“Okay.” Bardos nodded slightly, the scepter in her hand continuing to release angelic power, making final adjustments and calibrations to the Saint Cloth.
The light flowed back and forth between those parts, as if performing a final round of fine polishing.
About a minute has passed.
“It’s done.” Bardos put down her scepter and smiled. “Give it a try.”
"Saint Cloth! Come!" Solo called out, his voice echoing across the vast world of the God of Destruction.
"Shhhhhh!"
The Saint Cloths, suspended in the air, moved in response, like a flock of birds awakened.
The shoulder armor fell down first, settling against his shoulder with a soft metallic click;
The breastplate followed closely behind, covering his chest, with its edges fitting perfectly into the shoulder armor.
The belt was fastened at the waist, the leg armor covered the thighs and calves, and the boots covered the ankles and soles of the feet.
The whole process took less than three seconds, and all the parts were already on, as if they had been tailor-made for him.
The dark gray metal shell clung to his body lines, the shoulder armor rose up like a pair of folded wings, and the scale-like patterns on the breastplate shimmered with tiny specks of light under the starlight.
Wearing the full Saint Cloth sharpened his features from shoulders to feet, giving him a fierce yet composed aura.
"Vados, quick, conjure a mirror so I can see myself," Solo instructed Vados again, his voice tinged with barely suppressed urgency.
"Snapped!"
Bardos once again swung her scepter, the tip of which drew an arc in the air.
A life-sized mirror appeared out of thin air in front of him, its edges shimmering with a pale blue light, its surface as smooth as still water.
Solo looked at himself in the mirror, turned half a circle to the left and right, then turned to the side to examine the curve of his shoulder armor, and raised his hand to touch the patterns on his breastplate.
The figure in the mirror, clad in dark gray armor, gleamed metallically under the starlight. The shoulder armor was raised, the waistline was cinched, and the leg armor was long and slender.
He's so handsome!
"Isn't he handsome?" Solo grinned and turned to look at Bardos.
"Oh my, he's definitely much more handsome than before," Bardos nodded.
"The question is, where do you usually keep this Saint Cloth you mentioned? Does it always follow you around?" Fuva couldn't help but ask, his gaze shifting back and forth between the armor and Solo.
“It would be best to place it in space.” Solo thought for a moment, then looked at Vados. “As long as I call out, the Cloth will fly from space to my side. Can you do that?”
"You really think I'm a wishing bead?" Bardos silently wiped her sweat, ran her fingers across her forehead, and then slowly shook her head. "No, I can't do that."
"Add ten more meals, with ten more dishes each time," Solo stated his conditions.
"Deal!" Bardos agreed without hesitation.
Xiangpa stood to the side, her purplish-red lips twitching slightly.
Fuva's gaze darted back and forth between Solo and Bados twice, without saying a word.
"Then, in which universe should this Saint Cloth be placed?" Vados asked, slightly raising the scepter in her hand.
"How about this, keep the Cloth at least tens of millions of kilometers away from me at all times," Solo said thoughtfully, rubbing his chin twice with his fingers. "When I summon the Cloth, it can arrive within ten seconds."
"Alright." Bardos sighed softly, her gaze lingering on his face for a moment before finally agreeing to Solo's request.
Bardos really goes all out for delicious food.
Then, Bardos raised her scepter again, and the crystal ball at the top of the scepter lit up, making a simple modification to Solo's Saint Cloth.
A pale blue light surged from the crystal ball, covering the surface of the armor and seeping into the gaps in the metal like a flowing film.
The next moment, Solo's body trembled slightly.
"Shhhhhh!"
The Saint Cloth on his body flew off at an incredible speed, like a flock of startled birds. The pieces scattered in the air and flew off in different directions, disappearing into the depths of the starry sky in the blink of an eye, leaving no trace.
"Saint Cloth, come!" Solo raised his head and shouted towards the starry sky.
Within moments, a series of dark gray dots lit up in the distant starry sky.
Those points of light moved rapidly across the starry sky, from scattered to converging, getting closer and closer, faster and faster.
"Shhhhhh!"
The Saint Cloths flew swiftly from afar, their components reassembling and piecing together in mid-air, like a procession of messengers summoned back.
The shoulder armor fell first, followed closely by the breastplate, and then the belt, leg armor, and boots were fitted onto his body in sequence. The whole process was smooth, precise, and efficient.
Solo felt around for a moment, moved his shoulders, raised his arms to check his elbow joints, looked down at the fit of the breastplate, and nodded in satisfaction.
Then, he looked at Xiangpa with a fighting spirit.
Champa's face darkened. His gaze lingered for a moment on Solo's dark gray armor before he looked up to meet Solo's eyes. He said irritably, "What? Kid, what kind of look is that? Are you trying to challenge me?"
"I feel my strength has improved quite a bit." Solo chuckled, a strong fighting spirit appearing in his eyes. "I think I can have a match with Lord Champa."
