Today I would like to say a few words about some of the most discussed issues in the book review section.

I'd like to say this before, this is not the first time I've written a novel, and I know that those who raised questions may have been poisoned by me long ago, and the rest of the people should be able to accept my articles. I understand that what is panacea to them may be poison to me, and what I say may be useless, so it's okay, just treat it as a chat.

First of all, the problem is that the protagonist is a scumbag, I admit it.

Putting aside the fact that I’m not good at romance dramas, strictly speaking, as long as the story doesn’t have a single female lead or no female lead, then the protagonist isn’t a scumbag, right?

Many readers compare Haidi’s books with mine. I think this is too high for me. There are two writers on Qidian and I have subscribed to all their books. One is Gou Haidi and the other is Sanzha. They are in different fields, but they are both top writers.

The character creation and daily descriptions under the sea are really amazing, but even so, wasn't Kitahara still criticized as a scumbag in "One Life, One World" 2.5 Double? I'm far from his level, so it's normal for me to be criticized.

You should criticize, and I should write something. I said it in the first few pictures that it is not a story with only one female lead, so this is not a fraud.

By the way, Rin is not a character from Yuki.

I saw a post saying that it is unrealistic for Kyoko to be bullied as an excellent student, especially in a new school. I don't know if it is unrealistic or not, after all, I am not Japanese, but in film and television works, this kind of plot is not new. Being bullied has nothing to do with academic performance. It depends on interpersonal relationships and personality. As for whether the new school will pay attention to this, let alone the fact that Japanese schools have serious student autonomy and the school does not manage so much, bullying is not just physical violence, who can manage verbal violence and cold violence? Moreover, with that kind of timid and submissive personality, even if he is bullied, will he report it to the teacher? I don't think this plot can be considered a poisonous point.

Then there is the scene where Ryunosuke Akutagawa first appeared. Maybe my description was a little biased. My original intention was that Ryunosuke Akutagawa appeared disguised as a police inspector to test the character and ability of the protagonist, but failed. In the end, he openly revealed a corner of the extraordinary world and extended an invitation to the protagonist.

Some readers said that this attitude is not like the attitude of inviting people, but I think if you want to invite people to join, you can't just listen to hearsay, it is still necessary to go and test the waters in person. Maybe I described it too hard before and didn't lay the groundwork well, so the atmosphere was a bit tense? I will revise this paragraph when I have time, but I don't have time recently.

The character setting is really a matter of personal opinion, and it is too easy to be misled by one's imagination.

I read a book review before, which said that Hidekawa Kamiizumi went to threaten Ryunosuke Akutagawa, and he didn't look like a respected swordsman at all.

I wonder if this highly respected person is not entirely made up by you.

When did I add this character?

I have always mentioned that when Shangquan Xiuchuan was young, he was also a playboy. He held a sword in his hand, was full of vigor and vitality, made friends with all kinds of people, and took pleasure in settling scores. He challenged others as easily as he ate or drank water. He did not have a good temper. Later, he got a family and became much more stable. He also became good at building personal connections, but the things in his bones are not so easy to change.

When his daughter was in danger, this man rushed directly to the dream mirror world, without caring about anything, and just drew his sword to kill.

He is a protective person. When you touch his legacy, he has shown restraint by not drawing his sword and killing you. Do you still expect him to speak to you calmly and respectfully?

Gee.

Hard to bear.

Some book reviews said that I had too many dialogues and the plot was a bit dragged out, and I discovered this myself.

I used to write fan fiction, but fan fiction does not require character creation and the plot is clear, which is completely different from the nature of this book. So I was a little worried when writing it. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to explain some things clearly, and the character creation would not be clear, so it would be a bit long-winded, and I was not able to control the original plot. I will try my best to learn and make improvements. Anyway, as a newcomer, it's normal to read a book to practice my skills. I'll just consider it as paying tuition.

As for the water text, it's really not the case. What's the point of not putting up a water text chart? I have never written a plot that is completely unrelated to the main line. In fact, there are foreshadowings in many places.

Well, it's not a sudden whim of mine that Rin Kamiizumi's abilities have no limits, nor is it my setting that she has brain damage. Her father only talked about her abilities, and she herself said that there are no limits. That's all I have to say, and there will be an explanation later.

Not every demon soul that appears is a female, and in the end they are all taken into the harem. The heroines have basically all appeared, but the amount of ink and paper spent on them is different, and some have not yet become active.

As for the last few pairs, I’m not going to lie, I really haven’t thought about it yet.

