My wife is Invincible East

Guanyin Bodhisattva possesses immense powers and wisdom, having long since attained the realm of Buddhahood. Legend has it that upon reaching such a state of abundance, Guanyin received a decree from Tathagata, the Buddha of Western Buddhism, commanding her to journey to the Western Heaven to be ordained as the Great Thunder Sound Bodhisattva and attain Buddhahood. However, on her way to the Western Heaven, she heard a cry for help. Guanyin Bodhisattva stopped to observe what was happening.
"Bodhisattva, the time for being canonized as a Buddha cannot be delayed. Let's hurry up and get on our way." The venerable who led the way urged.
Guanyin Bodhisattva observed the events unfolding on earth, shook her head, and said, "Someone down there is crying for help. Let's help them through this!" Then, she descended to the mortal realm. She saw a ferocious tiger pressing down on a child of seven or eight years old. The child's mother, nearby, cried out in terror. The child was instantly devoured by the tiger, dying instantly.
Without thinking too much, Guanyin Bodhisattva transformed herself into a hunter, drove away the tiger, and saved the child's life.
Because of this incident, Guanyin Bodhisattva delayed her time to become a Buddha. When she and the Venerable arrived at the Great Thunder Sound Temple in the Western Heaven, the Tathagata Buddha did not blame her. Instead, he praised her highly and asked Guanyin Bodhisattva a question: "Venerable Guanyin, after becoming a Buddha, you will no longer be able to hear worldly sounds. Do you still want to become a Buddha?"
Avalokitesvara refused to become a Buddha.
"This is one of the thirty-three forms of Avalokitesvara, the Fish-Basket Avalokitesvara." The Di Ting beast, using its magical powers to communicate, explained it to Zhu Moye. Feeling uneasy, he said, "Master, I'm afraid Avalokitesvara has come for you."
Come for me?
After getting rid of the incarnation of the Taoist Master Zhunti, Western Buddhism has now received the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara. Will this ever end?
Zhu Moye was deeply annoyed. Why did Western Buddhism keep coming to him? And when would it ever stop? The first time, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva came and forced him to be converted. If it weren't for Zhu Moye's strong luck, divine help, and the karmic order, he might have been converted to Buddhism, shaved head, and spent his life in seclusion. The second time, the shameless Zhunti Taoist also inexplicably appeared and said, "Friend Moye, you and my Buddhism are destined to be together. I have come to save you." If it weren't for his overconfidence and the help of Laojun, he might have followed the same fate as the Jiejiao disciples and been forcibly abducted to the Western Paradise.
The third time, Avalokitesvara, the leader of the four great Guanyins in Western Buddhism, also appeared. She transformed into a woman and deliberately blocked Zhu Moye on the way. If it were not for the Di Ting divine beast to remind him, he might have fallen into the deep pit set by Avalokitesvara and was saved without knowing what was happening.
What a risk!
Zhu Moye's eyes fell on the woman, a cold light flashed, but it disappeared in a flash. He smiled and said, "Sister, the saying that a full heart leads to full water is too profound. I am just an ordinary person and do not understand Zen. We will meet again if we are lucky. I will say goodbye now."
Chapter 523: Meeting Guanyin Bodhisattva Again
Zhu Moye said goodbye to the woman, and turned to leave with the Di Ting beast. After walking for dozens of meters, he disappeared into a lush forest and disappeared from the woman's sight, leaving no trace.
"A mere mortal. If the Human Emperor who caused such a disturbance in the underworld, rewritten the Book of Life and Death, and caused Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to regress and fall to the realm of Bodhisattva is also a mere mortal, then I'm afraid there will be no more capable people in the world." The woman shook her head and smiled. "Human Emperor Zhu Moye is unique. His scheming and cunning are immeasurable. As expected, as an emperor, no one is easy to deal with."
The woman transformed into a beautiful, gentle, and holy woman. A Buddha's light appeared, and an ethereal aura floated in the air. She was dressed in a long white dress, holding a fish basket. Her fair, dignified face was filled with a charming, yet slightly indifferent smile. "Amitabha, I am destined to be with you. I believe we will meet again soon."
