An entry appeared out of nowhere in front of Dui.

"What the hell?!"

Dewi was startled.

"What's the matter, Mr. Doyle?" Bilbo popped his head out of the kitchen.

"No...it's okay!" Dui found that the other party did not see the entry in front of him. After realizing it, he immediately shook his head.

Chapter 2 Becoming a Wizard

When Bilbo retreated back into the kitchen, Due heaved a sigh of relief and turned to look at the entry seriously.

"Hogwarts check-in system? But what does that have to do with Middle-earth? If it's the Hogwarts check-in system, shouldn't I have traveled to the Harry Potter world? How did I end up in Middle-earth?"

"Could it be that I'm wearing it wrong?"

Dui was full of doubts and confusion.

He tried to ask what the system did?

But the system has not responded at all, the entry is still floating in front of his eyes, waiting for him to make a decision.

Unable to get a response from the system, Dui could only tentatively ask, "Sign in?"

The entry flickered, the previous text disappeared, and then a new line of text appeared:

[Sign in successfully! Unlocked magic talent, congratulations on becoming a wizard! ]

The next moment, Dui felt as if some secret realm had been opened to his body. A surge of magical power surged out of his body and quickly spread to his limbs and bones.

"puff!"

I could vaguely hear an invisible barrier in my body being broken through.

The next second, the magic power in the body rushed out.

In an instant, Dui felt his body become light and floating as if it had no weight at all.

The tables, chairs, sofas, teapots and other items in the entire room all floated in the air!

"Oh my God!"

A shocked voice came from the kitchen door.

Bilbo Baggins stared at everything in front of him with wide eyes, and the plate in his hand fell to the ground in an instant.

As if awakened by Bilbo's movement, the floating objects suddenly stopped, and then seemed to lose their strength and fell to the ground.

The room was instantly in a mess.

Dui recovered from the magic explosion and looked at the scene he had caused with an apologetic look on his face.

"I'm so sorry, Mr. Baggins, I didn't mean it. This is all my fault!"

Bilbo barely recovered from the shock, and his eyes turned towards Dewi with a burning and admiring look.

"Mr. Doyle, you are actually a wizard!"

"This is amazing!"

"I didn't expect this myself." Dui complained silently in his heart.

Then the two of them spent the rest of the time cleaning up the mess.

Although Dui really wanted to use magic to restore everything around him.

But now he is just a Muggle wizard who has magic power but doesn't know how to use it.

So I can only clean it up bit by bit by myself.

After cleaning up, Bilbo made two more meals.

On the table,

Bilbo said a little embarrassedly, "I'm sorry, Mr. Doyle, I didn't prepare anything today, so this is all we can eat for now. I'll go to the village to buy some groceries tomorrow morning, and then I'll prepare the most sumptuous dinner we hobbits have ever had."

Noticing Bilbo's cautious attitude, Dewi smiled and shook his head, then said in a gentle and comforting tone:

"Bilbo, can I call you that? You don't have to be so reserved. You can just call me Doile. And I want to thank you for taking me in, so why can't we just get along as friends?"

Feeling Dewi's sincere attitude, Bilbo completely relaxed and a smile appeared on his face.

The kind-hearted Hobbit didn't think much about it and happily accepted Dee's friendship.

He happily stretched out his hand.

"Nice to meet you, Doyle, my friend!"

Dui smiled brightly and reached out to hold the other person's hand.

"I'm glad to meet you, too, Bilbo, my friend!"

The atmosphere in Bag End grew friendly and warm.

Dewi asked Bilbo about the Shire and other places.

Bilbo told Dewy everything he knew. Although he had never been out of the Shire and knew very little about the rest of the world, he loved reading travelogues, so he gave Dewy a lot of useful information.

For example, starting from the Shire, there is an east-west road to the east, passing Brandywine Bridge, Old Wood, Barrowdown, and reaching the human town of Bree. Further east is the Endless Moor, which leads directly to the Misty Mountains.

