"I don't know what's wrong with the Indians. They asked the dynasty to cede Qiang City. Your Highness naturally refused, so they sent an army to rob it," Officer Yu Yong said in a particularly puzzling tone. "The Indians are shameless and they played tricks. We hastily fought them and thought we would definitely die. But the reinforcements from Hanyu Port just left and we defeated the Indians..."

This is too much of an Indian, An Jiyue thought. "What are the strengths of the two armies?" she asked.

Hearing the question from the Jiedushi, the officer Yuyong first glanced at Liu Jianguo, and when he saw the staff nodded slightly, he said, "The Indians have about 20,000 combat soldiers, and 60 war elephants to help. Our army has about 2,000 Yugang soldiers, 5,000 Fengtian soldiers, 300 gunners, 10 cannons, and 2 rocket launchers, totaling 7,600 people."

"During the battle, General Fang ordered the artillery to aim at the enemy's war elephants and hit them hard, using fire to scare the elephants out of control and trample the Indian army. Then our army took advantage of the situation and pushed forward, killing them in one fell swoop... I have to say that the Indians really have a short memory. Everyone knows that elephants are afraid of fire, so how dare they bring these things here?"

"If there were no elephants, could it still be called the Indian army?" An Jiyue continued to complain.

The Jiedushi talked with the officer Yuyong for a while. Due to his position, the latter did not know much about the whole picture of the matter. He only knew that Luoya of Minaret City was crazy. When Baladiwa started the war and involved most of India, he was not worried about whether this bigger and bigger war would affect himself. Instead, he thought it was a great opportunity to expand the territory, because the other Indian kingdoms that had been restraining Minaret City in the past were now too busy to care about them.

With their minds full of the expansion of territory, the Tower City sent envoys to the iron court of Shangyang in a serious manner, asking Zhaoming to cede Qiang City to them in a matter-of-fact manner, on the grounds that according to their latest research results on Indian mythology such as the Mahabharata, Qiang City was originally their traditional territory, blah blah blah...

Zhaoming naturally could not respond to such an impolite request that was obviously caused by too much water from the Ganges River. As a result, just as the envoys from the Minaret City were sent out by the Dragon Dragon, the troops of the Minaret City approached the Qiang City along the Tiger Pass. The Indians naturally did not have the ability of the army-level space teleportation like the magic toad, which meant that at the same time as the envoys were sent out, their army set out to try to catch the Zhendan people off guard. As a result, they did achieve surprise at the battle level.

Unfortunately it's of no use.

The troops of Minaret City did not even see the walls of Qiang City, and were intercepted near the northern exit of the pass. After a fierce battle, the Indians who originally came to invade were now nervously deploying emergency defenses near the southern exit of Tiger Pass, fearing that the Aurora people on the other side of the mountain would take advantage of the situation and attack. For Minaret City, the only good news was that the troops sent to attack Qiang City were mainly vassal forces of Minaret City, and Minaret City's own direct forces suffered minor losses.

After sending off Officer Yu Yong who needed to continue his forward guard mission, the fleet arrived at Qiangcheng in the evening of that day. This border city was located at the northern exit of Tiger Pass. It was both a trade center and a fortress with solid defenses. Of course, its most famous place was the large number of naturalized Indians living there.

The lands governed by the five dragon sons are the most open and inclusive, except for Sister Hailong's Weidong Province. Shangyang has more than one special foreign community, and Qiangcheng, as a border city that thrives on trade, also has a large number of foreigners living here. To be honest, An Jiyue has no special opinion on her brother's secret sect and private research on dimensional stones. On the contrary, she has a lot of opinions about this international style - she has always disliked Ah San.

The local officials of Qiang City attached great importance to the arrival of this fleet. Especially when they learned that this fleet had shot down a flying ship of the Spire City and killed an Indian nobleman who seemed to be of high status, the governor of this city named Fang personally rode a sky lantern to the Junma.

Fang Jinglüe first had a conversation with Liu Jianguo to learn about the origins of this strange group of "Aurora people", and then cordially invited An Jiyue to visit his house. Unfortunately, the governor really didn't want to stay in any place with too high an Asan content, so he could only politely reject Fang Jinglüe's kindness.

The next morning, the fleet continued to move forward after replenishing a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables and meat. At the same time, there were a few more men sent by Fang Jinglue on the Junma. With the help of these people, the fleet, which didn't know the way, successfully arrived at Hanyu Port, a prosperous city located near the source of Shengjiang River.