As soon as he finished speaking, he flew away on a cloud.
The teahouse not far away blurred like ink dropped into clear water. Originally, the teahouse and all the people were transformed by the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara using the magic of "casting beans into soldiers" and "illusion." Therefore, when Avalokitesvara departed on a cloud of mist, he retracted his magic, and the teahouse and the stream of people passing through it naturally vanished, returning to their original state.
After Zhu Moye and Di Ting, one man and one beast, entered the woods, they used the Golden Light Technique to instantly dive into the earth and vanish. Abandoning their journey on the ground, the man and the beast burrowed into the ground, transforming into a streak of golden light to continue their journey.
After chasing for more than ten miles, the man and the beast emerged from the earth. They saw a lake, surrounded by vast tracts of woods. The scenery was beautiful and tranquil. Many wild animals were drinking by the lake. Cows and sheep made up the majority of the group. Smaller animals, such as rabbits, made up the minority.
Zhu Moye and the Di Ting beast rested for a while in the lake and captured a sheep for lunch. As they were sharpening their knives to kill the sheep's neck, someone stopped them, saying, "All things have spirits, big brother, you can't kill."
"Who are you? What does it have to do with you whether I kill or not?" Zhu Moye looked over and saw a pretty girl walking towards him by the lake. She pointed at the wild sheep and said with pity, "My dear brother, look at how miserable this sheep is. How could you be so cruel as to kill it and then eat its meat as food? How could you bear to do that? Why not just let it go? I have some juicy, sweet, crispy, and delicious raw pears here to exchange with you!"
After saying this, the girl lifted the cloth covering the bamboo basket and took out a large, fragrant raw pear. Two dimples appeared on her face as she smiled, "Brother, here you go! Just let it go! As the saying goes, all living things have spirits, and killing is a sin. Brother, imagine this from another perspective. If you were the sheep, and someone wanted to kill you, but no one came to save you, what would you feel? Pain? Helplessness? Or, say, someone caught the puppy beside you and wanted to make a pot of delicious meat, but no one came to save it. How sad would its fate be!"
"Woof woof." Upon hearing this, the Di Ting beast shrank its neck. A trace of vigilance flashed in its pair of golden and red eyes. It communicated with Zhu Moye in its mind, "Master, this is not good. This girl is transformed by Guanyin again."
"That bitch Guanyin again? Is she a ghost that intends to haunt me?!" Zhu Moye was very depressed when he heard the news. He and Guanyin had never met before, nor did they have any friendship, let alone raped her. Why did she haunt him like a ghost? He really didn't expect that Guanyin Bodhisattva would catch up with him so quickly, and once again changed her identity to haunt him. Zhu Moye had seen people who were persistent, but he had never seen such a persistent person. He said to himself, "This is really troublesome."
"Little sister, you said that all things have spirits." Knowing that this girl was the incarnation of Guanyin Bodhisattva, Zhu Moye had a plan in mind to deal with her. He began to take advantage of Guanyin Bodhisattva and pretended to be puzzled. "All things have spirits, so is a raw pear among all things? What's the difference between eating it and eating meat? Little sister, don't you think there is a huge contradiction between the two? It's like the grass under your feet right now. It also has spirits. Now, it's probably been crushed by your weight. Not only that, the bamboo basket in your hand is also made of woven bamboo. Bamboo also has spirits and life, but now you use its "corpse" to make a bamboo basket. Don't you think what you've done is too much? Too hypocritical?!"
"Brother, how can the two be compared?" The girl's breath hitched at the words. She hadn't expected him to make such a big deal about the idea that "all things are spiritual" and refute her. Now the girl was refuting what she had said before, and acknowledging that Zhu Moye's words were also wrong. For a moment, her face was shattered, and she felt embarrassed. She had no words to say, and no words could stand up.
