She untied the letter from the owl's feet, looked at it, and handed it to Harry. "This is for you."
She examined the owl, then cast a few spells and a potion on it, and it perked up.
Harry finished reading the letter. "It's from Ron. He invites me to stay at the Weasleys' for a few days."
He looked at Caroline questioningly.
Caroline nodded. "Go if you want. I won't interfere with my students' relationships."
After hearing her agreement, Harry asked, "What about these courses?"
"You can make up for the lessons on your own. I will ask Yin Li to check after school starts."
He knew that Caroline would not let him rest for a single day.
"Okay." Harry nodded.
He turned to look at Yin Li, "Ron also invited you."
Yin Li shook her head. "I still have to research potions. I really don't have time."
Harry heard him refuse, but didn't force it.
Yin Li and Caroline would spend almost all their free time in the potions room in the basement.
While Caroline was teaching Harry how to make potions, Yin Li was studying the potions on the side.
He watched Yin Li cook pot after pot and mark line after line in his notebook.
Harry was also infected by Yin Li and devoted himself wholeheartedly to making the potion.
Harry was a quick learner and Caroline taught him enthusiastically.
They sometimes forgot to eat, so much so that Mr. Cavendish himself would knock on the door of the Potions Room to tell them to come.
Harry sincerely hoped that their research would be successful.
Harry used the Cavendish fireplace to get to the Weasleys, but Harry had never seen Caroline use a fireplace.
He followed Caroline's orders suspiciously and took a handful of Floo powder.
Caroline held up the box of Floo powder. "Just throw the Floo powder into the flames, walk into the flames and say where you want to go."
Yin Li was also watching curiously. He had never used this way of transportation before.
Harry threw the glittering powder in his hand into the flames. The flames rose and turned into a emerald green. Harry walked in.
"The Burrow."
The flames roared high, carrying Harry away.
The last words Harry heard were, "Yin Li, you see, this is how you use the fireplace, but I usually don't use it because it's a bit dirty..."
Harry walked out of the fireplace of the Burrow covered in coal dust, cursing Caroline in his heart, and cleaned himself up.
"Hey, Harry..." Ron's tone was a little hesitant, "Looks like you had a good summer vacation?"
Harry looked completely different to him. His messy hair now looked as if every curve was carefully designed, and his old glasses were replaced with new ones.
Even his temperament had changed, which made Ron hesitate.
"It's quite fulfilling. I've been taking classes recently." Harry smiled. "Thank you for inviting me, Ron. It at least gives me a break."
As Harry spoke, Ron felt that he hadn't changed much, and the familiarity between them returned.
"Errol has gotten much better since he delivered your letter last time. Oh, Errol is my owl. He is always sick. I really hope my mother will give me a new owl."
Harry said, "Then you have to thank my teacher, Ms. Grosvenor. She saved the owl."
"Hey, Harry, welcome!" Mrs. Weasley gave Harry a big hug.
"Thank you for the invitation, Mrs. Weasley."
"Oh, welcome our Harry Potter!" Fred said in an exaggerated tone.
"Are you taking the nobility course? You really look like those pretentious Slytherins," said George.
"No, George, our Percy is like that too," said Fred.
After saying that, they both laughed.
Ron looked at them both speechlessly, then pulled Harry away and they went to Ron's bedroom.
"Ignore them. They can make themselves laugh about anything. Don't mind me. I think this change is quite good."
Ron also fantasized about living in a big manor like the Malfoy family, and occasionally wearing beautiful new clothes and using new textbooks like Malfoy.
At least being like them isn't all bad.
"I know they're just joking." Harry shook his head.
Suddenly, a scream came from a room upstairs, and then the door that was originally open was closed.
Harry looked over there.
"That's my sister. She's been talking about you all summer. She must be shy. She never closed the door before."
The two of them walked upstairs while talking. Ron opened a door with peeling paint and said, "Well, it may not be comparable to the Cavendish house."
Harry walked in. The sloping ceiling almost touched his head. Everything in Ron's room was a dazzling orange-yellow.