When the fleet was still some distance away from the city, a group of dragon horse cavalry came up and vigilantly asked the fleet to stop. The fleet did so. Then Fang Jinglüe's men came forward, explained their purpose to these dragonborns and asked them to land and rest.

From An Jiyue's perspective, the dragon horse cavalry gave her a sense of arrogance, but not to the point of "arrogance". Just as the governor began to consider whether to give the other party a show of strength, the dragon horse cavalry split into two groups and "sandwiched" the fleet in the middle. The leader said that they would "escort" the fleet to the military camp in the city.

Liu Jianguo's face twitched when he heard this: "General An, please be patient, I will..."

Before the middle-aged aide could finish his words, a gust of wind roared past, blowing the giant dragon horse cavalry into pieces, while the three warships of the Shenzhou fleet remained motionless and were not affected at all.

"The rules I am willing to follow are the rules," the governor stared at the middle-aged aide and said word by word, "The rules I am not willing to follow are just toilet paper, do you understand?"

"...I need to go to the city immediately," Liu Jianguo smiled bitterly and bowed, "to prevent a real fight from breaking out."

Of course, they didn't fight. When the dragon horse cavalrymen regrouped and flew back in a rage, even though their eyes were about to pop out, they didn't really fight. When Liu Jianguo came back from Hanyu Port, before the middle-aged staff member could speak, An Jiyue said first: "Let's go directly to Shangwu."

"Well, the city manager hopes to show his hospitality as a host. I hope General An..."

An Jiyue looked at me with squinted eyes: "Put away your little thoughts, and don't use bureaucratic thinking to guess me. If you think you can use your set of rules to frame me in a subtle way... do you really think I won't flip the table?"

"Since General An wants to be conferred an honor by the Heavenly Dynasty," Liu Jianguo slowly put away all the expressions on his face, "he should strictly abide by the laws of the Heavenly Dynasty and must not cross the line."

"Come here," An Jiyue turned around and walked into the cabin, "Notify the entire fleet to turn around and return."

Liu Jianguo frowned, but didn't say anything. Gao Yun walked up to him and was about to speak when he saw Liu Jianguo waving his hand: "This mission is not easy to do... Since you are a citizen of the Celestial Empire, why do you distance yourself from the Celestial Empire?"

"Sir," Gao Yun said, bowing, "If General An's fleet really returns, what should we do?"

"It's okay, they're just throwing tantrums," Liu Jianguo said disapprovingly, "Could this General An really act on impulse? From what I've seen, he's always been careful and would never be so impulsive... Hmm? Is the ship landing?"

Ten minutes later, the Junma hovered only a few meters above the ground. The cargo door at the stern of the ship opened, the end of the gangway was placed on the ground, and Liu Jianguo was asked to get off the ship with his "luggage" with a bewildered look on his face.

"Sir," Gao Yun, who was also invited down, said, "Is this also 'throwing a tantrum'?"

Liu Jianguo watched in amazement as the warship took off and flew south, unable to utter a word.

Chapter 367 Pull (Part 2)

In the northern section of the Mountains of Sorrow, near the Arctic Wastes, you can go to the castle.

"So you came here to see polar bears baring their teeth?" Dustan Falcon, the Asur wizard who was obsessed with hunting Yankees, looked at him with sidelong eyes: "Although there are no polar bears here."

"I don't know whether it was Yuan Bo's intention or his subordinates acting on their own. I personally tend to think that Yuan Bo himself did not give such an order, but acquiesced to Liu's doing so," said An Jiyue, holding a rough pottery teacup in both hands and taking a sip of the steaming hot tea in the cup. "I must let the Heavenly Court know that A Yue and I not only have the strength of a vassal state, but also the consciousness of a vassal state. Testing must have a cost, otherwise this kind of mess will never end."

When An Jiyue said she was going back, she really meant it. Liu Jianguo was a very high-ranking bureaucrat, but because he was a very powerful veteran, his behavior and way of thinking would always unconsciously bring in the officialdom, which was exactly what An Jiyue hated the most. She didn't have the time to join these people in intrigue.

"In my opinion, Liu Jianguo has a very serious misunderstanding. He thinks that my seeking of the Heavenly Court's canonization is equivalent to joining the huge and complex bureaucratic system of the Zhendan Dynasty, and that I am 'one of them'," the girl said, picking up a piece of candied fruit from the plate and sniffing it. "No matter how clever the political means are, they can only be used against people in the same system. Liu Jianguo's position determines that he will intentionally or unintentionally try to make me obey this set of rules, and then use political means to divide and disintegrate my vassal state."