"Why can't the two be compared?" Zhu Moye's eyes flashed with a hint of amusement. He shook his head deliberately and sighed, "Little sister, you are still too young. You don't have much life experience, and your words are too dreamy and a bit childish. In other words, little sister, your hair hasn't even grown out yet, and you haven't experienced joy, anger, sorrow, or happiness. Your life is incomplete."
"Come, sit down, brother will tell you a story." Zhu Moye sat on the ground and waved to the girl, motioning her to come over. "I will teach you how to be a good person. Don't always act with some unknown "purpose" in mind." Zhu Moye deliberately emphasized the word "purpose".
The girl was stunned, her jade feet didn't move at all, her brows furrowed as she thought to herself, "Could it be that this boy has guessed my identity? Or has that Di Ting divine beast seen through my identity and is teasing me?!"
However, the girl saw that Zhu Moye and the Di Ting beast were acting without hesitation, seemingly unaware of her identity. Zhu Moye's eyes held a certain sincerity, not a hint of pretense. She felt reassured and sat down beside him. At the same time, she thought of his pretentious words and felt a mixture of laughter and tears.
Chapter 524: Avalokitesvara, eat meat!
With a dignified air, he lectured the Bodhisattva Guanyin on the principles of life. Since time immemorial, Guanyin Bodhisattva has been enlightened, saving all living beings, overcoming all suffering, and educating the world. No one in the world has dared to be so presumptuous towards Guanyin Bodhisattva. Even the Bodhisattvas and Arhats of the Great Leiyin Temple are respectful to Guanyin Bodhisattva, and no one has ever dared to act so arrogantly in her presence. Throughout the ages, perhaps only Zhu Moye dared to act so arrogantly. Knowing Guanyin Bodhisattva's identity, he feigned ignorance, hoping to teach her the principles of life.
The pretty young woman sat beside Zhu Moye, secretly shaking her head and thinking, "Amitabha, this man has so many twisted ideas in his mind. He's so shameless, he's misinterpreted the idea that 'all things are spiritual', and he's really good at talking nonsense. He talks nonsense and doesn't play by the rules, leaving people completely off guard. No wonder he tricked Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva into giving him the Di Ting beast."
The graceful young woman, transformed by Guanyin Bodhisattva, glanced quietly at Zhu Moye. This man was actually the Ninth Human Emperor. Truly, one cannot judge a person by appearances, nor can one fathom the depths of the ocean. A Human Emperor should be a benevolent being, dedicated to educating the people. Yet, this man lacked any awareness of his status as a Human Emperor. Nevertheless, Guanyin Bodhisattva could not help but admire Zhu Moye's intelligence and great fortune.
Although the theories he proposed were all fallacies, they were irrefutable. Upon careful consideration, one could find that there was some truth hidden in the fallacies, so they could not really be considered fallacies.
Moreover, this person is blessed with good fortune and heaven's protection. While in the underworld, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva merely offered words of enlightenment, but was met with karmic retribution from heaven, infecting him with demons and causing his realm to decline, from "Buddha" to "Bodhisattva." Today, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva remains in seclusion, cultivating and remaining within.
Therefore, the Shura Sect in the Netherworld Blood Sea could not be converted.
Furthermore, later, the clone of the Sage Zhunti also left the Thirty-three Heavens and descended into the mortal world to search for Zhu Moye. However, the outcome was both intriguing and ironic. Zhu Moye effortlessly escaped the clone and departed. Later, someone manipulated the situation, obscuring the divine secrets. For a short period of time, the clone of the Sage Zhunti was unable to deduce Zhu Moye's whereabouts. Afterward, the Sage Zhunti considered this incident the greatest humiliation of his life.
The reason why Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva was able to know Zhu Moye's whereabouts was because Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva has been "observing" all things in the three realms. Coincidentally, Zhu Moye had cultivated great magical powers, causing strange phenomena in heaven and earth, affecting the three realms. This was when Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva "observed" him, and he left the Purple Bamboo Forest in the South China Sea and descended to the Kingdom of U-Tsang.
