You learn very quickly, while Obito learns very slowly.

Madara, in order to give you something to do, successfully placed the task of teaching Obito on your shoulders.

"Obito, concentrate and watch my moves!" you said with a serious expression.

Obito tried to keep up with your pace by widening his eyes, but he was always a beat behind.

"How could you be so stupid!" you couldn't help but yell, throwing the kunai in your hand at Obito.

Obito was so frightened that he quickly dodged, saying, "I've already tried my best!"

"Effort? Is this your effort?" You kick Obito.

Obito stumbled and fell to the ground, his old wounds aching from the force of the fall.

"Ouch!" Obito groaned.

You showed no pity whatsoever: "Get up and keep practicing!"

Thus, in the daily training, Obito's injuries never fully healed, largely due to your violent teaching methods.

In your free time, you also sit down to chat and share your stories.

One day, after training, Obito sat on the ground panting and said, "Nagi Uchiha, let me tell you about my village."

You leaned closer with interest, "Okay."

"I come from Konoha Village, where my comrades, Nohara Rin and Hatake Kakashi, are." Obito's eyes were filled with nostalgia.

"Do you really want to go back?" you asked, puzzled.

“Of course, that’s my home!” Obito said without hesitation.

"By the way, I've never seen you in the Uchiha clan's territory. Why did you join the war?" Obito asked in return.

You shook your head. "I have amnesia. I don't know anything."

Obito lowered his voice, afraid of being overheard, "Why are you here?"

"Because the person I love is here!"

"Someone you like?" Obito's mind raced. This cave only contained the old man and himself; you didn't seem like the type to like Black Zetsu or White Zetsu. Could it be...?

You can tell from Obito's expression that he's overthinking things. I immediately interrupted his thoughts with a punch, "I like Madara! What are you thinking!"

Hearing your words, Obito felt a strange sense of loss. So you don't like him? But this loss was quickly replaced by shock.

What! You like old men!

You punched him hard again, "Stop talking nonsense! What old man! You should call him Lord Ban!"

Obito clutched his head, which you had hit, and stammered, "Seriously?! You're only a year older than me, and you like an old man who's almost a hundred years old! Are you sure you're not crazy?"

"You're the one who's not right in the head! My head is way more normal than yours!" With that, you threw another punch.

Although Obito was injured, he was still able to barely dodge your attacks. "No, don't get so agitated, I didn't mean anything by it!"

"I think you just have a problem with me!" You don't want to listen to Obito at all; you just want to beat him up.

Seeing that things were going badly, Obito quickly shouted in the cave, "Murder! She's gone mad again!"

Upon hearing the commotion, the White Zetsu immediately pulled you apart.

"What's going on? Why are they fighting again?" a white-haired boy asked, puzzled.

You glared angrily at Obito, "He's talking nonsense!"

Obito looked aggrieved. "What did I do?"

Bai Jue shook his head helplessly, "You two are really a handful."

After the White Zetsu mediated, you calmed down for a while.

In the damp cave, the lingering warmth of the chakra had not yet dissipated when Obito Uchiha once again made the wrong hand seals.

"Obito, you're doing it wrong." You stand in the shadows, your kaleidoscope gleaming coldly in the dim light, like some inhuman creature lurking in the dark.

Obito scoffed, "I think I'm right!"

A dangerous smile suddenly appeared on your lips, and your pale fingertips gently caressed your cuffs, as if you were considering how much force to use.

"You dare talk back?"

Obito's hair stood on end instantly, and he instinctively took two steps back. "Don't hit me! Let's talk this out!"

—It's too late. "What are you talking about? Practice properly!"

A clean, decisive punch landed on Obito's head, making him wince in pain, but he dared not utter a sound. He rubbed his head, muttering under his breath as he reformed his hand seals, "Violent woman...crazy hag..."

Your ears twitched. "What are you saying?"

Obito froze, then frantically shook his head, "N-nothing!"

You sneered, crossed your arms haughtily, and looked down at him condescendingly, "Hmph, don't think I don't know you're complaining."

Obito was on the verge of tears, and could only continue practicing in frustration, inwardly cursing, "This guy is definitely a reincarnated demon! Where did the old man pick up such a monster?!"

Strangely enough, amidst these daily arguments and fights... his ninjutsu actually improved little by little.

Obito Uchiha had just completed a set of hand seals that were almost perfect, and his movements were so smooth that even he was a little surprised.

"Obito, you did a good job this time." Your voice suddenly came, still indifferent, but unusually carrying a hint of...affirmation?

Obito turned around abruptly, his eyes wide, as if he had heard something unbelievable.

"Really? Really?" His voice trembled slightly with surprise, like a cat that had been fed a treat.

You crossed your arms, glanced at him indifferently, and a barely perceptible smile appeared on your lips. "Of course it's true. Keep it up."

Obito instantly seemed to be injected with ten times the energy, and his whole being brightened up. "I will do my best!" he announced loudly, as if he could conquer the entire ninja world in the next second.

Unfortunately, his good fortune didn't last long. The next day, during the same training session and with the same hand seals, Obito made the same mistake again.

The air suddenly solidified.

"What's wrong with you? I just praised you yesterday, and you've already made a mistake today!"

Obito shrank back, deflated instantly like a punctured balloon.

He lowered his head, his fingers nervously twisting together, even his breathing became soft, for fear of further angering the unpredictable 'devil' before him.

"Speak!" you urged impatiently, your fingertips unconsciously tapping your arm as if counting down the days until his death.

