His attacks were lightning fast, forcing Voldemort to retreat continuously, and he could only rely on Apparition to survive.

"Is all you can do, Tom?"

Sargeras's voice came from all directions, each syllable pounding on Voldemort's psychological defenses.

His figure appeared and disappeared on the battlefield unpredictably, sometimes appearing on top of tombstones, sometimes behind Death Eaters, and each time he appeared, he would launch an attack from an unexpected angle.

Voldemort roared in fury, and a crimson flame erupted from his wand, twisting and turning into a giant serpent that lunged at Sargeras.

However, Sagres merely waved his wand lightly, his words cold and detached:

"You forgetful idiot!"

The fiery red serpent suddenly faded in color the moment it approached him, instantly transforming into a pale fire raven that turned and flew towards Voldemort.

In his haste, Voldemort could only Apparate again, grabbing a Death Eater to use as a human shield.

But Sagrath's attack followed immediately; a red light struck the Death Eater instantly, and with a splash, blood drenched Voldemort.

"Keep running, Tom."

Voldemort was now terrified and his soul was about to leave him.

He truly felt the breath of death.

As someone who had "died once," Voldemort's fear of death far exceeded that of ordinary people.

He frantically Apparated again, but Sagrais's pursuit was relentless.

"The undead have risen!"

The corpses inside the ring of fire rose up in response and lunged menacingly at the terrified Black Demon King.

The surviving Death Eaters were already in complete disarray. Apart from Barty the Younger, who was still fighting the fire wolf, the rest of them tried to Apparate and escape.

During a lull in the pursuit, Sagres swung his staff into the sky, abruptly extinguishing the two newly lit teleportation beams, followed by the falling of shattered pieces of corpses.

The group of corpses that had risen again pounced on Voldemort, with Wormtail extending his silver right hand and grabbing Voldemort's robe.

"Go away!"

Voldemort roared and swung his wand violently, severing the arm that was gripping him at the shoulder with a sharp cutting spell, but the silver hand still held tightly to the hem of his robe.

In that instant of hesitation, Sargeras suddenly appeared directly in front of Voldemort, his wand flashing with a speed imperceptible to the naked eye—

Whoosh!Whoosh!Whoosh!

Three beams of red light shot out towards Voldemort in a triangular formation.

The first strike hit the corpse blocking his path, while the second grazed the hem of his robe.

Voldemort attempted to Apparate, only to find the space completely sealed off; he raised his trembling wand to defend himself, but he was powerless to even cast the simplest spell.

Time seemed to freeze at that moment.

Under the horrified gaze of all the Death Eaters, the final crimson beam struck Voldemort's body with unstoppable force.

"Do not--!"

Voldemort's roar abruptly stopped in his throat.

Those scarlet eyes were wide open in disbelief, reflecting Sagres's cold and stern face.

Whoosh!

The once invincible Voldemort transformed into a pool of dark red, boiling blood, which slowly seeped into the soil of the cemetery.

His wand rolled to the side and was instantly engulfed in flames.

A deathly silence enveloped the entire cemetery.

The Death Eaters stared dumbfounded at the pool of blood, some staggering backward, others dropping their wands without even noticing.

Barty Crouch Jr. knelt on the ground, his face pale, his lips trembling but unable to utter a sound.

Sargeras waved his wand repeatedly, causing the pale flames surrounding the graveyard to surge violently, from which several magical creatures made of fire leaped out.

The Death Eaters, having lost their will to fight, fled in all directions as the fire monsters pursued them, but none of them escaped being reduced to ashes in the raging flames.

Sagres slowly lowered his wand and walked to Barty, who was kneeling on the ground.

The fanatical believer was intently stroking the pool of dark red blood, as if trying to find traces of its owner within it.

"Guess what will happen to you," Sagles said calmly.

Little Barty suddenly looked up, his eyes burning with a frenzied hatred: "Kill me!"

"No."

Sagles gently shook his head. "You are not like your master. For him, death is the most terrible punishment. But you..."

"Kill me!" Little Barty repeated, his face ashen.

Sagles continued to shake his head, then leaned slightly closer to Barty Jr.:

“I will turn you into a step in the foyer of Hogwarts. Day after day, year after year, every student entering or leaving the castle will step over you. Through wind and sun, rain and snow, you will remain conscious forever, until the end of your life.”

Little Barty's lifeless eyes finally flickered with a hint of emotion. Sagres straightened up and added expressionlessly, "Believe me, I mean what I say."

……

When the gigantic raven Lochteis landed in front of Hogwarts Castle carrying Harry, the entire castle was shrouded in a depressing chaos.