"When we were in Qiang City, he and that Fang Jinglüe tried to test the waters once. Their methods were indeed careful enough, but I just hate intrigues, not that I don't understand politics, so I rejected Fang Jinglüe's invitation to a banquet."

"What?" Dustan was confused. "He just invited you to dinner, why did you bring this up?"

"Having a meal is just a superficial thing," the person who answered was Barrel Magic Hammer. "What is the status of that man surnamed Fang? He is the governor of Qiang City, a local official in charge of the military and political affairs of a place, and his jurisdiction is also on the border. With his status, it is natural for him to host a banquet for a colleague who happened to pass by and is an official of the same dynasty. But the question is, can Xiao An be considered his colleague?"

"Yes. Zhendan is only divided among the five sons of the dragon, and there is no separation, let alone division," the Jiedushi nodded. "No matter how great the authority of the Jinglüeshi is, he has no right to interfere in diplomatic affairs. I have not yet accepted the canonization of the Heavenly Court, and my identity is not a member of the Celestial Empire. Politically, to Jinglüe Fang, I am an out-and-out 'foreigner'."

"Since he has managed to get the position of General Manager, General Fang must be no fool. He invited me to a banquet and told me directly that there would be other local officials from Qiang City and garrison officers at the banquet. Do you think he is being stupid? No, this is actually a hidden temptation. If I accept, it means that I am also a member of the Celestial Empire system, one of 'them'. Since I am 'one of them', then all kinds of official tricks can be arranged."

"... Damn it, it's just a meal, why are there so many twists and turns?" Dustan's face was full of pain: "But isn't Fang Jinglie from Weixi Province? Liu Jianguo is Yuanbo's man, how are these two sides cooperating?"

"Unless one is a core figure of a political faction, a person's identity and position are usually not so absolute," An Jiyue explained, "Besides, aren't the Weixi Province and the Central Province both under the rule of the Celestial Empire~"

The second half of the Jiedushi's words was so meaningful that it made the mage's head ache. "So you refused," Dustan concluded, "but when you arrived at Hanyu Port, Liu Jianguo still refused to give up, so you turned the table?"

"I have reason to suspect that the Dragon Horse Cavalry's harsh attitude was intentional. The key is that from their point of view, they are not to blame for doing so," the beautiful girl with silver hair and red eyes put the candied fruit into her mouth and took a small bite. "As the garrison of Hanyu Port, it is not wrong to be vigilant against foreign armed forces of unknown origin. The problem is that since Yuan Bo has sent his trusted aides, why didn't they coordinate in advance the several places that must be passed before going to Shangwu?"

"This is definitely not the work of Yuan Bo. This old monster who has lived for thousands of years and has long been in charge of government affairs on behalf of the Two Saints, even if he wants to test it, he will definitely do it more naturally and will not leave such an obvious flaw..."

Dustan: "...Are you sure this is 'obvious'?"

"Isn't this obvious enough? I suspect this might have been arranged by Liu Jianguo or someone else," An Jiyue looked at Dustan with some surprise, "I used the Wind Control Technique to blow away the group of dragon horse cavalrymen, and then Liu Jianguo said he would help communicate to avoid a conflict. The so-called 'communication' here is actually the second test. Liu Jianguo is only a staff member of the Jade Court, not an official of the Ministry of Rites. He can perform certain specific tasks in private, but he must not put things in the open and handle them in the government office."

"The two attempts were essentially a salami-slicing tactic. Liu Jianguo wanted to use internal rules rather than external rules to deal with all the intersections between me and the Zhendan Dynasty. As long as I accept it, it means that I am also a member of this system. I tolerated it once in Qiang City, but when I arrived at Hanyu Port, I really couldn't stand it anymore."

"Bureaucrats are like this," Barrel said nearby. "If you give in, they will take more. As long as you don't use your weapons against their heads, these people will plot against you from morning till night."

"I have the ability and the courage to overturn the table," An Jiyue put down the candied fruit she hadn't eaten much of, "I believe my attitude has been fully conveyed, and now it depends on what Yuanbo chooses. Of course, he actually has no choice. I know the whereabouts of Shenzhu, so Yuanbo will definitely give in in the end."

After the fleet returned, it first went back to Jingning to replenish supplies and perform maintenance on the ships, then flew straight north, crossing the dark land and continuous mountains, and arrived at Kewang Fort, where two Holy Book Lords were squatting. Due to the continuous war, the expansion plan of Kewang Fort had been delayed again and again, and the group members generally relied on this "monster spawning point" to provide a stable points income, and the fortress itself had long exceeded its capacity.