"I...I will change..." Obito murmured softly, his voice barely audible.

You suddenly grabbed his ear, so hard that Obito's face contorted. "You've said that twenty-seven times. Do you need me to recite the time and place of every single time you made that mistake?"

Obito cried out in pain, tears welling in his eyes, "Ouch, ouch, ouch—! I'll really remember this time!"

An icicle hanging from the cave ceiling suddenly broke and landed right next to the soil-covered area.

"It seems even Bing couldn't stand it anymore."

Obito rubbed his bright red ears and suddenly noticed a suspicious twitch at the corner of your mouth as you turned around.

His eyes lit up, like a young animal discovering its prey's weakness. "Did you just laugh?"

"Are you blind?"

"It's obvious! Your ears are all red!"

The shadow on the rock wall suddenly sprang up, and the next second Obito was pressed against the rock wall, your knee against his back, your technique as skillful as binding prey, "Since you have excess energy, practice hand seals five hundred more times tonight."

"five hundred?!"

Obito suddenly fell silent halfway through his wailing because he saw the old wound that had slipped off your sleeve, those crisscrossing scars, exactly the same as the one you had when you first met him, grabbing his neck and yelling "trash" that night.

He suddenly stopped making a fuss, becoming as quiet as a cat with its claws retracted.

You raise an eyebrow at his sudden obedience, then release your grip. "...Four hundred."

"Yay!" Obito instantly revived, "You're the best—"

"Seven hundred if you keep talking nonsense."

The white zeolites who were spying outside the cave all shuddered.

Meanwhile, in the shadows, Madara Uchiha leaned on his scythe, silently watching the farce unfold, his lips twitching.

"These two brats... they're really something else."

Chapter 85 The Agreement

You are wiping your kunai, the cold light reflecting off your pale face, like a porcelain doll without warmth.

Suddenly, Obito sidled up to you and whispered mysteriously, "Nagi... I dreamt about Rin Nohara and Kakashi Hatake."

The cold glint of the kunai stopped. You turned your head, a subtle fluctuation flashing in your eyes. You put down your weapon, unusually without sarcasm or threat, and simply patted the stone beside you. "Sit."

Obito sat down next to you, flattered and surprised, like a rabbit cautiously approaching a wild beast.

"That must be because you miss them too much." Your voice was unusually soft and gentle.

Obito hugged his knees, his eyes slightly shining, "I really hope to see them again..."

The shadow on the stone wall flickered. You looked at the water droplets seeping from the cave ceiling and suddenly said, "There will be a chance."

You paused for a moment, then said, "After training, I'll take you to the cliff to watch the meteor shower."

"I've heard that wishes made when you see a meteor shower will come true." You said this legend, which you yourself didn't believe, as your fingertips unconsciously twirled the ends of your hair.

Obito suddenly fell silent, his heart pounding in his chest. He hurriedly wiped his glasses with his sleeve and stammered, "...Okay!"

A warm breeze suddenly blew into the gloomy cave.

"By the way," your tone changed abruptly, "how's your illusion magic coming along?"

"Can you please not bring up training when things are going well!" Obito bristled like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, his cheeks turning bright red, whether from anger or some other reason, it was hard to tell.

You tilt your head and stare at him, then suddenly reveal a smile as if you've discovered a new toy. "Finally, you're angry!"

Her cold fingers poked his burning face. "I thought you had no temper."

"Isn't that because you always threaten and hit me!" Obito slapped your hand away, but recoiled as if he had been electrocuted when he touched your fingertips.

"What? You want to fight?" Your voice suddenly dropped a few octaves, carrying a clear threat.

Perhaps it was the warmth from earlier that gave Obito courage, for he actually straightened his back and declared, "Let's fight!"

Before he could even finish speaking, you had vanished from the spot. Before Obito could even react, he felt a chill on the back of his neck as your fingers, like icy blades, pressed against his vitals.

"Too slow," you whispered in his ear, your breath colder than a living person's.

Obito suddenly turned around, trying to grab your wrist, but only managed to grasp air.

You have appeared on his other side, your long black hair drawing a graceful arc in the air.

"Is that all you've got?" Your voice came from all directions, echoing eerily in the cave. "You can't even touch the hem of my clothes."

Obito gritted his teeth and swiftly formed hand seals, unleashing "Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"

Blazing flames erupted, illuminating the entire cave, yet after the flames subsided, you remained standing unharmed, not even a trace of your clothing being scorched.

"You can't even distinguish genjutsu, yet you want to use ninjutsu against me?" You sneered, suddenly appearing in front of Obito and punching him in the stomach.

Obito grunted and bent over, but then stubbornly straightened up and lunged at you again.

This time he was smarter; he first used a kunai to cut his palm, using the pain to resist any possible illusion interference.

A hint of admiration flashed in your eyes, but your movements became even more swift.

Easily dodging Obito's attack, she swept her leg towards his lower body. Obito staggered back a few steps, almost falling, but eventually regained his balance.

"There's been progress," you commented, your voice still indifferent, but the corners of your mouth slightly upturned. "However, it's still too weak."

"Don't look down on me!" Obito roared and charged forward again.

The ensuing battle, if it can even be called a battle, was completely one-sided.

Obito tried his best, but he couldn't even touch your shadow. You hovered around him like a ghost, occasionally giving him a light but not heavy attack that would hurt him without actually harming him.

After an unknown amount of time, Obito lay panting on the ground, his clothes soaked with sweat.

You stand beside him, looking down at him, your long black hair falling down, obscuring half of your face.

"You've given up?"
