Take the system to break into the dragon

Chapter 40: Chan Master Wuchao's Heart Sutra

Zen Master Wuchao

Level:92

Belong to: Buddhism

Another Buddhist quasi-sage.

There are so many quasi-sages in Buddhism!

No wonder Buddhism will flourish during this calamity.

The Third Buddha, Zen Master Wuchao, and Medicine Master Tathagata, a total of five Buddhas, are all quasi-sages.

There may be some latent cultivating Buddhas that Zhang Xiaofan doesn’t know about.

It's really a huge thing.

Now there are two quasi-sages, the Jade Emperor and the Queen Mother, in the sky.

There is only one quasi-sage in the Taoist sect, the incarnation of Saint Taiqing - Taishang Laojun, and Taishang Laojun is considered to be half of the heaven.

In today's era when saints are scarce, what force can compete with Buddhism?

Of course, Zen Master Wuchao may not really be a Buddhist at heart.

Medicine Master Tathagata has always been in the Oriental Pure Glaze World and generally does not come out.

In the past, the Buddha Ran Deng, the ancient Buddha, spent most of his time quietly cultivating.

The future Buddha, Maitreya Buddha, is at Donglai Temple in Dongsheng Shenzhou, and will not interfere casually with the affairs of Daleiyin Temple.

So most of the time, the current Buddha Tathagata Buddha is still the representative of Buddhism.

Of course, in this prehistoric world, there are many hidden powers with profound Taoism and powerful methods, but no one would casually provoke Buddhism.

But it was said that when Xuanzang saw Zen Master Wuchao, he immediately dismounted from his horse and paid homage.

But Zen Master Wuchao was a kind man. He supported Xuanzang and said, "Holy monks don't need to be polite."

Zhu Bajie knew that Zen Master Wuchao was powerful, so he stepped forward and saluted: "Old Zen Master, I bow to you."

Zen Master Wuchao said: "You are lucky. Being able to follow the holy monk will be your own benefit."

After Zen Master Wuchao greeted Sun Wukong, Xuanzang asked Zen Master Wuchao how far away was the Leiyin Temple in the West.

Zen Master Wuchao said: "Although the road is long, it doesn't matter. But on this road, there are many jackals, tigers, leopards, and many demonic obstacles. I have a volume of the Heart Sutra, with a total of fifty-four sentences and two hundred and sixty-six words. I read it

The demonic barrier disappears on its own.”

Xuanzang thanked him.

Zen Master Wuchao then recited the sutra: "Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, walking in the deep Prajnaparamita for a long time, saw that all the five aggregates are empty..."

Zhang Xiaofan didn't know why, but the Many Hearts Sutra was obviously the same as what he had seen before, but when it was recited by Zen Master Wuchao, it had a different charm.

However, it seems that Zen Master Wuchao only taught Xuanzang. Sun Wukong and Zhu Bajie both heard it in confusion, and Zhang Xiaofan only sensed some special rhythms, but did not understand the meaning.

There are a total of 260 words, and Zen Master Wuchao finished it in a short time.

Xuanzang closed his eyes and recited silently, but Zen Master Wuchao turned his head and looked at Zhang Xiaofan.

...

Back to three days ago, Zen Master Wuchao was practicing meditation. In the distance, there were bursts of Buddha light and faint fragrance, but Guanyin Bodhisattva had arrived.

"How did the Bodhisattva come here? Could it be that there are some omissions in these many Heart Sutras?" Zen Master Wuchao looked at Guanyin Bodhisattva and said with a smile.

Guanyin Bodhisattva put his palms together and said: "I have seen the Great Sun Tathagata. This poor monk is not Xuanzang, but one of Xuanzang's followers. There is something strange about it."

Zen Master Wuchao asked curiously: "How come Xuanzang still has a follower?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva said: "He was sent by the King of Tang to protect Xuanzang on his journey to the west. He was supposed to be eaten by three demons outside Gongzhou City, but for some reason he was safe and sound."

Since Zhang Xiaofan's true form uses the magical power of inverting yin and yang as an incarnation to cover up the heavenly secrets, even the Supreme Lord cannot figure out his origin. Naturally, Guanyin Bodhisattva does not know how Zhang Xiaofan, a "mortal follower", can live to this day.

