Yes, Prime Minister of Japan

"You? You can push Mom's butt."
"Ah, no!"
Amidst the commotion, the New Year's bell tolled at midnight, and 2030 arrived.
……
Early the next morning.
Li Xinghe and his family hurriedly drove back to their hometown in Kawaguchi City to perform their New Year's greetings at their family shrine.
"May everything go smoothly in 2030!"
Everyone clapped and prayed together.
As soon as we came out of the shrine, we heard Grandma Akako saying:
"I pray that Hinako and Hinaki will become pregnant soon."
"what!"
Fujinakako didn't react, but Chiyo Hinaki was already embarrassed and angry, and went to argue with her mother.
For the Japanese, the new year has arrived.
However, for Chinese people who observe the Lunar New Year, only half of it has arrived; the other half remains.
In 2029, Japan experienced a series of coups, ultimately stabilizing under Lee Sung-ha's centralized power and the creation of a democratic puppet regime. South Korea also subsequently experienced a series of coups, returning to the model of the military government era under Lee Sung-ha's leadership.
However, with Li Xinghe's regional cooperation reforms, South Korea and North Korea entered into a ceasefire procedure, and trade exchanges between China, Japan, South Korea, and North Korea rebounded significantly. The huge trade volume has promoted the steady improvement of economic cooperation among the four countries, which has greatly benefited the people of all countries.
Therefore, in his New Year's greetings, Li Xinghe addressed the Japanese:
"In the new year, may there be world peace, a thriving economy, safety for all, and success in everything."
Moreover, he dared to say it, and the people actually believed him.
This may be the first time in forty years that Japan has seen a resurgence of positive momentum.
In Northeast Asia, the only country that is not doing well is Taiwan.
Only when there is a sufficiently large economic gap, both mainland China and Japan are making efforts to siphon Taiwanese residents away, and the situation of war is imminent, will a large number of residents continue to flee.
But these conditions were indeed met.
In the past year, more than 300 million Taiwanese have emigrated, most of them to Japan. Although they say they are going abroad for travel, the number of Taiwanese people on the streets is visibly small; they are already applying for permanent residency there.
Speaking of immigration, we must also mention the 'Taiwan unification team' currently being prepared in Okinawa.
This is due to the interference of the pro-unification camp's "green terror." The pro-unification individuals who have fled Taiwan one after another have gathered in Naha, Okinawa. After receiving training from the Okinawa guerrillas, they are currently busy cooperating with Japan's immigration policy to relocate the largest number of Taiwanese to designated rehabilitation cities in Japan to prevent them from being threatened by war.
In the Taiwan unification team, Ou Huiling, the political warfare director in charge of political warfare, is preparing to lead a team back to Taiwan to personally rescue the person.
"Director Ou, are we about to head back to the island?"
Her subordinates were conducting military training, but upon seeing her, they all came to say goodbye.
Ou Huiling was originally an ordinary, diligent middle-aged female teacher. She had no political stance, no pro-China or pro-independence inclinations, but because she led her students to participate in cross-strait cultural activities, she was labeled a "pro-China and pro-China" element by the pro-independence camp. She was first dismissed from her public office, then her family was harassed, leading to divorce, and finally she was even sent to prison.
After her release from prison, she joined the Communist Party.
On the issue of leading a team to Taiwan for political work, she insisted on personally going back to do the work:
"People's hearts are complex. From a political standpoint, most Taiwanese residents are certainly unwilling to change the political situation in which they have lived for decades. But now it is a matter of life and death, and we can only try our best to get Taiwanese people to emigrate and reduce the wounds of war."
Amid everyone's blessings, Ou Huiling led her team by boat, entering the country through the port of Yilan County, and quickly heading to Taipei.
This year, many media outlets have mentioned that war is imminent.
Amidst the sweeping tide of the times, different sectors in Taiwan have reacted in different ways.
Those who have repeatedly said they would leave the pro-unification camp may ultimately not leave their homeland.
Young figures from both the KMT and DPP camps, who boast on camera about their willingness to stand with Taiwan to the death, have actually already bought plane tickets to the United States. Moreover, they are not ashamed of this; on the contrary, they have repeatedly announced on camera that their ability to gracefully retire and escape to the US and Japan proves their connections and background.
Some Taiwanese who have already settled in mainland China may even return to their hometowns and migrate back to Taiwan from the mainland.
Those farmers in Tainan who once firmly supported the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) may now have shifting stances, opposing the DPP, the Kuomintang (KMT), or everything else. The only difference is that they are unwilling to leave their hometown.
Those who shout to welcome the mainland are not necessarily true unificationists, and those who want to coexist with their homeland are not all true separatists. Those who welcome the mainland are often lone wolves of pro-unification who have been rejected by their families, but it cannot be ruled out that large families and gangs want to raise the red flag in advance. Those who oppose the mainland landing may be ordinary Taiwanese people, but they also oppose the recall of Lai Ching-te and the DPP's green terror.
Most people are ordinary people who are caught up in the tide and have no control over their own destiny.
