"I'm sorry, the jades we collected before were taken away by Naraku." Although Kagome said this to Kikyo, she was actually very guilty, because those jades not only belonged to her and Inuyasha, but also to Miroku.

"As long as Miss Kagome is safe, the Shikon Jade can be collected again." Miroku was very understanding.

He is an upright wizard who can only be shaken by beautiful women. He has no interest in the Four Souls Jade which is filled with evil power.

Only Coral had a gloomy look on her face. The power of the Four Souls Jade on Naraku was far beyond that of ordinary monsters, and their road to revenge became even more difficult.

But the reason why her face looked so ugly was not because of this, but because Naraku's phantom killing made her see the things she had always been rejecting.

Her brother Amber was controlled by Naraku and killed his father and companions. Sango and Inuyasha had already accepted them through their interactions. So she was always worried that Naraku would use Amber to control him to kill Kagome and others.

In the illusion, she saw Kagome, Miroku, Inuyasha and others lying in a pool of blood. Only Kohaku was holding a bloody flying chain, standing in the shadows and looking at her indifferently...

Although it was an illusion, what would she do if this really happened?

Miroku's situation was similar to that of Coral. In his illusion, he saw the scene of his father being swallowed by the wind hole when he was a child. The scene changed and he became an adult. Because he did not kill Naraku, the curse of the wind hole in his palm gradually expanded, the wind became stronger, and finally the seal of the rosary collapsed, sucking him into the wind hole, leaving only a 100-meter deep pit on the surface.

Including Inuyasha, these three people all developed trauma because of Naraku and were used by Naraku.

Only Kagome survived, but Kagome did not have any special skills like them, so it was normal for the Four Souls Jewel to be snatched away by Naraku.

Moreover, things have come to this point, and after they woke up, they also overheard part of the content.

Kagome couldn't be blamed for this.

Moreover, even if Kikyo did so, they seemed unable to stop Kikyo.

Not to mention that Kikyo herself is a world-famous shrine maiden with unfathomable strength.

Just the Hades Shura standing nearby was enough to defeat them.

Although Hades Shura was just watching the fun, if they became hostile towards Kikyo, he would never sit idly by.

Miroku believed in his premonition very much.

Just as she was about to go back, Kagome froze for a moment, as if she remembered something, and stood still. Inuyasha looked over, "Kagome, what's wrong with you?"

"Wait, the Four Souls Jade is gone... I don't think I can go back to the modern era..." She muttered to herself, beginning to feel that the problem was getting serious and she started to panic.

"Kikyo, wait a minute, I can't go back!"

Inuyasha and Miroku looked at each other, especially the former, who had no idea what Kagome was worried about.

Kikyo, who had just walked a short distance, saw Kagome running towards her in a panic and thought something had happened, but it turned out to be a problem with the Bone-Eating Well.

Kagome looked pitiful and asked Kikyo for help.

She has always believed that the Four Souls Jade is a medium for time travel. Without it, wouldn't she be trapped in the Warring States Period?

Kikyo stopped. She never thought that the Four Souls Jade had the power to travel through time and space. She asked, "Why do you think that only by holding the Four Souls Jade can you travel through time?"

"Huh?" Kagome was stunned. She didn't think so much about it. She just felt so instinctively.

Because I feel that without the jade, I won't be able to travel through time.

I am just an ordinary junior high school student.

"Inuyasha has also visited your world to look for you, right?"

Kagome nodded. Ergouzi had indeed come to the modern world to find her many times.

Kikyo asked again: "Did he carry the Four Souls Jade at that time?"

This question immediately stumped Kagome. Inuyasha probably, perhaps, seemed to, did not bring the Shikon Jewel with him, right?

She didn't think it mattered before, but now Kagome is gradually finding it strange.

Inuyasha, why can you travel through time?

She stood there, totally confused.

Kikyo smiled slightly: "Huh, it seems that Inuyasha's simple personality is not without advantages."

"Go ask Inuyasha and he'll tell you the answer."

"Kagome, don't be confused!"

After she left these words, she left side by side with Hades Shura.

Soon, Inuyasha and his group who were waiting there saw Kagome walking towards them slowly with a strange expression on her face, murmuring something like "Don't be confused?"

Inuyasha went over to greet him. He was carefree and said, "Kagome, let's go back! We don't have to worry about the Shikon Jewel anymore."

