A cold glint flashed in Sagles's eyes.

The "Rampaging Explosion" struck the snake's middle section precisely, blasting it in two. Immediately afterward, a crimson cursed light flashed, tearing the upper half of the snake's body into a shower of blood.

From within the blood mist, the man, carrying the woman, appeared disheveled. His lips moved, emitting hissing, serpentine sounds. Suddenly, three eerie green snakes sprang from beside Sagres's feet—

"Families and bones are dwindling!"

Sargeras swung his wand violently, and a gray-white light flashed, instantly stripping the flesh and blood off the three venomous snakes, turning them into skeletons that fell to the ground.

But more giant snakes were surging in from all directions, each as thick as a bucket, with eerie purple flames dancing in their vertical pupils.

Sagres stared at the giant serpents, his expression unchanging, and coldly uttered four words—"The stars have fallen!"

The sky suddenly darkened, and hundreds of meteors tore through the clouds, streaking down with long, fiery tails.

This forbidden spell, which razed the fairy fortress "Black Iron City" to the ground in 1717, a spell that originally required seven wizards to cast together and had to be performed while standing on the ruins of an ancient observatory, was now casually used by Sargeras.

The air was thick with the scent of destruction, and everywhere you looked were falling meteorites, indiscriminately bombarding everything in Sagres' sight.

Taking advantage of a lull in the meteor shower, Sagrais waved his wand again: "Corpses, come!"

All the shattered giant snakes and undead remains gathered towards him, their blood turning into scarlet threads that intertwined in the air to form eerie runes.

"Flesh and blood forged together!"

The wreckage began to twist and fuse, the bones emitting a teeth-grinding grinding sound.

Yet another infamous forbidden transfiguration spell, an evil incantation explicitly prohibited by the International Wizarding Federation. This terrifying magic, capable of forcibly fusing the flesh and blood of multiple life forms into a war behemoth, was once again used by Sargeras without any restraint.

Within seconds, a colossal, 80-foot-tall beast of flesh rose from the ground, with the torso of a giant, the wings of a fire dragon, the tentacles of an octopus, and the heads of a series of different creatures.

Each head emitted a piercing howl, its cries mingling with the lamentations of all the creatures that had been merged.

Sagres stood atop the giant beast's shoulder, his black robes fluttering in the heat. He looked down at the two disheveled figures below, a cruel smile playing on his lips.

Chapter 56 Trading

“Wait a minute, traveler…” one of them raised his head with difficulty, his voice hoarse.

"Beg for mercy?" Sagrais sneered, his long, slender fingers toying with the wand he had stolen. "Don't you think it's too late to say that now?"

With a crisp snapping sound, the opponent's wand broke in two.

“You forced me to use these spells…” He took a deep breath, his tone tinged with emotion, “I originally thought these spells would forever remain buried in my heart.”

A burning meteor struck the fleshy monster, the fiery meteorite miraculously merging into its massive body like a drop of water. The monster's skin began to glow with an eerie red light, as if it had gained new power.

"Choose a way to die," Sagrais's voice was eerily calm. "Quick... or slow?"

The flesh-and-blood monster let out a deafening roar, and its enormous body began to writhe.

"Kill us, and you will be lost forever in the river of time!" the woman suddenly shouted, her voice unusually clear in the howling wind.

Sagres's brow furrowed suddenly. He raised his left hand slightly, and the countless meteors instantly froze in mid-air, while the flesh-and-blood monster stopped moving.

“Interesting…” He tapped his wand lightly, and the broken wand was restored to its original state in a blue light.

“Tell me…” His gaze was sharp, his tone leaving no room for argument, “Royna Ravenclaw, what else do you know?”

The woman met his gaze without any surprise, as if she had expected him to recognize her.

“You need my help, otherwise when the hourglass runs out, you will be trapped in the cracks of time forever.”

Sagrass narrowed his eyes: "Go on."

“I have come following the guidance of the stars to show you the way home.” Ravenclaw’s eyes gleamed. “In exchange, you need to solve some… trouble for us.”

Sagrass's lips curled into a cold smile: "Let's change the terms. For example, you help me solve my problems, and in exchange..." His gaze swept over the two men, "I'll let you leave alive!"

"make a deal!"

The other party's decisiveness surprised Sagrais, who even suspected that the other party had already prepared to concede from the beginning.

"So how will you help me solve this problem?" he asked.

"You need to give me the hourglass first..."

Sagres looked at the other person without saying anything, but in the end he still took out the hourglass and tossed the repaired wand to the other person as well.

Rowena Ravenclaw examined the hourglass for a while before slowly speaking.

"You got it from someone else?"

Sagres remained noncommittal. "What's the problem?"

"The hourglass has been tampered with..."

Sagres narrowed his eyes, his first thought being Snow Owl, but then he remembered that the other party had already given him a warning.

Ravenclaw continued speaking.

“Although the other party’s technique was very precise, their skill was quite crude…” Her fingertips lightly traced the faintly visible golden threads, and she said with certainty, “This is not an accident, but a carefully designed trap. Someone pulled out a key node from the thread of fate, which is why you appeared at this wrong time.”

