He promised to become a knight, but what the heck is Astartes?

At the same moment, a massacre also swept through the Black Wilderness Forest.

"Heh, Imperial law?"

"If this thing were useful, I wouldn't be here."

Bai Wumian stared coldly at the seven people before him, his voice icy, seemingly filled with anger and resentment towards the so-called laws of the empire.

She didn't explain anything, she just waved her hand, and there was a red creature beside her that seemed to be made of endless flesh and blood.

It immediately opened its mouth wide and roared, like a wolf in a sheepfold, and completely slaughtered the seven contestants, whose highest rank was only mid-level knight.

"next."

……

In the deepest part of the Black Wilderness Forest, apart from the endless green miasma, there is only blackness.

The blackwood trees here are incredibly thick and long, with dense canopies that block out the midday sun.

Luo Xia had now penetrated hundreds of kilometers into the Black Wasteland Forest, where first-tier high-level mutated magical beasts could be seen everywhere.

But Luo Xia did not act rashly. He had only one goal today: to hunt a second-tier mutated magical beast.

As for the points in the Winter Hunting Cup, with three days left, Rorschach wasn't in a hurry.

Moreover, the rewards for this preliminary round are quite ordinary; Rorschach only needs to ensure that he can make it into the top ten.

He didn't really care about being number one.

"This is it."

Luo Xia slowly stopped in his tracks. With his perception of life magnetic field and mental power, he finally detected an extremely powerful life magnetic field fluctuation.

"Let's see what kind it is."

After determining the location, Luo Xia immediately used the Dark Source Breathing Technique to conceal his life magnetic field and some of his aura, and like a truly experienced hunter, he quietly approached his target.

"It's actually the Berserker Lion King..."

In the grass outside a cave in the mountainside, Rorschach's gaze fell upon the blood-red lion, who was currently taking a nap inside the cave.

This is a giant lion that is five meters long, with a head covered in a bewitching red mane that looks like blood, and its entire body is also bright red.

According to Rorschach's understanding, this Blood Lion King was the emblem of a kingdom somewhere in the North before it mutated into an extraordinary species.

This is precisely because the sweat flowing from the body of the Mad Blood Lion King is blood-red, just like the Ferghana horse from his previous life.

But unlike other things, the sweat of the Blood Lion King is a medicine that can cure cold-related illnesses, and it is even said that it can restore a man's virility!

Moreover, even the blood and other organs of the other person have various therapeutic effects. At that time, some religions even called it a treasure left by the world for men!

Therefore, at that time, some nobles and wealthy people considered it an honor to own a raging blood lion king.

If your household doesn't have a Bloodthirsty Lion King, then you're not worthy of attending a noble ball.

"Hiss, if that's true, then the ability of the mutated Blood Lion King to produce sweat is even stronger!"

Rorschach's eyes lit up. Although he couldn't use it himself, he could sell it for money.

Things are different now than before; these mutated second-tier magical beasts are no longer the kittens that were once kept in captivity.

That guy is really capable of eating people now!

They're even eating a master like the Great Knight!

"It's just you."

After all, since it's the Lion King's Trial, how can it be done without hunting a lion?

Luo Xia instantly identified his target and then began to make some pre-battle preparations.

The first step is to set traps.

Luo Xia acted swiftly. With the blessing of the Dark Source Breathing Technique, the sleeping Berserker Lion King was completely unaware that it was surrounded.

Luo Xia took out the metal bone spikes he had crafted from black gold ore and high-grade beast bones from the system space.

Then they began digging holes around the cave entrance in the mountainside and burying the metal bone spikes inside.

After doing all this, Luo Xia quickly ran away, calculating the distance in his mind. Then, in an open area, he dug a large pit eight meters deep, filled it with bone spikes, and covered it with turf.

"The wisdom of our ancestors."

Luo Xia nodded in satisfaction after doing all this. This was a case of being prepared for any eventuality, creating a sliver of an opportunity for himself.

The real killer move will ultimately come from the Dark Angel Spear in Rorschach's hands.

"Concealment and disguise, and a single, decisive blow..."

Luo Xia's eyes flickered as he returned to the cave in the mountain wall. Looking at the still-sleeping Berserker Lion King, his eyes moved slightly, and he stepped forward slowly, raising the Dark Angel Spear high.

With the ability to conceal himself using the Dark Source Breathing Technique, Luo Xia naturally wouldn't use any meat to lure the Berserker Lion King out of its cave.

Instead, they were prepared to deliver a ruthless blow to the other side!

"I can't approach this sneak attack with the mindset of killing the enemy in one strike. After all, the gap between me and the Berserker Lion King is too great. If I fail, it will be difficult to escape..."

and so.

