Pirate: It's reasonable for me to simulate a Super Saiyan, right?

Just the fact that this lineup is being publicized will likely garner a lot of attention, not to mention the official start of the event.

With a large number of pirates gathering, the Pirate Expo was already in constant fighting even before it started.

Some pirates who had grudges still started fighting on the spot.

Eustace Kidd, who was rather belligerent, got into another fight.

Morgans was not surprised but delighted, and he recorded everything, even taking out a camera to take pictures himself.

But as he was taking pictures, Morgans suddenly stopped in shock, looked in a certain direction, and his pupils contracted.

"That's...!?"

Suddenly, a solitary figure appeared, riding a bicycle from the distant sea.

That's right, they came by bicycle.

Those who witnessed this scene widened their eyes in surprise, and the pirates fighting in that direction instinctively stopped what they were doing.

"That person is..."

"Admiral Aokiji!?"

"What? It's him!?"

"There's absolutely no doubt about it, only he has this ability!"

"Aokiji!? What's he doing here!?"

Morgans picked up the telescope, and sure enough, he was right.

Through the telescope, a tall, slender figure leisurely approached on a bicycle.

Along the way, a conspicuous path of ice crystals appeared on the sea.

Who else could it be but Aokiji!?

Upon seeing Aokiji, most of the pirates turned pale.

The title of Admiral is no joke!

Even Morgans' expression froze.

However, what worried him more was that Aokiji's appearance here might be an attempt to take this opportunity to wipe out all the pirates in the area.

But then he thought about it again and shook his head.

The sheer number of pirates gathered at the Pirate Expo is unimaginable; their bounties alone easily exceed 10 billion Berries.

Even Aokiji couldn't possibly handle such a large and powerful pirate force by himself!

So, why did he come here?!

But with that thought, Morgans's gaze became intense again.

The arrival of such an important figure as Aokiji, regardless of his purpose, seems to be big news!

In short, this big news is confirmed!

Chapter 287 World Military Draft, the Permanent Pointer Representing the Pirate King's Throne

Naval Headquarters.

Marshal's office.

Akainu has already taken office, replacing Sengoku.

Early in the morning, information from the Pirate Expo came over.

Akainu's face darkened.

"A pirate expo!?"

Akainu's eyelids twitched even more after learning that Aokiji had also gone there.

Just a few days ago, the Five Elders reprimanded Aokiji for leaving the Navy.

I never expected that Aokiji would actually get involved in the One Piece World Expo.

"That bastard..."

Akainu gritted his teeth and muttered something, then suddenly picked up a cigar and started puffing on it.

He learned to smoke cigars after the Marineford War.

This stuff not only relieved the pain he felt after his battle with Aokiji, but also slightly alleviated some of his immense stress.

Yes.

Akainu, now a Fleet Admiral, feels immense pressure.

Previously, when he was just a vice admiral or admiral, all he had to do was charge into battle and bravely kill the enemy.

But now that he has become a naval admiral, he has come to understand the pressure of the Warring States period.

The entire naval affairs rested on his shoulders.

The situation is complex and multifaceted, making it impossible to understand the underlying principles.

He suddenly felt a pang of nostalgia for his days as a general.

Don't overthink it, just unleash a big fireball.

But now, it's too late to say anything.

Now that he has become a naval admiral, he must make a difference.

In fact, the whole situation, though complex, is actually quite simple.

It's simply about leading the entire navy to continue becoming stronger.

The tide of the times has clearly arrived, and they absolutely cannot afford to remain stagnant!

Thinking of this, Akainu quickly issued an order: "Summon the Navy's high command for a meeting!"

soon.

The naval leadership was summoned for a meeting.

Those present included Sengoku, Tsuru, Kizaru, Onigumo, and Momonga.

This was, in fact, Akainu's first meeting since taking office.

The theme of the meeting was naturally set by Akainu.

This was an idea he had long ago.

"What?! Relocate the Marine Headquarters to the New World?!"

Upon hearing Akainu's idea, the high-ranking naval officers present were all extremely surprised.

Even Sengoku, who had retired to the background and served as the Navy's Chief of Staff, had a glint in his eye.

That's right.

Akainu's suggestion was to relocate the Marine Headquarters to the New World.

This proposal clearly aligns with the "hawkish" faction represented by Akainu.

Ambitious and enterprising.

This time, however, even Onigumo and others, who also belong to the "hawkish" faction, are not very optimistic.

The main reason is that they suffered a crushing defeat in the Marineford War.

Not only did it allow the Whitebeard Pirates to leave safely, but it also caused the fall of Impel Down, their rear base.

The current situation is absolutely chaotic and overwhelming.

On the one hand, they had to rebuild Marineford, and on the other hand, they had to hunt down fugitives, leaving them with a severe shortage of manpower.

Now, with Aokiji's departure, their high-end combat power is greatly lacking.

This Pirate Expo was clearly a great opportunity to annihilate a large number of pirates, but they could only send Smoker to play a minor role.

Under such circumstances, the difficulty of relocating the Navy Headquarters to the New World is self-evident.

This is not a simple relocation.

Their move to the New World symbolized their war against the pirate emperor who was entrenched there.

Currently, although Whitebeard and Kaido have both perished, only Yang Hao and Shanks remain.

But that's precisely why they are not to be underestimated.

In light of this, the dove generals began to refute the claims.

Meanwhile, the hawks and others also tried to persuade him.

Akainu looked around at everyone, took a deep drag on his cigar, and said, "Of course, I know about the situation you're talking about."

In fact, Akainu knew perfectly well that now was not the right time to march into the New World.

Their navy, whether it's the lower-ranking soldiers or the high-end combat forces, is not enough!

However, since Akainu brought this up, he must have already thought of a solution.

"Therefore, in order to successfully advance into the New World, I have decided to recruit soldiers from all over the world!"

"This time, I will lower the requirements for recruitment. No merit is required. As long as you have a clean background and sufficient strength, you can serve as a naval officer, or even an admiral!"

As soon as Akainu finished speaking, everyone's expressions became quite interesting.

The hawks became restless.

It's not that they don't want to venture into the New World, they just don't want to be without any chance of success.

But now, Akainu's proposed global conscription seems to be able to improve this situation, so why not do it?

The doves, on the other hand, remained cautious and prudent, refuting Akainu's proposal.

After all, even if we can actually recruit general-level combatants... the question is, can we use them with peace of mind?

What if the other party is a pirate spy or a revolutionary army member?

However, with the departure and retreat of Aokiji, Sengoku, and others, the doves no longer have much say.
