Malfoy stuttered, his tone filled with tears.

"I...I recognize you as the boss, can you...can you not kill me?" He couldn't hold back his tears after all, and they flowed from his red eyes, falling drop by drop on the carpet.

Only then did Lycos realize what had just happened.

He was originally experimenting with what kind of magic he could do. After reciting spells many times without success, he casually recited the Killing Curse, the first of the three unforgivable curses and the most evil.

As a result, the spell was successfully cast!

"I don't intend to kill you." Lycos took a deep breath and shook his head nonchalantly. "By the way, what did you say you were going to do? You wanted to teach me a lesson?"

"No! I...I didn't!" Malfoy shook his head like a rattle, "I really didn't know you could cast the Killing Curse!"

He came from a pure-blood family, had a Death Eater father, and his family also had many books on dark magic, so he knew much more about the Unforgivable Curses than other young wizards.

His father, Lucius Malfoy, the school director he often talked about, told him when he was very young that the Killing Curse was the most dangerous dark magic and could only be used by extremely powerful dark wizards.

Draco could never have imagined that a new freshman could cast such a forbidden magic!

Just now, the dazzling green beam of light was less than a finger's width away from Draco's hair. He had never felt so close to death!

"boom!"

Suddenly, the dormitory door, which was half-closed, was kicked open.

Two fat guys tried to squeeze in from outside the door, but they were too big to enter the dormitory together, so they were stuck at the door.

"Draco, I heard you crying. Did that Hayden bully you?"

"Don't worry, Draco, we'll be here to rescue you!"

Even when they were stuck in the door frame, Crabbe and Goyle put on an ironclad attitude, determined to rescue Draco from Lycos.

"Shut up, you two idiots!" Draco almost roared out this sentence, his voice so sharp that it broke.

He was really scared, fearing that the demon in front of him would be unhappy and cast another killing curse.

Crabbe and Goyle had never seen Malfoy so excited, and for a moment they forgot to speak.

The two plump bellies were still quietly stuck on the door frame, and the thick fat wrapped up a large piece of wall.

"Hayden, no, Boss Hayden, I really don't have any bad intentions." Draco turned to Lycos again and pleaded sincerely, "I've figured it out. I can't protect you, Boss. You should protect me!"

"Draco, why do you call him boss?" Crabbe couldn't bear it anymore and asked.

"Shut up!" Draco turned around and roared, "You two, get out of the door frame right now! From now on, Hayden is my boss, and my boss is your boss. Do you understand?"

"But..." Gore's little brain was a little confused.

"No buts, just do it!" Draco yelled.

"Okay, Draco!"

"No problem, Draco!"

Crabbe and Goyle subconsciously stood up straight, huddled together and stomped their feet heavily to show their determination.

"Boss!" They looked at Lycos together and shouted loudly.

Lycos looked at the strength of the two fat guys stomping their feet and felt the whole ground shake.

"I don't think I've agreed to you recognizing me as the boss yet..."

He pinched his eyebrows and felt a little headache.

What kind of thing is this? I scared my roommate with the Unforgivable Curse at the beginning of the school year, and then my three roommates begged me to be the boss.

Do I look like a gangster?

Oh, the Death Eaters are a dark society in the wizarding world, so that's all right...

Lycos looked towards the door and found Draco still squatting on the ground, looking at him hopefully.

He sighed and decided to deal with this problem first -

The secret that I can cast the killing curse cannot be revealed!

"Can you promise not to leak the secret?" His expression turned cold, and his left hand repeatedly stroked the wand in his hand. "If I find out that my secret has been leaked, I think you know the consequences."

"I promise I won't tell anyone!" Draco raised his hands above his head and promised loudly, "Really? I can't even ask you for magic advice on my own, so how could I leak it to anyone else?"

"Okay, I understand." Lycos nodded gently and stood up from the bed. "But if you want to recognize me as your boss, I need to see your sincerity first..."

He walked up to Draco and held out a hand to him.

"How about... paying some protection money first?"

……

Chapter 9 Dreaming of Voldemort

Lycos was satisfied.

It might be hard to say about other aspects, but when it comes to money, there are few students in the entire Hogwarts who have more pocket money than Draco.

The problem of lack of money was solved so easily. At least for the next period of time at Hogwarts, Lycos would not have to live so tightly.

But now another problem arises -

"So...how do we solve this dark mark?"

Lycos propped his chin on his index finger and looked at the wall on the side of the dormitory door in distress.