But his brain waves did not match Kagome's, and the latter gave him a strange look, which made Inuyasha shudder. His drooping ears stood up and moved alertly. He was worried that Kagome's next words would be for him to sit down.

"Why are you looking at me like that!"

"No, Inuyasha, how did you get to me?"

Kagome stared at Inuyasha closely, because Inuyasha's answer would determine how she would return.

Inuyasha was puzzled by Kagome's question. Why look for her? Wasn't Kagome here?

Miroku probably heard it clearly, but the two of them couldn't explain it clearly. If they delayed any longer, it would be dark. "Ms. Kagome, I wonder what the Kikyo priestess told you?"

Kagome repeated Kikyo's words. She had never taken this issue seriously before, but now she found it quite incredible.

"I understand. I think Kikyo Miko probably hopes that you won't take the Four Souls Jade too seriously. A long time ago, Kikyo Miko also mentioned that the Four Souls Jade cannot travel through time and space..."

Having said this, Miroku stopped talking, but saw that the two of them had no impression at all, as if they were wondering if Kikyo had said that.

He was quite clear about Kagome's origins. Although he thought she was a magical girl, there were too many monsters and demons in this era, so even though she was a time traveler from another time and space, there was nothing to be surprised about.

Apart from anything else, isn’t Shura of the Underworld also a time traveler?

Compared to Kagome, this strong man whose soul was reincarnated into this era is more eye-catching.

Miroku had no choice but to repeat: "The Kikyo priestess did say this, it was the Tree of Ages that caused this."

Only coral and mica knew nothing about this.

Shippo looked helpless, as if he saw through everything. Even though he had just remembered it, it did not prevent him from having a deep sense of superiority over Inuyasha.

"Inuyasha, I really don't know what to say to you. Kikyo has already mentioned this matter."

He said in a very mature manner that Gouzi simply had no memory, and Kagome was just too concerned and confused. She had experienced too much and her memory was a little fuzzy. Hearing this, she picked up Shippo and asked, "Shippo, it seems you still remember it."

Shippo's attitude towards Kagome is different from Inuyasha's. If you compare them, ten silly Inuyashas are only as heavy as one of Kagome's hairs!

He immediately knew everything: "At that time, Kikyo said that the Time Tree can stop time and has the power to transcend time and space. The Bone-Eating Well was also built with the Time Tree as the log."

"And that scary guy, Hades Shura, also gave you some advice. It seems that he told you to be careful, otherwise you might disappear or something."

Since it was about Kagome, Shippo was deeply impressed, and Kagome gradually recalled the situation.

The Hades Shura is talking about the grandmother paradox.

This was indeed the case, but she didn't care much about it. The Four Souls fragments had already made Kagome extremely anxious. She had to sleep in the open all day, exhausted and dusty. She didn't even have time to take a shower, so she had no time to care about what would happen five hundred years later.

Moreover, she has brought modern items to ancient times many times and traveled around the world on her bicycle without any accidents.

Having said that, Inuyasha also understood what Kagome was worried about.

But he didn't think the Bone-Eating Well was anything special. He regarded it as a passage and honestly gave his feelings, "When I went to find you, I just jumped down and then jumped up again!"

Kagome was a little confused, "What about the process?"

Inuyasha glanced at Kagome and felt that this was useless, so he whispered, "Does it require a process?"

He is so used to it that he doesn't care how the BUG works.

Shippo also felt that Inuyasha was unreasonable, and that this stupid dog was truly useless.

He angrily got off Kagome's arms, then jumped up and hit Inuyasha's knee.

But he failed and was slapped to the ground by Inuyasha.

But Miroku has figured it out, "Ms. Kagome, it should be that Inuyasha was able to travel through time because he had no distracting thoughts. When he jumped into the Bone-Eating Well, he did not hesitate at all. He was not bound by the thought that 'it's just a well', but simply went to find you. So a miracle happened that Inuyasha himself didn't know about."

Kagome thought thoughtfully, does that mean I am still bound by common sense and think that the Bone-Eating Well is just a well?

Yes, Inuyasha lives in a world full of demons and monsters, so his behavior and thoughts are so wild and unconventional. On the contrary, I, who have received higher education, am hindered by this and cannot travel as I wish?

Miroku continued, "Also, Miss Kagome, do you remember what happened before you met Hades Shura? Because Naraku and Seshomaru colluded with each other, you were in danger and almost died. So because he was worried that you would continue to be in danger, Inuyasha took away the Four Souls Jewel and sent you back to your time. He also blocked the Bone-Eating Well with a big tree."

