Although Harry Osborne wasn't very bright, he, like Li Qun and Peter, filled up his college prep courses.

The four individuals and athletes like Flair belong to two different worlds of students.

Starting in the second half of the year, the American high school football league also began. The after-school time of the school's sports students was filled with training and games. If you wanted to see them bullying classmates, you had to go to the stadium.

Li Qun's school ended at five o'clock in the afternoon. On his way to the bus station, he noticed that there were many more police cars patrolling the road.

Tomorrow is the start of the United Nations Millennium Summit, and heads of state and delegations from various regions have already arrived in New York today, the start of their school year.

……

……

“It’s been a long time, John.”

At the Osborne family's high-rise mansion, Norman Osborne warmly embraced John Wick, while Helen and John and his wife also attended a dinner at Norman Osborne's home.

Norman Osborne hired John Wick more than once, and John Wick helped Norman and his Osborne Group resolve many problems.

Norman and John exchanged pleasantries for a while, then the butler Bernard opened the door and led Harry Osborn into the drawing room.

“This is my son, Harry.”

“Harry, this is my very good friend. You have to call him Uncle John Wick. You need to respect John as much as you respect me.”

Norman introduced Harry to John, telling Harry to remember John Wick's face.

Hello, Uncle John.

“Harry, this is my wife, Helen. We are all very happy to meet you.”

John and Helen took turns giving Harry a hug, and Harry responded politely.

Harry secretly observed that his father seemed to have great respect for this man named John Wick, yet he had never seen him before.

John Wick seemed to deliberately keep his distance from his father, behaving in a very formal manner, like a traditional European aristocrat.

The four of them eventually made their way to a restaurant, where Norman had meticulously prepared a French feast, with sixteen people taking care of the four of them for dinner.

"Harry, which school do you go to?"

During the meal, John inquired about something, and Norman smiled and looked at his son.

"Midtown High School".

"You're also a student at Midtown High School?" John smiled.

“He wasn’t a good student. He was supposed to attend a boarding high school in New Jersey, but he was expelled last year,” Norman said from the side.

“Midtown High School is also very good. I know a few kids who go there, and when Helen and I need something, we ask them to watch our house for us. Helen also invites them over to play from time to time,” John said.

“They must be very talented. Harry, you can get to know them at school,” Norman said with a smile.

"They should be 11th graders this year."

"What a coincidence, Harry is also in 11th year."

“Peter Parker, our new house was found for us by Peter’s aunt May,” John said with a smile.

“Peter?” Harry’s expression was very strange.

“Wait, there’s a boy and a girl, right? And their names are Leon and Gwen?” Harry asked.

“It seems you already know them,” John said.

“Yeah, Peter is my good friend, and I just met Leon and Gwen today, and we just became friends.” Harry smiled happily.

“Harry, you’re finally starting to look like me,” Norman said to his son.

Harry noticed that his father seemed a little surprised by him; it seemed to be the first time he had given him an unexpected surprise.

John Wick noticed Harry's micro-expressions.

John knew about Norman's family situation; Norman's wife had passed away, and coincidentally, he also knew about the family situations of Peter, Gwen, and Liqun.

John couldn't help but wonder if there was a club at Midtown High School whose members were either orphans or from single-parent families. The condition for joining the club was that a relative had passed away. Harry had just joined this club today, which was why he met Peter, Lillian, and Gwen, these three good kids.

John Wick shook his head slightly, erasing the strange thought from his mind.

“Tell me about your friends,” Norman said to Harry.

“Peter and I were good friends before I transferred to New Jersey.”

“Peter wears glasses, and you can tell he’s a good student just by looking at him. His grades match his appearance, and Peter is usually the smartest one in the class.”

"However, Peter is not good at expressing himself and is often bullied, but no one dares to bully Peter when I am around."

“It’s the Peter I know,” John said.

“Leon, he’s of Chinese descent. When I wasn’t around, he became Peter’s best friend. He seems just as smart as Peter.”

"Gwen is a very lively girl, but she doesn't dress up much and doesn't care at all about what other students think. The three of them are inseparable all day long."