He wreaked havoc in the underworld, rewritten the Book of Life and Death, injured the Exorcist Emperor Zhong Kui, and killed the two Yin gods, Ox-Head and Horse-Face, in a disagreement. Throughout history, this person is the second person to do so. The first, of course, is the Great Sage Equaling Heaven, Sun Wukong.
A man and a monkey, who caused havoc in the underworld five hundred years ago and five hundred years later respectively, rewrote the Book of Life and Death, and violated the laws of heaven... However, the two men have several things in common, that is, their rebellious personalities, great luck, and being the protagonists of this immeasurable catastrophe.
But if we really compare the two, Zhu Moye is better than Sun Wukong.
In terms of luck, character, and status, Zhu Moye surpasses Sun Wukong. Even a sage cannot deduce Zhu Moye's past, present, and future. But a sage can certainly deduce Sun Wukong.
This boy is different from others. Compared with the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors and the Eight Emperors of Man, who are highly respected and have educated the world, Zhu Moye is simply a heretic, like a time bomb that can explode at any time.
There are fifty great ways, forty-nine of which are derived from heaven. If one of them is missing, there will be a big change!
The pretty girl took the opportunity to look at Zhu Moye, and sighed in her heart: "The will of heaven is unpredictable!" However, when she looked at Zhu Moye, he also carefully looked at the girl transformed by Guanyin Bodhisattva. She was pretty and charming, with natural beauty, which reminded him of a poem, "Without makeup, her eyebrows are light, and she is always suitable with light makeup and plain clothes." He didn't know what the true face of Guanyin Bodhisattva looked like.
The pretty girl also noticed Zhu Moye looking at her, and smiled kindly, "Brother, didn't you say you were going to tell me a story and teach me the principles of life? Why are you just staring blankly?"
"Little sister, you seem so impatient to have your big brother teach you how to be a good person, so let's get straight to the point!" Zhu Moye retracted his gaze, turned his head, and a playful look flickered in his eyes. "In a very cold winter, with heavy snow falling and the rivers frozen, a poisonous snake was frozen in a field. A passing farmer saw it and, being kind-hearted, couldn't bear it, so he took the snake in his arms and used his body temperature to warm it. However, when the snake gradually woke up, little sister, how do you think it would repay the farmer?"
“What a kind-hearted farmer.”
The pretty girl blinked, shook her head and said, "I don't know."
"In the end, the venomous snake was not only ungrateful, but turned its back on the farmer by biting him to death." Zhu Moye pinched the delicate girl's cheek, squeezing it hard. It was as smooth as cream. Then, he rubbed the girl's head. "Good intentions don't always go unrewarded. Do you understand this, little sister?"
"Brother, men and women should not touch each other."
The pretty girl dodged Zhu Moye's next move and rubbed her slightly red face. Although she kept the motto "Men and women should not touch each other," her expression remained calm and composed. Just as she was about to say something, the aroma of meat wafted through the air. Her expression suddenly changed, and something clicked in her heart. She looked over. The Di Ting beast had slaughtered the sheep at some point and was now roasting it diligently. Its claws kept stirring the firewood, as if it was deliberately imitating human movements, which were about halfway similar. However, it gave people an indescribable sense of humor.
"Little sister, come and have some freshly baked mutton." Zhu Moye came to the campfire, tore off a leg of lamb, wrapped it in leaves to block out the heat and oil, and placed it horizontally in front of the pretty girl, stuffing it into her hand. He said nonchalantly, "No, I should say, 'Great Master Guanyin, don't be polite. You've said so much and transformed yourself so many times, you must be hungry too."
The pretty girl's eyes fell on the burnt-yellow lamb leg in her hand, her face changed drastically, and she threw the lamb leg into the lake. Then, she heard Zhu Moye's next words, and she was suddenly shocked. She also knew that the other party was deliberately teasing her. She frowned deeply with anger, and asked, "Donor Moye, when did you discover me?"
