Yu-Gi-Oh!: This isn't a duel!

Chapter 122 Chaos Xyz Transformation! Chaos No. 62 Super Galaxy Eye Photon Dragon Emperor!

【Chaos No. 107 Super Galaxy Eyes Time-Space Dragon】【Rank 9】【Light/Dragon/Xyz/Effect】【ATK: 4500 / DEF: 3000】

You Yang drew a card from below [Chaos No. 107 Super Galaxy Eye Time-Space Dragon] and immediately said:

"I activate the effect of [Chaos No. 107 Super Galaxy Eye Time Dragon]!"

"Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to activate this effect."

"This turn, your opponent cannot activate any effects on the field. The effects of all face-up cards on the field except this card are negated until the end of the turn."

"—Time Tyrant!"

The three-headed golden Tyrannosaurus roared to the sky with supreme majesty. Its incomparably powerful kingly power transformed into a visible shockwave that distorted spacetime, instantly sweeping across the entire area!

Then, the entire dueling arena, along with everything within it, mysteriously transformed into a black-and-white photograph, an absolute stillness.

Time seemed to stand still at this moment.

This is the overwhelming and unreasonable power of Chaos No. 107, the Super Galaxy Eye Time Dragon!

"Chaos No. 107 Super Galaxy Eye Time-Space Dragon's effect is linked!"

"I open my face-down card and activate the Quick-Play Spell Card—[Invasive Infection]!"

"All 'Enchanted' monsters on your field are unaffected by the effects of Spell/Trap Cards other than this card until the end of this turn."

Gu Ning immediately opened a card that was placed face down in the backcourt!

Wisps of dark purple mist, filled with the aura of plague and corrosion, instantly condensed from the card.

It gushed forth, like a living venomous snake, and quickly coiled around the bodies of [Demonic Dragon Lord Ophion] and [Invading Source of Demons], forming purple crystals that shimmered with ominous light.

"The effect of [Chaos No. 107 Super Galaxy Eye Time Dragon] means I can't activate any effects that are already on the field until it is successfully activated."

"Therefore, I can chain this card's effect to activate the effect of [Aggressive Infestation]!"

As Gu Ning spoke, he glanced at his other face-down card—[Wall of Division].

This is a Normal Trap Card whose effect can only be activated when your opponent declares an attack.

All attack-value monsters on your opponent's field reduce their attack power by 800 (number of monsters on your opponent's field).

【Invasive Infection】 can protect your monsters from magical traps; 【Broken Wall】 can protect your monsters from being destroyed in battle.

This was the perfect plan he had originally prepared for You Yang.

But who could have imagined that You Yang would actually be able to draw the legendary [Rank-Up Magic - Seven Emperors' Sword] from his deck?

Xyz Monsters and Link Monsters do not have "levels"; they only have "class" and "LINK" value.

Therefore, they are completely unaffected by the sealing effect of his [Ophion the Demon Lord].

The reason he is still activating [Invasive Infection] now is simply to keep the two monsters on his field whose effects have been negated.

Don't let Youyang easily eliminate you with a single magic card that destroys the entire field.

Even if it's an attack signal, it should at least remain on the field as the last line of defense!

Hearing Gu Ning's explanation, You Yang nodded indifferently.

That's true. After all, the effect of [Chaos No. 107 Super Galaxy Eyes Time Dragon] doesn't have a powerful effect like "cannot be activated in response to the activation of this card, allowing the effects of Spells, Traps, or Monsters to be activated," so it can naturally be chained.

But what about that?

All the monster effects on your field have been negated by me.

The face-down cards in the back row can no longer be activated.

As far as "Galaxy-Eye" is concerned, you are now dead!

You Yang revealed two cards in his hand and said loudly:

"I activate the effect of [Metroidvania] in my hand."

"You can activate this effect by sending one other LIGHT monster from your hand to the Graveyard. Special Summon this card from your hand in Defense Position."

You Yang sent the other card he had revealed to the graveyard and continued:

"I choose to send the LIGHT monster 'Photon Emperor' from my hand to the Graveyard to Special Summon 'Metroid'!"

As soon as the words fell, a valiant warrior clad in sleek silver-white armor and adorned with golden brass knuckles emerged from the dazzling light of the summoning circle onto Youyang's field.