"Hmph, kid, you think you're something special just because you're wearing a Saint Cloth?" Champa sneered. "Today I'll show you the power of a God of Destruction!"
"Oh dear, by the way, it's worth mentioning that Soro's strength increased at least tenfold after wearing this armor." Vados, who was standing to the side, suddenly spoke up.
Champa's expression froze for a moment.
"You... what did you say?" His voice rose half an octave, and his expression became somewhat subtle.
From the fight between Solo and Mosco, he could deduce his true strength.
This kid's strength should be about the same as mine, maybe slightly weaker.
If a real fight broke out, he was confident he could pin Solo to the ground and grind him mercilessly.
But now that this kid has the Saint Cloth, he'll be harder to beat.
You might be the one being rubbed now.
Champa's tail swayed slowly behind him, and his gaze lingered for a moment on Solo's dark gray Saint Cloth.
"By the way, that guy Muru is almost at the Supreme Kai's realm!" Champa quickly interjected, his voice a few decibels more urgent than before. "Let's get down to business! As for our duel, we can talk about that later!"
“Alright.” Solo thought for a moment and nodded.
Indeed, it is too early to challenge Champa now.
Let's deal with the issues in Universe 3 first.
"Snapped!"
Solo's body trembled slightly, and his Saint Cloth bounced off, its parts scattering in the air and turning into a series of dark gray light spots that shot into the depths of the starry sky before disappearing from sight.
"Hey kid, how about you be my apprentice Destroyer?" Champa suddenly had an idea and stepped forward to pat Solo on the shoulder.
“Not interested.” Solo shook his head, answering crisply and decisively.
"Boy, do you know what you're saying?" Champa was furious, his purplish-red eyebrows furrowed together.
“As far as I know, the lives of Gods of Destruction and Supreme Kais are shared.” Zoro turned his head. “If the Supreme Kai dies, I’ll have to disappear with him, right?”
Fova stood a few steps away, silently wiping away sweat, his fingers running down his forehead.
Whom are you cursing?
That's really going too far!
“That’s true.” Champa nodded thoughtfully upon hearing Solo’s concerns. “But the trainee God of Destruction won’t.”
“The trainee God of Destruction will eventually become a true God of Destruction,” Solo replied, his gaze returning to Champa’s face. “Wouldn’t that mean he’d be bound to the life of a Supreme Kai?”
“It’s very simple. As long as one Supreme Kai is alive, the God of Destruction will not disappear.” Champa smiled and tapped his purplish-red fingers twice in front of him. “Just like Beerus from your Universe 7, you can seal one of the Supreme Kais away. That way, you can be absolutely sure.”
"Oh?" Solo glanced silently at Fova.
Fuwa's face darkened instantly, his lips twitched slightly, and his gaze darted back and forth between Solo and Champa.
Is it appropriate for you to plot in front of me?
"How about it? Isn't this a good suggestion?" Champa smiled even more broadly, a smug expression appearing on his purplish-red face.
Chapter 143 I think it's better to be an apprentice Supreme Kai.
“Actually, I have a good idea.” Solo shook his head.
“Tell me about it,” Xiangpa said, her purplish-red ears twitching slightly.
"I think it would be better for me to be an apprentice Supreme Kai?" Solo said, tapping his finger lightly in front of him. "That way, our lives can be bound together. I'm so strong, and I'm not easy to die."
When Champa heard Solo's words, his eyes suddenly lit up, like two lamps that had been suddenly lit.
He looked Solo up and down, his gaze sweeping from the smiling face to the shoulders, back and forth twice.
Fuwa stood to the side, continuing to wipe his sweat, his fingers running from his forehead to his chin, his gaze shifting back and forth between Solo and Champa.
You're plotting right in front of me!
So I guess I won't be able to become the Supreme Kai today?
“I think it’s a good idea!” Champa nodded repeatedly in agreement, a satisfied smile appearing on his purplish-red face.
Fuwa opened his mouth, then closed it again, his eye twitching slightly.
Are you polite?
You're meddling in the affairs of the Supreme Kai?
"Ahem...shouldn't you ask for my opinion?" Fuva couldn't hold back any longer and spoke with a dark face.
"Stop talking nonsense. You've been the Supreme Kai for so many years. It's time to get a new Supreme Kai!" Champa snorted, slightly raising his purplish-red chin and glancing sideways at Fuwa.
"Let me think about it." Fuwa rolled his eyes at Champa, but didn't completely rule it out. "To become a Supreme Kai, you need to take an exam. If you don't pass, there's no way!"
"I was just saying," Solo quickly tried to mediate, spreading his hands in front of him. "You two, please don't fight. If you really wanted me to be in that position, I wouldn't want to. Isn't it better to be free and independent?"
"Oh dear, let's talk about this later." Bardos changed the subject at the right moment, her gaze falling on the rapidly moving dot of light on the projection. "Lord Muru is about to arrive at the Supreme Kai's realm."
"Let's get moving!" Fuva suggested, a hint of urgency in his eyes.
"Shh!"
Fova vanished in a flash.
