At the site of the severed arm wound, muscles began to writhe, bones extended from the stump, and blood vessels and skin grew and intertwined like vines, rapidly taking shape at a speed visible to the naked eye.
"Snapped!"
In the blink of an eye, Cell's severed arm was completely restored.
The new arms had a moist sheen and were a shade lighter than the original skin.
Cell clenched his fist, moved his wrist, and looked down to examine his palms and the backs of his hands to confirm that they were indeed intact.
"Huhuhu..."
Cell gasped for breath, his green chest heaving violently. He looked down at his newly grown arm, then raised it and flipped it in front of his eyes twice. Finally, his heart, which had been hanging in suspense, calmed down.
It seems I can be reborn!
I thought I couldn't have any more children, it really scared me!
However, Cell immediately sensed that something was not quite right.
He tried to move the spot where the tail used to be.
It was empty; there was nothing there.
Cell focused his mind on the base of his tail, channeling his power as he had when he regenerated his arm. His skin twitched slightly before returning to calm.
No matter how hard Cell tried, his tail could never regenerate.
Cell felt utterly bewildered. His pupils dilated slightly, and his gaze swept back and forth across the empty base of his tail several times, as if he couldn't quite process what was happening.
How can it be?
Why can't tails regenerate, but arms can?
Androids 17 and 18 stood a few steps away and saw Cell's severed arm grow back; their expressions changed slightly.
I never imagined this guy could regenerate.
"Now you understand, right?" Solo stood opposite Cell, watching his performance with amusement, a slight smile playing on his lips.
"What... what's going on?" Cell's voice was low as he pressed his green fingers twice at the base of his tail, but nothing changed.
"Why don't you understand?" Solo scolded irritably, tilting his head. "Is there a problem with your comprehension? Or did you not understand what I just said?"
Cell opened his mouth, then closed it again.
Listen to what you're saying!
I can't understand a single word!
However, after a brief moment of stunned silence, Cell seemed to be suddenly awakened by something.
His gaze swept back and forth between his vanished tail and Solo's smiling face, then his pupils suddenly contracted.
"You...you...what kind of destruction did you just use...that move hit my tail and caused it to be unable to regenerate?" Cell finally realized what was happening and hurriedly asked.
"You finally understand? That wasn't easy!" Solo smiled slightly. "I thought you were a fool. Looks like you do have some brains after all."
"Damn it!" Cell trembled with rage, caught in a deep dilemma.
Without a tail, it cannot absorb No. 17 and No. 18.
Without the ability to absorb No. 17 and No. 18, it is impossible to become a complete body.
"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!" Cell trembled violently, his voice hoarse. "If I can regain my complete body, I will never lose to you!"
"Oh? Is that really so?" Solo said with a sneer, a hint of amusement in his eyes.
"Zoro, I admit you are very strong. I am far from being your match right now." Cell's eyes darted around, his green pupils darting around in their sockets, as he looked at Zoro, intending to continue speaking.
“No buts!” Solo interrupted him, his voice crisp and clear.
Cell's expression froze for a moment, the words stuck in his throat as if choked by a stone, leaving him feeling completely awful.
Can you let me finish what I have to say?
It's very impolite of you to interrupt me like that!
"Zoro, don't you Saiyans seek out even stronger opponents?" Cell's lips twitched, and he forced a fawning smile onto his green face as he continued to deceive, "Look, I'm far from being your match right now. Even if you kill me, you won't feel any sense of accomplishment, will you?"
“What you said seems to make some sense.” Solo nodded seriously, rubbing his chin with his fingers. “Even if I killed a weakling like you, it wouldn’t mean much to me.”
"So, as long as I become a complete body, we can have a proper contest, what do you say?" Cell suggested with a smile, his eyes shining with anticipation.
"Let me think about it." Solo pondered silently.
Seeing Solo's attitude, the expressions on the faces of numbers 17 and 18 changed again.
Don't even think about it!
Are you planning to let Cell absorb us?
Number 17 had a sudden inspiration and kept winking at Number 18, his eyes darting towards Solo twice.
Number 18 understood immediately. She released her hands from her chest, walked over to Solo, gently took his arm, and tucked her fingers into the crook of his arm. Her voice softened slightly: "Solo, actually... I really like you! Will you be my boyfriend?"
"Are you just playing along, or are you serious?" Solo turned his head, his gaze falling on her face, and asked with a smile.
"I'm serious!" Number 18 replied quickly, her eyelashes trembling slightly.
"No need to force yourself." Solo smiled gently. "Do you think I can't tell whether you're serious or not? But I don't mind having a good talk with you first, and then we can slowly talk about feelings."
Number 18's fingers tightened slightly in Solo's arm, then loosened, as he silently wiped away sweat.
