Furthermore, for a sorcerer, encountering someone interested in Qimen Dunjia or similar arts within the Sanyi Sect would create a sense of kinship.

After all, although the Sanyi Sect is a esoteric sect, its skills are all above the Reverse Life Third Level, while the other methods only have basic introductory knowledge.

This is also the difference between the Sanyi Sect and Longhu Mountain and Shaolin. They only have one method of reverse life triple rebirth that is worth mentioning, and they have no other way to protect themselves.

Compared to the major sects of Taoism and Buddhism, the Sanyi Sect, though it has a long history, has a very thin foundation.

Through Lu Jin, Jiang Liu also gained an understanding of the principles behind the construction of the Qimen system in this world.

There are nine stars in the heavens, corresponding to Tianpeng, Tianrui, Tianchong, Tianfu, Tianqin, Tianxin, Tianzhu, Tianren, and Tianying;

The earth has nine palaces, nine on the head and one on the feet, three on the left and seven on the right, four and two on the shoulders, eight and six on the feet, and five in the center;

There are eight gates in a person's body: the Gate of Rest, the Gate of Life, the Gate of Injury, the Gate of Blockage, the Gate of View, the Gate of Death, the Gate of Shock, and the Gate of Opening.

There are eight deceitful gods: Chief Talisman, Tengshe, Taiyin, Liuhe, Baihu, Xuanwu, Jiudi, and Jiutian.

Qimen, also known as the Nine Palaces and Eight Trigrams, is a system that uses the Nine Palaces and Eight Trigrams as its core, corresponding to the Nine Stars of Heaven, the Nine Palaces of Earth, the Eight Gates of Man, and the Eight Deceptions of God. It is a system that simulates the operation of time and space within a certain range by perceiving the flow of all things in the world.

After all, the human brain cannot calculate the movement of matter in the entire universe. Only by establishing a Qimen system can we help the human brain to control the natural laws governing the world.

"Brother Jiang, this is all of Senior Brother Zhuge's theories about Qimen Dunjia."

Lu Jin put down the book in his hand, wiped the sweat from his forehead, and exhaled, "To be honest, that senior brother is really generous. Apart from the specific cultivation method of Wuhou Qimen, he is not stingy at all about the theory of Qimen Dunjia. He even said that it would be great if the Sanyi Sect could create its own unique Qimen techniques based on this."

"No wonder the Wuhou Sect has survived to this day; they are so enlightened," Jiang Liu sighed.

"Actually, there is a rule in the Wuhou School: the Divine Strategist method is passed down to women, while the Qimen method is passed down to men. Women in the Wuhou School can only learn the Divine Strategist method, but cannot learn the Qimen method."

Lu Jin truthfully recounted the information he had gathered.

Jiang Liu nodded.

This is the Republic of China era, not modern society. Family traditions still tend to favor sons over daughters. The fact that the Wuhou School has been able to pass on the techniques of divine strategy to women since ancient times is already quite enlightened.

"Brother Jiang, with these books on Qimen Dunjia, can you create your own unique Qimen Dunjia techniques?" Lu Jin asked with great interest.

"It's not that easy."

Jiang Liu said that it would not be easy to create his own unique Qimen Dunjia based on the complete theoretical materials provided by his senior brother Zhuge. "It will take at least half a year."

When practicing Qimen Dunjia techniques, the most important thing to pay attention to is ensuring that one's internal organs are not out of balance.

The reason Jiang Liu dared to say that he could succeed in about six months was not only because he stood on the shoulders of the giant "Wuhou School," but more importantly because he had already sealed away his restless mind and wandering will. If problems arose during the creation process, they would be reflected in his already created inner world, allowing him to make adjustments and sort things out at any time.

By gradually trying and failing, one will eventually find the Qimen Dunjia method that best suits their own needs.

"Six months? That's easy enough!"

Lu Jin was speechless.

It should be noted that before becoming a disciple of the Sanyi Sect, that senior brother Zhuge had been practicing since childhood, but it still took him nearly three years to fully master the Wuhou Qimen.

This was even with the specific cultivation method of Wuhou Qimen, and with the personal instruction of the elders of the Wuhou School.

However, Jiang Liu claimed that based solely on these theories, he could attempt to cultivate the most suitable Qimen method for himself within six months.

To paraphrase Jiang Liu's teasing remarks about Lu Jin's cultivation of the Eight Directions Reversal technique, it can be summed up in four words:

Horror!

