……

Chapter 41 The Hand of Forging (Please read on, please vote, thank you meow!!!)

"Wow, it's that classic three-choice-one-option segment again?"

Luo Xia looked at the three class-specific skills he could choose after the class upgrade, raised an eyebrow, and stroked his chin as he pondered.

Forging Hands, Flame Affinity, and Unyielding Will—these three skills seem quite good at first glance, perfectly matching the characteristics of the Salamander Chapter.

Among them, the Flame Affinity allows Rorschach to further enhance his control over flames, which is undoubtedly a huge boost for Rorschach who is practicing the Fire Serpent Breathing Technique!

It might even allow Rorschach to acquire some fire-based extraordinary abilities ahead of time.

An indomitable will is even more significant. In the Warhammer 40 world, where warp gods are watching, a strong will is undoubtedly the best way to save one's life. After all, no one wants to be corrupted into a mindless Chaos Egg.

As for the final forging skill, that is the signature skill of the Salamander Legion. Every Salamander warrior can be considered an outstanding master craftsman.

"Although an indomitable will is appealing, how could I, Luo Xia, a law-abiding citizen who is absolutely loyal to the great Emperor, possibly be corrupted by Chaos?"

Luo Xia immediately ruled out option three. After all, he could fool the Wise System all the time, but he couldn't actually fool himself.

The swordsmanship and magic that Rorschach transmigrated into was absolutely authentic, not the chainsaw swords and psionic powers that this intelligent system claimed to be using!

But even if it's true...

But Rorschach still holds the titles of the Emperor, Khorne, and Slaanesh, the three chosen gods, and he's even flirting with the Thirteenth Prince right now. He's practically ready to become the regent of the Second Empire.

With such a status, who would dare to corrupt Luo Xia? And who could possibly corrupt him!

If you're so capable, let the little blue bird come too!

Just wait and see if I, Luo Xiacheng, become the Bluebird's chosen one!

"As for fire affinity, I already have the Fire Serpent Spirit. Although it's good, it doesn't really help me much. It's just icing on the cake."

After some analysis, Luo Xia finally focused his attention on the [Forging Hand].

After all, as a great salamander warrior, blacksmithing was Rorschach's job!

"Besides, can a fire lizard that can't forge iron still be called a fire lizard?"

"I choose the Hand of Forging!"

As Luo Xia made up his mind and made his choice, he immediately felt a heat in his palms, and a strange muscle memory merged into his arms. It even seemed as if the bones in his fingers had become thicker.

[You have selected the class-specific skill: Hand of Forging!]

[Ding ding ding! The Salamander Primarch, Vulcan, casts an approving glance at your choice, a hint of a satisfied smile on his face. He believes you've grasped the true essence of the Salamander: "Forging iron! That's a man's romance!" So he decides to continue testing you!]

[Your exclusive Salamander Warrior class quest (Part 2) has been unlocked!]

Please select one of the following tasks.

"Hiss, is this what the intern's tasks are after becoming a full-time employee?"

"This is way too hard!"

Looking at the classic three-choice question that had reappeared before him, Luo Xia felt his teeth ache and his scalp tingle.

Build Italian cannons for Iron Warriors, turtle shells for Ultra Warriors, and even motorcycles for White Scars?

I'm awesome!

Vulcan really thinks of Rorschach as an all-around craftsman, doesn't he?

You're giving me a task, okay?

Luo Xia was speechless. Each of these three tasks was dozens of times more difficult than the previous skinning work!

Especially building motorcycles for white scars, that's a really technical job!

Moreover, in his previous life, Luo Xia failed his driver's license test several times, so how could he possibly know how to build this thing?

Isn't this putting Rorschach in a difficult position?

"However, the rewards are getting more and more generous."

Luo Xia's eyes lit up as he looked at the mission rewards.

Whichever of these three tasks you choose, the rewards are significantly higher than those of the previous skinning task.

In particular, professional experience is crucial to whether Luo Xia can quickly improve his strength.

"The Ultramarines' defensive armor sounds like pure physical labor, it should be the simplest thing."

"The siege equipment of the Iron Warriors probably involves some mechanical principles and is of medium difficulty. But which city are you attacking if you want siege equipment?"

Rorschach ultimately chose to do his best for the great regent, and as for the Khan, he could only apologize.

As for Iron Warrior?

That's a traitor! While Peturabo's defection was understandable, it didn't involve a sacrifice too great to be acceptable!

There was no betrayal small enough to be acceptable!

The great Emperor Hook is loyal!

You have chosen to forge defensive armor for the 'Ultraman'!

[You truly deserve the Emperor's Holy Fist, absolutely loyal to the Great Emperor's Hook! Faced with loyalty and self-interest, you resolutely chose loyalty!]

Your choice earned the approval of the great emperor on his golden throne, and even the great regent, who came here to 'use the emperor to command the nobles,' looked at you with admiration, indicating that he had not misjudged you!

As Luo Xia made his choice, the system space in front of him underwent a dramatic change.

The mountains of beast carcasses and hides vanished instantly, replaced by a massive furnace and mountains of metal ore piled up around it.

Inside the furnace, a raging fire was burning, radiating astonishing heat.

On the forging table to the side, all kinds of forging tools were neatly arranged, from forging hammers to engraving knives.

"Wow, this Emperor's black workshop is really high-class. There's not even a loading screen when the scene changes."

Luo Xia couldn't help but exclaim in amazement as he watched what had originally been a shady workshop evolve into a high-end blacksmith shop.

This system space can even automatically change scenes according to the content of the task; it's practically a mobile production base!

Mom won't have to worry about me being late for work anymore!

"Looks like tonight will be another sleepless night."

Luo Xia sighed, but his heart was filled with enthusiasm.

After all, what does suffering matter if you can become stronger?

Rorschach is the one who is least afraid of hardship!

……

When Rorschach regained consciousness, the sky outside the window was already bright.

A brand new day has begun!

Luo Xia sat up in bed feeling quite refreshed. After a night of 'effort,' his various attributes had improved slightly, although it wasn't as satisfying as directly adding points.

But this kind of improvement achieved through one's own hard work is equally captivating.

When Luo Xia finished washing up, changed into his school uniform, and went downstairs, the other members of the Extreme Team had also gradually gotten up.

It must be said that Luo Xia's training session yesterday was effective; at least Anthony and the others had never slept so soundly.

"Good morning, Captain!"

When Anthony and his companions saw Luo Xia, they greeted him respectfully, their hearts filled with awe.

After all, the battle last night was still fresh in our minds.

"Let's go to the cafeteria, it's on me today!"

Luo Xia waved his hand dismissively, speaking in high spirits.

He, Rorschach, is now a man with a fortune of thousands of pounds, so what's wrong with treating his team to a big meal!

Of course, the college cafeteria is free.

But isn't this the feeling of being treated to a meal exactly what Rorschach wanted?

Chapter 42 School Bullying, A Heavy Blow! (Please read on, please vote, thank you meow!!!)

"Captain, have you heard?"

"A formidable fighter has recently emerged in the Night Owl Arena! His codename is 'Khorne,' and he took down more than a dozen opponents in a single day. He even killed 'Blood Butcher,' a fighter in the high-level arena, with a single punch!"

As Anthony elegantly cut his steak, he also joined in the gossip with Rorschach.

After all, that 'Khorne' appeared when the captain went to Night Owl Market that day, and Anthony felt that the captain should also know about it.
