"Seriously, if you had used your powers a second later, I might have screamed."

Kid Flash took off his mask and wiped away cold sweat. Even from a dozen meters away, he could feel the heat rising from below.

Zatanna didn't reply. With the help of magic, she floated to the nearest wall and began feeling around. After a few seconds, she switched to another wall and continued her search.

"What are you doing?" Robin asked, stepping closer to see if there was anything he could do to help.

"I'm trying to find the magic that supports this trap. This kind of continuous magic isn't something you do casually. The caster must have inscribed some kind of magic here."

"Have you found anything?"

"No," Zatanna shook her head. "Everything here is beyond my knowledge. I always thought the Zatara family's library was enough to deal with most situations in the world. It seems I underestimated the world."

"What do we do now?" Kid Flash asked anxiously. "We can't go back, can we? There's a big boss there that we can't handle."

"You don't have to worry about that," Zatanna said, clapping her hands to dust them off. "We can't go back now anyway. You didn't think this trap was just digging a deep hole in the floor, did you?"

"Uh, what else could it be?"

The staunch materialist said this. Zatanna didn't feel like indulging in superstition at this moment, but in order to make the others in the team understand, she patiently explained.

"That's impossible. How could the person setting the trap know where we would say the forbidden word? This is an application of space magic. Once the forbidden word is spoken, it will take effect near the intruder."

Robin immediately made an inference and said, "So, even though we seem to be only one floor away from Wotan, we're actually separated by an unknown distance, right?"

"Exactly," Zatanna snapped her fingers. "You're very smart, Captain. Maybe you have a talent for learning magic."

"Thank you for the compliment, but let's figure out how to get out of here first."

Robin wiped his sweat. The temperature here was really not suitable for ordinary people like him. If he stayed any longer, he felt he might faint from the heat or dehydration.

"If Zatanna can trigger the trap with words, can we also stop the magic with words?"

Wonder Girl offered her opinion. Seeing everyone looking at her, she didn't flinch but continued to explain.

"The Olympian gods always like to watch the performances of warriors, so they decide whether to bestow rewards or punishments."

"It might not work for a normal magic tower, but this is the Tower of Fate, so maybe we can try."

Zatanna stroked her chin, agreeing with Wonder Girl's opinion. She waved her hand, took out the key to the Tower of Fate, and shouted.

"I am Zatanna Zatara, daughter of Giovanni Zatara, heir to backwards magic. My companions and I have accepted the commission of Kent Nelson's companion, the Justice League, to help him escape the bonds of the Lord of Chaos."

The voice echoed in the narrow space. After a few seconds, the tunnel began to shake. Everyone looked down and realized that two stone slabs were slowly merging below, covering the scorching lava.

"It worked! Wonder Girl, you're a genius!"

Zatanna went over to Wonder Girl and hugged her, then manipulated magic to slowly lower everyone until they landed.

"I still prefer the feeling of my feet touching the ground," Kid Flash said excitedly, jumping in place, then running around the entire room like he had ADHD.

"Okay, be quiet," Robin glared at his friend. "We've only escaped danger temporarily, we haven't escaped from here yet."

"That's easy," Zatanna held up the key. "Now that we know the solution, everything is simple."

As she spoke, Zatanna stuck the key into the wall next to her, a move that Kid Flash didn't approve of.

"You don't think this wall has a keyhole, do you? I checked when I was running around this room just now. There's nothing but stone bricks and cracks all around."

Faced with the confident Wally, Zatanna revealed a mysterious smile.

"Is that so? Then let's wait and see."

During the conversation, the key in Zatanna's hand had already touched the wall. As Kid Flash's disdain turned into shock, the key smoothly pierced into the stone brick like a hot knife through butter.

Zatanna twisted it, and with a 'click' sound, the stone wall actually tilted slightly, like a door that had been unlocked.

"Don't speak so confidently next time, Science Kid," Zatanna joked, then reached out and pushed open the stone wall. A staircase leading upwards appeared in front of everyone.

"After you, everyone."

"Master is right, but this subordinate is just afraid that those little brats will put on the helmet and deal with you. After all, the cunning Nabu can exert great power as long as he has a vessel."

"Indeed," Klarion showed a disgusted expression, as if he had eaten a bug. He had always disdained Nabu's method of descending into the real universe.

Of course, only Wotan himself knew whether he really looked down on Nabu, or whether he was hiding his envy with disgust.

"Come on, old man, you can't be completely useless, can you?"

Klarion snapped his fingers at Kent, and a scarlet mist immediately surged out of the latter's body. The latter accidentally inhaled a little.

Mr. Kent's body began to tremble. When he opened his eyes again, the original emerald green eyes were mixed with a few traces of scarlet.

"Now, lead us the way, old man."
