When one's ambition is firm, one's qi will naturally become strong; however, if the qi is too strong, it will affect one's ambition.

Just like some people, they have a lot of energy and look energetic, but their behavior lacks rationality. This is a manifestation of "exploiting one's energy".

In the process of pursuing your goals, you must remain rational and not be swayed by momentary impulses. You must learn to regulate your emotions and balance your mentality so that you can better realize your ambitions.

In summary, the great spirit is about achieving a harmonious state between ambition and spirit. One cannot have great ambitions but little spirit, nor can one have great spirit but little ambition.

Old man Liu went to seek revenge, so Fu Yuan wanted to find out whether he was blinded by greed and became angry for a moment.

After Old Man Liu thought it through and made a rational judgment, Fu Yuan stopped trying to dissuade him.

Because Old Man Liu "acts according to his heart"... He is not a Confucianist, and does not care about restraining the body and mind. Instead, he wants to get rid of the shackles of the soul and seek freedom in his heart.

Strictly speaking, Old Man Liu is not even a Taoist. At most, he is a warrior. What he really wants is to avenge his enemies.

But that flying sword technique is so cool!

……

Old Man Liu's departure did not have much impact on Fu Yuan. He just felt a little lonely for a while because he had one less person to communicate with.

As for the safety of Old Man Liu, it is not Fu Yuan's turn to worry about it.

Life or death, it is all Old Man Liu's own choice. On the road of seeking, it is better to hear the truth early and die in the evening. This is a good thing.

Seeking peace of mind is also seeking the truth!

After the National Day holiday, Fu Yuan's life went on as usual: going to school, going home, studying, and cultivating himself...

Until the evening of that day, Fu Yuan prepared dinner and still sat at the door reading.

Then, inexplicably, a woman walked into the yard, said nothing, moved a small stool, sat down opposite Fu Yuan, and looked at him without blinking.

Fu Yuan looked up and looked at her. She had long black hair that was a little messy and sloppy. Her features were pretty, but her eyes were very clear, and one could clearly feel the curiosity in them.

I still remember Old Man Liu said that children give people the impression of being spiritual because their innate Qi is exposed and uncontaminated. However, as they become more emotional and anxious, their innate Qi is gradually contaminated and buried, causing the child's spiritual energy to disappear.

But the woman in front of him gave people the feeling that she was full of spirit, even more spirit than a baby.

Of course, because she is an adult, this aura makes her look a little silly... In fact, it is similar to the ignorance of a baby, or carefree!

Fu Yuan couldn't help but laugh and said, "Concentrate your energy and become gentle, can you be like a baby... Sister, who are you?"

"My name is Feng Baobao. What are you practicing, little kid?" Feng Baobao spoke with a Sichuan accent, speaking without restraint: "Why is your Qi different from others?"

It turned out to be her!

Fu Yuan was amused and said, "Sister, I'm not an alien. I don't practice Qi... Hey, you can still see my Qi?"

Feng Baobao scratched his head, confused, "It's not seeing, it's feeling. I can feel that your Qi is greater than anyone else's..."

As he was talking, a thin old man came over and asked, "Awu, what are you doing?"

Feng Baobao turned around and pointed at Fu Yuan, saying, "His Qi is unusual... He should be the one we're looking for."

"This little kid?" The old man looked at Fu Yuan in confusion and asked, "Little kid, how old are you? How long have you been practicing Qi?"

Without needing Fu Yuan to answer, Feng Baobao said, "He has never practiced Qi, nor is he an extraordinary person, but his Qi is very strong."

The old man was stunned. "Great Qi? Ah Wu, are you saying that he has a lot of Qi?"

Feng Baobao shook her head and said, "It's not a lot, it's big! It's the size of an 'adult'!"

The old man was confused.

Fu Yuan understood and said with a smile: "Mencius said: 'Fullness is beauty, fullness with brilliance is greatness, greatness that can transform everything is saintliness, and saintliness that is unknowable is divinity.

"Sister, what I'm saying is that my Qi not only fills my entire body, but is also radiating outward, beginning to affect others. This is what the ancients called the "Da" in "Daren," right?"

The old man was stunned. A seven or eight-year-old kid started reading "Mencius"?

Feng Baobao looked confused. After a moment of thought, he said, "I don't know. Anyway, you, a little kid, give me the impression of being an 'adult'... What on earth have you practiced? How come your Qi is so strong?"

"I can't sense Qi, so naturally I've never practiced Qi."

Fu Yuan smiled and said, "Since you said my Qi is great, I think it's because my ambition is great."

Feng Baobao asked doubtfully, "Ambition? What does Qi have to do with ambition?"

Fu Yuan thought for a moment and said, “Well, you, the strange people who practice Qi, follow the Taoist philosophy. Laozi said, ‘Empty your mind and fill your belly.’ Just eat a full meal and don’t have any lofty ideals or aspirations. So, for Qi, you are ‘practicing’, and you are practicing Qi.

But I am different. I have set a goal. When it comes to Qi, I "nurture" it, and what I nurture is my ambition."

Feng Baobao shook her head and said, "I don't understand."

Fu Yuan pondered for a moment and said, "Ambition is the goal, and Qi is the driving force to achieve the goal, or it can be called 'heart energy'. Subjective initiative... It's hard to explain."

Feng Baobao said "Oh" and did not ask any more questions, but continued to stare at Fu Yuan.

The old man stared at Fu Yuan with a strange look and said, "Little boy, you are not an alien, but you are cultivating Qi?"

