"Mr. Potter!" The wizard stretched out his hand: "I'm Hansen, it's an honor to meet you!"

Chapter 159 The Third Interrogation Room

Hansen was not the only one at the security checkpoint, there were several wizards nearby. When they heard what Hansen said, they all ran over to shake Harry's hand.

"I've been at school for so long that I almost forgot that Harry's fans are all over the British wizarding world."

Vader sighed and said to Lupin, "We won't be late, will we?"

Lupin had the same worry. He squeezed into the crowd and, with great effort, finally rescued Harry.

"Please make way, gentlemen! We have something else to do. Please make way..."

Harry straightened his crooked glasses and asked, "Mr. Hansen, can you give us a security check?"

"Of course, of course."

Hansen used a thin golden rod to scan each person's chest and back from top to bottom, just like a metal scanner used at an airport.

Then he had Harry place his wand on a brass machine that looked like a scale, and after a moment a narrow strip of paper spit out of it.

"Eleven inches, holly wood, phoenix feathers, and a one-year lifespan, right?" Hansen asked.

"Yes." Harry looked at the people watching nearby and felt like a monkey in a zoo.

The wizards smiled amiably at him.

Hansen also smiled and said, "It's well maintained. Mr. Ollivander will be very happy if he sees it."

He handed the wand back to Harry and poked the paper onto a small brass nail.

When it came to Lupin and Vader's turn, Hansen's attitude became businesslike.

"Cypress wood, unicorn hair, ten and a quarter inches, twenty-one years old?"

"That's right," said Lupin.

"Poplar wood, unicorn hair, twelve inches, one year of use..." Hansen glanced at Wade and asked, "Are you a Hufflepuff? I'm from Hufflepuff too."

"No," said Wade, "I'm a Ravenclaw."

"Oh……"

Hansen's friendly smile disappeared immediately, but when he turned and saw Harry, he returned to his enthusiastic attitude.

"Where are you going, Mr. Potter? I can help lead the way."

"No thanks, Hansen. They're with me!"

Arthur Weasley suddenly squeezed out of the crowd, put his arm around Harry's shoulder, and led the three of them towards an open golden door.

"You're a little late, Lupin," said Mr. Weasley.

"Sorry, Arthur, the people at the Ministry of Magic are a little too enthusiastic." Lupin reached out to smooth out the clothes that had been messed up by the squeezing, and protected Wade as he walked forward.

A group of colorful paper planes flew past the crowd like a flock of birds.

They walked through the golden door and came to the elevator hall. There were at least twenty elevators there, and some people were standing in the small hall waiting for the elevators.

"Hi, Arthur." Someone greeted Mr. Weasley. "How's work going lately?"

Mr. Weasley nodded. "Except for one Muggle who nearly had his nose bitten off by his own mug, everything else is fine."

They came to an elevator and Mr. Weasley pressed the down button.

"Dumbledore is here," Mr. Weasley whispered to Lupin, "and there are many foreign reporters... Fudge originally wanted to hold the trial in Courtroom 10, but because of those people, he had to change it to Courtroom 3..."

Lupin seemed to know both places, for he said, with relief, "That's not bad..."

"Everyone let me remind you... to stay calm, okay? No matter what happens in court, the one who loses his mind will always lose..." said Mr. Weasley.

"I understand." Lupin clenched his hands twice, his tone still calm: "Those who disrupt the order of the court will be expelled. I certainly won't let that happen."

"That's good." Mr. Weasley felt a little relieved.

Vader and Harry looked at Lupin together.

Ever since they met, Lupin has always appeared calm and rational. There are times when Professor McGonagall gets angry at her students, but Lupin has always been incredibly emotionally stable.

But in the eyes of others, why does Lupin seem like a guy who would overturn the table if he disagrees with something?

Harry thought this was due to their strong bond.

And Vader's idea was... He once thought that among the four people in the group, Lupin was the one who was driven by his friends to do bad things, but it seemed that this was not the case in the eyes of others...

The elevator arrived soon.

They took the elevator to the underground floor. They walked down the stairs. There were many torches embedded in the rough stone walls, and the air was still cold and damp.

"We're here, the third courtroom."

Mr. Weasley said as he pushed open a large black door.

