Henry really wanted to unleash his fist and smash a dog's head with one punch!

Henry took a few deep breaths and calmed himself down. After all, the other party had given him a lot of information about Krypton, which was something that could not be collected on Earth.

For the sake of this little benefit, I forgive their rudeness. Anyway, I tolerate most of the faults of earthlings, so why can't I tolerate some of the faults of aliens?

Henry was walking on the road when he was suddenly stopped by a car that cut in front of him.

The two men and the tiger stopped walking. Two men in black suits got out of the car and asked, "Is this Agent Barbara Morse?"

"Yes, sir, I'm Barbara Morse, a trainee agent of S.H.I.E.L.D." Barbara came forward and replied.

The two men in black suits pulled out their credentials bearing the SHIELD eagle emblem. "Hello, Agent Morse, we are agents from SHIELD's New Orleans branch. Under orders from our superiors, we are here to escort you to the Air Force base."

One of them looked at Katie and said, "Because one of the passengers is a full-grown tiger, we can't arrange for you to fly on a regular civilian airliner. To get you back to Los Angeles, you'll have to take a military aircraft. I think you understand that."

"Sure," Barbara nodded hurriedly, taking out her ID for verification.

Chapter 367 The Alien Who Keeps Biting

During the inspection, the girl nudged Henry with her elbow proudly. "You see, the benefits at SHIELD are pretty good. They just called and asked to send us back to the West Coast, and they arranged a plane to take us back directly."

Henry didn't say much. He just looked at the girl beside him, and then at the two SHIELD agents in front of him.

The vehicle sent by SHIELD to pick up Henry and others was a five-seater SUV.

For an average family of four, this car had a large capacity and was quite convenient for family outings. But for Henry and the others, with him, Barbara, and Katie, who weighed between 500 and 600 pounds, sitting in the back seat, it was a bit cramped.

In order to control the tabby cat and prevent it from scratching or biting other people because of discomfort, Henry had to separate Katie and Barbara and squeeze them in the middle.

It's a well-known fact that this is the hardest seat to sit in...

But with a big warming bag on his right and a sweet and soft girl on his left, Henry couldn't complain. The only problem was where were the two people driving the car going to take him?

"Sir, may I know where we are going now?"

"We're heading east. We'll cross into Mississippi and head to Keesler Air Force Base. It's a model air force base open to civilians, with no heavy air missions. There we'll board a military passenger and cargo plane and fly to the West Coast."

Henry, who was sitting in the middle, pressed Barbara's body slightly and glanced at the position of the sun outside the car window.

What the driver and the passenger said sounded fine, as long as the car was not heading north.

Barbara had initially been somewhat annoyed at Henry's impatience. Even if they ignored the two living people in the front seat, having a large tiger in the back seat was inconvenient.

But she wasn't someone whose mind was solely focused on sex. Noticing Henry's gaze, she also looked out the window. It wouldn't have been a big deal if she hadn't looked, but that one glance told her something was amiss.

If they were in the city or a small suburban town, it would be normal to have to take a detour and change direction. But they were already on the national highway, and on this old road system, going east and north were still different.

Barbara knew that Keesler Air Force Base was located on the Gulf of Mexico. Since they had started from the northern part of Louisiana, they should have headed south, if not east. Continuing north would have been the wrong way.

Will SHIELD send someone with poor directionality to drive the way?

Such a mess makes the highest-ranking secret intelligence unit in the official organization of the United States feel embarrassed.

Henry quietly reached into Barbara's pocket, not intending to hit that unspeakable part, but rather went around and pulled out the pistol from her waist.

Logically, this behavior was against the rules. However, out of trust, Barbara didn't stop Henry. Whether it was her impressions after the encounter or the observations in the report, this man wasn't an impulsive person.

Lowering the gun to the blind spot of the rearview mirror, Henry pretended to be nonchalant and asked, "Sirs, to Keesler Air Force Base, is this really the direction?"

"Yes, we arrived shortly. Please be patient. The passenger and cargo plane that will take you two is already waiting on the tarmac. As soon as you two board, it will take off immediately."

If they had said that their superiors had ordered them to take a detour and Henry wanted to act, Barbara would have stopped him. But such a flawed explanation couldn't convince even a novice trainee agent like Barbara.

In a flash, Henry raised his gun and shot the disguised agent in the passenger seat!

The driver even shook his car in fright.

Although Barbara and Katie were thrown off balance by the sudden movement, Henry sat firmly with the muzzle of his gun pressed to the driver's temple.

"Please pull over, sir." The sincere tone sounded sarcastic at this time.