It is said that there is a north-south highway heading south from the town of Bree, which will bypass the Misty Mountains and eventually reach the southern human kingdom - Gondor.

And now it is the year 1340 of the Shire Calendar, which is the year 2940 of the Third Age of Middle-earth.

That was the year before Bilbo joined the Lonely Mountain Fellowship.

This means that soon the Hobbit will begin his thrilling adventure.

Before becoming a wizard, Dui's only thought was to survive.

After the sign-in system was implemented, he began to consider whether to join the Lonely Mountain Expedition.

After all, the expedition team will pass through different places along the way, and even territories inhabited by elves. If he wants to sign in at different places, joining the Lonely Mountain Expedition Team is a good choice.

Late at night, after saying goodnight to Bilbo.

Dui was lying on the bed which was a little too small for him, and the quilt could barely cover the lower half of his body.

But it is midsummer now, so there is no need to worry about catching a cold.

The moonlight shines through the round window, shining brightly and complementing the dim candlelight.

Listening to the chirping of crickets and frogs outside, Dui's uneasy heart gradually calmed down.

They come, the security,

Being caught off guard in this strange yet familiar world, he had no choice but to try his best to become stronger and live well.

Dui's mind went blank, and slowly, his consciousness became hazy, and he finally fell into a deep sleep.

On the second day,

Dui woke up very early.

He listened to the faint snoring from next door, bent down and tiptoed to the cylindrical living room, opened the round door and came out into the garden.

Facing the breeze and the fragrance of flowers, he finally took a deep breath.

The Hobbit's house is too low, and if you have to bend over all the time, even if you don't get back pain, you might get cervical spondylosis.

Bilbo's Bag End is located on the hill above Hobbiton.

From here, the entire Hobbiton scenery is clear at a glance.

Hobbiton has beautiful scenery, like a fairy tale town, with green grass, lush flowers, and even the trees and bushes are very low, as if to cater to the owner here.

Dui was so immersed in such beautiful scenery that he even had the urge to live here forever.

After enjoying the beautiful scenery, Dui began to think about the tasks for the next period of time.

Although he has become a wizard now, he does not have a magic wand that wizards rely on, nor has he learned any magic.

Compared with ordinary people, he is not much stronger.

Although as a former Harry Potter fan, he can recite spells such as "Wingardium Leviosa", "Expelliarmus", "Petrification", and even "Avada Kedavra".

But magic is not as simple as just reciting a spell to have an effect. You also need to understand magic theory, use a wand and casting gestures, and master the spells to successfully unleash the power of magic.

So even though Dui recited the spell until his lips were almost worn out, there was no reaction at all.

But Dui did not give up.

He firmly believed that even without a wand and without having learned any magic, as long as one had a strong will, magical effects could still be produced.

Didn’t you see that before Harry Potter even started school, he made the glass of the zoo disappear out of thin air, letting the python escape and locking his cousin Dudley inside?

Even Neville, who was once considered a dud by his family, could bounce up like a ball and fly a long distance when he encountered danger.

Although these are not subjective spellcasting behaviors, Dui believes that if he tries hard, he may be able to cast magic.

So Dui focused his attention on a stone in the garden and tried to concentrate his will to make it fly.

But after trying for a long time and his face turned red, the stone still didn't respond.

Abandoning the heavier stone, Dui simply chose a leaf as the object of practice.

At first, the leaves also did not react.

But as time passed, the leaf moved without wind, and under the influence of an invisible force, it swayed and slowly floated into the air.

Chapter 3 Magic Control

It worked!

Dui looked delighted.

As his attention was distracted, the spellcasting process was inevitably interrupted, and the leaves lost their support and fell to the ground again.

But Dui was not disappointed. He held his breath again and controlled the leaves to slowly fly up.

This time he persisted longer than the previous time. Under his control, the leaves kept flying in the air until they fell again due to his lack of concentration.

After trying several times in a row, and each time lasting longer than the last, Dui switched to a small stone that was heavier than a leaf.
