As for Qianyu, as long as he can successfully repair the Book of Time, the Demon Era will burst like a soap bubble, and all the remaining troubles will naturally disappear.

So just go to Australia. There's no need to do what Xiaoyu did in the original story, stuffing each demon back into the gates of hell with the Pangu Box.

Xiaoyu tilted her head and thought about it, then realized it made sense and was about to say something.

The old man suddenly opened his eyes from his meditation and let out a loud exclamation.

"oops!"

"Dad has a bad feeling! A demon has appeared in the sky!"

Upon hearing this, everyone looked up at the same time.

Above, in the cloudless sky, a small black dot was rapidly growing larger.

It's not a bird; no bird can fly at that height, nor can any bird fly that fast.

That thing was diving at an astonishing speed.

The outline transformed from a blurry ink blob into a pair of enormous, outstretched bat wings, beneath which hung a gray-blue body, roughly the size of an adult male, but whose shape was completely unlike that of a human.

The thing leveled out at a height of about ten meters above the flying carpet, flapped its wings twice, and landed steadily on the edge of the carpet.

Jackie Chan reacted extremely quickly, instantly springing up from the blanket, spreading his legs into a standard defensive stance, clenching his fists in front of his chest, and staring intently at the uninvited guest.

The old man quickly put his hand into his pocket and touched the stone talisman with the pig pattern carved on it.

Xiaoyu immediately hid behind Jackie Chan.

But what appeared before them was a demon.

It had grayish-blue skin, pointed ears, a pair of folded bat wings on its back, and a lizard tail trailing behind it, swaying from side to side. It wore a pair of light purple shorts and nothing else.

The monster that fell from the sky did not show any intention to attack.

His red, vertical pupils swept over the four people on the flying carpet, and then his expression turned as excited as if he had won the lottery.

"My God! This is unbelievable! You are human beings! Normal human beings! Alive! Not insane!"

The demon slapped his thigh dramatically, spread his arms, and began to chatter incessantly on the flying carpet like a complete chatterbox.

"I was flying up there just now, and I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me! Do you know how long it's been since I've seen a normal person? At least three months! Three months! This godforsaken place is full of lunatics, I'm about to suffocate!"

"What are you?" Jackie Chan asked loudly, maintaining a wary posture.

"What is that?" The demon looked offended, flapping its bat wings twice in annoyance, sending a gust of wind flying in Jackie Chan's face. "What do you call me?"

The old man took out the pig talisman and said solemnly:

"Your father advises you to learn some manners, Mr. Devil."

"Hehe, relax, don't be so tense."

The demon seemed to recognize the thing and immediately waved its claws.

"I'm just curious, in this day and age, a human who can escape from the Holy Lord's territory and still maintain such a clean and refreshing appearance is rarer than gold falling from the sky."

Qianyu stood at the back of the flying carpet, sizing up this talkative devil.

With gray-blue skin, bat wings, and a lizard tail, he is the smallest of the eight demons.

Sky Demon, Ximu.

In the original timeline, this is the younger brother of the Holy Lord.

Having been tricked by Shendu, he was one of the few demons who could get along with Shendu, but it was only to the extent of "I may look down on you, but at least I won't spit on you to your face".

After the history books were altered, the eight great demons each took a piece of the continent as their lord, and Westwood was given the sky and part of Europe.

Qianyu clicked her tongue inwardly.

He never imagined that, having just made a bold prediction, he would actually run into this bat spirit flying around in the sky on the vast ocean.

Chapter 191 Ximu Joins the Team

Ximu leaned closer, sniffed the air, and his surprise deepened.

"No sulfur smell, no rotten sea smell, and you don't even have a trace of infection on you? It's amazing. How did you do that?"

These seemingly random words left the people on the flying carpet completely bewildered.

Jade peeked half her head out from behind Jackie Chan and couldn't help but ask a question.

"What do you mean by that? Are you saying there are no normal humans left in the outside world?"

"You don't know?" Ximu's eyes widened dramatically. "There are no normal people left in the outside world, little girl! All humans have gone mad!"

There was a moment of silence on the flying carpet.

"I don't know when it started, but those disgusting yellow vines are growing everywhere on the ground."

"When they encounter someone, they start to get confused. First, they start drooling, then their eyes turn red, and finally they stop recognizing people and start hitting anything they see."

Ximu pointed to his head and shook it vigorously.