Chapter 525 Hinayana and Mahayana Buddhism
The Bodhisattva Guanyin transformed herself, lifted the transformation spell, and revealed her true face. She turned into a woman with a beautiful face, gentle and holy. The Buddha's light appeared, and she was wearing a white long dress. She had an ethereal temperament and held a white jade bottle in her hand. She looked solemn, holy, and inviolable.
Guanyin Bodhisattva's beautiful eyes fell on Zhu Moye and she chanted a Buddhist mantra, "Amitabha, Fellow Daoist Moye truly possesses a pair of discerning eyes, truly admirable. However, there's one thing I'm unclear on. Could it be that you've known my identity for a long time and deliberately haven't revealed it, publicly stalling me while secretly ordering that beast, Di Ting, to slaughter the sheep and roast them, just to tease me?"
hiss!
Zhu Moye was captivated by the true face of Guanyin Bodhisattva and gasped. This woman had beautiful features, fair skin, and an extraordinary temperament. She was like a fairy from the nine heavens, unparalleled in the world, and rare. However, it was a pity that this woman was a Bodhisattva of Buddhism, oblivious to all emotions. In her eyes, "emotions," "love," "joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness" were no different from the principle of "form is emptiness, emptiness is form."
However, Zhu Moye still clearly remembered that the name of Guanyin Bodhisattva happened to be on the list of "Ultimate Mission", which means that Guanyin Bodhisattva was one of his mission targets and the person to be rescued.
Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, the head of the four great Bodhisattvas of Western Buddhism, has forgotten all emotions and desires, and his sea of wisdom has reached the realm of "Buddha". His strength is also at the quasi-saint level. The difficulty is definitely no less than saving Nuwa, one of the six saints in the heavens. It is truly an unprecedented challenge.
One of them is a Buddhist Bodhisattva, a quasi-saint, and the other is the spokesperson for the Way of Heaven, one of the Six Saints of the Heavens, Nuwa. How many people in the world can handle them? I'm afraid there are only a handful of people who can hurt them!
save?!
They should just save me. You want me, a commoner who just left the Novice City, to save one of the two ultimate gods in the world of "Journey to the West". This is extremely difficult and can only be viewed from afar and not touched.
However, things will work out when the time comes. There is no need to think too much about the future, just let it be!
He raised his head and took the opportunity to look at Guanyin Bodhisattva. A strange look flashed in his eyes. Naturally, he would not admit that he had seen through Guanyin Bodhisattva's identity a long time ago. Instead, he teased her secretly and said with a smile: "Little sister, you are joking. I just discovered it. If I had discovered it a long time ago, how could I dare to kill in front of you? Wouldn't that be harming you, little sister?"
"So that's how it is." Guanyin Bodhisattva didn't mind the name Zhu Moye called her. With solemnity and holiness, he clasped his hands together and said, "Amitabha."
"By the way, I wonder why you, little sister, aren't you copying books and chanting sutras in the Purple Bamboo Forest of the South China Sea, but have disguised yourself as a mortal to come looking for me?" Acting in full, Zhu Moye asked knowingly, "Do you have something to say to me? Are you planning to tell me, 'You have a connection with Western Buddhism, and I've come to help you,'"? I once met a charlatan who told me the same thing. Little sister, are you not going to come all the way here to say the same thing to me?!"
"A charlatan?" Upon hearing this, Guanyin Bodhisattva couldn't help but laugh. This boy was truly extraordinary. In his eyes, the Taoist Master Zhunti, one of the Six Saints of the Universe, was a charlatan. If this were to get out, who knows how many people would laugh. Guanyin Bodhisattva smiled. She certainly wouldn't say, "You have a connection with Western Buddhism, so I've come to help you." She shook her head and said, "Daoist Moye, you're joking."
After a pause, Bodhisattva Guanyin continued, "A new, immeasurable catastrophe is about to arrive, and the paradise will be gone. Fellow Daoist Moye is the new Human Emperor chosen by Heaven, and you have a mission to fulfill. And now demons are wreaking havoc on the four continents, and the people are suffering unspeakably. I wonder what plans Fellow Daoist Moye has, and how will he save the people of the world?"
