Fu Yuan laughed and said, "Why are you acting like that? You brought Sister Bao to see me, didn't you do it on purpose so I could see through you?"

Xu Xiang glanced at Feng Baobao and said, "When I brought Ah Wu to see you, I didn't think too much about it... Maybe I subconsciously believed you, which is a bit abnormal!"

Fu Yuan said proudly, "Sincerity manifests, manifestation leads to expression, expression leads to change, change leads to transformation. Only the most sincere in the world can transform. There's a saying that goes, 'Sincerity leads to enlightenment.' My heart is truly sincere, my Qi is truly righteous. Even heaven and earth can be transformed and obey my commands, let alone you."

Xu Xiang stopped talking.

Feng Baobao said from the side, "It's okay. I trust him. I can sense that if he does something against his will, his Qi will wither."

Fu Yuan praised: "Sister Bao is also a sincere person!"

Taoism is extremely sincere, and its inner resonance is miraculous.

Confucianism is so sincere that it can predict external responses in advance.

Xu Xiang breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Then do you want to join the company?"

Fu Yuan shook his head and said, "Now I want to see the world, travel around, and increase my knowledge."

Xu Xiang asked back, "Didn't you just say that knowing too much can lead to restlessness and increased desires?"

Fu Yuan smiled and said, "Confucianism teaches self-discipline and self-cultivation. What is restrained is the "intention". Following my conscience, nourishing my noble spirit, selective "intention", restrained "intention", this is the Confucian practice.

The more I know, the harder it is to control my intentions, and the deeper my practice becomes. Conversely, if I lose control of my intentions, and desires cloud my heart, my practice will stagnate or even regress.

This is why Feng Baobao said that once Fu Yuan did something against his will, his righteous spirit would shrink.

Xu Xiang nodded and said, "I understand. You need money to travel, right?"

Fu Yuan said: "Making money is not difficult for me."

After all, this was his job in his previous life. Moreover, the future social development process is in his mind, and he knows exactly which industry can make money.

Xu Xiang picked up a cell phone from his side, threw it to Fu Yuan, and said, "The company often helps people solve the troubles caused by some strange people. If they are rich, they will also charge a lot of money.

Take this phone and I'll recommend some wealthy people who are in trouble so you don't have to worry about money."

Fu Yuan took the phone, an old antique 6310. Of course, for today's people, it's a novelty. He asked, "Can this thing locate the phone?"

Xu Xiang avoided answering, which was considered as a tacit agreement: "Don't worry about the phone bill, my number has been saved."

Fu Yuan thought about it, put his phone in his pocket, and said, "Okay, thank you Uncle Xu."

There is nothing that cannot be told to others. Fu Yuan is open and honest, and has no guilty conscience. Naturally, he is not afraid of being investigated and followed, let alone just locating someone.

People who are open-minded live an easy life.

People who have guilty consciences, who are always worried about this and that, live a very tiring life.

"Call me if you have any questions."

Xu Xiang said something, turned the steering wheel, and the car returned along the original route.

Fu Yuan continued riding his bicycle.

Chapter 22 Yueyang Tower

The three major religions, Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, have been integrated with each other to a certain extent in their long development, with each other being part of the other.

But because of the different attitudes towards life, there are also essential differences.

The similarity is that the core of the three religions is to adhere to the original heart, nature, and self... They all mean the same thing, the heart that is neither good nor evil.

The difference lies in "intention". Taoism seeks "tranquility" of intention, Buddhism emphasizes "emptiness" of intention, and Confucianism emphasizes "center" of intention.

……

Yueyang Tower, after all, is just a building.

But when mentioning "Yueyang Tower", everyone will think of Fan Zhongyan, his words "not to be happy with things, not to be sad with oneself", and his words "to worry about the world before worrying about oneself, and to be happy after the world is happy"...

This makes Yueyang Tower no longer just a simple building, but gives it a deeper meaning artificially.

To some extent, this is also the purpose of Yueyang Tower.

This Yueyang Tower allows Fan Zhongyan's will to live on. Isn't this what Confucianism seeks?

Standing on the Yueyang Tower, Fu Yuan saw the "changes of light and darkness, wind and rain, and clear and cloudy weather", but felt the "emotions of viewing things" of the "migrant poets".

Reading "Yueyang Tower Inscription" is also reading Fan Zhongyan's will.

Fan Zhongyan placed his heart on the Yueyang Tower.

In fact, similar scenic spots and historical sites are all like this. The reason they are called "scenic spots and historical sites" is that someone has set up a heart for them!

"In the spring of the fourth year of the Qingli reign, Teng Zijing was exiled to Baling County. The next year, the government was in order and the people were in harmony..."

"I saw the beauty of Baling in Dongting Lake. It embraces the distant mountains and swallows the Yangtze River. It is vast and boundless. The morning sun shines and the evening shades are shrouded in a myriad of scenes..."

"Alas! I have tried to understand the hearts of the ancient sages, and I find them somewhat different from the two. Why? They are neither happy with things nor sad with themselves. When they are in high positions, they worry about their people; when they are far away, they worry about their rulers. So they worry whether they advance or retreat..."

"..."

To put it nicely, Fan Zhongyan established his will for Yueyang Tower. To put it bluntly, Fan Zhongyan imposed his will on Yueyang Tower.

Fortunately, Yueyang Tower is an inanimate object, passively accepting the burden of history that it should not have to bear as a simple building.

What if it were a living thing, a human being? He would impose his will on others, making them live according to his will, euphemistically calling it "order," or Confucian "enlightenment"... establishing a destiny for the people.

The Tao Te Ching says: Heaven and earth are unkind and treat all things as straw dogs; sages are unkind and treat the people as straw dogs.

What is a straw dog? It is used for sacrifice.