It can be seen that many torches and floating magic candles were temporarily added to the courtroom, making the entire hall brightly lit.

On both sides were rows of gradually rising chairs, which were now almost full. Almost everyone was talking, and the courtroom was very noisy.

In the front row, there were a dozen reporters with heavy cameras hanging on their chests, and some were writing furiously.

One woman, with jeweled glasses and curly blond hair, stood out in a fluorescent pink dress that looked out of place in the dark courtroom.

The other reporters subconsciously kept their distance from her, and it was hard to tell whether they were out of fear or disgust.

The entrance of Wade and his companions attracted almost no attention from anyone. Mr. Weasley led them along the narrow staircase on the side to the top floor, where they found a few empty seats and sat down.

After a while, someone else sat down next to them. When he sat down, the wooden chair creaked.

Wade looked up and saw that the person next to him looked horrible. He had long, messy gray hair, his face was covered with scars, and his mouth was like a big crooked gash.

The side of his eyes closest to Vader looked very strange, moving around all the time, like a flexible pointer, and suddenly turned towards Vader.

Wade was startled by this sudden move.

The wizard chuckled and asked in a hoarse voice, "Do you mind if I sit next to you, kid?"

Even when he spoke in the most polite tone, it seemed like a threat.

Harry was so shocked that his eyes widened and his body stiffened, probably thinking that this was some dangerous dark wizard.

He was in the Umbrella House, and he also listened to Theo's story about how he and his brother were almost kidnapped and were later rescued by strangers.

Vader looked at the wizard and said, "Of course not. Please take a seat."

"Quite brave." The wizard muttered, his blue eyes rolling around to look at Harry next to him, staring at the scar on his forehead for a while, and then fell silent.

"Good morning, Moody," Lupin said. "I didn't expect you to come."

"You can't be deaf and dumb after retirement, right?"

Moody pulled out a curved bottle and took a swig, then said, "Besides, Sirius was once my comrade."

"I want to take a good look and see if he is really innocent or if he has used some trick to deceive you simple guys!"

Chapter 160 Interrogation

Lupin was silent for a moment.

He always felt that what Moody wanted to say was not "innocence" but "stupidity".

But... trusting Sirius was a matter of course for him!

He has been making mistakes for eleven years. Is he going to continue making mistakes?

Although the foursome had always been together, they were also somewhat close to each other.

Lupin hated Sirius for betraying James more than anyone else; but the moment he learned that Peter Pettigrew was still alive, he believed that he was mistaken.

He should trust his own judgment more rather than listening to the so-called "facts" that others say.

But Moody probably couldn't understand these feelings.

So Lupin just forced a smile and whispered, "I believe him."

Harry mustered up his courage, faced Moody's scary face, and said, "Me, me too."

The blue magic eye suddenly stared at him, and at the same time Moody's real black eye looked at Harry.

Harry was a little nervous, his palms were sweating, but he still insisted: "I believe that the godfather my father chose for me... is not a traitor!"

Moody laughed, but rarely did he say anything sarcastic.

"……Child!"

He grunted.

Suddenly, the whole house became quiet.

The door to the side of the interrogation room opened, and several wizards walked in - Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge, a grey-haired witch wearing a monocle, and a fierce-looking wizard with lion-like hair.

They sat on the high stools in the middle.

Afterwards, another dozen people in purple robes came in and sat on both sides. They all looked serious, with majesty written all over their faces.

All sounds in the interrogation room quickly disappeared.

There was a crisp knocking sound, and the gray-haired witch said expressionlessly: "Bring Sirius Black up."

Lupin's body suddenly leaned forward, and his palms that were grabbing the back of the chair in front of him turned pale, while Harry stood up subconsciously.

Moody put down the hip flask and leaned on his cane with both hands.

Vader raised his eyes and looked towards a small door at the corner.

The door opened.

Harry nearly yelled, and there was a brief, buzzing sound from the crowd.

Two cloaked monsters, almost three meters tall, slowly floated in, holding the arm of the man in the middle with their blistered and scabbed hands, and walked towards the armchair in the middle of the room.

The faces of the two monsters under their cloaks seemed to be breathing. They took a deep breath and a cold feeling came over them.

Even from such a distance, Harry felt his hands and feet were cold. Many wizards also showed expressions of disgust and fear.