"Finally getting to the point, your fox tail is showing." Zhu Moye said inwardly, but on the surface he remained calm and asked with a smile: "Infinite catastrophe? Little sister, please give me some guidance!"
"Amitabha." Bodhisattva Guanyin had a solemn face and a holy aura, neither sad nor happy. He clasped his hands together and said, "The Hinayana Buddhism prevalent in the world focuses on eliminating one's own troubles in this life and pursuing personal liberation. It cannot help the deceased ascend to heaven, and can only be worldly and bright, but it is not enough to save the masses. To truly save the masses, we must use the Mahayana Buddhism stored in the Great Thunder Sound Temple in the West. It can help the deceased ascend to heaven, save those in distress from suffering, cultivate the body of infinite life, achieve the state of no coming and no going, and eliminate unforeseen disasters. Only then can we save the masses. Fellow Daoist Moye, as the Human Emperor, it is your duty to save the masses..."
Zhu Moye overheard Guanyin Bodhisattva's incessant chatter, and he felt that the words were very familiar. It seemed to be the words that the Bodhisattva said to Tang Xuanzang, the reincarnation of Jin Chanzi, in the original "Journey to the West", guiding him to the beginning of his journey to the West to obtain the scriptures. At the same time, Zhu Moye finally understood the purpose of Guanyin Bodhisattva's visit. Was it nothing more than to convert him, to use the righteousness of the Emperor of Humanity to pressure him into converting to Buddhism and replacing Jin Chanzi in the journey to the Great Leiyin Temple in the West to obtain the scriptures?
Originally, Jin Chanzi was one of the Buddha's disciples, but because of a few words, he was banished to the Eastern Reincarnation by the Buddha. This is too much of a joke, right? Anyone with a discerning eye can see that the Buddha's intention is nothing more than finding an excuse to send Jin Chanzi down to the mortal world to carry out a mission.
After Jin Chanzi's reincarnation, he attained adulthood and his fame spread throughout the world. Guanyin Bodhisattva descended to earth to provide guidance. Meanwhile, Emperor Taizong of the Eastern Tang Dynasty, Li Shimin, was haunted by a vengeful dragon and summoned Tang Xuanzang, the reincarnation of Jin Chanzi, to perform a ritual to dispel the calamity. This unfolded a web of events, one fraught with peril and difficulty.
After Tang Sanzang explained the difference between Mahayana and Hinayana Buddhism to Emperor Li Shimin, he was deeply convinced and sent Tang Xuanzang to the Western Great Leiyin Temple to seek Buddhist scriptures. Along the way, they swept through all the demon tribes in the four continents. After obtaining the Mahayana teachings, the powerful demons and monsters were conquered by Buddhism, and Mahayana Buddhism was spread back to the Eastern Tang Dynasty.
Buddhism, aided by the good fortune of the Tang Dynasty, flourished, while Taoism declined. From that point on, the world of the living was free of powerful demons and monsters, ushering in a new era.
Chapter 526 Guanyin Little Nun
Tang Xuanzang was a Buddhist disciple in his previous life. After reincarnation, he became a person of the Tang Dynasty in the East. He became sworn brothers with Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin, and went to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures on behalf of the Tang Dynasty in the East, which means he also shared half of the fortune of the Tang Dynasty in the East.
Zhu Bajie, a student of the Emperor Donghua, was also the Marshal of the Heavenly Peng under the Jade Emperor in Heaven, in charge of the Milky Way. Later, after getting drunk and molesting the fairy Nichang, the Jade Emperor banished him to the mortal realm. He was mistakenly reborn as a pig, becoming neither human nor demon. Later, he became a disciple of Tang Xuanzang and joined him on his journey to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures.
This time, Zhu Bajie also took away part of Taoism's luck!
As for Monk Sha, he would always say, "Big Brother, Master was captured by a monster.", "Second Brother! Master was captured by a monster!", "Big Brother! Second Brother was captured by a monster!", "Big Brother! Master and Second Brother were both captured by a monster!", "Master, Big Brother is right.", "Big Brother, Second Brother is right."
