"Not bad, Copy Ninja." You lay casually on his bed, your black hair spread out on the white sheets like an ink painting.

He wore a robe different from the Akatsuki robes of Konoha, with the front of the robe loosely open, revealing the samurai robe underneath.

Kakashi's breath hitched. "You..."

"Didn't you send me a message to come?" You rested your chin on your hand, twirling a strand of hair between your fingers.

"What do you mean I let you—" Kakashi's words were abruptly cut off because you suddenly turned over and reached for the book on his bedside table.

"Intimate Paradise?" You read the title with interest, your fingertips already turning the first page.

"Wait!" Kakashi practically lunged forward, and the two of them collided on the narrow single bed. The faint scent of mint emanating from you wafted into his nostrils, mingling with the damp smell of rain.

His palm rests on the back of your hand, and you can feel the warm blood flowing under your skin.

You raised an eyebrow, but didn't let go of the book. "So nervous? Perhaps there's a love letter tucked inside?"

"Don't go through other people's things without permission." Kakashi snatched the book back and quickly stuffed it under his pillow.

His cheeks were burning under the mask, and he was incredibly grateful for the dim lighting and the fabric covering his face.

You pout, lie back on the bed, and say, "Okay." You drawl out the word like a spoiled child.

The sound of rain outside the window grew louder. Kakashi sat down on the edge of the bed, his back to you. "What are you thinking?" he asked in a low voice, his fingers unconsciously tracing a crease in the sheet.

"What else can I think? It's just taking them all away...taking them away!" You suddenly sat up, your forehead unexpectedly bumping into Kakashi's back of the head.

"Hiss—" The two of them gasped at the same time.

You covered your forehead, but suddenly your eyes lit up. "I remember your Sharingan ability is Kamui, right?"

Kakashi immediately became alert, turned to face you, and asked, "What do you want?"

You kneel on the bed, leaning forward until your noses are almost touching. "I'm not doing anything bad," you say, your breath brushing against his mask. "Can I borrow your eyes?"

Kakashi felt a chill run down his spine. He should have pushed you away; he should have refused this absurd request.

But as if by some strange twist of fate, he heard his own hoarse voice ask, "...How do I borrow it?"

You didn't answer, but suddenly reached out and touched his mask.

Kakashi grabbed your wrist, but couldn't stop your fingers from hooking onto the edge of the fabric.

“The raccoon dog,” he warned.

"Shh," your voice was as soft as a whisper, "let me see the gift Obito gave you."

Sharingan against Sharingan, their chakra collided silently in the air.

It was an illusion! He suddenly awoke to find you had stepped back and were looking at him thoughtfully.

"So that's how it is..." you murmured to yourself, "This is why you came to find me."

Kakashi's heart pounded, whether from the genjutsu he had just witnessed or from the close proximity between them, he couldn't tell.

"Can you do it?" he asked directly.

You tilted your head, a sly smile suddenly appearing on your face. "Sure, but..." you pointed a finger at his chest, "You have to help!"

“What I said a year ago in the Snow Country wasn’t comforting.” Your eyes gleamed in the darkness. “I’ll tell you the real meaning after everything is over.”

Kakashi felt a tightness in his throat. "That's it?"

“And,” you suddenly leaned closer, your lips almost touching his earlobe, “you can’t tell anyone about what happened today, especially that little operative from the ANBU who’s always following you around.”

Your presence made Kakashi's ears burn. "Why should I believe you?"

"I swear in the name of my future leadership of Akatsuki," you say, feigning seriousness, but your eyes are full of amusement. "How about it?"

Kakashi sighed helplessly, but still reached out and gave you a high five as a pledge, "Deal."

Moonlight pierced through the rain clouds, casting dappled shadows between the two of them. You stood up, stretched, and the hem of your robe lifted with the movement, revealing a section of your fair calf.

"Then, at midnight, meet at the Uchiha clan compound." Your figure began to become transparent, swaying like a reflection in water. "Kakashi Hatake."

Before disappearing completely, you suddenly turned back, winked at him, and said, "By the way, you blush more interestingly than that little dirty book of yours."

Kakashi stood there, stunned, until your chakra aura completely disappeared, before belatedly touching his burning face under the mask.

The sound of rain grew louder, pulling Kakashi back to reality from his memories. He then realized that the other person was still holding his collar, and the other person was looking at him with a half-smile.

"Remember what happened that day?" you asked softly, your fingers gently resting on Kakashi's wrist. "I kept my promise, you know."

Kakashi released his grip, took a step back to create some distance, his mask obscuring most of his expression, but the complex emotions in his eyes were unmistakable. "You planned this all along, didn't you? Starting from the Land of Snow..."

You straightened your wrinkled collar. "Who knows?" You stood up and walked to the rain-soaked window. "The important thing is that the Uchiha clan survived, didn't they?"

Kakashi watched your retreating figure and suddenly felt a wave of weakness wash over him.

This woman is always like that, like a gust of wind that you can't catch, leaving behind countless mysteries before gracefully disappearing into the distance.

“Tanuki,” he unusually addressed you by your code name, “what exactly do you want?”

A flash of lightning ripped through the rain outside the window, illuminating your profile for a fleeting moment before disappearing back into darkness. Your voice was so soft it was almost drowned out by the rain.

"Perhaps... it's just a place that will never disappear. By the way, your two companions are both doing very well!"

