America: A Prodigy of Stereotypes

“We’re from Queens, New York. We’re locals. My home is in Chinatown,” Li Qun replied.
"very nice."
"I need to call Uncle Ben." Peter hurriedly packed his backpack, got up and walked away quickly, leaving Li Qun with a knowing look before he left.
“May I sit down?” Kate asked Li Qun.
"It's alright, please have a seat."
As soon as Kate sat down, Li Qun stood up and stood beside her.
“I’m not usually hit on,” Li Qun told Kate.
“I’d say they’re too shy to talk to you; you’re so handsome that girls only dare to admire you from afar,” Kate said.
"What do you mean?"
"It means exactly what it says."
"Do you have any plans for Thanksgiving?" Kate asked.
"It's all arranged."
"Do you have a girlfriend?"
"No."
"Want to celebrate the holiday together?"
"I live with my roommate."
"Can I join?"
"Sorry, no."
"Not even a chance?" Kate looked at Li Qun.
"What kind of opportunity do you want?" Li Qun asked.
“The opportunity to become your friend,” Kate said.
"Can I interpret this as Asians banding together?" Li Qun asked.
"Yes, but no."
“You’re exactly the person I’ve always dreamed of.” Kate admired Li Qun’s appearance intently.
"Stop," Li Qun said.
Looking at Kate who suddenly appeared, Li Qun recalled that she seemed to have been secretly observing him since the beginning of the semester.
Li Qun felt he had experienced this situation before; the last girl who suddenly approached him was Liz.
Liz is very good at dressing herself, and her makeup skills are "a hundred times" better than Gwen's. As for Kate, Liqun observed on the spot that she only applied lip gloss to her lips.
"What's wrong with me?"
Kate tensed up; Li Qun's gaze made her think there was something on her face.
"nothing."
"I have an exam next class, I need to go and prepare," Li Qun said.
“Me too, I told you we’re in the same class,” Kate said.
"Is Kate your real name or your English name?" Li Qun asked.
“My real name, my full name is Kate Hardy,” Kate replied.
"Are you mixed race? My English name is Lyon, and my real name is Li Qun."
“I don’t speak Chinese, and my mother is of Japanese descent,” Kate Hardy said.
"I'm sure I need to leave now."
Li Qun glanced at Peter's location, then picked up his backpack and walked towards Peter in the distance.
“It failed…” Kate Hardy muttered to herself as she watched Li Qun’s departing figure.
"How's it going?" Peter asked Li Qun with a smile, his eyes gleaming with curiosity.
“I dare say it’s the college version of Liz,” Li Qun said to Peter.
“Is this a good thing? You’re always rejecting people,” Peter said.
"My sixth sense tells me this is a good thing, it will help me avoid a lot of trouble."
“Her name is Kate Hardy. Her name is Cat. She was just talking to me out of curiosity. She’ll be looking for someone else in a few months,” Li Qun said.
"Ok."
“Liqun, have you been looking at the school forum?” Peter asked.
“I’ve been managing ‘Spider Hole,’ and I only read Spider-Man discussion threads,” Li Qun told Peter.
“Someone at school gave you a nickname, calling you Jesus from across the sea. You have strong features, a handsome appearance, sharp eyes, a calm demeanor, and are full of righteousness,” Peter said.
"Don't do this..."
"That's what they said, not what I'm saying to praise you."
"Maybe they're referring to my hairstyle, which is like Jesus's—black hair, not very long, and slightly curly. I certainly don't have the ability to feed five thousand college students with two salted fish and five loaves of bread," Li Qun said.
"How about trying walking on water?" Peter asked with a smile.
"Why don't we have all three doctors visit us on their birthdays at the same time?"
Chapter 407 Allowed to Take Off
Even covering their eyes cannot block their vision.
Peter's spider-sense allows him to react to dangerous things much faster; however, what is dangerous to ordinary people is not dangerous to Peter.
Peter's training has not stopped, and the longest and most difficult part is training Peter's perception.
Spider-Sense is very convenient, but Peter is also required not to rely on it too much.
Peter was blindfolded, and he had to dodge ping-pong balls flying at him while blind, just like Li Qun had done before.
The ping-pong ball that hit Peter left a white mark.
The ping-pong ball didn't hurt at all when it hit him, but Peter felt his heart tremble as if it had been struck, which meant he had failed again.
“Again,” Li Qun said.
Peter nodded and continued training.
The ping-pong ball bounced off the wall and landed where Peter was, providing him with information through sound.
Peter was fine with one ping-pong ball flying by, but he was at a loss when there were more than three.
"Peter, let's take a break."
Peter was relieved and removed the blindfold from his eyes.
“My heart won’t be at peace; I can’t do it,” Peter told Liqun.
"What if we used spider silk?"
"Use spider silk to block the ping-pong ball before dodging," Li Qun suggested.
“You didn’t mention before that I could use spider silk.” Peter looked at Li Qun.
“Our training program was designed from the very beginning to prevent you from getting hit by the ping-pong ball, but all you did after the training started was dodge,” Li Qun said.
“I feel like I was really stupid before,” Peter said.
“In the mirror dimension, there are only the two of us, and no one else can say you’re wrong.” Li Qun looked at Peter.
“Let’s go again, I’m rested,” Peter said.
"Have you decided what kind of spider web to use?" Li Qun smiled.
The spider web is an extension of Peter's body, not Peter Parker, not Spider-Man. It's hard for others to understand what Peter senses when he touches the spider web.
The ping-pong ball grazed the spiderweb as it flew past, and Peter could feel the incredibly subtle vibration.
Peter dodged the ping-pong balls that Li Qun threw at him one after another, and even reached out and grabbed one of the ping-pong balls to throw back.
“Peter, you can go even further,” Li Qun reminded him.
How to take it to the next level?
“It prevents me from continuing to throw the ball,” Li Qun said.
Despite losing his sight, Peter fired a web at Li Qun's wrist.
"Missed."
"I will next time."
Peter shot out spider silk one after another, while Li Qun threw ping-pong balls at Peter, and both of them dodged.
This situation is like two people playing a game where the floor is lava; whoever steps on the floor first dies.
"Peter, you've hit the jackpot."
A ping-pong ball bounced and hit Peter on the side of his face, but a second later Peter also used a spider silk to hit Li Qun in the chest.
"A draw?" Peter asked.
"Calculate."
"You shot a lot." Li Qun turned around and looked at their training ground, which was a vast expanse of white, covered with extremely fine spider webs.
"That's a strange statement," Peter said, looking somewhat embarrassed.
"I won't say it again."
There will be no next time.
Li Qun raised his hand and drew a portal, leading Peter out of the mirror dimension. Today's training was over.
Back in his apartment, Peter took off his clothes, put on the Spider-Man mask, shot out his webs, and flew out the window to begin his superhero activities for the day.
