"Sir/Madam, would you like to check into a hotel?"
"No need." Solo waved his hand, stepped on the gas, and the car slid away from the hotel entrance.
The staff were left bewildered in the wind.
The car stopped a short distance ahead, in the shadows on the side of the street.
Solo and the others got out of the car, closed the door, and then the car turned into a capsule, which fell into Solo's palm.
"Let's go," Solo called out, lifting his feet off the ground and soaring into the air.
Number 17 and Number 18 did not hesitate and followed Solo into the sky.
Three figures moved silently through the night, circled the side of the hotel, and then hovered outside the top-floor window.
Solo flew straight to the window on the top floor of the hotel and hovered outside.
He slowly raised his right hand, and a purplish-red light condensed at his fingertips, like a tiny star shining in the darkness.
"Snapped!"
A purplish-red light spot was imprinted on the tightly closed window.
The glass cracked silently, then slowly disappeared from the center outwards, like pencil marks erased by an eraser.
The window instantly vanished into nothingness, disappearing without a trace.
The edges of the window frame were smooth and neat, without even a single shard of glass left.
High-rise buildings rarely open their windows to their maximum extent; at most, they leave only a small gap, but it would be quite difficult for a person to squeeze through.
Too lazy to open the window, Solo simply smashed it.
Seeing Solo pull out such a move, both Number 17 and Number 18 behind him were slightly stunned, their gazes lingering on the vanished window for several seconds, their pupils dilating slightly.
What kind of amazing skill is this?
"Come in." Solo turned around and smiled, leaning forward as he entered the room first.
Numbers 17 and 18 followed and flew in.
Two figures silently slid in through the window, their feet landing on the floor, then they stood still, their gazes sweeping across the suite.
This is a suite with two bedrooms and a living room.
The living room isn't very big, but it's fairly tidy, with a sofa, coffee table, and TV cabinet.
Number 17 looked around each room, peeked out from behind the doors, and then came back out.
He pointed towards the master bedroom and said to No. 18, "No. 18, you can stay here."
"Okay." Number 18 nodded, a slight smile playing on her lips. "You're quite thoughtful, knowing to give me the master bedroom."
"Hmph, I just don't like that color bed." Number 17 snorted and looked away.
Solo stood in the living room and followed Number 17's gaze to the bed in the master bedroom. The sheets were a warm, natural wood color, covered with a white duvet cover.
This color is unisex.
Clearly, the main reason No. 17 said this was to give the master bedroom to No. 18.
There's also a bathroom in the master bedroom, which is quite convenient.
"I'll sleep here." Number 17 pointed to the second bedroom, pushed open the door, and went in.
"Looks like I'll have to sleep in the living room." Solo smiled nonchalantly, pointing to the sofa in the living room, his tone casual.
That being said, at worst, when I want to sleep, I can just squeeze into the master bedroom with room 18.
Solo would never sleep on the sofa. It's so uncomfortable; nothing beats a big bed.
He sat down on the sofa, sinking into the soft cushions, then turned his head, his gaze passing through the living room and landing on the now empty window.
Night fell through the window, bringing with it the coolness of the evening breeze.
A few barks came from afar, then silence returned.
Chapter 123 This is divine power!
"Now, let's get something to eat..." Number 17 thought of this and glanced around the empty living room. Suddenly, he felt a little overwhelmed. "If we go through the proper procedures to enter the hotel, we can just ask the hotel for food."
"Want something to eat? That's easy!" Solo chuckled, reached into his pocket with his right hand, pulled out a multi-purpose capsule, pressed it with his thumb, and then tossed it onto the open floor in the center of the living room.
"boom!"
White smoke burst open and quickly dissipated, revealing a large freezer on the floor.
The white metal casing, the glass door covered with a thin layer of frost, and the lights inside illuminating rows of neatly stacked sealed boxes.
Through the glass door, you can see all sorts of dishes inside, stacked several layers high.
"What are all these things?" Number 17 and Number 18's eyes lit up simultaneously when they saw the freezer full of food.
The two walked to the freezer and looked inside through the glass door.
“These are dishes I used to make.” Solo smiled slightly, stepped forward, opened the freezer door, and a blast of cold air hit him. “I froze them on purpose so we could eat them when we needed them. Isn’t that convenient now?”
He bent down and took out a sealed plate of Mapo Tofu from the top shelf.
I pinched the edge of the box with my fingers and casually tore off the seal.
The frozen Mapo Tofu was presented to the three of them.