You spoke so casually, as if you were just talking about today's weather.

"What did you say?"

His voice was deep and tense, his fingers unconsciously clenched, his knuckles turned white, and his exposed black eyes stared intently at you, as if trying to dig out the truth from your expression.

You simply smiled, a mischievous glint in your red eyes, tilted your head slightly, and let your black hair slip down your shoulders, gleaming softly in the light.

"Don't get excited, we'll meet again someday."

Your tone was light and casual, as if it were just a casual remark, yet it carried an undeniable certainty.

Kakashi's breath hitched slightly as countless images flashed through his mind: Obito's body crushed by a boulder, Rin's chest pierced by lightning, and those regrets he thought could never be undone.

And now you're telling him they're still alive?

He instinctively reached out to grab you and ask you for an explanation, but you had already taken a step back gracefully, a faint smile playing on your lips.

You suddenly approached.

Before Kakashi could even react, he felt a soft, warm touch gently against his cheek.

—It's your lips.

The kiss, light as a dragonfly skimming the water, felt like an electric current, instantly coursing through his entire body.

When you stepped back, Kakashi was still standing there, his pupils slightly dilated, his breathing sluggish.

"See you next time, Kakashi."

You chuckled lightly, tossed out those words, turned, and disappeared into the glamorous corridor of the host club, leaving behind only a faint, lingering scent of mint.

Kakashi raised his hand in a daze, his fingertips lightly touching the spot where he had just been kissed.

—(What exactly did she mean?)

Was it teasing? A joke? Or... something else?

His heart was beating faster than usual, and the corners of his lips under the mask tightened involuntarily.

That woman, Li Nu, is indeed incredibly dangerous.

When we returned to the base, the sky was already beginning to lighten.

The entire base was quiet, and everyone was still asleep. After all, you guys played games all night and didn't go back to your rooms until the early hours of the morning.

As you tiptoe through the corridor, passing Yahiko's room, you can faintly hear steady breathing coming from inside.

As for Hidan, he's probably still sprawled out on the bed, the blankets kicked to the side.

You curled the corners of your lips and walked straight toward the laboratory deepest in the base.

The door wasn't locked, so you just pushed it open and went in.

"How's the research on my blood going, Orochimaru?" Your voice was exceptionally clear in the quiet laboratory, but Orochimaru didn't even look up, still intently staring at the microscope, his golden vertical pupils slightly contracted.

"It's still not quite there, let's wait a little longer."

You casually picked up a test tube from the table and shook it. The liquid inside shimmered with an eerie purple hue under the light. "Are you sure this isn't poison?"

Orochimaru finally looked up, his narrow eyes glancing at you with a lazy tone.

"If you drink it, then that's it."

You chuckled and deliberately tilted the test tube, almost making it roll to the edge of the table. Orochimaru raised a finger, and a small white snake instantly darted out and steadily coiled around the test tube.

"You still love causing trouble."

You shrugged, sat down on the lab bench, crossed your legs, and wiggled your toes slightly. "Anyway, you're used to it."

Orochimaru stared at you for two seconds, then suddenly smiled meaningfully, "You have the scent of someone else's chakra on you."

You raise an eyebrow. "Oh? Whose?"

"Kakashi Hatake's."

You blinked, then smiled even more brightly, "No wonder it's a snake, its sense of smell is so keen."

Orochimaru snorted softly, didn't ask any further questions, and simply lowered his head to continue his research.

You leaned against the lab bench, your fingertips lightly tapping the surface, a deep meaning flashing in your eyes.

Kakashi is probably still thinking about that kiss, right?

You couldn't help but laugh out loud.

—That's really interesting.

Chapter 136 Internal Strife

The boundless darkness.

You know you're dreaming, but your body is unable to move, and even your breathing is being choked by some invisible force.

"Anagi, where are you?"

The man's voice was deep and magnetic, as if it came from a distant time and space, yet it was so close that it seemed to be whispering in his ear.

—That voice…

Your heart skipped a beat.

—It's Uchiha Madara.

But it's not the Ban you know, but someone from another world, more sinister, more obsessive, and with a kind of morbid possessiveness.

You want to speak, to question, but it feels like an invisible hand is gripping your throat tightly, and you can't utter a single sound.

A sudden burning pain shot through my collarbone; it was the curse mark left by the freak of this world.

Black lines spread across the skin, gleaming with an eerie dark red light, writhing like some kind of living thing.

"It doesn't matter……"

The man's voice drew closer, as if it were emerging step by step from the depths of darkness.

"I will personally take you home."

Which home should I go back to?

Your pupils suddenly contract, and an unprecedented feeling of suffocation sweeps over you, as if a cold hand is gripping your heart tightly, squeezing the air out of your lungs.

Struggling to breathe, the darkness grew heavier and heavier, almost threatening to swallow you whole—

Just as consciousness was about to fade, a golden light cleaved through the darkness like a sharp sword.

The oppressive feeling vanished instantly, and you gasped for breath, like a drowning person finally surfacing and slowly turning your head.

—Then I froze.

Another version of yourself is standing quietly not far away, watching you.

That is "you", yet it is not you.

The same black hair, the same eyes, but their gazes were cold and distant, as if separated by an insurmountable barrier.

You looked at each other, but neither of you spoke.

You suddenly open your eyes and find yourself tightly choking your own neck. When you let go, you gasp for breath, your robe soaked with cold sweat.
