He promised to become a knight, but what the heck is Astartes?

"Am I, Rorschach, truly the luckiest man in the world?"

Luo Xia looked at the blood-red panel that popped up in front of him and jumped up from the ground in excitement.

That's a chainsaw sword!

Now Rorschach is all set, he has both sword and magic!

"Khorne 888! Only Boss Khorne can be so magnanimous! What Emperor Hook, Terra Regent, Second Empire Warmaster, none of them can compare to my great Lord Khorne!"

"From now on, I, Rorschach, will be absolutely loyal to the great Lord Khorne!"

Rorschach cried out in his heart, feeling that all his suffering had finally come to an end, and that his sacrifice for Khorne had not been in vain.

After all, even though he's an evil god, he's a good thing when sacrificed!

I'm talking about your great Emperor Hook!

Try to figure out the reason yourself, since you're just sitting on the golden throne doing nothing all day anyway...

"Ahem, just kidding."

Rorschach's absolute loyalty to Khorne lasted only eight seconds before he returned to the embrace of the Great Emperor's hook.

After all, the great emperor is the beacon of humanity, as for the boss Khorne...

Yes, he's an excellent gacha game designer and a perfect equipment supplier.

As the blood-flame disc in mid-air shattered, it transformed back into the skull of Khorne.

A heavy melee weapon with a savage design and a ferocious aura appeared in Rorschach's hands.

This chainsaw sword is enormous. Its blade is the blood-red color of a world-devourer, and its edge is lined with rows of jagged serrations made of an unknown metal. At the hilt is a brass skull with blood flames burning in its eye sockets, just like those of Khorne's skull.

The World Eater Chainsaw Sword

[Quality: Red]

[Description: The standard melee weapon of the World Eater Legion's Space Marines! The roar of engines tearing through enemy flesh and armor is the most delightful accompaniment to the great Blood God.]

[Effect 1: Devouring Fangs: After activation, the chainsaw sword's serrations spin at high speed, ignoring the physical defense of any extraordinary creature below Tier 4!]

[Effect Two: Bloodlust: The chainsaw sword has a built-in Khorne power engine in the subspace, which actively draws blood from enemies as it cuts through their flesh to replenish the engine's power!]

[Effect 3: Raging Roar: After activating the chainsaw sword, the engine's roar has a mental shock effect, causing weak-willed enemies to be briefly fearful and stunned!]

"Gurgle..."

"This...this is simply the most perfect close-combat weapon!"

Rorschach stroked the cold, rough chainsaw sword, as if it had been forged in some small workshop, feeling the violent power contained within it, and couldn't suppress the smile on his lips.

"Boom! Buzzing!!!"

As Rorschach gripped the hilt with one hand, he pressed the chainsaw sword's activation switch with his thumb.

Suddenly, a violent roar resounded throughout the quiet training room.

The serrated edge of the chainsaw sword was spinning at high speed, completely turning into a blurry afterimage.

"That's too violent."

As Luo Xia gripped the hilt of the sword, he felt an incredibly violent vibration instantly travel through his entire body from the hilt after activating the chainsaw.

If Rorschach hadn't just completed the second stage of Astartes' skeletal enhancement, his current physique would be over thirty.

The force of the shock alone could probably break a novice knight's arm and dislocate his internal organs.

"But this is the weapon a real man should use! Just holding it feels amazing!"

Luo Xia waved his hand excitedly a few times, leaving behind several long, lingering crimson afterimages in the air.

Seeing this, Luo Xia had a thought and took out the [World Devourer's Bomb Gun] from his system space.

At this moment, Rorschach held a rough and bloody bomb gun in his left hand and a roaring chainsaw sword in his right, and suddenly became somewhat spirited.

Of course, it would be even more perfect if we also had power armor at this moment!

"However, in close combat, a chainsaw sword can tear everything apart, far surpassing the ability to blast everything apart with a bomb gun..."

"Now, adults, times have truly changed!"

The era of Space Marines will be ushered in by Rorschach!

……

After calming down from the excitement of drawing a gold card, Rorschach put away his chainsaw sword and sat down cross-legged again.

He then took out all the resources he had exchanged for his imperial war merits, as well as the resources given to him by his teacher Augustus, and laid them out in front of him.

The items included deep-sea behemoth bone marrow fluid, golden Titan potion, dragon blood life potion, high-purity life crystal, and five scrolls of spell models radiating blue light.

"Let's start by improving our physical fitness."

Once Luo Xia had set his goal in mind, he didn't hesitate at all. He picked up the bottle of 'deep-sea behemoth bone marrow fluid' that emitted a dark blue light and drank it all in one gulp.