Metroid [★5]

[Light/Mechanical Race] [Attack: 2000 / Defense: 0]

"Next, I'll activate the [Metroid] entrance effect!"

"This effect can only be activated if this card is successfully Special Summoned."

Add 1 "Galaxy" monster from your Deck to your hand.

"I've decided to add [Galaxy-Eyes Residual Dragon] to my hand from my deck!"

A dazzling starlight shone, and You Yang drew another card from his deck!

"Next, I activate the effect of [Photon Emperor] in the graveyard!"

"If this card is sent to the Graveyard from outside the field, and if any other 'Photon' or 'Galaxy' monster is on your field or in your Graveyard, you can activate this effect."

"This card is Special Summoned in Defense Position."

"Revive, [Photon Emperor]!"

Amidst the vast starlight, a Photon Emperor, clad in magnificent golden armor, draped in a noble purple cloak, and wielding a sharp spear and a sturdy shield, silently appeared on Youyang's field.

[Light/Warrior Race] [Attack: 2800 / Defense: 1000]

"At this moment, the effect of [Photon Emperor] is activated."

"If this card is Normal or Special Summoned, you may Normal Summon 1 LIGHT monster during your Main Phase, in addition to your Normal Summon."

After You Yang finished speaking, he slapped down another card.

"Next, I usually summon the [Galaxy Mage] in my hand!"

A mysterious mage, cloaked in black and wearing a tall white hat, appeared on Youyang's field with a soft glow.

[Galactic Mage] [★4]

[Light/Mage Race] [Attack: 0 / Defense: 1800]

"Next, I activate the effect of [Galaxy Mage]!"

"This card must be released to activate the effect."

"Add 1 'Galaxy' card, other than 'Galaxy Magister', from your deck to your hand."

"I unleash it! Add [Galactic Expedition] to my hand from the deck!"

A holy white light gradually shone, and the figure of the mage on the field slowly dissipated, turning into a card that fell into You Yang's hand.

Without hesitation, You Yang inserted the card into the Duel Disk!

"I activate the magic card from my hand—[Galactic Expedition]!"

"Only one card with this name can be activated per turn."

"This effect can only be activated if you control a Level 5 or higher 'Photon' or 'Galaxy' monster."

Special Summon 1 Level 5 or higher "Photon" or "Galaxy" monster from your Deck in Defense Position.

"At this moment, I have the 8-star [Photon Emperor] and the rank 9 [Chaos No. 107 Super Galaxy Eye Time Dragon] on the field."

"Therefore, I can Special Summon 1 Level 5 or higher 'Photon' or 'Galaxy' monster from my Deck in Defense Position."

"What I want to summon, of course, is... this monster!"

Faint starlight once again converged from all directions. You Yang's originally jet-black trench coat was now dyed a pure, holy white by the dazzling starlight.

The faint starlight instantly became incredibly bright the moment it touched Youyang, illuminating the entire dueling arena!

"The Milky Way shines in the darkness!"

"Transform into the light of hope, and reside within me!"

"The embodiment of light descends here!"

"Show yourself! — [Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon]!"

Amidst the starlight, a monster took shape!

Blue starlight covered its enormous black body, giving it a star-like color, and within its pupils, a dazzling galaxy was spinning.

This is the Dragon of Light with the Eye of the Galaxy!

You Yang slowly closed his eyes. Faint starlight flickered around him with his breath, dancing like fireflies.

The moment You Yang opened his eyes again, he held up a card in his hand high.

The previously faint starlight seemed to be summoned, and all of it converged towards the card.

It transformed into a sliver of starlight, broken yet still bright, shining with its own indomitable light on this dueling arena frozen in time!

"I activate the effect of [Galaxy-Eyes Residual Light Dragon] in my hand!"

"This effect can only be activated if you control a 'Galaxy-Eyes' monster."

"Special Summon this card from your hand in Defense Position."

"Starlight shining in the darkness!"

"It transforms into the remaining color of the Milky Way, residing within my body!"

"The embodiment of light!"

"Descend here!"

"Appear! [Galaxy-Eye Residual Light Dragon]!"

You Yang slammed the card down in his hand, and the dazzling starlight shone again. A giant, translucent galactic dragon, seemingly formed from pure starlight, appeared on You Yang's field.