"I think it's pretty good. It's very cozy here."
Harry stayed at the Weasleys' house for a few days, and he was a little uncomfortable in the first two days.
The Cavendish family was always quiet, and everything they did was orderly and unhurried.
There was always some movement in the Weasley house. Either George and Fred were playing some prank again, or Mrs. Weasley was calling them to dinner. The ghouls in the attic would make some noise if they thought the house was too quiet.
That day, Harry was listening to Ron talking about his favorite Quidditch team when suddenly an uninvited guest broke in.
He had two large bat-like ears and a pair of protruding green eyes the size of tennis balls.
Ron shrieked, "Oh, a house-elf!"
Dobby the house-elf shrieked, "Harry Potter!"
His voice was a little too sharp, and Harry rubbed his ears uncomfortably. "Excuse me, who are you?"
Fred and George heard Ron's shout and hurried over to join in the fun.
"Dobby, sir. Just Dobby, Dobby the house-elf."
"Wow, a house-elf," said George.
"Mom wanted one so badly, we'll keep him," said Fred.
Ron said, "Be quiet."
Ginny also heard Ron's cry and ran up. She was lying timidly in the corridor and poked her head out to look at Ron's room.
Ron closed the door, locking her out, "Ginny, go play!"
Harry and Dobby had a lot of ineffective communication, and Dobby would start punishing himself after saying a few words.
Fred and George were still making trouble.
Harry was really annoyed by them.
Dobby finally spoke incoherently about his purpose, "Harry Potter cannot return to Hogwarts. Harry Potter must stay somewhere safe. He is so great and so kind, we cannot lose him. If Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts, his life will be in danger."
"What happened, Ron?" Mrs. Weasley's footsteps were heard, and she was almost at Ron's door.
"Oh, let's go hold her back." George said and went out with Fred.
Harry watched the two of them go out, and then he asked, "What dangers are there in Hogwarts?"
Dobby let out a funny choking sound and banged his head against the wall of Ron's room.
Ron looked at his wall distressedly. "It seems we can't get anything out of him. A house-elf can't betray its master. We just need to find out whose house-elf he is, right, Dobby?"
"Oh." Dobby looked at Ron with hopeful eyes, hoping that he would guess his master as soon as possible.
But Ron said anxiously, "You should go, Mom will be coming up soon!"
He lunged forward to grab Dobby.
"No!" Dobby dodged nimbly, "Harry Potter must first promise Dobby not to return to Hogwarts!"
The noise outside the door grew louder, and George and Fred were talking, "Mom, Ron and Harry are fine."
"No, I have to go and check before you play any pranks on them," said Mrs. Weasley.
Harry saw this and cast a Full Body Binding Curse at Dobby, then threw him into the cupboard.
Ron looked at Harry in horror.
Mrs. Weasley opened the door, "Ron, I heard you scream. Did George and Fred bully you?"
Ron came back to his senses, "Yeah, they scared me just now, but I'm fine now."
Mrs. Weasley looked at George and Fred warningly and asked, "Oh, is Harry okay?"
Harry shook his head, "I'm fine Mrs. Weasley."
Mrs. Weasley walked out, "I have to go and teach them a lesson."
Ron observed a moment of silence for George and Fred.
After she left, Ron closed the door and said to Harry in surprise, "That was a silent and wandless spell you just cast. Hey, you've become so powerful after this summer vacation!"
"Let's discuss Dobby first." Harry opened the cabinet.
"We can't let him out now. If we let him out, he'll definitely start smashing the wall again, and that will attract Mom back."
Ron was right, but Harry said, "My spells couldn't hold him for long."
"Let's take care of it!" George and Fred escaped from Mrs. Weasley's clutches and rushed back.
"We have to find out who his master is first." Harry said calmly.
Ron shrugged, "There are only so many pure-blood families in the wizarding world, and even fewer who can afford to keep house-elves."
"Then I'll let him out now, and you guys lure out his owner," said Harry.
"No problem," said George and Fred.
Harry waved his hand and cast a Stop Spell at Dobby.