"Oh."

Jiang Liu simply smiled and did not answer. Instead, he said to Lu Jin, "Since you have brought me these theories, I will tailor a Qimen framework that is most suitable for you after I succeed."

"Me? No need, no need!"

Lu Jin quickly refused.

Just practicing the Eight Directions Reversal and the Three...Ninefold Reversal is already exhausting enough, so how could I possibly have the mind to learn Qimen techniques?

He didn't possess the innate superpower called "Godhood" that Brother Jiang had, nor could he equip himself with a "cultivation cheat device."

"You find it difficult because you haven't fully integrated the Eight Directions Reversal and the Ninefold Rebirth. If you can do that, you're just practicing a technique."

At this moment, Jiang Liu, like a lecherous old man trying to abduct a child, tempted Lu Jin,

"Have you forgotten what I told you about reversing the eight directions from the very beginning?"

This technique has the potential to develop into a sorcerer's skill. If you can build your own unique Qimen framework during the cultivation process, you might be able to completely combine human magnetism and reverse life into a single technique!

In that case, you might actually succeed in cultivating the 'Ninefold Rebirth'!

# Chapter 36 Jin Gong Returns to His Position

For the past six months, since Jiang Liu obtained the theory of Qimen Dunjia, he has spent most of his time, apart from necessary cultivation and affairs, trying to build the Qimen Dunjia framework that best suits him.

With the help of his restless mind and wandering thoughts, any slight mishap will manifest in his inner world.

If the internal organs are out of balance, the inner world will no longer be in harmony, and there may be strong winds, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, and so on.

Therefore, Jiang Liu created Qimen based on this theory, and he could try and experiment with it one by one simply by observing the changes in the natural scenery in the inner landscape.

However, he often "gets sick" in public, such as having a fever, a cold, sneezing, pockmarks, or low blood sugar.

However, these illnesses came on quickly and went away quickly for him.

Through these efforts, he finally managed to construct a framework for his own unique methods of Qimen Dunjia.

One of the Eight Extraordinary Techniques, Feng Hou Qi Men, requires finding an organ in the body to determine the central palace. Zhou Sheng believed that the heart was the best choice, and Jiang Liu also thought so.

However, it did not use the heart as the central palace, but rather included all five internal organs.

After all, he has the innate ability to become a god, and in the future, the gods of the five internal organs will all be born. The five internal organs include the heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys, which can evolve into the five elements and five energies. Using these five elements and energies as the central Yin and Yang is the best option.

The establishment of the central palace signifies the creation of the Eight Trigrams.

If one wants to cultivate Qi, one must open up two sets of Bagua (Eight Trigrams).

Firstly, there are the three gates and nine orifices: the upper dantian, middle dantian, lower dantian, yin orifice, yang orifice, central palace orifice, coccyx gate, spine gate, and jade pillow gate.

The Niwan point is considered the central orifice.

These nine orifices are distributed in the front, back, top, bottom, and middle of the body, naturally forming the image of the Nine Palaces and Eight Trigrams, containing the principles of Tai Chi Yin and Yang.

Therefore, it can be called the innate Bagua of the human body.

The former body belongs to Yin, and the upper, middle and lower Dantian belong to Wood, which is responsible for storage. It should be contained within, circulated throughout the body, and good at nourishing life.

The rear of the body belongs to Yang, and the three gates of the coccyx, spine, and occipital bone are Yang. Yang is strong, belongs to metal, and is open. It should extend outward to protect the body.

The yin orifice is located in the lower body, represents descent, belongs to water, governs stillness, and should be stable.

The Yang aperture is located at the top of the head, representing ascent, belonging to fire, active, and should be flexible.

The Niwan Palace is located in the center, which represents stability, belongs to the earth element, and governs harmony. Earth is the body of Taiji, which governs the four symbols and combines with the eight trigrams. It is the place where Yin and Yang intersect.

By focusing on this one aperture, one can connect with the other eight apertures.

All human beings are born with these nine orifices, which can be called the "innate eight trigrams of the human body." This is why Taibai Jinxing in "Journey to the West" said: "All those with nine orifices can become immortals."

This is because as long as one is human, one is born with the innate Bagua (Eight Trigrams), and as long as one understands one's mind and nature, one can cultivate oneself.

Since the human body has the innate Bagua (Eight Trigrams), can it also have the acquired Bagua?