Pro-unification groups from the Ryukyu Islands traveled to the vicinity of Taipei to conduct underground propaganda work.
"Let's go and take a look at the Taiwan Executive Yuan's National Conditions Brief. You are not even considered Taiwanese! You are all part of the remaining 96.2% of the population. The DPP will never care about you."
"Come to Japan with us. Japan is now ruled by Chinese people, and they are willing to allocate housing to everyone so we can start over."
"Let's go! Let's go! If we don't leave now, we won't be able to leave!"
Suddenly someone shouted:
"Run! The police are here! Someone must have secretly reported us!"
In the distance, a group of Taiwanese police officers slowly approached, and the pro-unification individuals who had gathered together hurriedly scattered and fled, hiding in alleys controlled by gangsters.
There's no other way but to flee, because Taiwan has now completely entered a period of green terror. The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) in Taiwan is constantly pushing forward various "Security Laws," "Secrecy Laws," and "Special Review Laws," virtually banning all discourse and software related to China. Anyone who shares an article written by a Chinese person, uses WeChat, Taobao, or watches iQiyi will be deemed to be "weakening Taiwan's dignity" or "cooperating with China's united front work," and will subsequently be saddled with various catch-all charges and sentenced one after another.
Initially, Taiwanese people didn't quite believe that the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) would dare to act so perversely. However, since 2024, the DPP's "martial law" stance has become increasingly pronounced, even going so far as to raise the extreme slogan that "any talk of North Korea is a crime, just like during the martial law period in South Korea."
This has led to a rather comical situation: everyone in Taiwan is suspected of being pro-China, including those influential figures and high-ranking officials in the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), but in the end, it is often only the KMT (Kuomintang) and pro-unification politicians who are punished and sentenced.
The police actually can't arrest so many people engaging in pro-China behavior, so they asked slowly:
Where are the Chinese spies?
"No, no, no."
The people who were being incited shook their heads repeatedly.
The policeman looked around and asked again:
"So... did anyone from over there come over and say something? Do you have any flyers? Can I have one?"
Taiwanese civilians and politicians also believe that if the CCP attacks Taiwan, there will definitely be defection leaflets or similar operations, so everyone is very receptive to this idea and asks everywhere if there are any leaflets for defection to the CCP.
The public won't fall for it.
Regardless of whether the police were sincere or not, they dared not hand over any leaflets under the shadow of the Green Terror.
However, someone gave the police a leaflet for asylum seekers heading to Japan, and the police said:
"That works too, it's at least a way out."
Suddenly, the military police arrived.
"Hey! What are you doing gathering there? Are you trying to spread pro-Communist propaganda?"
"Wow, are you kidding me? We're police officers!"
The police and military police got into an argument.
Seeing the police officers hiding the five-star red flag in their arms, while the military police were arresting the officers, the people sighed even more:
Who exactly are we?
Some are sad, some are sighing:
"In this age of demons descending upon the world, who knows who they are? I feel like a thornbird without feet, with nowhere to land. When will I finally be able to land?"
Chapter 776: Millions of Star River Immigrants, Dragon Soars Ten Thousand Miles South (4400 words)
"Arrest Communist spies!"
"Bullshit! We're the ones who want to arrest communist spies!"
On the streets of Taipei, military police and regular police officers clashed, hats flying off and buttons being ripped off.
Suddenly, the five-star red flag that the two men had prepared beforehand fell to the ground. The two men, who were fighting, quickly lay down to pick it up and hid it back in their arms.
They stood up and looked at each other, their expressions unanimously conveying the same thoughts:
"These are what I confiscated!"
"These were confiscated by me too!"
Finally, both sides backed down, taking the 'captured' five-star red flag back to their respective departments.
But then again, why are there five-star red flags everywhere on the island?
This is a very mysterious topic.
Although these kinds of items would absolutely not pass customs inspection on the surface, almost every household keeps some, just in case.
After the military police and regular police passed by, another department that struck fear into people's hearts arrived.
The National Defense Mobilization Agency drove vans into the streets to conscript men, causing panic and people to scatter in all directions. As a national defense mobilization force initiated by Tsai Ing-wen's faction, this department has been expanding continuously in recent years, now numbering in the thousands. The ROC military's practice of conscripting men indiscriminately is no different from that of Ukraine.
The streets were filled with wailing and howling, and the television stations were much the same.
Sanlih E-Television broadcast a headline: "Is Li Xinghe a Chinese spy?"
A Taiwanese media commentator, having lost his composure, launched into a passionate tirade on television:
"Oh my, he's spent $100 billion! That's enough to buy a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, but he's paying first and then waiting to pick up a ship that's still in the shipyard. Who knows if he'll even get the ship in the end? This is clearly proof that he's severed all ties with us, Taiwan!"
His voice also represents the sentiments of a large number of pro-independence voters in Taiwan. Li Xinghe's betrayal was so ruthless that hundreds of soldiers deserted the entire Taiwanese military overnight.