Also, I remember some readers complained that the settings in a certain early part were changed too frequently, which was a bit annoying to read. I specifically mentioned this in the epilogue of the first volume.

Let me explain a little bit here.

At that time, my book was almost 100,000 words long, but it hadn't been tested for promotion yet. Some readers may not know what this means. If a book doesn't have a test run, it can only be put on the shelves quickly and rely on full attendance. There will be no recommendations, no traffic, no readers, and I will only have to write 4,000 words a day to get the minimum living allowance and finish it hastily.

The most important thing for a book is the recommendation position, no doubt about it. Quality comes second. Of course, quality books generally receive many recommendations.

When I didn't get any recommendation after writing 100,000 words, I felt very disappointed and thought that this book was definitely going to fail. I thought about changing the settings quickly and cutting the side stories, and finishing it with 500,000 or 600,000 words. It wouldn't be considered a failure if it had a beginning and an end, and my next book would be another success.

So I concentrated on writing down some settings that I will slowly update later.

I never expected that after writing just a few chapters, I would push it out as a test article.

I felt very complicated at that time, and it’s hard to describe.

Since the editor has recommended it, I can’t do my job so casually, so I had to use some force to get the plot back on track.

I am not saying this to make excuses, I am just expressing my apologies. I think it will affect the reading experience. Those who can stick to this are all true fans. Thank you for your understanding.

There may be something else I want to say, but I can't remember it. I'll talk about it when I have the chance. Originally, these things should have been put in the epilogue of the second volume, but if nothing unexpected happens, the second volume will not be completed until it is on the shelves. I'll say it in advance. I have no control over whether the person who raised the question can see it, but whether to say it or not is my attitude.

Regarding updating, 5,000 words a day is not a small number. I'm not a full-time writer. I get home at around 7 or 8 every day, eat at around 9 o'clock, and then start writing instead of playing anything else. I'm considered fast if I can finish two chapters by 11 o'clock. I have to save up manuscripts recently. I haven't touched the Hundred Stories card game for two months since I wrote this book. I've drawn all the SSR cards of Suzuka Gozen, but I haven't had the chance to experience them.

Of course, there will be more updates once it’s on the shelves.

Finally, I want to create a book club. I wonder if anyone is willing to join. If there are, please leave a message here and I will see the number. If there are too few, I will not create it. It would be too embarrassing and a bit shameful if no one joins.

That’s all. I’m sleepy. I’m going to sleep.

Well. Finally, thank you all for your support. Please rest assured that this book will never be delayed. There are not many things I can promise, but I can definitely do this.

Chapter 88 Yuan Ming Mirror

Shosoin is a warehouse located in Nara, northwest of the Great Buddha Hall in Todaiji Temple. The emperors of the Nara period admired Buddhism and entrusted their daily necessities and treasures to Todaiji Temple for safekeeping. Over time, it developed into the prototype of a treasure house.

Since the treasure house of the Collectibles Association dares to be called "Shosoin", there must be something there. In addition, given the nature of the Collectibles Association, the collections in Shosoin are probably not ordinary things.

To be honest, Uesugi Kiyoshi was a little curious. He had read a lot of books and knew a lot of miscellaneous knowledge, but he had never seen any extraordinary things.

I have killed quite a few extraordinary ghosts, but I haven't seen any equipment dropped.

While thinking, Kudo Yuichi stood up and gave Uesugi Kiyoshi a look, indicating that he should follow him first.

The two of them left the meeting room, one after the other.

After going out, he walked for dozens of meters in the corridor with mirror floors and stopped in front of the third door on the right.

He pressed a few random buttons on the combination lock and pressed his palm on it. After a few seconds, a green light flashed and the sliding door with a very modern technological mechanical feel opened automatically.

With a gesture of invitation, Kudo Yuichi was the first to step into the room.

"This is the Cloakroom, a place for investigators and collectors to get their equipment."

Kudo Yuichi stretched out his arms and turned around as if he was dancing a waltz, showing this place to Uesugi Kiyoshi with some pride.

All around are hangers filled with luxurious atmosphere, with all kinds of gorgeous clothes on them.

"Including you, the Tokyo Collectibles Association has a total of 17 investigators and 4 collectors. You have the authority to use the items in here."

"Just pick one. I can't say I admire your taste. I've never seen you in any regular clothes other than sportswear."

"I'll help you choose a set, just stand still!"

Kudo Yuichi took a few steps back, looked at Uesugi Kiyoshi with an ambiguous look, and said with some emotion: "Well, your figure is like a clothes rack."