The disguised agent, sprawled on the glove compartment, had revealed his true form as a Skrull. The green skin and pointed ears made him unmistakable.

The agent in the driver's seat refused to stop, yelling, "How could my companion become like that? What's going on?"

"Your acting is terrible. Don't act like that next time. It'll make me feel embarrassed. Please pull over and don't make me say it again." Henry warned the other party.

"Wait a minute, I don't know anything. Just check my identity."

Henry had no interest in arguing with an enemy who had repeatedly troubled him and had already torn his relationship with him. He simply fired a shot into the opponent's left arm!

Then he put the muzzle of the gun back to its original position and said in a deep voice: "You can try to overturn the car. But I tell you, if you do this, I won't be hurt at all.

"That just makes me angrier. And when I'm mad, the consequences are serious. So please cooperate and pull over. I can promise I won't kill you."

The agent in the driver's seat had a bitter face and, following Henry's instructions, pulled the car to the side of the road. He said, "You really misunderstood me."

When the car stopped, Henry pulled the handbrake and said, "Barbara, get out. And you, turn off the engine and get out too."

Henry watched the driver closely the entire time. Only after he got out of the car did he relax a little and leave the SUV where an alien had died.

The driver, who had been shot in the arm, leaned against the hood of the car, pressing his bleeding wound with a painful expression.

In fact, his performance made Barbara, who was watching, doubt whether Henry's judgment was correct and whether she had misunderstood him.

Henry, who had asked Katie to get out of the car, shoved the weapon back into Barbara's hands and said, "Keep an eye on him. Where's the cell phone you were using?"

Barbara felt a little relieved to have her service gun back in her hands.

The person killed by the shot just now was an alien, which was understandable. Barbara was very afraid that Henry would kill the wrong person. It had nothing to do with whether her gun was a murder weapon, but she just didn't want this man to make a mistake.

Pointing the gun at the unidentified SHIELD agent, Barbara took out her cell phone with her other hand and handed it over.

Henry, who picked up the phone, looked around, tried to figure it out, and finally said helplessly, "No signal."

"Isn't there anything here?" Barbara leaned over to look. There was nothing she could do in this situation. "Should we drive back?"

"No, I'll look inside the car." Henry walked directly to the passenger seat and opened the door. He pushed the Skrull's body back and rummaged through the passenger compartment, where he 'luckily' found a satellite phone.

In fact, he had already seen this thing through X-ray vision.

He pulled up the antenna, and since he didn't have to pay for the call himself, Henry made the call without any regrets.

Chapter 368 A Misunderstanding That Challenges the Bottom Line

After a while, the line was connected, and a soft, clear female voice came through. "This is Mr. Tony Stark. Where can I find you?"

"This is Henry Brown, please connect me to Mr. Stark. Just say I have something interesting and need his help."

"Please wait."

The call went to waiting music. A moment later, it was connected again. From the background noise, it sounded like a lively party was going on on the other end.

"If things aren't interesting, I'll go to Los Angeles tomorrow and kick your ass! As punishment for interrupting me while I'm picking up girls." Tony Stark said viciously on the phone.

"I have two aliens here, one dead and one alive. Are you interested?" Henry directly stated his bargaining chip.

"ET. I have a life-size model at home. I got it from Amblin. It's the one they used when they made the movie. You and I both know what it is. You'll clean your ass tomorrow and don't get my shoes dirty."

Henry smiled and said, "They're not the puppets you imagine. They're real aliens. But one of them has a lot of brain matter sprayed out and is dead.

"I know Stark Industries isn't involved in biotechnology. But are the organizations your uncles and aunts run interested in this? If they're not interested, I'll call the police.

"I have no problem with having the state troopers take these two aliens back and decide whether to bury them or put them in a museum for people to see. What do you think?"

"Fuck!" Tony cursed and asked, "Where are you?"

"Well, probably on Louisiana Highway 165, near Arkansas."

"Wait." Tony Stark hung up the phone rudely.

Henry certainly didn't feel bad about not saying goodbye. On the contrary, his arrogant personality was becoming more and more like the future Iron Man. Henry didn't know whether this was a good thing or a bad thing.

Instead, Barbara stared at Henry with a look of surprise. "Do you have a way to contact Tony Stark directly?"

"Haha, I'm the CEO of Stark Films after all. Contacting that big boss is no big deal. The real skill is to be able to order him around."

Looking at the man's smug face, Barbara didn't know whether to praise him or criticize him harshly.

Before Barbara could decide on her attitude, the satellite phone in Henry's hand rang again.