Helen and John listened with a smile as Harry recounted his story. Harry's description of the three men was remarkably accurate, just as it had appeared to them.

"At lunchtime in the school cafeteria, I was completely blown away. Their lunch was as lavish as our dinner tonight, steaming hot and exuding a rich and complex aroma, all prepared for them by their chef uncle from Lyon."

“I said, are you here to study? You’re acting like you’re on vacation.”

I asked Peter if he had prepared this specifically to celebrate the start of the school year.

Peter answered no, that they would eat just as much as they wanted throughout the school year.

Harry became the center of attention at the table, with John and Helen listening intently as he talked about his school life.

Norman Osborne maintained his smile. Perhaps his son wasn't good at much else, but he might have a talent for public speaking, capable of making people interested in what he was saying.

Chapter 24 The Responsible Teacher

Bernard was the Osborn family's butler, much like Jarvis was to Tony Stark. Norman Osborn was very busy, and Bernard was the one who spent most of Harry's time with him.

After transferring from boarding school to Midtown High School, Bernard once again took on the responsibility of driving Harry to and from school.

"Young Master Harry."

"What is it, Bernard?"

"The master said that you can invite your classmates to come over to play, as long as you don't turn the house upside down."

Harry smiled and said, "Understood."

Harry Osborne opened the car door, got out, and walked across the street to blend into the crowd of students heading to school.

Harry didn't like people finding out he was a rich kid, so he asked Bernard to park the car far away, even when he came home from school.

Harry was fiddling with a gold coin in his hand.

It was a gift that John secretly gave him last night when he said goodbye to John Wick.

John Wick whispered in his ear that this gold coin could buy something, something that money couldn't buy, something he might need someday.

He brought it to school simply to show off to Peter and the others.

Harry thought that Peter and the others also knew John, and they should also have the gold coins John gave them.

……

On the second day of school, during the second period in the morning, Dr. Otto opened the classroom door and placed the test paper on the lectern.

Otto divided yesterday's classroom test paper into several parts. When Li Qun saw Otto's actions, his heart pounded, and his "student intuition" was triggered.

"Out of 100 points, 60 points is the passing mark. Do you know how many people passed?" Otto asked with a smile from the podium.

"13 people passed, and 7 people failed."

"Those whose names are called, come up and get your exam papers."

Peter swallowed nervously, while Gwen clenched her fists.

"Lyon, come up here, 90 points."

Li Qun walked to the podium, secretly relieved. After taking the test paper, he looked at it and found that there wasn't a single wrong answer.

“Ten of those points are mine,” Otto said to Li Qun with a smile.

"Ok."

"Next up, Peter Parker, 88 points."

Peter exhaled, stood up and walked towards the podium. As he passed Li Qun, Li Qun gave Peter a thumbs up.

"Don't rely too much on the calculator," Otto said earnestly to Peter.

"Yes, sir."

"Call me Doctor."

"Yes, Dr. Otto."

"Gwen Stacy".

Otto called out the next name.

As the students in the last row took turns walking toward the podium, Otto felt he had discovered something.

“You can do even better, Miss Stacy.”

Gwen took her test paper, glanced at her score: 80.

Otto only read out the scores of the first and second place in front of the whole class; the rest of the students skipped this step.

“I have a full understanding of your knowledge level. I originally planned to teach you some things beyond the textbook, but now it seems that only two of you meet my requirements.”

After handing out the test papers, Otto placed his hands on the podium and paused for a moment on Li Qun and Peter.

Today he was wearing a light yellow trench coat and round-framed glasses, and his expression was more amiable than yesterday.

“I only have three classes a week. My energy is limited. If there is anything you don’t understand in class, I’m telling you to go find Leon and Peter. Don’t waste my time.”

"Leon, is there a problem?"

Dr. Otto saw Li Qun raise his hand to ask a question.

“Dr. Otto, Peter and I are also very busy. We are students, not teachers. Teaching is your job, not ours.”

"Oh, I thought you wouldn't protest."
