"Over an hour?!" Crabbe shouted.
"Yeah, do you have any questions?" Lycos chuckled. "Is there something urgent going on with you two?"
"No, no..." Goyle said quickly, "We just don't want to be exposed to the wind anymore. We want to see if we can go back with you... Besides, isn't there a monster in the secret room that might attack?"
The smile on Lycos's face grew wider.
Goyle didn't usually talk like this. He and Crabbe usually just agreed with others and rarely expressed their opinions on their own initiative, let alone asking to follow them back to the common room like today.
If things go as expected, the two fat boys should have been replaced by two little wizards from Gryffindor - Harry Potter and Ron Weasley.
The three saviors finally brewed the Polyjuice Potion, hoping to get information about the Chamber of Secrets from Draco... Unfortunately, they didn't know that the person who knew the Chamber of Secrets best was right in front of them.
"Then follow me." Lycos shrugged.
On the one hand, he wanted to tease the two guys who still didn't know they had been exposed; on the other hand, he really needed to take this opportunity to reveal some information about the Chamber of Secrets to Harry, so that he would have the opportunity to use Parseltongue to open the door of the Chamber of Secrets in the future.
Walking up the spiral staircase leading to the common room, the candlelight around was very dim, and the green candles decorated for Christmas did not emit much bright light, making it look eerie.
"Gore, why are you wearing glasses?" Lycos suddenly asked with a malicious tone.
"Glasses?" Gore was stunned.
He hurriedly touched his face and found it empty. He turned his gaze to Lycos in a daze.
"No...no?" Goyle said uncertainly.
"Indeed, no, he doesn't have any glasses on his face." Crabbe glanced at Goyle's face and then confirmed it.
The two of them are a bit confusing.
I had already checked my clothes before, so why was I still asked this question?
"Oh, maybe I saw it wrong." Lycos curled his lips.
What a pity, I didn't succeed, he thought.
"Crabbe, your hair seems a little red." Cassandra suddenly pointed at Crabbe's hair and said with interest, "Is it the reflection?"
Crabbe's chubby body suddenly became stiff, and he immediately raised his hands to cover his hair, without any sign of Crabbe's original arm stiffness.
"But... maybe," he said timidly, "it's Christmas, so a few red lights around are pretty normal."
Cassandra chuckled and gave Lykos a provocative look, as if to say that her jokes were more convincing than his.
Lycos shook his head helplessly and continued to walk down the stairs with "Crabbe and Goyle".
Several people walked all the way to the end of the spiral staircase, which was now the dungeon level of Hogwarts Castle.
"Crabbe and Goyle" seemed to have never been here before. They couldn't help but look around curiously, taking in the dark and damp atmosphere of the dungeon, and seemed to be comparing Gryffindor Tower with this place in their minds.
Lycos stopped beside a bare, wet stone wall.
"Do you remember what the new password is?" he asked the two fat boys.
"Um..." Harry and Ron hesitated.
So, Lycos and Cassandra had no intention of saying the new password, and Harry and Ron, who were dressed as Crabbe and Goyle, had no idea what the password was, and the atmosphere at the scene suddenly became quiet.
"Clap."
The sound of water drops falling to the ground broke the silence.
Lycos glanced over curiously and found that Crabbe's back was already soaked with cold sweat, and a drop of sweat was dripping onto the ground.
"Forget it, I didn't expect you to remember the password." Lycos chuckled and retracted his gaze.
It's enough to tease these two people to this extent. I'm afraid that if I tease them a few more times, these two guys will give up and stop asking for information about the secret room.
"Cassandra, do you know the password?" Lycos turned his head and looked at the little blonde witch.
"Why don't you tell me yourself?" Cassandra glanced at him and casually walked to the wall.
"Pureblood."
Cassandra said softly.
A lifelike stone snake suddenly crawled up from the base of the wall. As the snake arched its huge body, a stone door suddenly emerged, and the snake's body bent into the door frame of the stone door, fixed on the wall.
Lycos and Cassandra strode in first, followed closely by Harry and Ron, who were dressed as two fat guys.
The Slytherin common room was a long, low basement with walls and ceiling made of rough stone. Round, green lights were hung from the ceiling on chains.
Beneath an ornately carved mantelpiece, a green fire crackled, illuminating the few Slytherins sitting on the carved chairs surrounding it.
"Please sit anywhere." Lycos patted one of the clustered seats as if he was entertaining a guest.
Unlike the strictly managed Hufflepuff common room, the common rooms of the other three colleges have been visited by students from other colleges. The Slytherins, who focus on interests and vanity, often use the common room as a reception room.
So Lecos thought that it was no big deal to let in two people who were known to be Gryffindor wizards.
Lycos sat on a large seat with Cassandra, facing the direction where Crabbe and Goyle were sitting.
"Tell me, what's wrong with you two today?" Lycos asked casually, leaning back on the sofa. "You've been acting strangely all night. Could it be that because Draco is not here, you want to observe a moment of silence in his memory?"
"I...I didn't." Ron retorted weakly.
"We're just a little worried about the Chamber of Secrets." Harry thought to himself and whispered to Lycos, "You know Draco so well, you must know who is manipulating all this about the Chamber of Secrets..."
Lycos stared at him with a very strange expression.
