Yu-Gi-Oh!: This isn't a duel!

Her gaze was firm and noble, exuding an unassailable aristocratic air. She was surrounded by a storm of pink petals, as gentle as a breeze yet unbreakable.

Behind her, the bright red cloak fluttered in the invisible wind like a revolutionary flag, descending majestically upon the earth!

Baroness of Flowers

【★10】【Wind/Warrior/Synchro/Effect】【ATK: 3000 / DEF: 2400】

Gazing at the female knight before him, exuding an aura of nobility and surrounded by a storm of pink petals, You Yang's eyes froze slightly, and he was speechless for a moment.

"The Baroness of Flowers..."

Having been in this world for so long, this is the first time he has stood from the perspective of a "victim" and faced this top-tier Synchro Monster with its extremely versatile and terrifying suppressive power.

The petals fluttering in the air seemed out of place in the cold, data-driven world of duels, yet they possessed a breathtakingly dangerous beauty.

At the edge of the arena, Vivian, who had been quietly watching the battle, suddenly had a cold glint in her normally gentle amber eyes the moment she saw the monster appear.

She frowned slightly, her gaze towards Kelos revealing undisguised contempt, as if she were looking at a thief who had stolen treasure.

Despite feeling a prickling sensation from Vivian's piercing gaze, Kelos pretended not to care.

Instead, he continued to speak loudly:

"Next, the chain reaction will continue!"

"What I will activate is—the effect of [Tech Genus: Hyperdrive Dragoon] in the graveyard!"

Keros pushed up his glasses, which gleamed coldly on the bridge of his nose, and his eyes behind the lenses flashed with a calculating light:

"Although it was just sent to the Graveyard as Synchro Material, its effect description states: 'If this card is Synchro Summoned, you can activate this effect to Special Summon any number of 'Tech Genus' monsters from your Graveyard in Defense Position.'"

"The activation of this effect is not nullified because it leaves the field."

"Furthermore, precisely because it is currently in the graveyard, it can also be the target of its own Special Summon!"

Kairos abruptly waved his hand, pointing towards the deep abyss of data, and shouted:

"Come back! Build the foundation for the future!"

"Special Summon - [Tech Genus - Hyperdrive Dragon Knight]!"

"Not only that! There's also the [Technology-based Powerful Assault Trooper] slumbering in the graveyard, and that dismantled dragon—[Technology-based Meteor Dragon - Technology-based Expansion]!"

"Revive everything!!"

Buzz—! Buzz—! Buzz—!

Three thick beams of data light instantly pierced through the rock layers of the virtual ground.

With a deafening roar of machinery, three enormous figures burst from the ground at the same time!

Clad in heavy black armor, the [Technology Attribute - Hyperdrive Dragon Knight] once again let out a deep dragon roar, coiling itself on the left side of the battlefield.

Holding a plasma blade, the [Technology Attribute - Powerful Assault Soldier] knelt on the ground, his defensive stance as firm as a rock.

In the center, the [Tech Attribute Meteor Dragon - Tech Attribute Expansion], covered in a streamlined titanium alloy shell, once again unfurled its pair of technological wings, which shimmered with cyan electric arcs.

[Tech Genus - Hyperdrive Dragon Knight] [★5] [Dark/Dragon/Synchro/Effect] [ATK: 2100 / DEF: 1900]

[Tech Genus - Powerful Assault Trooper] [★2] [Earth/Warrior/Synchro/Effect] [Attack: 1800 / Defense: 0]

【Meteor Dragon - Tech Expansion】【★10】【Wind/Dragon/Synchro/Effect】【ATK: 3300 / DEF: 2500】

In addition, there's the noble [Baroness of Flowers] on the field and the [Tech Genus - Super Librarian] responsible for drawing cards.

On Kelos's field, an impenetrable wall of defense instantly formed, leaving everyone in despair.

"Finally, the handling of ending the chain!"

"The effect of [Tech Genus - Super Librarian] applies. I draw one card from my deck."

Kairos deftly drew a card from the top of his deck and added it to his hand, but his gaze unconsciously swept over the incongruous [Baroness of Flowers] on the field, a complex emotion flashing in his eyes.

Actually, this powerful Synchro Monster card doesn't belong to him, but to Lilith, the pampered young lady among the Arbitrators.

【Baron of Flowers】possesses powerful three-color counters and has extremely simple entry conditions, making it a perfect endgame reinforcement for any Synchro deck.

As a deck focused on Synchro Summoning and pursuing the ultimate combo, this card is naturally a perfect fit for Kairos's deck.

He had shamelessly borrowed this from Lilith not long ago.

Within the Tianxing Arbitrators organization, the relationships among members are actually far more harmonious than outsiders imagine.

Although Lilith is young and has a tragic past, she is usually a bit sharp-tongued and always acts like a proud little adult, but she is actually very kind-hearted.