The tofu cubes were frozen solid, with a thin layer of white frost on the surface. The sauce had solidified into a dark red layer of ice, and the Sichuan peppercorn powder and chili flakes looked like frozen little stars.
Number 18 stretched out his finger and gently poked the surface of the Mapo Tofu.
The fingertips touched the ice surface, making a soft "click" sound.
She poked it again, then withdrew her hand, looking at the coldness clinging to her fingertips.
"But how do we defrost them?" Number 18 asked, shifting his gaze from the vegetables in the freezer to Solo's face.
“That’s easy.” Solo smiled. “Don’t you guys release energy? You use that energy to heat the food.”
"Energy?" Number 17 glanced at Solo silently, raising an eyebrow slightly.
“Just like this,” Solo said, gently raising his right hand with his fingers slightly spread.
"Snapped!"
A ball of fiery red light appeared in Solo's hand.
The light was not bright, but it was intense and steady, dancing silently in my palm like a tamed flame.
The air around the flames distorted slightly, emitting not a scorching heat, but a gentle warmth.
Then, Solo flicked his hand, gently brushing the flame over the Mapo Tofu.
The fiery red flames enveloped the frozen tofu like a thin veil, flowing slowly and silently seeping into the food.
In less than ten seconds, the white frost on the surface of the Mapo Tofu disappeared, and the ice melted rapidly.
The sauce turned a bright red again, with tiny bubbles rising to the surface, and steam rose from the bottom of the plate, filling the air with a spicy and savory aroma.
The tofu cubes trembled slightly in the sauce, as if they had just come out of the pot.
"Alright," Solo said with a smile, pulling out a few pairs of chopsticks from the drawer next to the freezer, wiping them clean, and handing them to No. 18 and No. 17 respectively, "You two try them."
The two took the chopsticks, their eyes lingering for a moment on the steaming Mapo Tofu.
Number 17 started first, picked up a piece of tofu, blew on it twice, and put it in his mouth.
His expression didn't change, but he chewed noticeably slower.
Number 18 also picked up a piece, put it in his mouth, and sipped it slightly.
Then their eyes lit up at the same time.
"Delicious!" Number 18 exclaimed, reaching out with his chopsticks to pick up a second piece.
"Not bad, not bad!" Number 17 nodded in satisfaction, picked up another piece, and looked down at the red oil at the bottom of the plate.
"Who made this dish?" Number 18 couldn't help but ask, turning his head to look at Solo's face.
"I did it," Solo said with a slight smile.
"I didn't expect you could cook?" Number 18 was even more curious, looking Solo up and down, her gaze sweeping from his calm face to his hands with his sleeves rolled up. "Just how many other skills do you have up your sleeve?"
"Let's heat up the other dishes too," suggested No. 17, bending down to take out more than a dozen sealed dishes from the freezer and placing them one by one on the coffee table.
“Sure,” Solo readily agreed, his gaze sweeping over the eighteen plates of frozen dishes on the coffee table.
He conjured a fireball in his hand, much larger than before, with orange-red flames slowly rotating above his palm.
Then he made a few light cuts on the fireball with his fingers, as if he were cutting an invisible cake.
The fireball was divided into eighteen parts, each of uniform size, like eighteen miniature suns suspended in the air.
"shhhhhhhh"
Solo waved his hand lightly, sending the eighteen fireballs flying towards the eighteen dishes on the table.
The light descended, covering each sealed container and silently seeping into the frozen ingredients.
The ice melted, the sauce dissolved, and the aroma spread layer by layer, filling the entire living room.
Calling it a fireball isn't entirely accurate.
This is a special divine power that Solo cultivated. It is different from the power of destruction, but it is still a type of divine power.
This magical power can heat frozen pre-cooked food in just ten seconds, and the heating is very even, making it taste similar to freshly stir-fried food.
Of course, angels like Bardos, who are picky eaters, generally wouldn't eat this kind of food.
Bardos has been spoiled by Solo so much that she only eats freshly cooked food.
In Bados's words, freshly cooked dishes have a wok hei (wok aroma).
Eating these pre-cooked dishes is essentially like heating energy, and the taste is far inferior to freshly stir-fried dishes.
However, for people number 17 and 18, they had never eaten such delicious food before.
These dishes were all cooked by Solo with masterful culinary skills. Each one was perfect in color, aroma, and taste, cooked to perfection, and seasoned just right.
His culinary skills are at a master level; no one on Earth, or even in the entire universe, has reached this level.
