He promised to become a knight, but what the heck is Astartes?

It can be said that at this moment, the name Rorschach...

It has been completely imprinted in the hearts of these aspiring knights, and can never be erased.

“Rorschach…”

Elsa bit her lip, staring intently at the tall figure in black armor, a deep sense of powerlessness welling up inside her.

Elsa realized that even though she desperately chased after the figure, she couldn't close the distance between them at all. Instead, she could only watch the other person's back as it grew further and further away from her...

"In the Eighth Academy Freshman Competition, I will definitely defeat you, Luo Xia!"

Seeing his ranking on the leaderboard suppressed by Luo Xia, Elias clenched his fists, his eyes filled with fighting spirit as he looked at the black-armored youth.

After all, it is a blessing to have such a person among one's peers.

Only competition can motivate people!

"quiet!"

As the gates of Frost Fortress slowly closed, Renault's voice echoed throughout Blackrock Square.

"The hunting season is over! Everyone, enter the baptismal array now and prepare to ignite the flame of life!"

"I, Renault, wish you all a triumphant ride to the heavens!"

……

"Go in. With your current peak second-tier spirituality, the extraordinary body you can condense with the help of this sacred spring will definitely be the strongest in the entire history of the Imperial Knights' baptism!"

Inside the underground hall, Taylor looked at Rorschach, who had removed his armor, and his heart was filled with anticipation.

We've finally reached this point.

I wonder just how powerful the extraordinary body that can be formed by the spirituality of a second-tier peak Frost Giant and the perfect-level extraordinary spirit would be?

Taylor, who was secretly speculating in his heart, also reminded Rorschach after he grinned and entered the holy spring:

"Rorschach, you must be prepared to be baptized with the blood of the Holy Spring. This process will be extremely painful!"

The violent will and bloodlust within the dragon's blood will assault your soul the moment you ignite the spark of life.

If you can't withstand it, your entire being could be corrupted by that abyssal blood dragon.

Hearing Taylor's reminder, Rorschach gritted his teeth and nodded, enduring the excruciating pain.

"Hiss, I understand."

At this moment, as he absorbed the raging dragon blood in the blood pool, Luo Xia could clearly feel his body being transformed by the violent power.

The body, which had been exhausted, was brought back to life by the dragon blood.

"Next step."

"Ignite the flame of life!"

Reno Fabius sat high atop the Black Tower, looking down at the quasi-knight in Black Rock Square below, and gave his orders.

Then, he instantly raised his hand, and a wave of magical power was sent into the baptismal array above.

"Activate the baptismal array!"

boom!

The crimson rune array covering the entire Frost Fortress was instantly activated by the opponent's magic power and began to slowly operate.

At the same moment, the prospective knights in the square had already sat cross-legged, closed their eyes, and began to mobilize the spiritual energy accumulated within their bodies. They used their own spirit to guide the spiritual energy to become kindling, to ignite the flame of their own lives!

In an instant, beams of light of various colors rose from the bodies of the prospective knights.

Those were the extraordinary spirits that they cultivated through breathing techniques. The appearance of these tens of thousands of extraordinary spirits instantly obscured the sky above the Frost Fortress.

As the life force of each prospective knight was ignited, the immense spirituality began to dissipate.

Immediately following the convergence of the baptismal array in the sky, a massive spiritual vortex with a diameter exceeding ten thousand meters was formed directly above the Frost Fortress.

"It's finally here!"

Upon sensing this scene, the twenty-four peak Earth Knights on the high platforms surrounding the plaza simultaneously opened their eyes, their gazes filled with brilliance.

They've been waiting for this moment for a long time!

Orus and the other top-tier Earth Knights exchanged glances and nodded.

"Break free from shackles with the help of the spiritual tide!"

With a command from Renault atop the Black Tower, everyone unleashed their powerful auras, drawing upon the spiritual vortex in mid-air to infuse themselves with their own life magnetic fields.

The Baptism of the Knights is a breakthrough celebration bestowed upon all knights by the God of War.

At this moment, anyone who stays in the Frost Fortress can feel the incredibly pure spiritual tide all around them.

This is a scene that is difficult to achieve in the real world, and it is also a scene that all knights yearn for.

Therefore, at this moment, every single one of them who has embarked on the path of knighthood begins to use their own life magnetic field to draw upon spirituality to cleanse themselves, thereby enhancing their knightly strength.

"This is a glorious era, and also a war that will determine the fate of the world!"

Atop the Black Tower, Renault gazed into the depths of the abyss, as if meeting the eyes of the Frost Giants, the strongest being in the abyss, who sat upon the Frost Throne.