Dustan had no other choice. After discussing with Barrel, he decided to summon the dog pack leader to solve the problem: An Jiyue could use the Five Elements Control Technique to handle all the work from leveling and compacting the ground to building the main structure of the fortress. Well, in fact, Xiao Yiyue could do it in terms of pure magic power, but Xiao Yiyue couldn't understand the construction drawings...

As one of the three strength benchmarks in the group, Xiao Yiyue is T0 level both in close combat and spellcasting. The price she paid was that she chose a bunch of negative traits when she was checking in. In An's Zhendan, professionally trained alchemists often master many abilities in addition to spell cultivation, such as alchemy, weapon making, formation, talismans, animal taming, astronomy and geomancy, feng shui, investigation of things, mathematics, medicine, foreign languages... and so on. However, Xiao Yiyue, as a direct disciple of the Northern Tianshi Mansion, does not know any of the above.

As for An Jiyue, except for being not good at prediction, she is omnipotent as a Taoist priest.

"So you are just waiting for Yuan Bo to come and beg you?" Dustan said, "You won't mess up, will you?"

"I know my limits when doing things. I could have just walked away that time in Qiang City, but I tolerated it once, and I didn't turn the table until Hanyu Port," An Jiyue shook her head, "I have already given face to Yuan Bo."

"Compared to what's going on in Aurora, I'm more concerned about whether or not the City Heart of Kewang Castle will be filmed." Barrel interrupted, "Xiao An, what have you thought about?"

"Don't ask me. As long as the food problem is not solved, I can't make up my mind," the girl said, covering her forehead with her hand in annoyance. "If we don't deploy the City Heart, the Fortress won't have the conditions to maintain the operation of the flying fleet. But if we really want to deploy it, where can we get food in this damn place? We can't just rely on the lottery from the supply pool. The cost of points is unbearable."

Whether it is the Iron Forge Valley, Sky Shield Fort, or the Shenzhou Fleet Headquarters in Xuanshui City, the existing air force bases of the Lords of the Holy Scripture are all near large cities, and only cities with developed industries can maintain the logistics support needs of the flying fleet. As the first line facing the Arctic wasteland, Fortress urgently needs the powerful force of the flying fleet, but the Lords of the Holy Scripture have never deployed a fleet there because the logistical difficulties are almost unsolvable.

If you really want to go, there is a way. Just buy a city heart worth one million points, and then tap it on the anchor point, and you can immediately create a city with complete facilities and functions. But this will lead to a new problem: what about the resources needed by the city itself, especially food? Although it is possible to grow crops near the fort, it can only grow one season of cold-resistant crops a year, which is impossible to meet the needs of an industrialized city.

"The military pressure on my side is increasing, but we can still hold on for now," Dustan said. "Now that the fortress has been expanded, everyone can deploy more troops remotely here. By the way, the logistics pressure has also increased... Sooner or later, we have to face the food problem. How can we keep dragging it out?"

"When Morgan is free, let her think about the magic-driven constant temperature farm. I really don't have the time to study this myself," An Jiyue could only say, "I always feel that relying on external food imports is unreliable... Oh, here it comes."

Facing the gazes of the two group members, the girl said, "Yuan Bo's people have arrived in Jingning. I have to go back."

Chapter 368: Prelude to Destruction

In the south, in the underground world, in a cave.

"Thank you for your hard work, Nadel," Namtaru said as calmly as possible, looking at the haggard face of her deputy, "I saw the memory gland you sent back... Anyway, go and rest first."

"No," Nadel whispered, "I can't sleep, Overlord. This is a nightmare that I can't wake up from. I never thought that one day I would order the execution of one-third of the Overlord's guard nodes just to stop the spread of the cursed plague."

Recalling everything she had experienced not long ago, the body of the Nest Queen trembled uncontrollably. The lingering doom smiled coldly beside Nadel's ear, as if telling her in this way that she had never really escaped... until Namtaru's eyes turned into pure silver, and the chattering whispers finally disappeared.

After using psychic energy to forcibly dispel the evil spirits from the warp, Namtaru said: "You did the right thing. Your performance was even better than my best expectations. Even under such circumstances, you made the right decision. Well, forget about those people who left us for now. What you need now is rest."

Nadel nodded and said goodbye to her master with a tired look.