"She looks okay, but her squinty eyes kind of ruin her image."

Kudo Yuichi looked so regretful that Uesugi Kiyoshi rolled his eyes helplessly.

"You are the only one who has no right to say that to me!"

The reason for this complaint is that his good friend Uesugi Kiyoshi has squinty eyes like him, and they are equally matched and it is hard to tell who is better.

"This. This and this."

"Well, your height can support this kind of clothes, not bad, go change it and show it to me!"

Kudo Yuichi did not respond to Uesugi Kiyoshi's words, but instead walked through the clothes racks, quickly selected a set of clothes, and threw it to Uesugi Kiyoshi with some disgust.

"There's a changing room over there. Throw away your sportswear. It's embarrassing to wear it!"

Uesugi Kiyoshi was too lazy to argue with Kudo Yuichi, so he held his clothes and squeezed into the changing room in the corner of the room.

Two minutes later, the curtain of the dressing room was drawn, and a brand new Uesugi Kiyoshi appeared in front of Kudo Yuichi.

The black slim-fit breeches fit tightly around his slender legs, reaching ten centimeters below the knees, where they were cut off by a pair of exquisite leather knight boots. The overall look gave off a solemn and solemn feeling.

His upper body was wearing a simple-looking pure white shirt. Uesugi Kiyoshi slightly adjusted the cuffs of his shirt, raised his eyes and looked at Kudo Yuichi with a look of satisfaction.

He just looked in the mirror, and it is true that clothes make the man, this expensive-looking outfit brings out his temperament and looks even better.

Kudo Yuichi nodded with a sigh.

"Sure, sure. If you go to a gigolo club like this, you'll probably be accepted without taking the test. If you can be a little sweeter, it won't be a problem for you to become the top girl."

"Well, there's one last thing missing."

Walking a few steps forward and approaching Uesugi Kiyoshi, Kudo Yuichi opened an inky black box in his hand and took out a pair of exquisite retro gold-rimmed glasses - with a gold glasses chain.

This is a flat mirror.

After putting the gold-rimmed glasses on Uesugi Kiyoshi's nose, Kudo Yuichi clapped his hands suddenly, took a step back, and admired his masterpiece.

I don't know what the principle is, this is obviously just a plain glass, but Uesugi Kiyoshi's eyes seem to be magnified, making his squinty eyes look much more normal.

"Okay, this is our standard equipment."

"Wait and take another set home as a backup. Wear this when you go on missions in the future."

Uesugi Kiyoshi pushed his glasses on his nose helplessly. He wore glasses in his previous life, so he was not very opposed to this. He just asked in confusion: "You want me to chop people while wearing glasses?"

Kudo Yuichi looked at Uesugi Kiyoshi with a very subtle look.

"Can't you just take it off when you're fighting? Just put it in any pocket. It looks delicate, but it's actually very strong and won't break."

"Your clothes, pants and shoes are not as valuable as this pair of glasses, do you know that?"

"Those clothes are standard equipment, manufactured on an assembly line. This pair of [Yuanming Mirror] was made by a skilled craftsman among the prophets. It is a pure handmade product. If it is thrown into an auction outside, it will be unsalable. Neither Heian-kyo nor the Shinsengumi have this technology. In Tokyo, our association is the only one that has it."

"."

Kudo Yuichi looked at Uesugi Kiyoshi's expression with some disapproval, and said in a strange tone: "You don't think these are just ordinary equipment, do you?"

"Don't make a fuss. These are Spiritual Gathering Equipment that the Association's researchers have spent a lot of effort to continuously improve and transform. They are not just ornaments sold in specialty stores."

"Try pouring your spiritual power into this!"

Uesugi Kiyoshi frowned in silence.

He has no "spiritual power".

Seeing Uesugi Kiyoshi's reaction, Kudo Yuichi suddenly realized.

"Oh, yes, you swordsmen are practitioners, so it shouldn't be called spiritual power."

"The energy of evil spirits is called ghost energy, the energy of gods is called divine power, the energy of Yin and Yang masters is called spiritual power, the energy of linkers is called soul power, and you swordsmen should call it qi?"

"I'm used to calling it spiritual power."

"It's the same thing anyway, just a term used to describe extraordinary power."

"The reason why extraordinary people are clearly different from ordinary people is that their inspiration is high enough and their souls are strong enough that they can use their thoughts to drive the extraordinary power that exists in this world and use it for their own benefit."

"Try injecting your energy into these clothes and glasses!"
