He promised to become a knight, but what the heck is Astartes?

Now, Luo Xia can easily crush his opponents of the same level with his superhuman physical abilities.

But Rorschach also knew that this was only temporary.

As opponents grow stronger and their life cycle levels increase, brute force will eventually be overwhelmed by skill.

Of course, you could also say that Rorschach's stats aren't high enough. After all, if he had absolute stats, he would be able to crush everything.

But Rorschach felt that since he bore the name of Astartes, he should be able to fight against opponents of higher levels. What was the point of always bullying the weak?

Furthermore, can a genius who cannot fight against opponents of a higher level still be called a genius?

Of course, the most important thing is that the great Regent Prince, the Thirteenth Prince, has personally stepped in to test himself.

If Luo Xia doesn't make a show of himself, wouldn't he be letting down the other party's good intentions?

If the Chaos God saw this, he would think that Luo Xia really had no strength!

"Knightly skills?"

Cliff was taken aback by what he heard, and then carefully examined the boy in front of him, a thought stirring in his heart.

During the squire training phase, the main teaching objective of the War Knight Academy is to help students complete the life force cycle as quickly as possible, laying a solid foundation for becoming a formal knight.

As for knightly skills, those are things that are systematically learned only after entering the knight trainee stage, or even after becoming a formal knight.

However, if one learns skills in advance, it often distracts one's energy and slows down the cycle of life force.

After all, how can you talk about skills if you don't even have vitality?

But if it's a genius like Rorschach...

Thinking this, Cliff asked with a hint of anticipation:

"What level has your life force cycle reached?"

Rorschach was now able to control his own life force and keep his life magnetic field inward, so Cliff could no longer detect any fluctuations in his life force.

"Fifty-nine floors."

Rorschach answered truthfully in response.

"hiss……"

Even though he was somewhat prepared, Cliff still couldn't help but gasp when he heard the number.

Fifty-nine floors!

It's only been a few days! From breaking through to the 30th level of Narosha's first breathing technique, to now, after just one weekend, he has soared to the 59th level!

This speed of cultivation has exceeded Cliff's comprehension!

"So, you really... subdued the spirit of the fire serpent?"

Cliff's voice was a little hoarse. If he had only guessed when he saw Rorschach's 'Life Transformation' before, now he was certain!

"Yes."

Luo Xia nodded calmly upon hearing this. He knew it was shocking, but it was proof of his hard work and sweat. Under the overwhelming power of mental attributes, the Fire Serpent Spirit was no match for Luo Xia in the tug-of-war.

After receiving Rorschach's affirmative answer, Cliff fell silent.

He paced back and forth for a long time, his hands behind his back, as if making a difficult decision.

Finally, Cliff stopped and looked intently at Rorschach, a glint of light flashing in his grey-brown eyes.

"Come with me."

Cliff didn't say much, but simply turned and walked towards the back of the War Academy.

Seeing this, Rorschach was also somewhat excited. It seemed that geniuses really did receive preferential treatment! He then quickly followed Cliff's footsteps.

The two walked one after the other through the training ground and around the living area, and soon arrived at a quiet birch forest behind the academy.

"Now that you have subdued the Spirit of Life, you are indeed qualified to engage in true knightly arts."

Cliff casually broke off a birch branch, weighed it in his hand, and explained to Rorschach:

"Just like I said in the last class, a knight's strength is based on vitality, while skill is the means to bring that power to its fullest potential!"

"Therefore, a knight's skill is an extension of power and the ultimate use of vitality."

As he spoke, Cliff drew three marks on the ground with a twig. "In the Holy Empire, we knights divide our skills into three realms and nine ranks!"

"The basic realm, the subtle realm, and the realm of artistic conception!"

'Skills have three realms and nine levels...'

Rorschach's eyes lit up at Cliff's words.

This is really valuable information; I had never heard of such an explanation before.

"And the minimum standard for becoming a true extraordinary knight is to reach the 'microscopic' level of skill!"

Chapter 38 Recommendation Letter for Swordsmanship Training from the Western Sword Immortal (Please read on!!! Thank you, meow!!!)