Until her deputy completely disappeared from her sight, Namtaru could no longer suppress her emotions, and her face was twisted with anger and fear. Even though she thought she had done enough psychological preparation, when the Overlord intuitively realized how powerless her own people were in the face of chaos, this unprecedented experience still made Namtaru furious.

Nadel was decisive enough. When she noticed something was wrong with the colony, she immediately ordered the Overmind Guard to attack and use absolute force to destroy the colony and everything on it, instead of trying in vain to communicate with her corrupted kin. Even if Namtaru herself had gone out in person, she couldn't have done better.

However, Chaos is not something that can be measured by reason. Even though Nadel made very good defenses before the attack, the Overlord Guard still encountered problems during and after the battle: subordinate nodes were inexplicably infected with the plague and began to attack their own people. At the same time, some strange whispers appeared in the hive's mental network. The hive nodes would become new infected individuals after a period of time just by hearing the whispers...

Finally, Nadel ordered the closure of the Hive network, and different nodes used pheromones to communicate - in previous wars with the Faceless, this was only done in the most extreme cases. This greatly reduced the efficiency of information exchange between Hive nodes, but at least the damned whispering finally stopped. In addition, Nadel also ordered the execution of all individuals who showed symptoms of infection, regardless of the severity, and forcibly controlled the spreading plague.

The Dominant Guard stayed on the surface for two weeks until no new infected individuals appeared. The exhausted Nadel ordered to return to the underground world to report to Namtaru. The Dominant Guard suffered very few casualties when destroying the colony, but in the subsequent strange plague, almost one-third of them were killed by their own people.

Nadel didn't know what had happened to her, but Namtaru did. The Overlord originally thought that she had taken the threat of Chaos seriously enough, but only after experiencing it herself did she realize that she had underestimated the horror of those things. Namtaru began to understand why the Old Ones slaughtered her ancestors, but of course, this did not mean that she would forgive them.

Hatred is hatred. The ancient saints fled this world eight thousand years ago, but the lizard monsters they created to slaughter the people are still there. Namtaru will not give up revenge, but the current situation is really...

Then the Overlord thought of the surface people, and someone who told him the truth. The power of Chaos threatened all living beings equally, but the surface people were still able to live on the surface and even developed a prosperous civilization. This could be seen from the exquisite goods imported from the surface people when the two sides traded in the Reflection Fortress.

The surface people have ways to resist the corruption of Chaos, or at least control this threat to a certain extent - any individual with basic logical thinking can come to this conclusion.

"An Jiyue..." Namtaru muttered this reputation softly. The Overlord thought of many things, not only the problem of Chaos Corruption, but also the strange existence called "Undead" that he saw when the two sides met last time.

A moment later, a psychic message came from the Lord's palace. Since Nadel had gone to rest, the mission was assigned to a recently hatched tribe mother, who was ordered to go to the Reflection Fortress and request a meeting with the surface army stationed there: Namtaru hoped to have a meeting with An Jiyue as soon as possible.

Not long after, Namtaru received a reply from the surface people. The general stationed in the Reflection Fortress by the surface people, a dwarf leader named Mogrim, told the tribe mother sent by the Overlord that "Ms. Young Moon", that is, An Jiyue, had gone to a distant country called Zhendan and would not be back for at least a few months.

This news made Namtaru frown. Seeing this, Nadel, who still looked exhausted even after resting, tentatively said, "Perhaps you can try to meet with the leaders of other surface people, Lord."

"I have a bad feeling, Nadel," the Overlord rubbed his brow irritably, "I've had this feeling since you came back. Some threat is approaching step by step, and we know nothing about it."

"So we can't just sit there and wait for death," Nadel advised. "From the last meeting, it seems that the people on the surface are at least honest enough on major issues. We should also show our sincerity."

"...You are right," the Overlord nodded after hearing this. "Send another messenger, or to other surface leaders. In short, we need to have in-depth communication with the surface people as soon as possible, otherwise the situation will only continue to deteriorate."

As soon as he finished speaking, a clan champion rushed into Namtaru's bedroom without any notice. Before Nadel could scold him, the young male shouted, "Something happened! <Nest Clan swear word>, the damn plague has appeared again!"

The Overlord and the Queen exchanged a glance. "Seal off the cave where the plague appeared, and have the Overlord's guards..." Namtaru paused delicately when mentioning her own guards, "have the troops closest to the scene rush over immediately and kill all the nodes in the cave, and then have the troops responsible for executing this order commit suicide on the spot."

The clan champion was stunned: "Lord, Lord? But..."

