He could only watch helplessly as Noi stepped on a patch of thick, red liquid and drew ever closer to him.

The bright red stains were left on Noi Kuroko's feet, and as the other person lifted up, they tried to drip down again, merging back into the blood-red ground.

Borden took out a microcomputer from the backpack behind him and began typing.

Ihara nodded, relaxing slightly.

Shunling obediently curled up into a ball and stood in a corner of the elevator.

Only Li Mana remained calm, gripping her weapon and constantly scanning the inside of the elevator.

Li Zhenna frowned slightly; she seemed to have heard some noise.

In fact, the monster was right in the center of the four of them. Shunling, who was closest to it, was filled with fear, her hands trembled slightly, and she involuntarily shrank back.

Mana observed carefully and found that the monster was somewhat humanoid, but she couldn't make out its face or sense organs such as eyes.

Its face had a hideous, gaping mouth filled with sharp, vertical teeth. Its body was severely swollen.