"The basic realm has three stages: rudimentary, proficient, and masterful!"

"Most people in the Empire can be described as having rudimentary skills, but once they become proficient with their weapons, that's when they reach the level of proficiency!"

"Therefore, the level of an ordinary soldier in the Empire is simply that he is proficient in basic skills."

"As for those who are skilled in their craft, that's the level of those battle-hardened veterans and quasi-knights within the empire!"

"As for microscopic skills, that is the threshold for a true extraordinary knight!"

"When you reach this level, you will be able to precisely control your strength and vitality to every corner of your body, to every inch of your muscles! This will prevent your power from leaking out and instead concentrate it on a single point..."

As he spoke, Cliff flicked his wrist, and the branch in his hand shot forward at will!

"laugh!"

A sharp, explosive sound suddenly filled the air.

The tip of the branch suddenly emitted a visible shockwave, precisely piercing the center of a fallen leaf several meters away, while the leaf itself remained unharmed.

Seeing this, Luo Xia was secretly startled.

After all, if what Cliff said is true, and the effect he is demonstrating now is just too great, then the difference between basic skills and microscopic skills is simply too great!

"This is the first stage of entering the subtle realm, the first step of achieving mastery in the subtle realm."

"The second stage is the mastery of subtlety! Your skills are completely integrated into your instincts, and without the slightest thought, your body will automatically make the most correct response."

"As for the third stage, it is the perfection of the subtle realm..."

Cliff pulled back the branch, then suddenly swung it forward.

Instantly, a visible blue crescent-shaped blade of energy flew out from the branch and cleaved a birch tree in half.

Luo Xia stared intently at the cut, which was perfectly smooth, with gusts of cold air emanating from it, as if it had been meticulously treated to a spa.

"This is the perfection of subtlety, the perfect combination of skill and vitality, multiplying its power!"

"My swordsmanship and footwork have reached the pinnacle of perfection, and I am quite well-known within the Graymane Knights."

Cliff's tone carried a hint of arrogance, clearly indicating his considerable confidence in his abilities.

Upon hearing this, Rorschach nodded, gaining a clearer understanding of the knight's skills.

From this perspective, his previous battles were entirely based on numerical superiority through his abnormal physical attributes, without any skill whatsoever.

If he encounters an opponent with similar stats but superior skills in the future, Rorschach will definitely suffer a great loss!

"The realm of artistic conception, the level of skill, is still too far from your current level. Knowing it would be of no use."

Is it that you don't know it, or Mr. Cliff, you simply don't know it at all?

Luo Xia inwardly scoffed, then sincerely pleaded with both hands:

"Teacher, I want to learn knightly skills!"

"You, you."

Seeing Rorschach's eager little eyes, hands clasped together, Cliff smiled and pointed at him, then said:

"Since that's the case, today I will teach you a basic footwork technique called 'Flowing Water Step' and a basic sword technique called 'Wind-Breaking Sword Technique'."

Cliff tossed the branch to Rorschach, took out a knight's longsword from his storage ring, and then explained:

"Although these two sets are only basic skills, they are easy to learn and will be sufficient for you to use until you reach the formal knight stage."

"And when you become a full knight, you can use your credits to exchange for higher-level skill manuals at the academy's Hall of Merit."

As he spoke, Cliff picked up his knight's longsword and began demonstrating it to Rorschach.

"Watch closely, the essence of the Flowing Water Step lies in the fact that the flowing water doesn't strive to be first, but rather to flow endlessly..."

Cliff moved through the forest with the speed of flowing water, seemingly incredibly slow, yet always dodging obstacles in front of him at angles that shocked Rorschach.

"The Wind-Breaking Sword Technique emphasizes being as gentle as the wind, yet as fierce as the wind!"

Rorschach stood aside, meticulously memorizing every single movement Cliff made.

"Could it really be that he was usurped?"

Upon seeing the Regent mission reappear in the Wise System, Rorschach, who hadn't seen the Great Emperor Hook for several days, was overjoyed.

At this moment, there is reason to suspect that his great emperor has been completely sidelined by the regent!

Is a second empire about to emerge?!
