The room quieted down, with Xingge occasionally asking Youzhen math questions.

Yuzhen quickly made some lunch and ate with Xingge. Afterward, he started tutoring her based on the weaknesses he had previously identified. Xingge also called Manager Sasaki to ask for leave and said she wouldn't be going to work that afternoon.

Just as he suspected, Xingge's weaknesses were mostly due to her not paying attention in class; in reality, she learned quite quickly. It was clear that Xingge was very intelligent, but she rarely used her intelligence for studying.

This is probably related to the atmosphere at her home. Her parents didn't have high expectations for her and Hongxia, so Xingge could focus all her energy on the guitar.

"Are you still planning to form a band, senior?"

As darkness fell, Yuzhen put down his pen and shook his hand. He felt a little tired and had stopped.

"I'd definitely like to try it if I had the chance," Xingge said, putting down her pen. "Would you like to come with me?"

"No, I want to focus on my studies for now. But if you really do form a band, I'll probably go to every one of your shows."

He finished speaking, stood up, walked to the door, and turned on the room light. He checked the time; it was already past seven in the evening. They hadn't even realized they'd been studying together for so long.

Yuzhen felt that he could take a break today. He had given Xingge too much information this afternoon, and she needed to process it properly on her own.

"Finally, I can rest." Xingge relaxed and leaned back on the ground. She also felt very tired.

What do you want to eat tonight?

"Whatever."

"Then let's have fried chicken rice."

Yuma left the bedroom and went to the kitchen.

He suddenly remembered that he didn't know if Youxing was going home for dinner, so he took out his phone and called him.

After the call connected, Yuma heard a lot of noise on the other end.

Where are you? Are you coming back for dinner?

"I'm at my bar. Why are you eating so early today? I'll be right back."

Yuuki must have gone to some corner or somewhere; Yuuma felt that the sound from his side had become much quieter.

"We ate early because Senior Xingge was at our house today. We studied all afternoon and we were hungry." Youzhen tilted his head and held his phone between his ear and shoulder, his hands rummaging through the refrigerator for ingredients.

"Ah! I have something to do tonight, so I won't be going home for dinner." Yu Xing suddenly exclaimed, startling Yu Zhen so much that she dropped her phone. "It's so late, don't let her go home alone tonight. Also, be grateful to have such a sensible older brother like me."

"Are you misunderstanding something?"

"I don't think I've misunderstood anything."

Chapter 73 (Pause)

"So, did you two team up later?" In the exhibition hall, Ryo stood up excitedly when he saw Yuuma stop talking. "I want to hear the details."

"Liang! What are you saying?" Hongxia pressed Liang's head and made her sit back down. "These things can't be said so obviously; they should be said more subtly."

"Why did you stop, Kenzaki-nii? I want to hear more sweet love stories." Kita was very excited; she loved hearing those kinds of stories.

However, Pochi, who was sitting next to Kita, looked like he was about to turn to dust. This kind of youthful and energetic love story was probably the last thing she wanted to hear.

“I’m tired too, I want to rest.” Yuzhen took the juice Xingge handed him. “Besides, it’s almost time to open for business. Today’s story session is over, so I need to get back to work.”

Since Yuzhen had said that, everyone dispersed and went back to their work.

He and Xingge sat in their original seats, watching Liang and Xiduo sweep up the Pochi that had just been scattered all over the floor and put it back together. Was Pochi really human? How could they do something like this?

"Why do you tell everyone everything?" Xingge looked away from the computer screen and rubbed her temples.

She thought Yuuma would just give a general account of how they dated, but she never expected him to explain things so clearly, almost exactly as she remembered.

But considering that he could still remember so clearly after all these years, it was impossible for Xingge to say that she wasn't happy.

"So, did you two do anything after that?" PA moved closer to them again.

"You've finished your work?" Xingge put away her smile, which she thought no one had noticed.

“I finished ahead of schedule.” PA didn’t pay attention to her question. She was already very familiar with those tasks and finished them in no time.

“Regarding your question,” Yuma looked at PA, “we haven’t gotten to that point yet.”

"Wait, you really intend to talk about that?"

"What's wrong with that? I'm not really going to go into the details." Yuzhen sensed Xingge's panic; it seemed she didn't want anyone to know. After all, neither of them had any experience with this kind of thing back then. They'd been making foolish mistakes all night.

He leaned close to Xingge's ear and asked in a voice only the two of them could hear, "You don't want people to know that you took the initiative, right? Are you shy?"

"You bastard!"

Yu-zhen took an elbow to the stomach, and then Xing-ge took her laptop to the bar. She wasn't going to talk to that annoying guy this afternoon.

……

The next day at noon, Yuma bought some batteries at a convenience store and saw Yuuki when she came out.

Yuzhen felt that this guy was acting suspiciously. If he was looking for her, Xingge, or Hongxia, he would definitely have called in advance.

He followed Yuuki and then saw Yuuki walk into the music store.

He remembered this place. Xingge used to work here when she was in school. He and Xingge used to come here often, but later Xingge's family had a problem, and after they broke up, he also ran away from home and didn't come here much anymore.

Speaking of which, many of the equipment in STARRY are now purchased from here, and store manager Sasaki and Yuuki will give Hoshika some conveniences.