"Norgard, remember our promise."

Renault muttered to himself, a smile playing on his lips as he watched the abyssal beasts raging in the distance from Frost Fortress.

"Spring is coming, and the ice and frost will eventually melt away..."

Chapter 143 Igniting the Flame of Life, Condensing an Extraordinary Body!

"Ignite the spark of life..."

At this moment, Luo Xia's eyes were closed, and his mental energy was completely absorbed into his body.

Guided by spiritual power, the vast, pure blue spiritual energy surged directly into the life-giving spark beneath the black sun.

"boom!"

Almost instantly, under such pure and perfect spirituality, Rorschach's life force was ignited.

Then, a phantom of a large black sun slowly rose from behind Luo Xia.

Then, amidst the blazing sun, a phantom of a black knight riding a black dragon and wielding a black spear slowly flew out.

A powerful pressure spread throughout the entire underground space.

This is precisely the manifestation of the extraordinary spirit after the spark of life has been ignited.

At this moment, Luo Xia's extraordinary spirit, which was a combination of three, swelled up under the infusion of immense spiritual power, and in a short while, it transformed into a terrifying phantom of a demon god that was tens of meters tall.

It has dragon horns and a human body, its body is covered with barren dragon armor, its back has large wings of burning black flames, and its tail is transformed from a giant python.

At this moment, the phantom of the demon god stood proudly atop the Frost Fortress, its aura of annihilation completely engulfing the entire fortress.

"What...what is that?!"

Inside the fortress, some who had not yet broken through stared blankly at the god-like phantom, unaware that they were already kneeling on the ground.

"What kind of extraordinary spirit is this? It's truly domineering!"

Renault could sense that the phantom of the god and demon glanced at him before slowly dissipating.

That is why Renault was so terrified.

He had actually felt the threat of death within that illusory figure!

"August really struck gold!"

Renault licked his lips, his gaze fixed on Rorschach in the underground palace, who was beginning to condense his extraordinary body with his extraordinary spirit. His eyes were filled with fervor.

If it weren't for their personal relationship with Augustus, Renault felt he would have personally taken on the role of apprentice.

after all……

"To be able to combine three different breathing techniques together... Rorschach is truly a genius!"

"If he doesn't fall, I fear that another holy knight, whose power overwhelms all, will emerge in our Holy Empire..."

The appearance of Rorschach's extraordinary spirit completely ignited the spiritual vortex in the sky.

What was originally an enormous spiritual vortex has now turned black, and an incomparably pure aura is emanating from it.

"Hahaha! Great! Rorschach, you're truly my lucky star!"

Orus's eyes snapped open, a black light flashing within them, and an incredibly powerful aura rose from his body.

The red life magnetic field suddenly began to spin.

Without the slightest hesitation, Orus drew his silver longsword from his waist, and his body flew up, rushing towards the beast tide that had gathered thousands of miles away from the fortress.

"Nourish yourself through battle, and gain enlightenment through killing! This is the path of the Sky Knights of Orus!"

……

At the same time, inside the underground hall.

Taylor, who had been protecting Rorschach, sensed that Rorschach had ignited the spark of life and begun to condense his own extraordinary body.

Without the slightest hesitation, he sat cross-legged and began to greedily absorb the vast and pure spiritual energy emanating from the Holy Spring after Luo Xia's breakthrough, as well as the spiritual vortex above the sky.

"Whew! That's awesome! Luo Xia's spiritual quality is too high, this breakthrough is really secure!"

Taylor's life magnetic field was spinning wildly, and the life spark within his body was fiercely burning, devouring his spirituality.

Under the influence of this vast and pure spiritual energy, Taylor's spiritual energy, which had been stagnant at the level of a high-ranking Grand Knight, was directly filled, and his aura soared to the level of a peak Grand Knight.

But this was not the end. The pure spiritual energy of the second-tier peak and the huge spiritual vortex in the sky were still being absorbed by Taylor, and the aura on his body began to approach that of the Earth Knight!

The most difficult aspect of becoming an Earth Knight is achieving a certain level of spirituality, which Taylor has already attained. Therefore, as long as Taylor can improve his vitality and spirituality, breaking through to become an Earth Knight will not be too difficult for him.

"The only difficulty is to condense one's own life force into an extraordinary heart!"

But that step can wait until we return to the War Academy. Right now, the priority is to absorb enough spiritual energy to condense a transcendent heart!

Taylor never expected that he would be carried away by Rorschach.

So at this moment, I feel so sweet inside.

After all, who wouldn't love a disciple who can quickly generate returns on investment?