Zen Master Wuchao said: "According to what the Bodhisattva said, what does the old monk need to do?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva said: "The journey to the west has been determined by the way of heaven.

Our Buddhist sect is of great importance. If you have one more follower, there will be many variables. I hope that the Tathagata Sun will try to stop him and not let him continue his journey to the west."

Zen Master Wuchao said: "This is interesting, the old monk wants to meet this follower and see what kind of magic he is?"

...

Suddenly, Zhang Xiaofan felt that the space around him changed. Xuanzang, Sun Wukong, and Zhu Bajie were all gone, leaving only Zen Master Wuchao standing opposite.

"This benefactor, the old monk has some good advice to give. I wonder if the benefactor can hear it?"

Zhang Xiaofan's thoughts came to his mind, and his expression remained unchanged as he said, "I wonder if the old Zen master has any advice, Zhang is all ears."

Zen Master Wuchao said: "The road to the west is quite difficult and dangerous. Xuanzang is protected by Buddhist dharma, and all evil will not invade. Wukong, the Eight Precepts each have their own abilities, and there should be no disasters. The donor is just a mortal, and there may be many obstacles ahead.

Dangerous."

Zhang Xiaofan didn't expect that a quasi-sage-level lobbyist would come. Was he trying to stop him from following him?

It's just that Zhang Xiaofan had his own plans and systematic tasks, but he had to move on, and said: "Thank you, the old Zen Master, for your advice. It's just that Zhang was ordered by the King of Tang to escort Master Xuanzang to the West, but he couldn't.

Give up halfway. If I really encounter something difficult, it will be my own fault."

Zen Master Wuchao said: "My Buddha is compassionate, but the old monk does not want to see the donor suffer. I see that the donor is strong and has extraordinary qualifications. I wonder if I am willing to follow the old monk to practice here? The journey to the west has its own conclusion, and the donor does not need it.

Too persistent."

Zhang Xiaofan shook his head and said: "Being entrusted by others is a matter of loyalty. What's more, the king of Tang treats me well, how can I let him down? I'm afraid I will let down the good intentions of the old Zen master."

While Zen Master Wuchao was chatting with Zhang Xiaofan, he was also figuring out his origins.

He just calculated over and over again, but with his cultivation in the quasi-sage realm, he couldn't figure out what was wrong.

And this is the biggest problem.

He is a quasi-sage, but he can't be considered a "mortal"?

I'm afraid that if you really calculate carefully, you can clearly calculate the past several lives of a mortal, right?

But now according to his calculation, Zhang Xiaofan was just an ordinary guard sent by the King of Tang, nothing special about him.

Looking back to past lives, it's all hazy and unclear.

Now that the great calamity is about to begin, the heavenly secret will not be so chaotic.

There is only one possibility, that someone might have deceived the secret of heaven for him.

Who is it?

What was originally a good deal communicated by many parties suddenly suddenly happened, so what’s the purpose?

Moreover, when Zhang Xiaofan saw the change in the surrounding space, he looked calm and answered fluently. How could he look like a mortal who had never seen the world?

As for the big sword in Zhang Xiaofan's hand, Zen Master Wuchao had figured it out clearly.

It is obviously the sword of General Yin outside Gongzhou City.

Moreover, this broadsword has recently been stained with the demon blood of Taiyi Golden Immortal.

Can a mortal hurt Taiyi Golden Immortal?

"Does the old Zen Master want to stay here?" Zhang Xiaofan looked at Zen Master Wuchao opposite him calmly, but he didn't panic at all.

If Taoist Lu Ya from the Conferred God Period were here, then Zhang Xiaofan would still have to be wary.

After all, Taoist Lu Ya is relatively free, so naturally he is not so particular about rules.

But now Taoist Lu Ya has entered Buddhism and has become Zen Master Wuchao. The journey to the west is now the top priority of Buddhism and cannot be taken lightly.

He couldn't blatantly do anything to Zhang Xiaofan in front of Xuanzang, Sun Wukong and others, right?

After all, Zhang Xiaofan is now one of the four members of the westbound team. If he takes action against Zhang Xiaofan, it would be equivalent to taking action against the westbound team.