Apart from this, he had no other achievements and was just a laborer. However, this laborer was one of the supporting characters in the immeasurable catastrophe of heaven and earth, and he had luck, so he also bore part of the luck.
Little White Dragon Ao Lie was the third son of Ao Run, the Dragon King of the West Sea. A son of a powerful official, he was also a complete scoundrel. Instead of having fun, he resorted to arson, setting fire to his own home. Arson wasn't a big deal; in the West Sea, were you afraid of the fire spreading? But the fire's momentum burned the pearl bestowed upon the temple by the Jade Emperor.
It was supposed to be a pearl bestowed by the Jade Emperor, so how could it be so fragile? After the incident, the little white dragon was terrified and pale, knowing that he had violated the laws of heaven and committed a capital crime. Panicked, the little white dragon Ao Lie informed his father, King Ao Run, but his father refused to acknowledge his relatives. Fortunately, the compassionate Guanyin Bodhisattva of the South China Sea intervened and saved the child.
Later, the dragon also became a disciple of Tang Xuanzang, and transformed into a white horse to carry Tang Xuanzang to the Western Paradise to obtain Buddhist scriptures. Western Buddhism then divided most of the dragon clan's luck. Later, Tang Xuanzang retrieved 35 true scriptures from the Great Leiyin Temple in the West. The great luck of each sect was united into one, and Buddhism has flourished ever since.
Now, Guanyin, this little Buddhist nun, has actually set her sights on going to the West to retrieve the Buddhist scriptures, wanting her to go to the West to retrieve the scriptures in Tang Xuanzang's place?! It must be said that this little nun Guanyin is quite scheming!
After saying so much nonsense, every other sentence she said was about saving all living beings, relieving suffering, and saving the people, but her actual purpose was nothing more than to save herself. She and the Taoist Zhunti are indeed from the same force. Although their methods are different, their uses are surprisingly similar.
Mahayana Buddhism, since you have Mahayana Buddhism in your Western Great Leiyin Temple, why don't you just share it with all sentient beings? Why do you insist on sending people on a long journey to obtain the scriptures? Sima's intentions are truly clear.
Zhu Moye immediately interrupted Guanyin Bodhisattva, a hint of playfulness flashed in his eyes, and he pretended not to understand what she meant. "Heaven is kind-hearted, so I would like to trouble you, little sister, to bestow the Mahayana Dharma Buddha upon me to help me save the people. This is immeasurable merit. On behalf of the people, I would like to thank you for your great benevolence and righteousness. If the people knew that you were so kind, they would surely be grateful. I wonder when you will send me the Mahayana Dharma. The immeasurable catastrophe is about to come, sister, this matter cannot be delayed any longer. Why don't you go back and prepare some Mahayana Dharma now, and send it to me another day when you are free!"
Zhu Moye sneered inwardly. "You're trying to trick me without even asking who I am. With your usual Buddhist tactics, it's hard to say who's leading whom by the nose." As soon as he finished speaking, without giving the little nun Guanyin Bodhisattva time to retort, he directly put a big hat on her. "Little sister, you can't go back on your promise! Otherwise, if this gets out, your reputation will be damaged. Of course, I know you care about the people, so you won't go back on your word. For this, I thank you on behalf of all the people in the world. Amitabha, no, I believe in the Infinite Heavenly Venerable!"
The Di Ting divine beast, hearing this, stared at Zhu Moye in amazement. This was the first time it had seen someone so disrespectful to Guanyin Bodhisattva, openly challenging her and calling her "little sister"? He even flattered her!
"Fellow Daoist Moye, you are truly eloquent." This was the first time since Guanyin Bodhisattva attained enlightenment that she had encountered such a difficult and stubborn character. He refused to budge. No matter how touching your words, he would always try to trip you up, set traps, and trick you into falling for them, then deliberately misinterpret your meaning with a multitude of twisted logic. No wonder Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva fell for him. She hadn't expected Zhu Moye to be so ruthless in his conduct, even denying her the chance to explain herself. Compared to the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, he was a complete heretic.