Since it's Yuuki's shop, it's not surprising that he came here. However, for some reason, this guy was acting suspiciously, so Yuuki still kept a close eye on him.

Just as Yuuki was about to leave, Yuuma happened to pass by the store entrance and saw that store manager Sasaki was with Yuuki.

"What are you doing here?" Yu Xing was a little flustered when she saw her younger brother suddenly appear.

"I live in Shimokitazawa, why can't I be here?" Yuuma could obviously see his panic. "Sasaki-nee, long time no see. Are you two talking about work?"

"It's Yuuma, long time no see." Store manager Sasaki greeted Yuuma as well. "I heard you got back together with Hoshika? Is that true?"

"It's true, I came back a while ago."

“Perfect timing, you’re here.” Yuuki hugged Yuuma tightly. “I’m starving, let’s go to your shop for a free meal. Aiko… no, Sasaki-nee, I’ll be going now.”

The two sat facing each other in Yuzhen's shop, and Yuzhen quietly watched Yuxing fold origami cranes with napkins.

Are you two dating?

"You even noticed that?" Youxing stopped what she was doing. "I didn't expect your eyesight to be so sharp. I have nothing more to say now, just please don't tell Mom."

"Anyone could tell. So, you were lying to me the other day when you said you didn't have any plans?" Yuzhen nodded. "Don't worry, I won't tell Mom. I understand how you feel. But when did you two start dating?"

"Actually, she was my senior in high school, and I had a crush on her back then." Yu Xing was still a little embarrassed when she said this. "We started dating some time before you came back, and it dragged on for quite a while."

"I see."

This wasn't Yuuma's voice. Kenzaki Yuuki recognized the voice; he watched as Yuuma flipped the phone over, its screen just now facing down on the table.

"When did you make that call?!" He saw Yuzhen talking to her mother for half an hour, which, if he counted, was just before they met each other at the store entrance.

How could Yuzhen possibly let such an interesting thing go by? He had already called his mother to tell her that something fun had happened, and since his mother was at home with nothing to do, she listened to the whole thing.

"You bastard! You just promised you wouldn't tell anyone!"

“I really didn’t tell anyone, you told her yourself.” Youzhen tossed the phone to Youxing. “You two chat, I’m going downstairs to find Xingge to play with.”

"Wait, Xiaozhen," Mom's voice came through the phone, "Come home for dinner on Saturday."

"I understand." He patted Yuxing on the shoulder after he finished his call. "Remember to bring my phone down after you two are done talking."

……

"Xingge, I've come to find you."

Yuzhen pushed open the door and walked into the exhibition hall. It seemed like no one was there. However, the door was unlocked, so Yuzhen figured Xingge must be in the dressing room, and she hadn't heard his voice.

He gently pushed open the door to the lounge and saw Xingge lying asleep on the sofa. Her phone was on her chest, the screen still lit. She must have been bored and was playing on her phone when she fell asleep without realizing it.

Yuzhen moved a chair over and placed it next to the sofa, sat down, and looked at Xingge's peaceful sleeping face.

Hoshika felt someone approaching, and when she opened her eyes, she saw Kenzaki Yuuma standing right in front of her.

She had just woken up and was still a bit groggy. Seeing Yuzhen's face so close to hers, she raised her arms and wrapped them around Yuzhen's neck, pressing his face down to hers.

Seeing Xingge stop sleeping again, Youzhen touched her lips. She had just woken up and her lips were a little dry, so this kiss wasn't a very pleasant experience. But it was still quite unique.

Chapter 74 New Motorcycle

Before going home on Saturday morning, Yuzhen asked Xingge if he wanted to go to his house together, but Xingge didn't want to.

"Why are you bringing me along with your whole family?"

She had just gotten up and hadn't changed out of her pajamas yet; her hair was still a little messy.

"You're family too, so it's okay."

"Not yet," she thought about their relationship. "Strictly speaking, it would only count after we're married."

"Would you be willing to marry me, senior?"

Yuzhen placed breakfast on the table, then braced herself with one hand on the edge of the table and the other on the back of the chair where Xingge was sitting, confining her between her arms.

"What is this? What a hasty proposal." Xingge turned her head away, refusing to look at him. "Do any girls really like this kind of hasty proposal?"

"Alright, I'll be going now. Don't forget to wake Nijika up, she has a rehearsal with Kita and the others today. I'll be back tomorrow." Yuuma changed her shoes and put on her coat. "Well then, I'm off."

"Be careful on the road."

Xingge watched as Youzhen closed the door.

"Hmph, what an idiot. I didn't say I wouldn't agree. Idiot."

She muttered to herself as she walked toward Hongxia's room; she would be late if she didn't wake Hongxia up soon.

Since Yuuma moved into her house, Nijika hasn't set an alarm clock. Kenzaki Yuuma tells Nijika to sleep in a little longer in the morning to rest and conserve her energy, and that he will make breakfast and wake her up after his morning exercise.

However, Hongxia still has to do housework, since the two adults in the family are usually quite busy and don't have time.

……

Yuzhen quickly returned home, took out his keys, opened the door, and went inside.

Yuxing hadn't returned yet, but her parents were in the living room, and something seemed off.

"Why are you doing this kind of thing at your age!"
