In Japan, July 15th is an important day. This day is the annual Ullamban Festival in Japan. It is a day for the people to be cautious in their lives and drive away evil spirits and bring blessings.

July 15th is also called Zhongyuan Festival in China. It is said that it is the day when the earth officials forgive sins. It is blessed with the heavenly officials on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month of the Shangyuan, and the water officials on the fifteenth day of the next lunar month of the next lunar month of the next lunar month of the next lunar month of the next lunar month of the next lunar month of the escape, and is also called Sanyuan Festival.

The Ullambana Festival is a Buddhist saying that originated in ancient India. It is said that there was a Venerable Maudgalyayana, the best in supernatural powers under Sakyamuni.

Because of his evil deeds, the mother of this Maudgalyayana fell into the realm of hungry ghosts after death and could not leave. The food turned into flames when it entered her mouth, and she was too hungry and suffering.

Venerable Maudgalyayana was respectful and filial to his mother. He wanted to use supernatural powers to help him, but could not do so, so he sought advice from Shakyamuni Buddha.

After hearing this, the Buddha explained a Ullambana Sutra to him, teaching him to repent on July 15th and offer sacrifices to the Three Jewels to save his mother.

After this scripture was spread to China, it was learned by Emperor Wu of Liang during the Southern Dynasties that Emperor Wu of Liang believed in Buddhism the most, so he set this day as a festival and repent and indulged himself.

Emperor Wu of Liang also compiled a Buddhist book for repentance, called Liang Huang Bao Guan. Every time around July 15th, Buddhists would hold a Ullambana Dharma Assembly to recite this Liang Huang Bao Guan Guan.

This custom has been used in this way. Until today, Buddhist temples hold Ullambana Dharma Assembly around July 15th to recite this treasure book.

This story tells us that if you have nothing to do, you will not talk to your leaders about the ones that are not, otherwise the one who is unlucky in the end will be yourself!

The Ullamban Festival in Japan was introduced to Japan along with Buddhism, but Buddhism was gradually assimilated by Shintoism in the process of integrating with the local culture of Japan.

Although the Ullamban Festival in Japan is still very grand, it has nothing to do with Buddhism. The Ullamban Festival is just a festival to remember our ancestors!

Unlike the prosperous and developed Kanto Tokyo metropolitan area, the Osaka metropolitan area in Kansai is not as prosperous as Tokyo.

But in terms of historical heritage and customs, the fast-paced Tokyo can never be compared with the ancient and elegant Osaka.

As the festival approaches, every household has ushered in a long-lost reunion. The seven-day basin vacation makes this festival, which should have been full of solemn atmosphere, more festive.

People on the street were wearing kimono and clogs, holding lanterns of various colors, and walking around the streets, which was very lively.

Various shrines and temples also hold their own special activities. Some witches wore witch suits, held Kagura bells in their hands, sometimes dancing Kagura dances, and sometimes dancing Ullamban dances.

There are also some people wearing loose black robes, ferocious masks on their faces, and dancing with their hands and feet to be used to drive away the tourists with fried beans.

The tourists on the side had happy smiles on their faces. While grabbing beans from their pockets and throwing them, they shouted happily, "Ghosts go out, come in!"

This was the traditional habit of exorcising evil spirits and blessings in ancient Japan. However, in ancient times, people stayed at home at night and threw it out the windows, but now they moved to the streets and alleys.

There are still a few days left before July 15, but people have already started their own celebrations. As the second most recent festival in Japan after New Year's Day, the festive atmosphere is particularly strong.

"Ghost goes out, blessing comes in!"

A couple, wearing simple but beautiful kimono, holding hands and carrying a small cloth pocket. Whenever they see people playing ghosts passing by, they will throw out the beans in their hands.

"Ghost goes out, blessing comes in!"

Another ghost passed by. The ghost was wearing a white kimono, with brown spots on the kimono, and his long hair was dispersed in messyness, and his feet were shaking forward.

