Taking a break for recuperation.

Dear readers, I have broken my promise.

My extremely irregular schedule over the past two years, with updates at ungodly hours, has led to my health deteriorating.

Actually, the slow and late start of this new book was also due to health issues. I suffered from occasional migraines, blood pressure problems, and issues with my liver and kidneys. This delayed the book's launch, and after a period of recuperation, I finally started writing.

Recently, in the past month or two, my health has gradually worsened. I feel drowsy every day, and my mind is constantly plagued by splitting headaches.

It became severe at the beginning of last month, and I took a few days off to rest. However, it continued to flare up from time to time, with excruciating headaches. Writing a single chapter became a struggle. Even though I had an outline and a plot, I felt dazed and confused when I tried to write. It's not just the physical pain; it's also a mental torment that leaves me feeling frustrated and defeated.

I went to the hospital for a comprehensive check-up a few days ago. Perhaps due to my irregular lifestyle, being in a state of chronic fatigue, and suffering from long-term insomnia, various indicators are elevated again.

Alas, I'm thirty years old now, no longer young, and can't afford to squander my health. My daughter is still young, and I dare not ruin myself.

Starting today, I will be taking a temporary break to recuperate.

Afterward, my main focus will be on resting, recuperating, and exercising, while temporarily slowing down my writing and work. I'll be taking a break for a while.

Dear readers, please take care of your health and don't squander it just because you're young.

People will eventually grow old and lose their vitality.