Luo Xia stared at the Blood Lion King's round buttocks with a fierce look in his eyes.

If a decisive blow isn't possible, then we must find a way to weaken the opponent's strength...

"You're squeezing so tight, let me loosen it for you!"

Without the slightest hesitation, Luo Xia made his move the instant he approached the Bloodthirsty Lion King.

The Dark Angel Spear shot out like a dragon, like a dragon entering the sea, and pierced into the sensitive area under the tail of the Mad Blood Lion King, and then stirred violently!

"Roar!"

Suddenly, an extremely painful roar echoed throughout the mountains and forests!

The Blood Lion King instantly woke up from his dream. His eyes turned red, and he quickly turned his head to stare intently at the little thief who had ambushed him.

"Roar!"

The enormous beast claw slammed down directly at Luo Xia, at a speed that left no time for anyone to react.

"Desolate Dragon Armor!"

Luo Xia roared, and the Black Dragon Eternal Silence appeared behind him, instantly covering his entire body with black Desolate Dragon Armor.

Even so, it only held out for a moment before being smashed by the lion's claws, which then slammed heavily onto Rorschach's dragon scale armor.

"puff."

Luo Xia coughed up a mouthful of blood and flew backward out of the cave in the mountain wall. His life magnetic field rotated invisibly, and Luo Xia used the force in the air to avoid the trap he had set.

Then he gave the Blood Lion King the middle finger, spat out a mouthful of blood, and turned and ran away.

"Hoohoho!"

Seeing that Luo Xia hadn't been killed by his palm strike, the raging blood lion king became even angrier.

Blood was spurting from its tail. The intense pain caused the raging blood lion king to lose its sense of reason. Without thinking, it pounced out of the cave and chased after Luo Xia.

"Hoohoo!"

But the instant it leaped out of the cave in the mountain wall, intense pain pierced the lion king's paw. Its gaze fell upon its once-familiar front door, now riddled with countless bone spurs.

The Blood Lion King was completely enraged, and blood and sweat kept dripping from his body.

"Roar!"

Blood dripped from its tail, and every step it took was excruciatingly painful. Even so, the Berserk Lion King still managed to leap out of the metal bone spike array that Luo Xia had set up at the opponent's doorstep with a burst of power, and roared as it chased after Luo Xia.

"Cough cough."

"Thank goodness, the dragon scale armor blocked it."

Rorschach felt as if his internal organs had been dislocated after the lion king's claw struck him.

It wouldn't even be possible without the desolate dragon armor to deflect force, suppress the life magnetic field, and protect the spirit of the dragon scale armor.

Rorschach felt that with that claw strike, he could return directly to the Golden Throne.

"But the result was good; everything went according to plan."

He withstood a claw attack and flew out of the cave; this was part of Rorschach's plan.

Only in this way could he accurately judge the strength of the Berserker Lion King and quickly escape the narrow and dangerous environment of the cave, taking the hunt outdoors.

"Dark Source Breathing Technique, activate!"

Rorschach calculated that he was about to reach the last place, the grave he had prepared for the Blood Lion King.

He immediately concealed his aura and moved forward quickly, using the power of the Dark Source Life Magnetic Field to cover and hide the giant pit trap as well.

"From now on, we'll switch roles!"

Chapter 123 I Have a Shot That Can Destroy Gods! (Seeking monthly votes, thank you!)

"Roar!"

Deep in the Black Wilderness Forest, the Berserk Lion King went completely mad.

After failing to find Rorschach, it frantically swung its giant claws at the spot where Rorschach's last breath had disappeared, forcefully snapping several thick black wasteland trees in half.

"The bleeding is stable, there's no rush."

Luo Xia moved nimbly across the canopy of the Black Wasteland Tree, his eyes fixed on the Mad Blood Lion King, whose tail and rump were constantly gushing blood.

Luo Xia's spear pierced through the Blood Lion King's internal organs, and after the Lion King knocked Luo Xia away, the Dark Angel Spear, which had been pulled out after being swirled around, brought out a cloud of flesh, undoubtedly causing a second tear in the Blood Lion King.

Therefore, the advantage lies with Rorschach. As long as he can stall for time, this berserk lion king will have little chance of resisting.

Time passed slowly.

Half an hour passed, and Rorschach, like a seasoned hunter, quietly watched his prey struggle, without making a move.

But the Blood Lion King wouldn't have it. Unable to find Rorschach, and sensing the pain and blood loss weakening its body, it prepared to give up.

"Roar!"

The Blood Lion King roared, seemingly venting its resentment, then turned around, panting heavily, preparing to drag its injured body back into the cave to silently lick its wounds.
