It was miserable. I started taking a lot of medicines and wore an insulin pump. I had to adjust it before eating. I basically ate steamed buns, cucumbers, and eggs in the morning and evening, and then drank boiled water. At noon, I ate the rice set meal from the hospital that had no oil or salt, which basically consisted of fried celery. Cabbage vermicelli...I will eat whatever the nurse tells me to eat...Fortunately, I am not picky about what I eat...