Sagles's Adam's apple bobbed, and his face turned grim. Ravenclaw thought he had figured out who the murderer was, but in reality, he was slapping himself in the face.

He certainly knew who the murderer was—the foolish and arrogant Sagres Greengrass.

"How do we fix it?" He avoided Ravenclaw's probing gaze and took the opportunity to change the subject.

The witch sighed, and silver-blue sparks flew from the tip of her wand: "Once the complete threads of fate are broken, they are difficult to restore. However..."

She pulled a Ptolemaic planetarium the size of a pigeon's egg from her clothes; it also looked like a time converter.

She tossed it to Sagles and said calmly, "Use it back; I've already set the time for you..."

Sagras picked up the planetarium, glanced at it, and then put it in his pocket. "So, what trouble do you want me to help you with?"

A smile appeared on Ravenclaw's face, but it vanished in an instant.

"The witch hunt is intensifying, with more and more wizards and witches being hunted down, tried, and executed. The church's stake, the nobles' bounties, and the Muggle panic—these things are driving wizards to the brink of despair."

Salazar Slytherin raised his arm, and magical images appeared: a young witch being dragged to a rack, her tattered skirt revealing a cat's tail that had failed to transform.

The crowd cheered wildly, some of the bolder ones whipping her with sticks, and some even using tongs meant for holding charcoal to lift her skirt.

There were also some children captured by Muggles because of the magical riots. They had almost no ability to resist and were subjected to cruel interrogations and waterboarding tests. If they sank, they were innocent (but would drown), and if they floated, they would be judged as wizards (and then executed).

In a dark dungeon, an old man, shackled and chained, has his fingernails ripped off with iron pliers, simply because a neighbor accused him of "causing the cows to stop producing milk with his gaze"...

Charred skin peels off in the flames, children struggle in waterlogged sacks, and the screams of torturers are heard as their fingernails are pulled out.

The actual scenes were far more brutal than the witch hunts recorded in history.

While the victims of these frenzied witch hunts were mostly Muggles, the wizards themselves suffered devastating blows as well.

The master-apprentice system of inheritance left magic in a rather ignorant state at this time, with most wizards having no ability to resist when facing the church's army and noble knights.

Sagles remained silent for a long time.

"What do you want me to do?" he heard his own hoarse voice. "Start a war? Or..."

“We need to make changes,” Ravenclaw said firmly and earnestly. “We need to protect young wizards and pass on magical knowledge.”

"So you want to start a school?"

"A school? A school that specifically trains wizards?" Ravenclaw raised an eyebrow slightly.

“Isn’t that right?” Sagres retorted.

“No… a school is indeed a good idea…” Ravenclaw said thoughtfully, “but…”

“It’s not that simple!” Slytherin suddenly interjected.

"So what exactly do you need me to do?"

“You know what to do,” Ravenclaw looked at him meaningfully, “you know what to do…”

Sagres immediately understood. As a time traveler, he knew the future. They didn't need him to reveal everything, but they needed him to point them in the right direction.

“Then let’s build a school, right here.” He controlled the flesh monster to stomp its foot. “Hogwarts, to take in all children who have awakened magical talent.”

"Hogwarts?" The two people not far away were somewhat puzzled. "The name of the school? Why is it called Hog...Wars..."

"If you don't like it, you can call me Azkaban!"

"Hogwarts it is..." Ravenclaw had a vague feeling that the second name might not have a good meaning.

"But why? What special significance does Hogwarts hold?" Slytherin frowned and couldn't help but ask.

“Don’t ask!” Sagres said bluntly, though he himself didn’t know the answer either.

……

This is not only about saving wizards, it's also about saving Muggles.

After all, the Muggles who were falsely accused of being wizards were the most innocent, but no one would lend them a helping hand.

Wizards wouldn't, and Muggles certainly wouldn't.

But perhaps Sagres was willing because he used to be a Muggle?

“This matter needs to be discussed when Godric and Helga return…” Ravenclaw concluded, “They are our comrades…”

Sagres didn't reply, but simply raised his hand and waved it, causing the meteorite suspended in the sky to suddenly change direction and accelerate its descent.

They smashed a huge crater in the distance, and the intense heat melted the rocks at the bottom of the crater into charred glass.

Chapter 57 The Young Four Giants

During the waiting period, Sargeras spent most of his time learning the secrets of time magic from Ravenclaw.

This is quite profound and extremely dangerous, completely different from the damaging magic he created before.

Meanwhile, in the wilderness not far away, Salazar Slytherin was dissecting a monster created by Sargeras using "Flesh Forged".

His makeshift studio was bathed in a dark green glow.

The serpentine candlestick embedded in the stone wall spewed cold flames, twisting his shadow into a strange shape in the wilderness.

On the simple workbench, a series of silver scalpels gleamed coldly, each hilt inlaid with an organ from a different creature—the vertical pupil of a harpy, the amber iris of a centaur, the crystallized tear gland of a unicorn…
