#212 - Hellfire
"Hellfire!"
Daimon roared, veins popping on his forehead, as if he were mobilizing all his strength.
Celestial energy transformed into purple flames, soaring into the sky and opening a deep purple portal. Accompanied by the sound of air being torn apart, a massive black shadow crashed down.
"Boom!"
When the large object crashed down, Tony and Thor finally saw what it was: a massive, irregular rock. It was so huge, estimated to be about ten meters tall, and it completely crushed the residential building in front of Daimon.
Fury looked at the rock with lingering fear. Fortunately, S.H.I.E.L.D. agents had evacuated the citizens in the nearby block, otherwise there would have been heavy casualties.
Actually, Yang Le was also startled after reading Daimon's target in his mind. After scanning the entire building and finding no life energy, he authorized Daimon's summoning.
If there was still life in the building, Yang Le would not have approved it. However, Daimon's cruel behavior still made Yang Le feel uneasy, and it strengthened his desire to find a new proxy.
Yang Le, in his alien state, might not care about the lives and deaths of ordinary people, but Yang Le in his human state couldn't do such a thing right now.
Yang Le scanned the entire block again, and after finding not even a dog, he began searching for Kahn's whereabouts. As for Daimon, he would let the cosmic god version of himself watch over him.
Oh, right, he also had to tell Gwen and the others that the Inheritor incident was almost over.
Leaving Yang Le aside, there was another change on Daimon's side.
"Sir, the energy within that huge rock is constantly rising," Jarvis reported.
"I see it," Tony said with a solemn expression. The detection device on his armor displayed the data more directly, making Tony feel alarmed.
"This energy is already catching up to you!" Tony discussed with Thor, who was beside him.
"I think we need reinforcements!"
"Then let's be efficient," Thor replied, using Tony's words, the meaning self-evident.
"We need someone who understands magic to help. This energy is very strange, but it is undoubtedly a type of magic."
"Then I know who to call," Tony immediately understood. "I'll make a call."
"Hurry," Thor said with a grave expression. The key was that he didn't dare to attack rashly. The huge rock in front of him was like a nuclear bomb. With the energy it contained, if it exploded directly, New York might lose half of its area.
But not daring to attack that "powder keg" didn't mean Thor wouldn't dare to attack Daimon. In Thor's mind, generally, as long as the caster died, the magic would collapse.
As for Daimon, he was in a sorry state. His forehead was covered in fine sweat, his hair was soaked, and he was panting as if he had just experienced strenuous exercise. It seemed that the magic consumed a lot of his energy, so Thor couldn't let this opportunity pass.
Understanding the key, Thor flew towards Daimon wielding his war hammer.
"Huff... Huff..." Daimon gasped for breath. As he panted, he revealed his signature grin again. Since obtaining Celestial Energy, he had grown increasingly fond of smiling like this.
Compared to Thor and Tony, Daimon, who could use Celestial Energy and was a spellcaster, undoubtedly knew best about the magic he released. This magic had almost drained all of his Celestial Energy.
Looking at Thor rapidly approaching him, the energy-depleted Daimon didn't feel the slightest fear, because he knew Thor couldn't threaten him anymore.
"Be careful, Thor!"
Tony's urgent voice came, and before Thor could understand what was happening, he was sent flying, crashing through several tall buildings along the way.
"Cough cough, what the hell?" Thor pushed away the concrete blocks on his body and flew out of the high-rise building through the hole he had created.
When he flew out, he saw a terrifying thing. It was a stone giant burning with purple flames, transformed from the rock summoned by Daimon.
That's right, the prototype of this thing was the Hellfire from the Scourge, created by Yang Le based on the original Hellfire, plus some of his own whimsy. To put it bluntly, it was a stronger puppet, not much different from what Daimon had created with reverse magic before.
But the strength of the two was vastly different. The burning Celestial Energy flame was not just a cosmetic item from the game; it had more than just aesthetic use.
In order to familiarize himself with his abilities, Yang Le created a large batch of these things and placed them all in the new dimension he had opened up. Usually, they floated in the dimension like real stones.
Summoning them came at a high price; Daimon was almost completely drained of his Celestial Energy, but their strength was definitely worth it.
Hellfires were about ten meters tall when they awakened, and their height reached over twenty meters after revealing their true forms. When there was no caster to command them, they usually made protecting the caster their first priority, so as soon as it woke up, it attacked Thor, who was flying towards Daimon.
"Destroy everything in front of you, Hellfire!" Daimon shouted maniacally, spreading his arms.
The Hellfire obeyed, its flames burning even more intensely. It took a step forward, opened its mouth, and a condensed Celestial Energy ray was emitted from its mouth, targeting Thor.
"Heh!"

Thor sneered, raised his war hammer, and summoned lightning, striking the Celestial Energy ray.
After the two amazing energies collided, they exploded, and the scattered energy wreaked havoc on the buildings in front.
"The situation is still deteriorating. Quickly evacuate the people nearby," Tony contacted Nick Fury, but before the other party could answer, Tony hung up the phone.
"Jarvis, deploy all the armors. Combat types to the battlefield, support types to help evacuate residents."
"Understood, sir."
After Tony finished instructing, he bombarded the Hellfire, missiles, pulses, lasers, a variety of attacks. It was really unknown how this armor could hide so many weapons.
However, despite being made of stone, the Hellfire's defense was not low. Tony's full-power attacks could only knock off some debris.
Seemingly provoked by Tony, the Hellfire switched its target to the little "fly" beside it.
Raising its fist, the Hellfire roared and smashed towards Tony. However, Tony's maneuverability was too strong, and the relatively slow Hellfire couldn't hit him at all.
After several unsuccessful attacks, the Hellfire was hit a few times by Tony and Thor's counterattacks, and it realized that this wouldn't work.
There was no way, the intelligence of these simple magical creations was very limited. Without the caster's control, they were indeed very stupid.
But it wasn't too late to react now. The Hellfire roared, and its body began to change.
Under the gaze of Tony and Thor, the Hellfire's head separated from its body, its head floating in the air, and its body stepped on the ground.
"Looks like the BOSS is entering the second stage," Tony complained.