When the Killing Curse successfully hits a person or an animal, it acts on the soul level, instantly separating the soul from the body and causing death without any pain.

A body struck by the Killing Curse will show no outward injuries, nor any signs of violence.

However, if the Killing Curse hits an object other than a living target, the soul-level attack becomes more of a physical damage. The high temperature and strong impact of the spell may cause burning or even explosion.

Now, the wall that was hit by the killing curse was burned black, and the delicate green patterned wallpaper on the wall turned into carbon powder and scattered all over the ground.

With the walls in this condition, anyone could tell at a glance that someone had cast a spell in the dormitory, making it very difficult for Lycos to hide his secret...

"Maybe we can use a repair spell to fix it." Draco suggested.

"Very good, that's a good idea." Lycos turned his head and looked at him, "So do you know how to perform the repair spell?"

"Uh, no..." Draco paused.

Lycos shrugged, raised his wand, and said tentatively:

“Reparo.”

The wall before me was motionless.

"It seems I can't do it either." He spread out his hands and said to Draco.

Draco stared at Lycos with wide eyes, feeling as if his worldview had been shaken.

A wizard who can use the Unforgivable Curses can't actually use the Repairing Charm, which is relatively much simpler?

"Wow, did Hayden do that big black spot?" Crabbe finally squeezed out of the door frame and exclaimed as he leaned against the wall. "That's so cool! It would be great to keep it!"

"Show some respect, this is the boss!" Gore also came over.

In just a few minutes, he seemed to have accepted the fact that he had a new boss and immediately acted like a lackey.

Lycos held his forehead with his hand, thinking that it was a rare event in his life that a small Slytherin could give birth to these two talented people.

"Forget it, I don't count on you." He shook his head and decided to find a solution himself. "Goyle, if the prefect is still in the common room, ask him to help use the copying spell to copy the class schedule from the bulletin board."

"Remember, use parchment paper large enough to cover the black spot."

Lycos thought he had explained everything in detail, but when he turned around, he found Goyle standing there in a daze.

"Boss, what is a class schedule?" Gore asked solemnly.

"...Forget it, Draco, you should go." Lycos looked up at the sky, "I don't feel comfortable with the two of them going."

Draco was completely accustomed to the slowness of his two followers and was no longer surprised.

"You are worthy of being our boss. Why didn't I think of such a great idea?" He ignored Goyle and gave Lecos a thumbs up with a flattering look.

Then, Draco rushed out of the dormitory, intending to stop the prefect in the lounge before he went back to rest.

……

Five minutes later, Lycos clapped his hands and looked at the dormitory with satisfaction.

Crabbe and Goyle had already clumsily swept the black powder on the ground into the fireplace where the green flames were burning, and the surroundings were tidy.

A large class schedule was posted on the wall next to the door, completely covering up the previous black spots.

For a moment, Lecos's dormitory actually had the style of a model dormitory that loved learning.

"Okay, we're done!" Lycos waved to his three roommates, "Everyone, go to bed early. We have Charms class tomorrow morning."

After saying that, he extinguished the candle in the dormitory and lay down on his bed near the window first.

Goyle and Crabbe were very obedient and fell neatly onto their beds. Within two seconds, deafening snoring could be heard from the two beds near the door of the dormitory.

"Ahhhh—are you two pigs?"

Lycos was lying in bed when he heard Draco screaming. He couldn't bear it anymore and jumped out of bed, slapping his two followers to wake them up one by one.

"Remember, you two should wait until my brother and I fall asleep before going to bed!"

Lycos turned over and lay on his side, glanced at Crabbe and Goyle who were standing at the door like gatekeepers with a wronged look on their faces, chuckled softly, and turned to look out the dark window.

Outside the window of the Slytherin dormitory was not fresh air, but the deep waters of the Black Lake.

From time to time, glowing underwater creatures would swim past the window, illuminating the shimmering waters...

Lycos looked at the scene in the lake and unconsciously closed his dark golden eyes.

……

"Little guy, I find that you are very similar to me when I was young. Not only do you have this ambitious personality, but you also look almost as handsome as I was back then..."

In a daze, Lycos seemed to hear a hoarse voice.

I seem to have heard this before... Oh, it was in Quirrell's office... Voldemort really left such a deep impression on me that I even dream about him?

He was drowsy and vaguely felt that he was dreaming.

"You've helped me a lot, little guy. Tell me what you want..." The hoarse voice sounded again.