But some commentators found humor in the hardship:
"Oh, we're all family. Whether it's Li Xinghe or the mainland, let's sit down and talk. We all speak Mandarin and write Chinese characters, so what can't we talk about?"
However, this statement sparked a fierce backlash from both the KMT and DPP:
"Are you Taiwanese? How dare you say such surrendering things?"
"What, you're not Han Chinese?"
“I…I…I’m Taiwanese, I’m a native Taiwanese.”
"Does the DPP recognize you? Look at what they wrote! Taiwan's indigenous people are the real ones! Whether they are native Taiwanese or mainlanders, they were all invaders and colonizers, and they are all guilty. What kind of logic is that?"
The three commentators, each with their own stance, engaged in a mix of truth and fiction, quickly igniting a boxing atmosphere in the studio and naturally resonating with the viewers.
Orphans of Asia.
Who am I?
This is an old problem that has persisted for many years. To this day, Taiwan still cannot define who it truly is.
Is it Qing Dynasty land? Japanese remnant land? Republic of China? Taiwan Province? Republic of Taiwan? Austronesian Islands? Japan? China? Southeast Asia?
Without understanding what kind of country or region they truly belong to, they naturally cannot establish a dominant ethnic group or a core national ideology. This has resulted in the KMT clinging to the outdated and corrupt banner of the "Republic of China," while the DPP, on the one hand, is pro-Japanese, and on the other hand, is trying to emulate the US by creating an ethnic system based on the conflict between indigenous peoples and colonizers.
Since 2024, Taiwan's Executive Yuan has stopped including "Han Chinese" in its self-introduction. Instead, it lists 2.6% indigenous people, 1.2% immigrants (including those from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau), and 96.2% other people (Han Chinese who came to Taiwan from the Ming and Qing Dynasties to the Republic of China).
This might be the most bizarre self-introduction in the world.
I have never seen a situation where the dominant ethnic group is placed under the name of the rarest mountain tribes, while the Han Chinese, who constitute the majority of society, are completely excluded and classified as another population. To avoid any connection with the mainland, the very term "Han Chinese" has been completely erased. It's a pity there's no way to change the language; otherwise, the DPP would be eager to change everyone's language to an Austronesian language with Japanese kana pronunciation.
This erasure of the dominant ethnic group began gradually with the DPP coming to power, through successive textbook reforms, and was completely wiped out starting in 2024.
If the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) insists on the theory of indigenous democracy, then considering the brutal battles between the Han Chinese and the indigenous people on the island from the Ming and Qing dynasties to the Republic of China, the DPP leadership, which is almost entirely composed of Han Chinese immigrants, should all follow Japan's example and collectively perform seppuku (ritual suicide) to apologize to the indigenous people.
Unfortunately, I didn't dare.
The extreme confusion and complexity in Taiwan's intellectual circles and public discourse stems from the DPP's dual stance: opposing the KMT's Republic of China line while simultaneously adopting American practices of protecting indigenous people and antagonizing immigrants, all while maintaining a dominant Han Chinese and Chinese cultural identity. Students on the island, using the DPP's constantly revised textbooks, are unaware of their own Chinese identity and struggle to differentiate between "native Taiwanese," "mainlanders," and "indigenous," further exacerbating their confusion. If children are like this, adults are even more bewildered. A seemingly endless array of political stances—from military dependents' villages, indigenous backgrounds, descendants of the 228 Incident, members of the democratization movement, native Taiwanese, mainlanders, spouses of mainlanders, gangsters, pro-Japanese, pro-American, and so on—fragment and disrupt the chaotic public discourse.
But it's really not good for the mainland to get involved, because Lai's actions have created a huge rift and many pro-unification factions amidst the chaos.
Of course, despite the arguments, Lai Shen and a group of anti-communist radical internet celebrities joined forces to carry out a major recall, which brought the local governance to a new level of atrocity. In the end, local governments were paralyzed one after another, and capable people, regardless of whether they were pro-China or not, were often expelled and fled to the mainland, the United States or Japan.
If everyone is running away, then who will be responsible for maintaining social order?
Taipei is doing alright; it still has some government power and traditional political inertia, which allows it to maintain openness and stability.
However, in the vast rural areas of Taichung and Tainan, further and further away from Taipei, the island is entirely dominated by Taiwanese gangs. Gangs named after various districts, towns, and streets are entrenched in countless corners of the island's countryside. These gangs, often composed of descendants of Kuomintang military dependents from mainland China, range from large groups that launder money and establish international businesses to smaller, more ruthless local powers.
Previously, the government could barely suppress it.
The government has now been dismissed by Lai Shenda.
Ultimately, the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) relied on both online celebrities to incite populist sentiment and to compromise and cooperate with gang leaders to maintain its meager regional power, making the situation in Taiwan increasingly complex. It could be said that outside of Taipei, Taichung and Tainan were practically entirely controlled by gang leaders.
Unfortunately, the pro-unification squad on Ryukyu Island has a deep connection with the Bamboo Union, one of Taiwan's three major triads.