When people suddenly saw this figure, their hearts trembled. No matter what, it was a holiday, so dressing up like this would be a bit too dedicated...

It seemed that there was no skin on its face. It raised its head, its eyes were wide open, with many whites in its eyes, and its dark eyeballs were concentrated on its lower eyelids.

When everyone sees these eyes, they can feel these eyes staring at themselves with resentment, especially those who are paired with each other!

"Ghost...Ghost goes out...Fujin...come in..."

A beautiful woman in a white kimono grabbed a handful of beans from her pocket and carefully threw them at the man's feet.

According to custom, she should throw it on Miss Ghost, but this woman really doesn't have the courage.

"Why are you wearing a white kimono..."

A hoarse voice sounded, and everyone felt discomfort of hiccups. When the woman in white heard the question, she resisted the discomfort, hugged her lover tightly, and replied timidly:

"This is... this is my dear gift to me..."

"A gift..."

Hearing this word, the "ghost" lady's head suddenly dropped, her head slid forward irregularly, and her fierce eyes stared at the couple.

"Is it a gift...a gift!"

A black shadow flashed, and the "ghost" lady rushed forward and disappeared in an instant. The couple opposite her had their heads hanging down one after another, and the smelly blood oozed out of their bodies gradually dyed the white kimono black, which was the color of blood clotting.

"A gift...a gift..."

The two of them scattered their carefully-decorated makeup and walked forward staggeringly. Other tourists who saw this scene fled in fear.

As people chased people, many people were not killed by evil spirits, but died in panic trampling. In less than two minutes, more than twenty people were killed or injured.

And in this case, there are twenty-six places in Osaka, Japan!

Two "ghost" ladies appeared in the Yamano, the shrine, the port, the riverside, and even the TV station building in Osaka.

One of them also broke into the live broadcast hall of the TV station and killed the popular singer Mie Nakayama who was performing on the stage in the live broadcast that countless people watched.

The people in front of the TV could not see the ghosts, but the strange and bloody scene of Mie Nakayama being dismembered out of thin air really scared countless people!

Such a situation cannot be treated as a program special effect no matter what!

Osaka instantly became a mess!

In Tianwang Temple, Wang Xuebin held his Polaroid tightly in his hand, and his smile surging with the crowd.

Tianwang Temple is the temple of Zhenlian Sect. At least it has not completely discarded all Buddhist things. The monks in the temple were originally doing rituals for salvation.

But due to the influence of the rumors, not only the tourists were scared, but some professional monks were also panicked. They threw away the magical instruments in their hands and squeezed out of the temple.

As for the Maori Kogoro, he has now been hit by the continuous bad news and collapsed. He really can't figure out why everything turned out like this in just a few days.

For him, it is no longer a question of whoever takes responsibility for separatism, but whether he can still walk out of this temple alive.

He had already seen that the old monk who was standing at the forefront of the monks had stopped chanting his scriptures, turned around, stared at him with a pair of triangular eyes, as if he was asking for an explanation!

Not far away from them, Wang Xuebin, who was holding Polaroid, took the photo just right, took out the photo and looked at the light, showing a satisfied smile.

After walking around for a day, this photo was his favorite. Compared to the mountains, rivers, flowers and plants, he was still more interested in people.

Especially the enemy with a bad face, with this photo, today's trip was not in vain!

"Ah~ Ullambana Festival!"

Wang Xuebin took the photo, put it away, and strode out the door. Along the way, no one could stop him.

It’s July 15th! Ghost Festival...How can there be no ghosts?

Is it called the Ghost Festival without ghosts?

Anyway, Wang Xuebin doesn’t think it counts!

Since there are no ghosts on Ghost Festival, let’s add some ghosts to them!

We are not without it, nor are we the stingy person!

Who told us Chinese to be honest?

No need to thank you! My name is Yan Shuangying!