"There is no 'but'." Namtaru did not raise her voice. She just glanced at the clan champion lightly, and he was scared to the ground, shaking all over.

"Follow my orders," said the Overlord.

After the clan champion left in a cold sweat, Nadel said with a worried look on her face: "Master..."

"Cancel the order to send the messenger," Namtaru said after thinking for a while, "Let's control the situation first. Nadel, the matter about the plague must be kept strictly confidential and must not be known to the people on the surface."

"I have no intention of questioning your orders, Lord," the Queen of the Brood said solemnly, "I am afraid that concealing the truth will bring worse consequences."

"You were also present at the last meeting. You only saw An Jiyue's frankness and didn't realize what she wanted to say." Namtaru's expression was extremely serious when she said this. "If we were corrupted by the power of darkness, or even showed the possibility of this, she would definitely send her army to try to destroy us."

"Yes," Nadel bowed her head to her lord, "I understand."

"I will personally handle the plague," the Overlord continued. "During this period, you will be solely responsible for blocking the news. You must not let the surface people know what we don't want them to know. Remember, your mission is vital. We cannot afford to fight a war with the surface people while fighting the plague."

"Yes, Lord," Nadel said solemnly, "I will obey your will."

Chapter 369: The Second Beating

It seemed like just a blink of an eye, and time had come to the last month of 2503 (Note 1).

As a top politician, Yuan Bo was very efficient. After receiving Liu Jianguo's urgent report, the provincial governor, prime minister of the imperial court, and chief of the secret service immediately recalled Liu Jianguo and sent a new representative to Jingning with Yuan Bo's handwritten letter and some worthless but thoughtful gifts.

It is worth mentioning that this new representative is also related to a certain Lord of the Holy Scriptures.

"The Tiger Pass is ahead," An Jiyue, who was wearing armor but a straw hat, pointed ahead and said on the bridge of the Swift. "Since we have been there once before, our captain assured me that we can pass through the pass and reach Qiang City within a day this time."

Hearing the words of the Jiedushi, Xiuyanqing, who was wearing a black robe, a jade belt around his waist, and a light armor over his clothes, turned his whole body and faced An Jiyue: "I just observed the sky. From what I see, there will be a violent storm in the mountains after nightfall today. Don't the fleet under Jiedu An need to take shelter?"

Looking at the other person's face that was almost carved out of the same mold as Bing Ruolan, even though they had been together for a few days, An Jiyue still had a rather subtle feeling: "These ships were designed by me. As early as the stage of drawing the blueprints, I considered the needs of fighting in extreme weather conditions. Take the Swift-class frigate under our feet as an example. It can sail and fight normally in a force 7 wind, or drive the ship back intact in a force 8 wind."

Shugen-King showed a curious look: "Forgive my ignorance, but what are 'force 7 wind' and 'force 8 wind'?"

"This is our set of wind force classification standards. Specifically, it is..."

Bing Ruomei, the eldest of the four sisters in the Bing family, Bing Ruolan's step-sister, is currently a general under Yu Ting. Bing Ruolan was unable to travel through time normally for some reasons, and was finally reincarnated into a prominent family in Weijing with her soul shattered, becoming the second sister of the Dragonborn quadruplets. Because the quadruplets are all female, the elders of the clan named the four sisters after plum, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum, the eldest sister Bing Ruomei, the second sister Bing Ruolan, the third sister Bing Ruozhu, and the youngest sister Bing Ruoju.

As the direct descendants of Shen Zhu, the Bing family has always been the top family in the Zhendan Dynasty and holds a pivotal position. After the four sisters came of age, for various reasons, Bing Ruomei stayed in the Central Province to serve Yuan Bo; Bing Ruolan took the initiative to go to Weibei Province to work for Miao Zhanshuai out of her own will; Bing Ruozhu went to Weidong Province; and the youngest Bing Ruoju went to Weixi Province.

All four sisters are powerful spellcasters, creating the legend of "four nobles from one family". In particular, Bing Ruomei, as the heir of the family, has been placed with high hopes since she was a child, and she has never failed the family's expectations of her. In her first year of service, she made military achievements in clearing out the greenskins, and was therefore appreciated by Yuan Bo.

Compared to Bing Ruolan, who was a political idiot, Bing Ruomei, who was trained as an heir, was obviously much more capable, but not as bureaucratic as Liu Jianguo, which made An Jiyue quite annoyed. When the two sides met for the first time, Bing Ruomei took the initiative to mention her second sister who had been stranded in the old world and had not returned yet, and in a few words, they became closer.