“So, you can’t let Cell become a complete body!” Android 18 smiled, her smile carrying a hint of determination as she fought for it.
“That makes sense.” Solo nodded, then turned to Cell with a smile. “Look, Android 18 is my girlfriend. I can’t just let you absorb my girlfriend, can I?”
"Android 17 isn't your girlfriend, is she? She's a guy!" Cell suddenly had an idea, pointing at Android 17 with a hint of desperate hope in his eyes, "Just let me absorb Android 17!"
Number 17 was immediately shocked and turned pale.
"No!" Number 18 exclaimed, tightening her grip on Solo's hand. "Number 17 is my brother! Solo, you can't agree to that!"
“You’re right!” Solo nodded seriously.
Cell's smile vanished instantly, and he looked utterly devastated.
After a brief period of stunned silence.
“Actually, I’m a woman too!” Cell suddenly stood up straight, put his hands in front of him in a rather charming pose, and twisted his waist slightly.
Number 17: "..."
Number 18: "..."
The two looked at each other, then simultaneously looked away, their lips twitching slightly.
"boom!"
Solo raised his foot and kicked.
Cell's body rolled several times on the ground before finally coming to a stop by crashing into a dead tree by the roadside, where he lay sprawled on the ground with his limbs spread out.
"Damn it!" Cell scrambled to his feet, his green face covered in dust. His gaze lingered on Zoro for a moment, then he gritted his teeth, determined to utterly destroy Earth. "Since that's the case, then let's fight Earth..."
However, before he could finish speaking, Solo spoke again.
“Number 17, Number 18, actually I also want to challenge a stronger opponent.” Solo turned his head, his gaze lingering on the two for a moment. “No, let Cell become a half-complete body first.”
Number 17's lips twitched suddenly, his green face darkened, and he looked extremely ugly.
In the end, do you still want him to absorb me?
Upon hearing Solo's words, Cell was overjoyed and quickly got up from the ground, brushing the dust off his body.
"Then... can you remove the seal on my tail?" Cell asked expectantly, his green eyes gleaming.
"What are you thinking?" Solo scolded him harshly. "I made you a half-complete body, not let you absorb Number 17."
"What...what do you mean?" Cell was a little confused.
"Vados, isn't he here yet?" Solo suddenly looked up at the sky and shouted loudly, his voice carrying far across the empty highway.
"Here I am! Here I am!"
A pleasant sound rang out from the air, as clear and crisp as the tinkling of a wind chime.
"Swish"
The next moment, a streak of light as dazzling as a star plummeted from the height, as fast as a shooting star moving in reverse.
The light suddenly slowed down just before hitting the ground, then floated lightly down beside Solo.
The light faded, revealing Bados's figure.
Her silver ponytail swayed gently in the breeze, her pale blue skin glowed softly in the sunlight, and the scepter in her hand tapped lightly on the ground.
Upon seeing Vados suddenly appear, Cell, Android 17, and even Android 18 all stared blankly at her.
Three pairs of eyes simultaneously fell on the woman who had suddenly appeared, their gazes lingering on her pale blue face for a long while.
Who is this woman?
"You're really slow," Solo greeted with a smile.
"Where's some delicious food?" Bardos looked around, her gaze sweeping over the fields by the roadside and the distant hills before landing on Solo's face, and quickly asked.
"Don't rush, I'll make it for you in a bit," Solo chuckled.
"Oh dear, after getting used to your delicious food, everything else tastes bland." Bardos sighed deeply, gently twirling her scepter in her hand. "Do you know how much I missed you while you were gone?"
"I'm a little embarrassed by what you're saying!" Solo said with a smile. "You're not thinking about me, you're thinking about the delicious food I cook."
"Oh dear, it's all the same principle." Bardos chuckled, a cheerful smile curving her lips.
“Vados, you’ve come at the right time.” Solo pointed to Cell over there and greeted Vados, “This guy named Cell’s body isn’t fully developed yet. Can you do me a favor and help him become a half-complete body?”
Bardos was taken aback at first, then her gaze followed the direction Solo was pointing and landed on the green humanoid creature.
She tilted her head slightly, then stepped forward, raising her scepter and pointing the crystal ball at the top of it at Cell's body for a quick scan.
Pale blue light emanated from the crystal ball, like a thin veil covering Cell's head, slowly sweeping down his shoulders, chest, and limbs.
Sharu looked at Bados with some uncertainty, his gaze lingering on her face for a moment, wondering what she was up to.
“No problem.” Bardos nodded in agreement and took back the scepter.
"No problem?" Cell was stunned, examining Vados with curiosity. "You mean, you can make me a half-complete body?"