The professors hurriedly organized the students to gather in the auditorium, their faces filled with unease and fear.

"Merlin's beard! What's that—a fire dragon?"

Professor Flitwick, standing in the foyer, was the first to spot the enormous dark shadow in the night sky.

Professor McGonagall adjusted her wizard hat, looked up, and squinted to make a closer look.

After the initial shock, she recognized the raven's distinctive shape: "No, Felius, that's Greengrass's raven... and it seems to be carrying a person on its back."

Snape's black robes billowed as he strode forward, a sharp glint in his dark eyes: "It's Potter."

As they were talking, the giant raven gracefully circled and landed, its broad wings slowly folding.

Harry slid off its back, his feet still trembling slightly as they touched the ground.

Lochteis let out a low cry and gently nuzzled Harry's shoulder with its black head, as if to soothe the frightened boy.

"Harry!"

Professor McGonagall was the first to rush forward, her face deathly pale. "Thank you, Merlin, you're still alive..."

Dumbledore followed closely behind, his blue eyes behind his half-moon spectacles sharply scanning Harry's entire body to check if he was injured.

His pupils contracted slightly when his gaze fell on Harry's severed finger.

“Mrs. Pomfrey,” he instructed the school doctor who was waiting nearby, “please treat Harry’s injuries immediately.”

Harry shook his head, his face pale, but his voice was unusually firm: "Professor, you must go and help Professor Greengrass immediately. Voldemort... he has risen from the dead."

This statement is like throwing a boulder into a calm lake.

The professors around gasped, while the students who had just gathered around whispered among themselves in fear, the sound of their conversation spreading rapidly through the crowd.

“In a place called Little Hangleton,” Harry quickly added, “in a cemetery next to a church, where not only Voldemort is, but also a lot of Death Eaters!”

Just as everyone was in shock, Lochtis suddenly spoke:

"No need to come."

After saying this, it spread its huge wings and soared into the sky to the astonishment of the crowd, quickly disappearing into the dark night sky.

Chapter 379 Returning to Hogwarts

After the raven left, Madam Pomfrey immediately went to check Harry's injuries.

When she saw the severed finger, her brows furrowed tightly.

“This is a cut caused by dark magic,” she said gravely, “and a very evil one at that. I’m sorry, Mr. Potter, but I don’t know the specific anti-curse, and I can’t make it regenerate.”

The verdict silenced everyone around.

Ron opened his mouth wide, and Hermione covered her mouth with her hand, her eyes instantly filling with tears.

However, Harry remained surprisingly calm.

He looked down at his right hand, which was no longer bleeding, where an index finger was missing.

“It’s alright, Mrs. Pomfrey.”

He even forced a smile, saying, "If Voldemort could be completely wiped out with just one finger, then this deal couldn't be better."

Hermione opened her mouth but didn't speak. Harry looked up and continued, "Professor Greengrass should have killed Voldemort by now, right? What do you think?"

His optimism made Professor McGonagall turn her head away, and Snape's expression was also quite complicated.

Finally, at Dumbledore's instruction, Madam Pomfrey gave Harry some sedatives and nutritional supplements, and then placed him on a bed at the very back of the university hospital.

When Harry finally lay down on the soft, clean bed, a huge wave of exhaustion washed over him, but he just couldn't fall asleep.

Ron and Hermione sat around the bed, Dumbledore pulled up a chair and sat down, while Professor McGonagall and Snape stood at the foot of the bed.

All eyes were on Harry.

“Well then, Harry,” Dumbledore said gently, “if you’d like, and feel clear-headed enough, could you tell us what happened after you were taken away?”

Harry took a deep breath, nodded, and began to recount his incredible experience.

He began by recounting how Barty Crouch Jr. took him to Little Hangleton's graveyard, describing how Voldemort "lived" inside Nagini in a chilling way, and how Wormtail helped complete that horrific resurrection ritual.

“...and then he used my blood,” Harry’s voice was a little dry, “to complete the ritual and get a new body.”

When Harry recounted how Voldemort summoned Death Eaters and flaunted his power in front of everyone, Ron's face turned as pale as his, while Hermione gripped the sheets tightly.

“Just when I thought it was all over,” Harry’s eyes lit up, “Professor Greengrass appeared. He was disguised as a Death Eater and was standing in the crowd!”

He described in detail how Sargeras confronted Voldemort, then sent him away by some unknown means, and how Lochteis caught him in the night sky.

"I had no idea Loctis was so powerful!"

Dumbledore said with some surprise, "This is no ordinary ability, to become so huge..."
