Stupid Odin

“What kind of monster is that?” Quetzalcoatl howled.

It was quite comical to hear a monster calling something else a monster. Only the Aztec gods couldn't laugh.

Looking around, the gods were fighting in pairs, but no one could see any advantage.

The suppression from the Jötunheimr world exceeded the limits of their imagination. Every movement felt like being stuck in thick paste, incredibly viscous.

What frustrated them even more was that every time they managed to have an Ek Chuah deity replenish their ranks, a brilliant rainbow would streak across the sky, and a new enemy god would appear with a group of subordinates, engaging the newcomers in battle.

Quetzalcoatl was determined to break through, but the Dust Serpent on the opposite side had mobility far beyond his imagination—too fast and too fierce. Once it locked onto him, there was nowhere to escape.

“Kalarra!” The great serpent charged wildly, easily crushing mountains and flattening lakes, yet somehow never colliding with its own gods, displaying an agility that belied its size.

Not only him, but Skayl and Laohu of the Mayan pantheon had also reached the same conclusion.

Skayl frowned: “Quetzalcoatl and the others are suppressed by a great serpent and a hellhound? That's not surprising. The opponent is a vast world, so it's normal for giant beasts to appear. What I'm worried about is that we haven't seen the opposing God-King yet.”

Laohu added with a hint of sarcasm: “Maybe we haven't even seen their War God yet.”

“War God?”

For most pantheons, the War God is the leading general of the pantheon, which is a very normal assumption.

Only Laohu quietly added: “The strongest isn't necessarily the War God.”

God-King K’um tightened his brow.

Fortunately, the Mayan pantheon was large and powerful, with plenty of cards to play.

If one were to pull the perspective up above the two worlds, looking down, they would be surprised to see that the so-called Aztec world was rapidly deforming, turning into the shape of a pea. It met the Jötunheimr world head-to-head and tail-to-tail at an extremely strange angle for a world. Roughly resembling a 'D' shape.

This time, the Jötunheimr world, which was quite bizarre in the eyes of the Maya, at least didn't grow any more roots. Instead, it sprouted lush branches and leaves.

These branches and leaves rudely plunged into the Aztec world, once again triggering tremors in the world.

Skayl was furious: “Is there no end to this thing?”

Laohu decisively suggested: “The core of their entire world is the World Tree. If we don't burn down the World Tree, they will endlessly erode our world. Use that!”

God-King K’um's eyes narrowed: “Are you sure?”

Laohu firmly replied: “I'm sure. You can see for yourself. But we don't have much time left.”

K’um expanded his divine sense and indeed saw that when those huge branches and leaves penetrated their world, they began to shed leaves.

This wasn't just a simple leaf fall; it was the cycle of life. These leaves, each the size of a boat, would quickly wither and decay after falling to the ground, completely merging into the soil. Soon, the entire land would become lush and vibrant.

K’um's face turned ashen.

This wasn't just the enemy supplying themselves; they were stealing the earth element of the world. If left unchecked, it would spread to the entire Aztec world.

The Jötunheimr world must have had some tricks up its sleeve to have grown to its current size.

K’um no longer hesitated and fiercely ordered: “Deploy the [Sun].”

Ugly jobs and dirty work, of course, were done by the Aztec gods; they were the black gloves of the Mayan gods. And they were happy to do this kind of dirty work.

In an instant, the slave god clusters, who had been at the forefront of the world preparing to fight, were in turmoil.

A strong man with a bronze head, sitting on a two-wheeled chariot pulled by rams, held an axe in his hand. Although the divine light on his body had dimmed and his divine armor was covered with cracks, his eyes were still sharp. Originally, he was gazing into the distance, preparing to fight, but suddenly, the commotion coming from the rear of the formation attracted his attention.

“What's going on?”

“Lord Perun, those Aztec gods who deserve to go to hell said they want to drag Lada and the boss for blood sacrifice.”

Slavic god of thunder and war, Perun, was immediately furious: “How dare they break their word?!”

He rushed over angrily, only to see the [Harmonious Twin Goddesses] bound tightly by several divine chains, being dragged away by several Aztec lesser gods.

Perun was furious, roaring: “You have violated the divine oath of the God Realm.”

The Aztec goddess of death and rebirth, Cihuacoatl, sneered: “Being sacrificed to the sun is their glory. Besides, dissipation and fall are not the end. They will become part of the great sun.”

Perun still wanted to argue, but a burst of intense pain from the deepest part of his soul struck him down.

Such a big and fierce man actually curled up into a ball like a shrimp from the pain. He didn't shed tears because the tears had already dried up. If he could, even at the cost of burning his divine soul to ashes, he would fight these madmen.

He and the other Slavic gods silently watched the Harmonious Twin Goddesses being dragged away. Then another divine messenger ran over, ordering them to attack.

Their faces were full of blankness, and only when they looked at each other could they inadvertently see the anger in each other's eyes.

Regardless of whether the news from Shiva was true or false, they had decided to rebel this time.

Everything was just waiting for that opportunity to arrive.

… …

The Aztec gods’ sacrifices were just that outrageous.

The bloody and brutal process, described in detail, would scare children.

This extreme tyranny had never stopped since the day the various gods surrendered. Starting from the believers of various pantheons, to the divine servants, to the divine messengers, to the lesser gods, and finally today, the butcher's knife had fallen on the true gods.

Some evil gods abandoned their beliefs and colluded with the Aztec gods, taking pleasure in gouging out the hearts of the surrendered gods.

Some gods also endured silently.

Before long, a blazing scarlet sun rose slowly from the pyramid in the center of the Aztec god realm. If it wasn't for a layer of eerie golden-red divine light enveloping it, the light and heat emitted by this terrifying sun would probably be enough to scorch everything visible to the naked eye into ashes.

The sun slowly flew out, surpassing the boundaries of the world, and arrived at another world.

This was not a figure of speech, but a fact.

The violent light and heat erupted the moment it left the Aztec world.

The rock layer of the opposing world's barrier was shattered into dust, and those lifelike giant branches and leaves instantly withered and decayed, turning into ashes. The second layer, containing a vast amount of wind elements, also failed to hold on for long.

The water element of the Jötunheimr world also came up to resist, but the water element, which was the size of an ocean, was also evaporated by the sun, only weakening its power by a third.

[Laohu] watched this scene excitedly: “Hahaha! I want to see how you withstand this move?!”