Basically, as long as it's a reasonable request, she'll help even while grumbling, which is why everyone in the arbitrators treats her as their "favorite."

Of course, this is mutual.

As a tech geek, whenever Kairos develops something new and interesting or improves the Duel Disk system, he immediately gives it to Lilith to play with.

Therefore, he and Lilith had a very good personal relationship.

Even on the issue of "the chosen ones," the two originally shared the same stance—they were both staunch "liberals" who were extremely averse to a person of unknown background suddenly appearing and issuing orders over them.

"But……"

Kelos's eyes suddenly sharpened, and an inexplicable anger surged within him.

For some reason, Lilith, who was originally on his side, changed her attitude towards this guy named You Yang drastically after just one trip.

At this moment, besides the anger at being forced to submit, Kelos felt a surge of annoyance, as if his own ignorant child had been deceived by sweet words.

"Lilith is too naive; she must have been deceived by this guy's hypocritical appearance."

Kairos stared coldly at You Yang across from him, his knuckles turning slightly white as he gripped the cards in his hand.

"In that case, let me be the villain."

"I'm going to teach this arrogant guy a lesson!"

"Furthermore, I will fully demonstrate my strength as one of the 'Seven Stars,' letting him know just how capable I really am!"

As for Vivian's disdainful gaze from the sidelines, Kelos was well aware of it.

Vivian and Lilith have a good relationship, and she has obviously heard about how Lilith risked her life to save Youyang by venturing alone into the unknown Elf Realm, even suffering mental trauma as a result.

Although Lilith explained after waking up that she hadn't been of much help, the act of risking her life to save him was enough to demonstrate You Yang's special place in her heart.

At least, she acknowledged You Yang's status as a "chosen one of the gods".

Now, however, Kairos is using the trump card that Lilith lent him to turn against You Yang, whom Lilith desperately saved.

In Vivian's view, this behavior was undoubtedly extremely unethical.

"Hmph, after the duel, knowing Lilith's temper, she'll probably turn my lab upside down..."

Kelos gave a bitter laugh to himself, but then the hesitation in his eyes was replaced by a firm fighting spirit.

"But before that—I must win!"

Despite feeling angry and confused about Lilith's "betrayal," Keros knew very well that he had no way out now.

As one of the "Seven Stars," he had to stand up at this moment, both for that proud title and to prove the independence of the arbitrators.

Within the arbitrators, only he and Lilith explicitly opposed the arrival of the "chosen one".

The others are either devout believers in the gods, like Tendou Ren.

Or they might be like Vivian, feeling that it doesn't matter who they pledge allegiance to.

It only needs to be strong enough against the opponent.

Lilith has now switched sides and sided with You Yang.

All that was left was him, Kelos.

Looking at the entire Celestial Arbitrators, apart from the "Seven Stars," the four major families, led by the Heavenly Dao Family, hold the highest authority.

Although none of the other four major families, except for the Heavenly Dao family, wanted an unknown person to be above them and give orders, there was still a gap in the vote count.

"I have to win... I have to make everyone see it!"

Kairos clenched his fists, his nails digging deep into his palms, and the data streaming in his eyes became more ferocious than ever before:

"Within the Celestial Arbiters, the power of the so-called 'Chosen Ones' is not indispensable!"

"Even without the power of gods, we can completely replace that power with the power of technology and evolution, and even do it better!"

With this resolute belief, Kelos suddenly waved his hand, his voice reaching its highest point!

"Then, the chain continued to climb!!"

"I activate the Accelerated Synchro effect of the [Tech Genus: Powerful Assault Trooper] that just revived from the graveyard!"

"It can only be launched during the opponent's main phase."

"Use monsters on your field that include this card as Synchro Material to perform a Synchro Summon!"

"This is the ultimate secret of technology! The realm of exceeding the speed of light!"

Kelos opened his arms as if embracing the entire data universe.

The virtual starry sky behind him began to tremble violently, and countless data streams converged into a storm, engulfing the three monsters on the field:

"I'll use my Level 2 Synchro Tuner [Tech Genus: Powerful Assault], Level 5 Synchro Monster [Tech Genus: Hyper Drive Dragoon], and Level 5 Synchro Monster [Tech Genus: Hyper Librarian]!"

"Three Synchro Monsters, perform Star Tuning!!"

“Level 2 + Level 5 + Level 5 = Level 12!!”

boom--!!!

In an instant, a dazzling dimensional light illuminated the entire dark data space, as if a supernova had exploded on the field.

The surrounding spatial barriers shattered like glass in the face of this terrifying energy, revealing the deep void behind them.

Kelos's voice echoed in the light, as if proclaiming the highest truth!

"Speed limiter removed, level MAX!!"

"Turn on the regulator!!"

"Direction navigation! All cleared!!"

"Infinite power that breaks through dimensions!"

"Speed faster than light, let's create the future!!"
