As the ship approached the island, a fog began to spread across the sea, obscuring everything that could be seen.

All was silent; the sea was as calm as a windless lake. Apart from the sound of oars gliding across the water, there was not a sound to be heard.

The boatman, still hidden under his cloak, rowed the boat steadily and mechanically. He seemed not to be looking at the direction at all, and therefore paid no attention to the thick fog that blotted out the sun on the sea.

But Lucy couldn't help but notice the eerie atmosphere and the overly quiet environment, which made her instinctively tighten her grip on Happy.

Then, just as she couldn't help but ask the boatman when they would finally reach the island.

As if a giant sea monster had been awakened in the silent, dark sea, a surging wave suddenly struck without warning, capsizing the small boat carrying the group in an instant! Then, the people on board were instantly swept into the waves!

When Natsu, his two companions, and the cat woke up one after another, the fog on the sea had dissipated. And the sky had completely darkened.

The waves climbing up the beach in layers, the cool touch of the water reminding them that this was not a dream.

So, if this isn't a dream, then was the foggy sea surface we just saw also a dream?

"Where is that uncle?"

"Where's the boat?"

They searched everywhere but couldn't find the somewhat strange boatman who had brought them there.

Although after careful consideration, the three people and the cat couldn't help but feel a chill down their spines, they still decided to go to the island first and see what happened.

Despite encountering such a great calamity, the little pink thing on Natsu's head was completely unharmed.

Chapter 159 Destroying the Moon

Then, Natsu and his friends witnessed the horrific process of everyone in the village turning into demons!

The moon is purple, absolutely true. It is purple the moment it rises above the horizon!

Then, before they could even marvel at this incredible sight, the villagers around the three people and the cat suddenly began to groan in pain... In just a few seconds, all the villagers, including the children, had turned into complete demons!

Yes, they are demons. Natsu's nose told him it was the same kind of creature as the demons he encountered during previous quests!

They no longer possess any of the characteristics of a human being.

It has ferocious, exposed teeth, skin of various colors, sharp horns on its head, and even bat-like wings on its back!

Even Natsu and his friends, who had seen many grand scenes, were too frightened to move when they suddenly saw so many demons. Lucy was even more pale.

Fortunately, even though they had become demons, the villagers were still villagers and did not attack Natsu and his friends. Moreover, they could still communicate with Natsu and his friends normally, just like before.

Natsu thought it looked pretty cool! He even felt a sense of familiarity with these guys.

Gray was very disappointed, however, because the few young and beautiful girls in the village had now become demons.

Natsu's ever-increasing power makes him incredibly eager to cause a ruckus!