It certainly exists.

Those are the eight extraordinary meridians.

The eight extraordinary meridians are also present in a person from birth, so why are they called acquired?

Even without practicing Qi cultivation, ordinary people can still instinctively operate the three gates and nine orifices to assist all life activities. However, the eight extraordinary meridians are different. Cultivators need to open the Ren and Du meridians with Qi and begin their cultivation to open them one by one in order to master them.

This process can also be described as using the innate Bagua of the human body to govern the acquired Bagua of the human body.

The innate eight trigrams of the human body are vertical, rotating in a cycle from top to bottom and front to back. The eight extraordinary meridians encompass the four sides of the human body, forming a horizontal structure. The main framework of the Qimen Dunjia system constructed by Jiang Liu is based on the transformation of the five internal organs and the five energies into Yin and Yang as the central palace. The innate vertical structure is used to govern the acquired horizontal structure. Through the interlacing and arrangement of these vertical and horizontal structures, the sixty-four hexagrams can be obtained.

After this framework was constructed, a pure white ball of light appeared in the inner landscape of the river, emitting a soft glow. If you looked closely, its surface had layers of wavy halos that rose and fell, seemingly without any pattern, but in fact, they formed a spherical outline as a whole.

If outsiders were to come to the inner landscape of Jiangliu and see this sphere of light, they would have many feelings, but if they were to be categorized, they could be broadly classified into two types.

Supreme!

And utterly despicable!

This is—

【road!】

[The Way of Heaven!]

This is the embryonic form of the Heavenly Dao in Jiang Liu's inner world! It is the source from which all laws will be born and governed in the future!

However, Jiang Liu did not immerse himself in the world of the inner vision. After constructing the Qimen Dunjia with the five internal organs as the Yin-Yang center, he opened his eyes, returned to the real world, exhaled a breath of stale air, and then took a deep breath.

In that very breath, Jiang Liu's acupoints opened, and his skin trembled slightly up and down like a drum. With each rise and fall, his three gates and nine orifices pulsed, and his eight extraordinary meridians resonated, allowing him to enter the state of fetal breathing. This enabled him to connect with heaven and earth through all his acupoints, and he no longer needed to breathe through his mouth and nose.

Having grasped the wonders of fetal breathing, Jiang Liu felt as if his mind had been blessed. With a thought, he tore off a part of his spirit and soul and merged it into his lungs.

In an instant, a golden-armored deity appeared in the inner scene.

This is Jin Gong.

The restless mind, like a monkey riding a horse of will, saw Jin Gong and charged towards him, eager to fight.

Jin Gong is the metal qi of the lungs and viscera, which has the power of killing and is not afraid of the mind and will. With the help of the fetal breathing technique, it can be as large as the universe or as small as a mustard seed. In an instant, it can transform into thousands of weapons, including the eighteen ancient weapons, as well as various modern guns, tanks, airplanes, and even Transformers and Gundams that only exist in fantasy.

After all, it was formed from a part of Jiang Liu's spirit and soul, one with Jiang Liu yet independent, and naturally knew about his knowledge of modern society.

But Jiang Liu wanted to help the restless mind and the willful horse subdue this golden man.

Within the body, the flow of qi reverses in all directions, stabilizing the eight extraordinary meridians, regulating the balance of the five internal organs, and using the power of the Qimen Dunjia framework to plan the route for subduing the restless mind and wandering thoughts.

Two against one, plus Jiang Liu gradually gaining control of the fetal breathing, and the newly born Golden Duke also realized that it was only by investing himself into the Five Elements Lung Metal of the Yin-Yang Central Palace that he benefited greatly. After the defeat, he returned to his position and helped Jiang Liu cultivate.

With the help of the Golden Lord, the horse was fitted with reins and a saddle, while the monkey wore a phoenix-winged purple-gold crown, a golden chainmail armor, lotus-silk cloud-walking shoes, and held a Ruyi Jingu Bang (a magical staff), making him no less impressive than the legendary Monkey King.

At this point, the Monkey King had taken on the appearance of the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, yet he was also able to steadily control his willful horse, firmly holding the reins, making him a qualified "弼马温" (a low-ranking official in charge of keeping horses).

It is:

The golden saddle is a fitting match for the horse; the restless mind is guided by the will of the horse.

He was both the Keeper of the Heavenly Horses and the Sage Equal to Heaven.