"But you are also familiar with Draco, don't you know who is manipulating all this?" he asked.
The way Harry Potter spoke, it was almost as if the brand itself wasn't Goyle.
"Ah, I just made a slip of the tongue," Harry quickly said. "I mean, is it true that the heir of Slytherin won't attack pure-bloods?"
"Of course." Lycos nodded. "If the Heir of Slytherin were to attack the purebloods, he would be violating his very identity as the heir to Slytherin's legacy and jeopardizing his base."
At least that's what Lycos, the person who opened the secret room, thought - if he wanted to make the attack more realistic, he had to identify a suitable character so that those who heard the rumor would believe it more.
Moreover, something like the Chamber of Secrets, involving the four Hogwarts giants, was already a hot topic and spread quickly, so it was even more necessary to find a more reasonable way to make people more aware of it...
Just then, a voice sounded from the door of the common room.
"What are you doing?"
Lycos looked up and saw that Draco had returned, walking from the door to where they were sitting.
"Crabbe and Goyle are curious about the Chamber of Secrets. Tell them about it," he said. "They were just worried they might be attacked."
"They still need to worry about the Chamber of Secrets?" Draco asked in surprise.
"Forget it, it's normal to worry. You've come to the right person to ask me." He waved his hand and continued, "Let me tell you, my father told me some inside information before. I am definitely the person who knows the most about the secret room in the whole Hogwarts!"
The corners of Lycos' mouth twitched.
Never mind. It’s not the first time I’ve been surprised by this sentence. I’m used to it.
"It's a shame my father wouldn't tell me the details of the last time the Chamber of Secrets was opened. Of course, that was fifty years ago, so he wasn't even born yet, but he knows everything."
"He said it was all confidential, and that if I knew too much, it would look suspicious. But I do know one thing: the last time the Chamber of Secrets was opened, a… Muggle-born died."
Draco continued.
"So - I bet a Muggle-born wizard will have to pay the price this time too, it's just a matter of time... I actually hope it's that annoying Granger." He laughed gleefully, "That way we'll have one less top student in the grade... and professors won't have to use Hermione's name as a case study in the future."
At the sound of Hermione's name, Ron clenched his large fist around Crabbe's sandbag.
Lycos stared at the fist, feeling that Ron, disguised as Crabbe, might punch Draco at any moment, and then their use of Polyjuice Potion would be completely exposed...
At the same time, Harry seemed to have noticed Ron's emotional problems and quickly glared at Ron with a warning look.
"Then do you know whether the person who opened the Chamber of Secrets last time was caught?" asked Harry, who was dressed as Goyle.
"Oh, I don't know... But whoever it was, he was expelled from Hogwarts," Malfoy said. "If nothing unexpected happens, he's probably still in Azkaban."
"Azkaban?" Harry asked, puzzled.
"Azkaban—that's the wizard prison, Goyle." Draco frowned and looked at Harry suspiciously. "To be honest, if you continue to be so slow, I'm going to doubt whether you are really yourself."
Draco's words frightened Harry.
But then he realized that Draco was probably just talking. Crabbe and Goyle were probably just that slow, and he was used to it.
Lycos also looked at Draco and rubbed his eyebrows helplessly.
He knew better than Harry that Crabbe and Goyle were not actually that slow-witted. It was just that Draco had always treated the two fat guys as his followers and never cared much about them, so he did not realize their abnormality.
"You can take some time to ask Hagrid. He has a lot to say about this matter." Lycos sighed and added casually.
After all, Hagrid was framed by Tom Riddle as the murderer who released the monster and was expelled from Hogwarts. He was also a party to this incident.
"Why ask that big idiot?" Draco asked in confusion. "What could he know?"
"It's okay, I was just saying it casually." Lycos smiled softly.
In order to reach a deal with Dumbledore and get the Savior involved in the Chamber of Secrets, Lycos went to great lengths.
"Listen to me, there's no point in looking for that big idiot." Draco instantly forgot what Lycos had said and continued to speak carelessly, "My father told me before the start of this semester not to show up in public and to keep the Heir of Slytherin on the move..."
Having said that, Draco's expression became serious again.
"But seriously, those goblins are really abominable," he said coldly. "I wanted to write to my father to ask what he would do next, but he was captured by those goblins..."
"I bet the goblins know that my father knows about the secret chamber and want to use it to disrupt the situation in the wizarding world!"

Chapter 156: Duel Club Arrives Late
"Fairy?"
Harry and Ron did not follow Dumbledore to capture the mean Misserbo. It was the first time they heard of goblins.
"What happened to the goblin?"
"Didn't I tell you?" Draco was even more confused. "Or can you even forget something like this?"
The two little Gryffindor wizards dressed as Crabbe and Goyle immediately shut their mouths, not daring to say anything that might easily reveal their identities.
"Forget it, I didn't expect you to remember anything." Draco shrugged. "With the brains of the two of you, it's Merlin's blessing that you haven't been expelled from Hogwarts..."
At this moment, Lycos stared at "Crabbe and Goyle" and his eyes suddenly moved.
He saw that Crabbe's hair was turning red and his nose was slowly growing longer; and a shallow scar in the shape of a lightning bolt was slowly emerging on Goyle's forehead.
