As the smoke and dust cleared, Su Nuo lay amidst the ruins, the black markings on his chest much dimmer.
His four eyes were half-open and half-closed, and the black markings on his body began to fade.
It wasn't that he took it back voluntarily, but rather that Haddō's consciousness was regaining the upper hand.
“Time’s up.” Youren stood still, the shimmering white light slowly receding.
Su Nuo's consciousness was forced back in. He glanced at You Ren one last time and managed to squeeze out a question: "What's your name?"
"Kasuga Yuuto."
Su Nuo closed her eyes.
The black markings faded, the four eyes disappeared, and the muscles shrank back to the boy's outline. Itachi lay panting in the pile of rubble, his brown pupils still somewhat unfocused.
“Mr. Kasuga…” Itadori forced a hoarse smile, “Have I come back to life?”
Yuuto reached out and pulled Itachi from the pile of rubble. Itachi's legs were weak, and Yuuto helped him up.
"Thank you for your hard work. I'm sorry to have made you a punching bag."
Huzhang waved his hand and brushed the dust off his clothes.
He looked down at his torn school uniform and chuckled twice: "It's okay, it's not me getting beaten up. It's Su Nuo who's getting beaten up."
"But I think I can feel a little bit of what he's feeling...it hurts quite a bit."
Yuuto's lips twitched. Itajimaru's focus was always so peculiar.
"Are you two done?" Itadori looked at Yuuto, then at Gojo Satoru leaning against the wall.
Gojo Satoru emerged from the shadows, hands in his pockets, a look on his face that said, "I saw the whole show."
“It’s all over now.” Gojo Satoru walked up to Itadori and looked him up and down. “You’re Itadori Yuujin?”
"Yes……"
“Not bad. You suppressed Su Nu just now, that’s remarkable. You’re the first person in the last thousand years to do that.”
Itachi froze, blinked, then chuckled awkwardly and scratched his head. Suddenly remembering something, his expression changed: "Wait, is that Ryomen Sukuna still awake?"
Yuuto draped the coat he had picked up nearby over Itadori's body, covering his tattered clothes.
"He's here, but he can't get out yet. Can you sense him?"
Itachi closed his eyes, remained silent for a few seconds, and then opened them.
"Yes. He's inside, like a ball of fire, burning, but without making a sound."
"Can you hear him?" Gojo Satoru asked.
Itachi closed his eyes and listened again, his expression becoming subtle: "I can hear a little bit... He said, 'Who exactly is this kid named Itachi?'"
Yuuto and Gojo Satoru exchanged a glance. Both understood the meaning behind those words—not anger, not fear, but confusion. For the first time, the cursed king, who had lived for a thousand years, had his body control taken away by someone else, and had even been pinned to the ground and beaten for thirty seconds.
“Ignore him,” Yuuto said. “You don’t need to respond to him.”
Huzhang nodded.
Gojo Satoru tilted his head and looked at Itadori, his azure eyes exceptionally clear in the moonlight: "It's really surprising that you can control it so easily. I originally thought you could only suppress it for a second or two at most, but I didn't expect you to be able to hold on for so long, and even push Sukuna back in your mind."
Itarou scratched his head: "It wasn't easy... Just now, I knew he was trying to take my body from me, so I thought, 'This is the body that Grandpa left me, I can't give it to you,' and then I took it back."
Gojo Satoru smiled and didn't ask any more questions.
“However,” Itari slapped his forehead, looking somewhat troubled, “this guy is really noisy. I can hear his voice, like someone is constantly nagging in my ear.”
Yuuto shook his head: "But even just this is already a miracle."
"Most of the flesh-bearing vessels will be possessed by Sukuna's consciousness the moment they swallow the finger, and will become puppets."
"You not only preserved your own consciousness, but you were also able to suppress him in return. This is an unprecedented case in a thousand years."
"Oh." Itadori seemed to understand, but not quite. "Then, could we make him shut up?"
“No,” Gojo Satoru said, “but you’ll get used to it.”
Gojo Satoru turned his gaze to Yuuto, his tone becoming flippant: "Hey, Yuuto, did you just step on him? He looks pretty sturdy."
"I stepped on it. What happened?"
“It’s nothing,” Gojo Satoru smiled. “I was just wondering—when will it be my turn to step on it?”
He turned around to face the cursed king within Itadori's body, who was still sulking in the darkness.
"Hey kid, can you let him out one more time?"
Itadori paused for a moment: "Now?"
"Now. I was watching Yuuto play just now, and my hands started itching to play too."