He had just made a call, so it certainly wasn't a scam. So Henry quickly answered the phone. A deep, old voice came from the line. "Henry Brown?"

"Yes, I am. May I ask who you are?"

"You don't need to know this. Remember my words, stay where you are and don't leave. A helicopter will arrive at your location to pick you up. All of you, including aliens and their corpses, will follow the helicopter back to the base. Do you understand?"

This persuasive voice made people obey the instructions involuntarily. Even Henry was no exception. "Yes, sir. Is it just the car we drove?"

"Throw it away, someone will recycle it."

"Ok."

The person on the other end didn't say anything else and just hung up the phone.

Seeing this, Barbara asked, "Are we not taking the car anymore?"

"They just contacted me and said they would send a helicopter to pick us up," Henry replied.

"Is there a base nearby?"

Henry smiled very fakely and said, "You shouldn't ask me, an ordinary person, this kind of question."

Barbara pouts and mutters, "That's right."

At this time, the agent who was being pointed at by the gun said, "I think there is a misunderstanding between us, both of you."

Henry had made up his mind not to waste time talking to these people.

He doesn't care what others say, soft words, harsh words, nonsense or harsh words. In the end, it's just a physical phenomenon of air vibration.

One has to be very self-deprecating and sensitive to be hurt by such weak words.

But Henry couldn't accept other people's behavior constantly challenging his limits! Especially when they said one thing in public and did another in private.

Henry's patience has been exhausted by the Skrulls' self-proclaimed cleverness.

But Barbara didn't share Henry's disappointment. On the one hand, she wasn't the target, and on the other, she still doubted the identity of the agent before her.

So Barbara asked, "What do you say we misunderstood?"

"General Talos sent us to make sure you two really left and wouldn't hinder our next move. But you killed one of our companions without even asking. How can you be considered an ally?"

"Damn it, you really are a Skrull!" Barbara didn't even bother to consider the doubt behind the words. She simply raised her gun higher and straighter, wanting to put the muzzle of the gun directly into the other person's forehead.

Henry laughed contemptuously and said, "Only those who like to lie will always worry about being lied to. I don't even bother to ask you what other lies you've told. You can explain them yourself when the time comes. Don't try to convince me."

It's said that the most effective way to deceive isn't to tell a lie, much less a mix of nine truths and one lie. It's to tell the whole truth but leave certain facts out, leaving the audience to figure things out for themselves.

General Talos's story to Carol Danvers omitted many facts, and this guy's story was not much better.

At the same time, Henry noticed a military helicopter approaching in the distance.

The helicopter was a UH-60, the renowned Black Hawk helicopter of the US military. As a medium-sized utility and attack helicopter, the Black Hawk was often used for tactical personnel transport. Being assigned to transport Henry and his men was no problem.

Is it possible to transport a tiger using only a helicopter? Henry couldn't help but think about this as he looked at Katie beside him.

The biggest problem with helicopters is noise. To achieve hovering and vertical takeoff and landing, the helicopter's engine drives the overhead wing. The wing structure not only controls the helicopter's movement but also provides buoyancy.

In contrast, propeller-driven aircraft typically rely on their wings for buoyancy, with the propellers providing propulsion. Therefore, the engine power output of the two aircraft differs significantly, and the noise levels produced are naturally different as well.

Animals are already uneasy in unfamiliar environments, and adding deafening noise to the mix can simply make them aggressive.

So, should I use Katie as an excuse to get rid of these troublesome people and things?

Looking at the clear and foolish eyes beside him, Henry could actually see a bit of kindness in his face. This made him laugh. It seemed that this tiger was ruined.

Chapter 369 Howling Commandos

Before long, the noise of the helicopter was loud enough for ordinary people to hear, which naturally attracted the attention of Barbara and the injured Skrull.

The Skrull, still in disguise, hadn't revealed his true form, and he gave up trying to persuade Barbara. He felt both fear and hope for further human support.

The grass-green military Black Hawk helicopter landed directly on the ground. The 50mm machine gun mounted next to the side door indicated that this helicopter was not a rescue helicopter.

And the few people who jumped out of the plane...you could tell at a glance that they were abnormal.

No one was wearing standard military uniforms, but rather various coats and windbreakers. Or, like those hunks in the gym who love to show off their muscles, they wore tight vests that revealed large areas of... hairy muscles.

This team was no stranger to Henry. It wasn't that Henry knew who they were, but he had seen them at Howard Stark's funeral.

After all, the white one-eyed dragon leading the group is quite impressive. However, the Nick Fury in this universe is still black, so who is this one-eyed dragon in front of us?