Kagome, on the other hand, still remembers this incident vividly.

At that time, they didn't even know the relationship between Naraku and Kikyo. After she left, Inuyasha was attacked. In the crisis, it was Shippo who brought the Four Souls Jade to the bottom of the Bone-Eating Well and let her sense it.

And that’s how she came back.

Inuyasha smelled her scent and immediately pulled the tree up again.

She also didn't have the Four Souls Jade at that time, but...

"I think Kikyo Miko must have seen this, so she told you 'Don't be confused'. It's a very insightful answer. The wisdom of this Miko is amazing."

Master Maitreya was amazed. He was truly stunned.

Miroku thought he had a pretty good brain, but faced with Kagome's situation, he could only unravel the situation and analyze it layer by layer, and he wasn't even sure if it was right or not.

If there hadn't been a hint from Kikyo, he would have never known the truth.

Although Kikyo and Kagome had such a brief contact and only met a few times, she was able to perceive the overall situation from the details.

The more you think about it, the more unfathomable it seems. This priestess is incredible. If Maitreya didn't know that Kikyo was dead, he would even think that Kikyo had the ability to see the future.

But maybe it is precisely because of his death that he became a Buddha instantly.

With this thought, Maitreya clasped his hands together and bowed in the direction where Kikyo left: "Great Bodhisattva Kikyo who saves the suffering and the distressed, be merciful and save the world, may you bless this disciple to lift the curse of the wind cave."

After he finished showing off, he turned around and saw that there was no one around. Kagome and Inuyasha had already walked away. Only Sango was carrying Flying Bone and looking very caring not far away.

Inuyasha's voice came from afar, "Miroku, hurry up, Kagome will be leaving after dinner!"

Maitreya shook his head slightly, feeling deeply desperate at the ignorance of the world. How could these people be saved if they did not know the power of Bodhisattva?

Reward

After hesitating for a while, I decided to offer a reward. I put it at the end of the chapter last month, but no one paid any attention to it.

As long as the average subscriptions exceed 600 this month, the number of updates per day will stabilize at 6,200 (currently 4,100).

In addition, for the accumulated achievements this month, for every 100 rewards, or 100 blades, or 100 monthly tickets, + will be added for one update.

The daily recommendation votes exceed 300, the daily comment area increases by 20, the number of daily posts increases by 50, and +2,000. (If the target is not reached on the same day, it will be recalculated the next day)

The above is valid this month, capped at fifty!

There will be similar rewards every month in the future!

PS: I don’t know if anyone cares, but please give this book a chance, please!

Chapter 73: Thank you for your care

Maitreya called Platycodon a great bodhisattva. Although it was a joke, it was also out of affirmation of Platycodon's wisdom and supernatural powers.

Because he had no right to comment on Kikyo, his grandfather Mi Bao was from the same era as Kikyo, but even if Mi Bao came in person, he had to maintain a respectful attitude towards the world-famous Kikyo priestess.

He failed to kill Naraku and was cursed instead. The curse could not be broken because it was linked to Naraku's life and passed on to future generations.

But if Kikyo hadn't died, Naraku would not dare to show up in front of Kikyo.

Even if Naraku casts a curse at the cost of his own life, it will be rebounded by Kikyo's spiritual power.

The Maitreya lineage practices Buddhism by using Brahma. Their magical powers come from Buddha, but they have separated themselves from Brahma. Therefore, they do not need to observe the Five Precepts of Buddhism or the Four Elements, nor do they need to shave their heads. Naturally, they have no reverence for Buddha and Arhats.

Although Buddhism and Shintoism are two different systems.

But in Maitreya's eyes, there is no essential difference between Bodhisattvas and the eight million gods of Shintoism.

Starting with the gods seen in the classics, birds, beasts, plants, mountains, seas, etc. are natural gods. Other gods include the excellent, kind, meritorious, evil, strange, and extremely terrifying.

The "gods" worshipped by Shintoism are not only the so-called gods, but also some horrifying evil spirits, and monsters are actually considered part of the gods.

Although Kikyo's resurrection was caused by a monster, she herself was not a mortal, so it is normal for people to build a shrine to worship Kikyo after learning about her deeds.

Kikyo is just a shrine maiden, not a shrine maiden who serves the gods. She built her own shrine and does not worship the gods. So even if she sees the gods, she does not need to be respectful or worship them.

Besides, her own spiritual power surpasses that of most true gods.