Yuuto frowned, but did not stop him. He stepped back a few paces, making room for Gojo Satoru.
"Dragon stick, do me a favor."
Haddō was silent for a few seconds, then closed his eyes.
As his consciousness receded, Uruga's body underwent another transformation.
Black lines crept up the neck, four eyes opened on the lower eyelids, muscles swelled, and the clothes were torn again.
Sukuna emerged from the darkness and took the place of Khajiitsu.
The first thing he did upon opening his eyes was not to attack, but to look around.
He saw Yuuto standing in the distance with his arms crossed, watching the show, and he saw Gojo Satoru standing in front of him with his hands in his pockets.
"They changed people?" Su Nuo's voice was low, carrying a hint of barely perceptible anger.
"Hmm, it's my turn." Gojo Satoru said casually, "You couldn't beat the one before, and you're even less likely to beat this one."
Without a word, Sukuna launched himself forward, his claws aimed straight for Gojo Satoru's throat. His speed was so extreme that only a blurry afterimage remained.
Gojo remained motionless.
Su Nuo's body stopped when the claws were only three inches from his throat.
It didn't stop on its own; it was the lack of limits that infinitely stretched the space.
That three-inch distance can never be crossed.
Su Nuo first retracted his claws, then took the initiative to retreat, wanting to create distance and reassess his opponent.
But in the instant he retreated, Gojo Satoru reached out and grabbed his ankle.
Sukuna looked down at the hand, then watched as Gojo Satoru lifted his body up like a chick, swung it in the air in a half-circle, and then slammed it heavily to the ground.
"boom!"
Debris flew everywhere, creating a crater two meters in diameter in the ground. Su Nuo's body was embedded in the crater, black liquid seeping from the corners of his mouth, his four eyes wide open.
"That's it?" Gojo Satoru stood at the edge of the pit, looking down at him, his tone tinged with disappointment.
Sukuna suddenly rolled over, trying to stand up. Gojo Satoru stepped on his back, stomping him back into the pit.
"Don't rush to get up. I haven't had enough fun yet."
Sukuna struggled a few times, and Gojo Satoru released his grip.
Su Nuo immediately sprang up, roaring to the sky. Black patterns slithered wildly under his skin as he formed hand seals, attempting to use a spell.
Gojo Satoru was faster. He placed a hand on Sukuna's head, making him appear shorter.
The hand seal was interrupted, and his body tilted forward uncontrollably.
Gojo Satoru shifted to the side and pushed Sukuna's body, sending it spinning like a top for over a dozen times before crashing headfirst into a pile of rubble.
Disgusted.
Sukuna crawled out of the rubble, covered in dust, with black liquid seeping from a wound on his forehead. He looked at Gojo Satoru, his four eyes filled with disbelief.
"Are you... not serious at all?" Su Nuo's voice was low.
Gojo Satoru tilted his head and chuckled, "Seriously? Why should I be serious, kid?"
Su Nuo fell silent.
He charged forward again, squeezing out every last bit of power from that single finger. Claws, fists, kicks, and spell-based attacks—he even resorted to rudimentary spatial manipulation.
Gojo Satoru still wasn't serious.
He didn't even move his feet; he just stood there and caught all the attacks with one hand.
The claws, though seemingly boundless, couldn't even touch the hem of his clothes. The impact of the cursed power struck him like pebbles thrown into the ocean.
He also added a couple of comments: "That punch wasn't powerful enough, and that claw was at the wrong angle. When you use the reversal technique, can you not make it so obvious?"
"I can predict your next move."
Su Nuo's anger reached its peak.
He suddenly stepped back, creating distance, and stared intently at Gojo Satoru with all four eyes.
His chest heaved violently, not from serious injury, but from anger.
For thousands of years, no one has dared to speak to him like that.
But today, he encountered two.
One person pinned him to the ground and beat him for thirty seconds, while another spun him around like a top and then commented on his punches and kicks.
shame.
Su Nuo's anger burned so fiercely that he almost lost his mind, but at that moment his consciousness was pushed back by another force.
Huzhang's consciousness began to rise.
The black markings faded, the four eyes disappeared, and the muscles retracted. Su Nuo's body struggled a few times on the uneven ground before returning to stillness.
Time is up.
Huzhang opened his eyes, his brown pupils somewhat unfocused, and his body was covered in bruises.
Before he could even stand up straight, Gojo Satoru pulled him up.
Sukuna was clearly furious, partly because he was insulted and beaten by Yuuto and Gojo Satoru, and treated like a clown.
On the other hand, the fact that the cane of tiger allowed him to come and go at will fueled his extreme anger.
