"You're a pervert!" I stepped back as I watched him approach. I couldn't help but curse him. This guy is crazy! Even the classmates who were walking on the playground nearby looked over at his shouting.
"If it's such a boring thing, I'll leave first. Bye." Worried that the situation would escalate, I turned around and prepared to leave.
"Wait a minute!" Xu Jianlin stopped me and suddenly asked calmly, "So, what's said on the Internet is true, right?"
"What's on the Internet is true?" I looked at him with disgust. I had never thought that a boy could make me hate him to this extent.
"It's said on the Internet that you like girls." He lowered his head and clenched his fists and said, "You like Tang Xin, right!"
I was stunned. It turned out that the things on the forum had a significant impact.
"It's none of your business who I like!"
"Sure enough, you really like girls, right!" Xu Jianlin sneered.
"Goodbye!" I didn't plan to answer his question, I turned around and walked back. I really didn't realize that the monitor was such a person. I used to think he was a straight man, but now he is getting worse and worse, making himself look like the protagonist in some animation.
……
"You're back so soon?" When we got back to the dormitory, Tang Xin leaned over the railing of the upper bunk and looked down at me, "What's going on?"
"What else could it be?" I got goosebumps all over my body when I thought of Xu Jianlin's behavior just now. "That guy is an absolute pervert."
"Pervert?" Bai Xilu and Zhang Xueyan became interested when they heard this word from my mouth.
"Yeah! It's become perverted!"
I told the three girls everything that happened on the playground. After listening to me, their eyes widened and they all expressed disbelief.
"The squad leader is actually a masochist!" Zhang Xueyan exclaimed.
"Yeah, he looked like a top, but turned out to be a bottom." Bai Xilu nodded.
"I'll go with you next time. I'm afraid he might lose his mind and do something to you." Tang Xin was a little worried.
"There won't be a next time! Can't I just hide?" I said helplessly.

Chapter 1: Escape from the Secret Room ()
A week later, the May Day holiday arrived. This was probably the last good holiday before the third year of high school. The teachers tacitly left us some symbolic homework, as if they wanted us to make a final struggle during this holiday.
"Xiao Meng, where are we going to go for the May Day holiday?" Tang Xin hadn't even gone home yet, and she had already pulled me aside to discuss holiday plans.
"Holidays? I'm not looking forward to it." I shook my head. "Just lying around at home and eating?"
"That's really your style." Tang Xin covered her head and said desperately, "Let's find a place to travel!"
"May Day is the golden week, aren't you afraid of traffic jams along the way?" I am most afraid of traffic jams in my life. Once I am stuck on the road, I will become anxious.
"That's right. Do you want to go to the board game store together? Escape room or something!" Tang Xin suddenly pulled my hand, her eyes shining with gold, and said excitedly!
"Escape from the secret room?" I started to imagine Tang Xin's frightened look in the secret room, and a man dressed as a ghost suddenly appeared. Tang Xin screamed and fell into my arms.
"Hey hey hey..."
"Hey, hey, hey, why are you grinning like an idiot?" Tang Xin waved her hand in front of my eyes.
"Ahem, nothing. Let's go escape the room!" I wiped the saliva from the corner of my mouth, returned to my normal state, and nodded.
……
On May 1st, the official holiday, Tang Xin and I agreed to meet in front of the Wanda Escape Room store.
"Wow, it's so hot!" Tang Xin came a little late. At this moment, she was wearing a pair of super short hot pants and walked in front of me, fanning herself with her hands.
I stared at her two white thighs and couldn't move my eyes away. This girl was wearing too hot! The pants were almost up to her thighs!
"Xiao Meng is so lustful! Staring at me!" Tang Xin pretended to be shy, but actually didn't use her hands to cover anything. Instead, she took a step closer and almost put her legs against me.
"No way! I just think you're too bold." My face turned slightly red. The more my inner thoughts were exposed, the more shameless I became.
"Xiao Meng finally wore a short skirt today!" She looked at me and said in surprise, "Although this skirt is not shorter than the knees! But for Xiao Meng, it is already a big improvement!"
"Didn't you say you like to see me wearing a short skirt? I bought this online a while ago. Is it okay?" I felt a little happy inside and turned around to show her.
"Yeah! I like it!" Tang Xin nodded vigorously, took my hand and walked towards the escape room store.
Li Xiao, you have thrown your male dignity to the wind! I was following Tang Xin and complaining in my heart, you are becoming more and more like a real girl! Look, you can even do the behavior of spinning in circles and posing in a skirt!
No! No! Another part of me struggled, I am doing this for Tang Xin to see! Only she can see it! If Tang Xin likes it, I can do anything!
Tsk, why are you calling Xu Jianlin a pervert, but you are the same yourself? What a double standard!
"Why are you stunned again~" Tang Xin suddenly shook my shoulders.
"Ah? Oh, nothing, I was just thinking about something happy." I said seriously.
"Oh, it's time to choose the script. Which one do you want to play?" Tang Xin asked me, pointing to the four rooms above the front desk.
I looked up and saw four different game rooms, one for a ghost castle, one for a tomb exploration, one for a wilderness villa, and one for a museum escape. All four rooms had scary posters with skulls, ghosts, bloodstains, murder weapons, and everything in between.
"How about a haunted castle?" I chose a level that looked relatively the scariest.
"Xiao Meng can play whatever he wants. I've never played it before anyway." Tang Xin nodded.
"Have you made your choice? The Haunted Castle, right?" the waiter asked enthusiastically.