This man, wise as heaven and benevolent as a righteous man, employs circuitous tactics, seemingly ignorant, leading him to retreat step by step and fall into a disadvantageous position. In reality, he carefully plans his moves, maintaining the upper hand, then secretly sets traps, leaving you defenseless. He seizes the opportunity, crushing you with abandon, then pursues you and defeats you. Beyond his command, his character alone is as unyielding as a rock, and even the most ingenious methods would be incapable of converting him!
This person's luck is too strong, and he is protected by heaven. Forced conversion is not an option, as heaven will punish him, provoking inner demons and causing endless troubles. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is a living example of this painful lesson.
Guanyin Bodhisattva didn't want to follow in Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's footsteps, so she gave up the idea of forcing her to convert him. At the same time, she shook her head inwardly, her face solemn, her temperament holy and extraordinary. She clasped her hands together and said in an ethereal voice, "Amitabha, Daoist Fellow Moye is truly a master of tactics. I admire you."
"Little sister, isn't it strange to keep calling me 'Daoyou Moye'?" Zhu Moye's eyes fell on Guanyin Bodhisattva's face. There was a faint red mark on her fair skin, which was left by his previous teasing. Now, Zhu Moye recalled the faint lotus fragrance of Guanyin Bodhisattva and her smooth little face, and smiled, "I still prefer to hear you call me 'Big Brother'."
Chapter 527: Buddhism’s Nemesis
Little sister!
Big brother? !
Upon hearing this, Bodhisattva Guanyin's eyes twitched, and he felt helpless. He clasped his hands together, chanted a Buddhist name, shook his head, and said, "Amitabha, Fellow Daoist Moye, a name is just a title. I call you Big Brother, which is also a title. Why are you so obsessed with this matter?"
"So, I'm too persistent?" Zhu Moye suddenly realized, and the corners of his mouth rose slightly. He smiled and said, "But, little sister, I'm not a Buddhist. I don't act according to my own preferences. Please don't blame me, big brother."
"Daoyou Moye, you are joking." Guanyin Bodhisattva felt helpless. She corrected the other party's words again and again and warned the boy some truths, but the other party did not take it seriously at all.
This boy is too stubborn, I cannot convert him!
Even though Bodhisattva Guanyin has thousands of Buddhist teachings in his heart and can save billions of lives, he is helpless against Zhu Moye because the other party does not play by the rules and he is unable to detect his true intentions.
This boy is indeed one of the variables that escaped, and a key figure in this immeasurable catastrophe. His existence is a variable, and he is even more of a heretic, as if he was born to restrain Buddhism.
Fateful disaster?
The word "fate calamity" came to Guanyin Bodhisattva's mind. According to her understanding, there were also examples of "fate calamities" in Western Buddhism and prehistoric history. No matter how powerful a great being or golden immortal was, once they encountered a destined fate calamity, it meant the end of that person. Fate calamity could be a climate, an object, an environment, a demon, or even a person.
Even if they were weak and their magical powers weren't enough to threaten them, fate had already determined that their appearance was like encountering their nemesis, completely neutralizing them the moment they met. Is Zhu Moye the calamity of Western Buddhism? For a moment, Guanyin Bodhisattva fixed her gaze on Zhu Moye.
The fate of Western Buddhism? This child? It seemed, it seemed to be true. Everything seemed to confirm the answer in Guanyin Bodhisattva's heart, this fact. The fate of Buddhism will end?
When Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva met Zhu Moye, he got into trouble with cause and effect, and was haunted by inner demons. His realm fell very seriously. He is still in seclusion practicing, and no one knows when he will stabilize.
The clone of Zhunti Taoist met Zhu Moye, but Zhu Moye easily escaped in front of him. Later, when the clone of Zhunti Taoist was about to calculate the other party's direction, he found that the secret of heaven had been tampered with!