"boom!"

An extremely cold current rushed into Luo Xia's bones the moment it entered his body.

Although the second phase of Astartes' bone-strengthening surgery gave Rorschach a skeleton comparable to steel, it only changed the structure and density of his bones.

To truly achieve an indestructible state, one needs to eat more foods rich in metallic energy, or take bone marrow fluid that can deeply temper the bones.

"Sigh~"

Sensing the bone-chilling cold emanating from his body, Luo Xia gasped, feeling as if his soul was about to leave his body.

This sensation is like having ice needles scraping your bones...

"That feels so good!"

As the piercing sensation subsided, Luo Xia stretched his limbs and felt as if he had lightened up considerably, as if a burden had been lifted.

[Body quality 36.4 37.4!]

"Just one bottle of bone marrow fluid can directly increase my physique by 1 point! It's really worth it!"

Rorschach was very satisfied. After calming down for a while, he picked up the 'Golden Titan Potion' again and drank it all in one gulp.

The Golden Titan Potion is said to be made by diluting the blood of the legendary Golden Titan and then adding various magical potions.

Even if it's the blood of a golden Titan diluted countless times, its value is beyond the reach of ordinary high knights.

After all, the Golden Titan is a being capable of tearing apart dragons with its bare hands and treating them as food!

As the Golden Titan Elixir entered his throat, Rorschach felt as if a small sun had appeared inside him again.

Then the little sun exploded with a roar, and an incomparably powerful and violent torrent of energy instantly swept through Luo Xia's limbs and bones.

Luo Xia's life magnetic field began to rotate invisibly, and the life cycle that had reached over 120 layers after the breakthrough began to operate.

During this process, Luo Xia directly used his life magnetic field to shatter the two bottles of Dragon Blood Life Potions, turning them into pure life energy which he then absorbed into his body to stabilize his rapidly growing life cycle.

Time passed slowly.

For a full day and night, Rorschach was immersed in deep training brought about by the Golden Titan Elixir.

When Luo Xia opened his eyes again, the entire training room looked as if it had been swept by a level 8 gale, completely chaotic.

Around Rorschach, there were shattered high-purity life crystals.

"This power... is simply incredible."

Luo Xia clenched his fist, feeling the power within him, as if he could truly tear a dragon apart with his bare hands.

"The life cycle of the Obsidian Breathing Technique has directly surged to one hundred and fifty layers!"

Once I complete another fifty cycles, I'll be able to advance to the mid-level knight rank!

Having just broken through to the beginner level of knight, he is already close to reaching the intermediate level. If word of this speed were to get out, it would probably scare all the other knight trainees in the same year to death!

After all, according to the Empire's research over the years, a knight trainee who has just broken through to the initial knight level needs a full three months to become an intermediate knight, even with the availability of resources.

Humans have their limits; even with abundant resources, one must be able to manage them.

But unfortunately, Rorschach had long since stopped being human!

He is an Astartes who has undergone modification, so Rorschach has no limits!

"However, as Professor Augustus said, the Obsidian Dragon Spirit and the Obsidian Demon God Body have the potential to become legends..."

Could it be because he saw my Black Sun?

Obsidian Breathing is the name Rorschach gave to his three-in-one breathing technique.

As for the Obsidian Dragon and the Obsidian God, they are clearly the names corresponding to the extraordinary spirit and the extraordinary body.

As a man of great ambition, Luo Xia felt that his chosen name was quite sophisticated.

After praising himself, Rorschach began to secretly sense things.

At this moment, the Obsidian Dragon Spirit, residing beneath the black sun within its body and atop the life-seed, was filled with curiosity.

After all, Luo Xia was quite shocked that the other party could undergo such a change.

Originally, under the influence of the Golden Blessing, Rorschach combined the three breathing techniques into one, which was enough to produce a transcendent spirit like the Black Dragon Knight. Rorschach was already quite surprised.

Now, after condensing a transcendent body, the transcendent spirit has evolved once again into the humanoid Obsidian Demon God, and the dark aura emanating from it has made Luo Xia even more suspicious.

"It's probably Emperor Hook's doing again."

Rorschach speculated.

After all, the fact that he could awaken the Black Sun gene talent clearly meant that the yellow weasel had ill intentions.

"But none of that matters. Only one's own strength is eternal!"

Emperor's Holy Fist Rorschach

[Attributes: Strength 31.5, Constitution 39.8, Agility 26.2, Spirit 28.5]

"His strength has broken through the 30 mark, and his physique is approaching a terrifying 40 points!"

Luo Xia looked at his stats panel and was also very excited.

He now possesses the invincible strength of a knight!