"Well, yes!" I was already eager to make a move, and had already started to think about how to take advantage of Tang Xin.
"The recommended number of people for this level is 2-4 people. If there are only two of you, it will be more difficult!" the waiter reminded.
"It's okay! Xiaomeng is very good!" Tang Xin praised me, "I'm sure you can pass it."
"Well, both of you give us your phones for safekeeping. I'll take you inside."
After taking our phones away, the waiter took us into a dark room and reminded us before leaving: "You have three chances to remind yourself. If you encounter a problem you can't solve, just shout. We can see your progress on the camera."
"Okay~" I nodded and said goodbye to the waiter.
"Tsk, there's a camera..." Tang Xin spat softly.
"What did you say?" I asked, holding her hand.
"Ah, nothing."
The lights in the secret room dimly lit up. Because it was a shopping mall, the venue didn't seem that big, but the design and decoration were okay. There were two chairs, a fireplace, a few murals, and a desk in the room. There was a piece of paper on the desk with a few lines of words written on it.
"This is a cursed castle. The first owner of the castle is not dead. He and the castle are immortal! As long as he is there, the castle exists. He is invincible! Those who see this note have fallen into the devil's trap. Follow my instructions and escape. You still have a chance to survive." Tang Xin picked up the note and read it.
"Pfft, I feel really involved!" I laughed.
"Hmm~ I have a feeling about that." Tang Xin nodded and continued reading: "Turn on the lamp on the table, and you will see the first clue."
"Desk lamp?" I lay on the table and studied the desk lamp.
This is a metal-shell desk lamp with a milky white translucent umbrella-shaped lampshade. Strangely, there is no switch, only a keyhole.
"Which genius designed this desk lamp? I have to find the key when I get home to turn on the light?" I complained.
"Hahaha, it's just a game, don't take it seriously!" Tang Xin covered her mouth and laughed, "Look in the drawer?"
Without waiting for Tang Xin to make a move, I started searching through the drawers and, sure enough, the key was in the drawer, and I also found a pocket watch.
"Is this a watch?" I opened the watch cover and saw the hands inside were still ticking. There seemed to be something written in red on the dial, but due to the weak light, I couldn't see it clearly.
"Don't worry about it for now, just turn on the light!" Tang Xin took the key from my hand and quickly inserted it into the desk lamp.
The desk lamp suddenly lit up, and the room became much brighter. As the light came on, the surrounding murals changed from normal landscapes to a horrible bloody world. It was like the other world in Silent Hill, and even many bloody handprints appeared on the walls.
I subconsciously held Tang Xin's hand tightly, and there seemed to be a lot of sweat on her palms.
-
I've been having trouble writing lately. I use my brain too much at work, and when I get off work I just want to sleep. I have to think of a way to adjust my state.
Chapter 2: Escape from the Secret Room ()
"It's a little scary!" I looked at Tang Xin, and she nodded at me.
"So where are the clues?" Tang Xin asked me.
Except for the lights coming on, the surrounding environment has become more terrifying, and it seems that there are really no useful clues. Are we trapped in the first level? I was so confident that I could escape from this castle, but I was slapped in the face so quickly.
I looked back at the lamp and there seemed to be some pattern on the top of the white lampshade.
Pattern! Look up! I looked up suddenly and saw the projection on the ceiling. There was already half a silhouette painting on the ceiling, and the projection just filled in the other half. It was just that I needed to move the desk lamp to make the two paintings overlap seamlessly.
"I'll do it!" Tang Xin quickly understood what it meant and turned the lamp. The images were perfectly stitched together. It was a silhouette of a demon with bared fangs and claws, and it looked like it was smiling at us. At the moment of overlap, the surrounding paintings changed again due to the changing angle of the light.
A line of numbers was faintly visible on one of the paintings.
"1215?" Tang Xin leaned in to take a closer look, read out the numbers, and turned back to ask me, "Does it have any special meaning? Or is there some combination lock here?"
"I searched everywhere just now. I didn't see any combination lock or anything like that. There's only this watch." I shook my head, took out the pocket watch from my pocket and handed it to Tang Xin.
"Watch? Is it the time?" Tang Xin looked at the time, which showed exactly twelve o'clock.
"Why don't you try adjusting it to 12:?" I agreed with her.
As the minute hand stopped at 15 minutes, a crack appeared on the wall beside it, as if a secret door had been opened. A piece of paper slid down the crack and fell to the ground.
"Success!" Tang Xin ran over excitedly and picked it up.
"Poor adventurer, when you see this note, it means you are getting deeper and deeper into trouble! The devil's sacrifice is about to begin, and you will become his living sacrifices. Escape through this secret door! Before the devil fully wakes up! Quick!"
I pushed the door gently, and it creaked open. Looking out, I saw a dark, bottomless passage.
"It's so dark!" Tang Xin frowned.
"The first level means we have passed it. Let's go to the second level!" I took her hand and walked inside.
"Don't be afraid, it's just a game. It's nothing special except that it's a little dark!" I comforted her.
"Yeah." Tang Xin responded behind me.
Suddenly! I felt Tang Xin holding my other hand, and I asked, "Why are you holding both of my hands?"
"Eh? I only held Xiaomeng's hand!" Tang Xin answered me strangely.
For a moment, I froze in place and mechanically turned my head to look to the other side. I saw a dimly glowing skeleton holding my hand, less than half a meter away from me. Although I was prepared for this game, this sudden shock caused my heart and lungs to stop functioning!