"Yes." Fu Yuan said frankly: "I can't sense Qi."

The old man was silent for a moment, then asked, "Do you know Mr. Liu Zhangping?"

"Liu Zhangping?"

Fu Yuan paused. This was the first time he knew the old man's name. He pointed in a direction and said, "If you're talking about Grandpa Liu who lives in the two-story building over there, then I know him."

The old man nodded and said, "That's him. Are you his disciple?"

Fu Yuan shook his head and said, "I'm not really a disciple. Grandpa Liu once taught me some basic Kung Fu, but I couldn't sense Qi and never made the leap, so he didn't accept me... Is he dead?"

The old man choked for a moment and said, "Yes, Mr. Liu Zhangping passed away unexpectedly."

Fu Yuan was silent, feeling a little sad and reluctant.

The old man was about to say something else when he suddenly turned his head and looked outside. He said, "My name is Xu Xiang. What's your name, little boy?"

"Fu Yuan."

Xu Xiang nodded and said, "Awu and I will stay in the village for two days. I may need to ask you some questions later. That's all for today. Awu, let's go."

Feng Baobao asked curiously, "Aren't you going to give him the things?"

Xu Xiang said helplessly: "Let's talk about it next time, and then he left."

"Oh...little kid, let's go."

"Well, goodbye sister."

As soon as the two left, Grandpa Fu Guojin came back. He looked back curiously and said to Fu Yuan, "Second Little, I heard that a car came to the village. Why didn't you go to see it?"

Fu Yuan was in a bad mood and said with all his strength, "I'll go and see it tomorrow."

At dinner that night, Fu Yuan suddenly said, "Grandpa, Grandma, Grandpa Liu from the village head has died."

Fu Guojin was stunned for a moment: "Grandpa Liu? You mean Mr. Liu?"

"Well, the car that came into the village today was here for this purpose."

After a pause, Fu Yuan continued, "Actually, Grandpa Liu taught me something. I want to observe some mourning for him, is that okay?"

The old couple looked at each other in bewilderment. Fu Guojin asked, "You mean, Mr. Liu taught you something? He accepted you as his student?"

Fu Yuan said: "It was confiscated, but the things were taught."

Grandma hesitated and said, "There's no such title as not accepting a disciple?"

Fu Guojin thought for a moment and said, "Since you've taught me something, then let's show our appreciation. It's nothing more than burning some paper money during festivals. So let's keep it."

Fu Yuan said, "Also, before Grandpa Liu left, he said that he would leave his house and the things in it to me. I don't know what the rules were."

"Really?" Grandpa and grandma were shocked. They looked at each other and put down their chopsticks. Grandpa said seriously, "Tell me, what's going on?"

Fu Yuan said, "The day before National Day, Grandpa Liu came to see me and said he had something to do and would be away for a few days. If he couldn't come back, the house and its contents would be left to me."

Grandma looked worried and said, "Is Mr. Liu in trouble? Erxiao, should we not touch his things?"

Grandpa asked, "Erxiao, are you close to Mr. Liu?"

Fu Yuan nodded and said, "Well, usually when I'm alone at home, Grandpa Liu often comes over to chat with me."

Grandpa's face looked a little strange: "Why didn't you say so earlier? Have you learned Mr. Liu's skills?"

"We were just chatting, I didn't take it seriously... He taught me the skills, but I didn't learn the core."

Grandpa was silent for a long time, then said, "Let's not bring up the matter of the house, so as not to cause a dispute. We don't want other people's houses... If Mr. Liu has already made plans, and the house is given to you, then you should accept it."

"it is good."

Chapter 12 Beauty, Greatness, Holiness, God

There is a passage in Mencius: "That which is desirable is good; that which is in oneself is trustworthy; that which is full is beautiful; that which is full and radiant is great; that which is great and can transform others is holy; that which is holy and unknowable is divine."

The "goodness" and "faithfulness" here are evaluating Le Zhengzi, but can be interpreted as the six realms of righteousness.

For example, taking "etiquette" as an example, actively liking "etiquette" rather than passively practicing "etiquette" is called "goodness", and upholding "etiquette" at all times is called "faithfulness".

When etiquette is correct, the body and mind will be correct, and thus the qi will be correct.

When this righteous energy fills the whole body and every move is full of righteous demeanor, it is called "beauty". When the righteous energy in the whole body blooms outward like light, it is called "greatness".

Confucianism is not something that can be "sought after for one's own enjoyment", but rather something that should be expressed externally through manners and temperament.

When one's righteous energy is great enough to fill the heaven and earth, and to educate all beings in the heaven and earth, so that all beings can also follow the "righteous" path, this is called a "sage", which is the Confucian sage.

For example, "Heaven and earth have righteousness" means that on the basis of "big", righteousness fills heaven and earth and cultivates more righteousness.

Being taught by a saint without knowing it is a "god"!

There are four realms: beauty, greatness, holiness, and divinity.

Although Fu Yuan is only seven years old now, his walking, sitting, lying down, speaking and behaving are all correct and graceful, giving people a feeling of special coordination, rhythm and natural beauty.

Now this kind of "beauty" has blossomed like light. To put it simply, anyone who sees Fu Yuan will think that this child is very decent!

First impressions matter.

The title "Sir" was not originally used to address officials, but was used to address people of noble moral character.

"Yi Qian": "Nine Two: Seeing a dragon in the field, it is beneficial to see a great man."

……

Fu Yuan wanted to observe mourning for Old Man Liu, so naturally it was impossible for him to live in a hut like in ancient times.