During the sacrifice, it is held in high esteem and regarded as extremely important, but after the sacrifice, it is simply thrown aside and no longer cared about.

So for the saints, when the people need them, they pick them up and use them, and when they don’t need them, they throw them away and ignore them...they are nothing more than tools.

Fu Yuan suddenly remembered a joke he once told Old Man Liu about a pigpen.

The owner of the pigpen actually doesn’t care about the right or wrong between the pigs, he only cares about the overall stability of the pigpen.

So for Yi Ren, a pig that has the ability to cause trouble, the higher-ups don't care whether Yi Ren is good or evil, they care more about Yi Ren not disrupting the pigpen.

Similarly, for heaven and earth, all things are just tools, and all they need to do is act according to the laws of heaven and earth.

If Fu Yuan wants to establish his mind for the world, he must first set his sights higher and not be influenced by artificially added concepts... All judgments should come from conscience.

Because the great righteousness comes from conscience, and the great righteousness fills heaven and earth, then conscience is the heart established by heaven and earth.

Wolves eat sheep. Wolves are ferocious, while sheep are docile. Some people like sheep, and then use various means to promote the kindness of sheep and the evil of wolves, which makes people feel sympathy for sheep. This is an artificially added concept.

But your conscience will tell you that there is no right or wrong, no good or evil!

……

After receiving a phone call, Fu Yuan left Yueyang Tower. A car was already waiting on the roadside.

The woman standing next to the car was pretty, wearing a uniform, with straight white calves, towering breasts, and a ponytail, looking fashionable and capable.

Fu Yuan raised his phone to her and said, "Are you here to pick me up?"

The woman looked at Fu Yuan in surprise and dialed the phone in her hand. She waited for Fu Yuan's phone to ring before hanging up. Her delicate face showed some surprise as she said, "Hello, my name is Zeng Yueyi... You look very young."

Fu Yuan has a calm temperament and gives people a mature and stable feeling. He doesn't seem like a young man.

"Fu Yuan, seventeen years old... not just looking young, but really young!"

Fu Yuan didn't care about her attitude and said, "Take me to see the situation. If it's difficult, the price won't be low."

Zeng Yueyi's towering chest rose and fell violently, and he gritted his teeth and said, "Please get in the car!"

After getting in the car, Zeng Yueyi glanced at Fu Yuan in the passenger seat while driving, and said, "To be honest, my family runs a technology company, and we don't believe in super powers or extraordinary abilities at all..."

Fu Yuan leaned back in his chair, his eyes falling on a packet of Chinese medicine and a box of ginseng on the dashboard. He said happily, "So you still believe in Chinese medicine?"

Judging from the quality of the ginseng, it is very expensive. It seems that he can make a lot of money this time. Fu Yuan is in a good mood.

Zeng Yueyi paused for a moment and said, "How can Traditional Chinese Medicine be related to superpowers?"

Fu Yuan didn't answer directly. Instead, he reached out and fiddled with the packet of Chinese medicine, and asked casually, "Why do you think Chinese medicine works?"

Zeng Yueyi said as a matter of course: "Because Chinese medicine contains therapeutic ingredients!"

Fu Yuan glanced at her strangely and said, "There's a medicine in Traditional Chinese Medicine called 'Floating Wheat'. If you pour wheat into water, the wheat that floats is floating wheat. From a scientific point of view, its ingredients are exactly the same as bread and steamed buns. There's no difference.

When Zhang Canjia, a master of traditional Chinese medicine, used this medicine, he thought floating wheat was useless, so he removed it. As a result, the prescription was completely ineffective. Later, he added it back, and the prescription worked again... Do you think it's really the ingredients that are working?"

Zeng Yueyi was stunned: "This..."

Fu Yuan smiled and said, "In Traditional Chinese Medicine, floating wheat is used for its 'ascending and subduing' effect! And what about ginseng? Why is ginseng known for its ability to replenish qi and save lives?"

Zeng Yueyi's tone was less firm, and he said, "Because ginseng contains ginsenosides?"

Fu Yuan smiled and said, "The content of ginsenosides in ginseng leaves is several times higher than that in the roots. Why don't you just chew the leaves directly?"

Zeng Yueyi's lips moved a few times, and finally he said discouragedly: "I don't know."

Fu Yuan picked up the ginseng box on the dashboard, looked at it, and said, "Because ginseng contains vital energy, in spring, ginseng will spread its vital energy to grow, and in autumn it will collect the vital energy back to the roots. This process is called 'returning to the pulp'.

By the way, only ginseng dug out in autumn is effective, followed by winter... Ginseng unearthed in spring and summer has no effect at all.

Your ginseng is of excellent quality, but the person who dug it didn't know how to do it. Eating it is worse than eating a radish."

After saying that, he threw it back to the control panel.

Zeng Yueyi had no reaction to Fu Yuan's actions. It seemed that she didn't care about the price of this ginseng.

Rich people!

"Watch the road! Why are you looking at me?"

Zeng Yueyi withdrew his gaze, but still glanced at it from time to time, and said, "According to you, Chinese medicine is not scientific?"

“Chinese medicine belongs to metaphysics.”

Fu Yuan smiled and said, "Metaphysics and science are completely different systems. Science seeks downwards and seeks details, while metaphysics seeks upwards and seeks generalities.

Using scientific methods to explain metaphysics, using one system to explain another, simply doesn't make sense! "

Zeng Yueyi asked curiously, "So, the so-called superpowers and abilities are all metaphysics? What exactly is metaphysics?"

Fu Yuan asked in return: "What do you think is "Xuan"?"

Zeng Yueyi pondered and said, "Mysterious and profound?"

Fu Yuan grinned and said, "To those who don't understand, it seems to be true... Actually, to put it bluntly, Xuan refers to the appearance and essence of all things.