That will increase the disaster.

But Zen Master Wuchao is not in the scope of the Nine-Nine-Eighty-One Dilemma at all.

within the perimeter.

If a disaster is added at will, will it lead to subsequent variables?

No one can guarantee it.

Nowadays, Zhang Xiaofan is barefoot, while Zen Master Wuchao and other Buddhists wear shoes.

He was so worried and couldn't figure out Zhang Xiaofan's origins, so he would not act rashly.

Sure enough, when Zen Master Wuchao heard this, he hurriedly said: "The donor misunderstood. The old monk has good intentions, but he has no intention of forcing him to stay. Whether the donor stays or not is entirely up to him."

Zhang Xiaofan looked around and said, "Then what is the meaning of the surrounding space?"

Zen Master Wuchao said: "It's just for the convenience of talking to the donor, the old monk used some small magical powers. If the donor wants to learn, the old monk can teach you."

Zhang Xiaofan frowned and said: "Could it be that the old Zen master is lying to me? I only have a handful of strength and no magic power to cultivate myself. How can I learn your magical powers?"

Zen Master Wuchao smiled and said: "In Taoism, my magical power is called insight across the wall, and in Buddhism, it is called clairvoyance. It can be practiced without the need for magical power."

Zhang Xiaofan said: "Then if I learn magical powers, can I be considered your disciple?"

Zen Master Wuchao shook his head and said, "It doesn't count."

Zhang Xiaofan asked again: "Do we need to stay here and not go west?"

Zen Master Wuchao continued to shake his head: "No need."

Zhang Xiaofan looked at Zen Master Wuchao, bowed, and said, "Thank you, old Zen Master. I won't learn from you."

Zen Master Wuchao asked curiously: "Then what do you want to learn?"

Zhang Xiaofan said: "I appreciate the kindness of the old Zen master. It's just that Zhang's strength is not yet able to understand it. If he learns something else, I'm afraid it will waste his energy, and the gain will outweigh the loss."

After saying this, Zhang Xiaofan stamped his foot on the ground.

Zen Master Wuchao put his palms together and said, "Amitabha, this old monk can't help the donor."

Then the scene changed. Xuanzang was still reciting the Heart Sutra with his eyes closed. Zhu Bajie stood aside with a rake. Only Sun Wukong seemed to be aware of it and glanced at Zhang Xiaofan imperceptibly.

In fact, even though Zhang Xiaofan and Zen Master Wuchao talked for a long time, in reality it only lasted a moment.

Zen Master Wuchao's supernatural power of seeing through walls has reached the level of perfection.

Zhang Xiaofan secretly said that it was very suspenseful.

Just one glance was able to lead him into a different space. He was at the peak of Taiyi Golden Immortal, but he didn't notice it at all.

If Zhang Xiaofan hadn't deliberately exposed his physical strength and told Zen Master Wuchao that he was a purely physical warrior, and if Sun Wukong and others were by his side, Zen Master Wuchao might not have known how long he would have been trapped.

Fortunately, this magical power is not known for its harm, but the light in his eyes that day could not hurt him.

If not, Zen Master Wuchao might be able to kill Zhang Xiaofan's incarnation with just one glance.

And if this incarnation really dies, it will turn into the original form of Liuhe Mirror, which will expose the problem of Zhang Xiaofan's interference in Journey to the West.

That would be really bad.

Fortunately, everything went well, and Zen Master Wuchao was not in trouble here. At most, he could be blocked for a moment, and it would not cause any harm to him.

However, next time the Buddhists know that Zhang Xiaofan is a physical practitioner, they will probably use the disaster points to eliminate this "variable".

After Xuanzang finished reciting the Duo Heart Sutra silently, he asked Zen Master Wuchao for advice on traveling to the west.

Zen Master Wuchao said a verse with a smile, then turned into golden light and returned to Wuchao.

There is a sentence in it: "The wild boar is carrying the burden, and the water monster is in front of it. The old stone monkey is there to harbor anger." Sun Wukong was annoyed.

Sun Wukong took out his golden cudgel and beat him wildly for a while. Thousands of golden lights hung down from the crow's nest, but he was not hurt at all.

In the end, we had no choice but to continue heading west.