"Even my brothers and sisters were affected. Bogan was the first to fall; that thing first appeared in the area she ruled. Then it was Dikui, then Basha..."

He counted them by counting his paws.

"Zhongsu, Zhoulan, and Xiaofeng have all become completely irrational."

"Last time I flew over Howling Wind's territory, he sprayed me with a whole tornado. We used to fight, but at least we'd make up afterwards. But now his eyes are all red, he looks like a vegetable."

Mysterious plant? Madness?

Chiyu keenly grasped these two keywords.

He immediately recalled the dark red tentacles he had seen all over the floor of the Holy Lord's bedroom last night, as well as the pungent smell of the sea.

"Even demons can be infected?" Old Man's eyebrows furrowed.

Ximu scratched the tip of his tail.

"Anyway, I flew all over the place, from Europe to America and then to Asia, and it was the same everywhere. Those rattan vines are growing faster and faster; you can't even touch them."

"Because I live in the sky. Those vines can't climb too high; they wither once they're above the clouds. So I always stay in the sky, and I dare not land anywhere."

"We only land occasionally when we're so hungry we can't stand it anymore, to find something to eat, and then fly back."

He added a sentence

"That's why I was curious and came down to take a look when I saw you flying over the sea."

"........."

Seeing the silent crowd, Ximu seemed to realize that he hadn't introduced himself yet.

"Oh right, I forgot to introduce myself."

"I am Ximu, the Sky Demon who rules the sky, one of the eight great demons, and the embodiment of 'Qian' in the Bagua. The entire sky is my territory, although it doesn't seem to be worth much anymore."

After he finished speaking, he looked around at the four faces, clearly waiting for a reaction of shock, awe, or at least obsequiousness.

However, all three faces simultaneously showed a blank expression.

"...Who?" Xiaoyu tilted her head.

"west Mu." Jackie Chan repeated the name, then looked at his father, "Do you know him?"

Dad shook his head.

"Never heard of it."

Ximu's expression froze.

"You don't know who I am? I am! The Sky Demon! Ximu! The King who rules the sky!"

"You humans live on the Holy Lord's territory, yet you don't know about the Eight Great Demons? You don't even know how many brothers and sisters your ruler has?"

All three of them shook their heads in unison.

Qianyu, watching this scene from behind, almost couldn't hold back her emotions.

Of course he knew who Ximu was.

One of the core characters in the second season of Jackie Chan Adventures, the Demon Saga, he was sealed by Han Xiangzi with a flute. He appeared at the entrance of the girls' restroom at Fenway Stadium, and infiltrated Xiaoyu's school under the alias "Sam" to steal her tail.

However, the main characters' timeline is currently stuck in the first season's talisman arc.

In the original story, the plot about the eight demons being released from the Gates of Hell only happened in the second season, after the complete conclusion of the Charms arc.

It's perfectly normal that Jackie Chan and his crew only have dealings with Shendu and the Black Hand Gang, so they don't know Ximu.

Ximu, with his large, bat-like wings spread wide, stood awkwardly in mid-air for a full five seconds.

I had originally thought that announcing my name would elicit a gasp of fear, or even just the sound of knees hitting the ground.

The expressions on these people's faces were as if they were seeing a homeless man dressed in strange clothes trying to sell expired insurance.

"Okay, okay."

Ximu scratched his pointed ears with his paws, and his tail started wagging again.

"It seems that in this crazy world where everyone is going crazy, my famous name is really no longer very useful. But it doesn't matter whether we know each other or not. We're just strangers who met by chance, so let's just be friends."

His scarlet eyes darted around the four of them, finally settling on Xiaoyu, who seemed the least threatening.

"Speaking of which, human kids, where are you planning to go, flying aimlessly through the sky?"

Qianyu was just about to make up an excuse when Xiaoyu blurted it out.

"Australia!"

Qianyu's eye twitched.

He turned to look at Xiaoyu, who was completely unaware of what she had done and was still staring innocently at Ximu waiting for a reply.

This little girl, just a few words of flattery from a winged demon, and she readily confessed everything.

Should we also report the speed of the flying carpet and the blood types of the four people?

"Australia?" Westwood's red eyes lit up. "Oh, that place. I've been there."

"Well, there's practically no one alive there now. Everywhere you look, there are these yellow vines sprouting from the ground, densely packed. But if you can get rid of them, it's not uninhabitable. At least it's better than Europe, where even the sky is red."

As he spoke, a sly glint flashed in Ximu's scarlet eyes.
