He turned his back to Dr. Silas and walked into the chaotic corridor.

Behind him, Dr. Silas's despairing gaze and the deafening shouts and explosions filled the air.

The rioting mutants surged forth like a flood bursting its banks, overwhelming the hastily reacting guards.

Uchiha Ei mingled among them, his figure like a ghost.

He doesn't participate in combat; he simply moves efficiently.

Encountering an alloy gate that blocks the way?

[Analyzing the access control protocol...simulating guard access bands...] The door opened.

Encountering patrolling soldiers?

[Learn their tactical movement patterns... predict bullet trajectories... use airflow to deflect bullets...]

The figure flashed by.

You encounter a mutant guard who can unleash shockwaves?

[Analyzing the shock wave frequency... Constructing a reverse vibration wave... Disrupting its energy stability...]

The guards' attacks inexplicably failed, swallowed up by the surging tide of mutants.

He was like a sponge, frantically absorbing everything around him—ability usage, combat techniques, base structure, security loopholes.

He was using this riot as a final and most dangerous opportunity for practical learning.

Finally, he saw the emergency evacuation route leading to the outside world.

Several powerful mutants had blasted open the last gate, and the long-awaited night sky and fresh air rushed in.

Behind them came the hurried footsteps and roars of the base's elite pursuit team: "Stop them! Kill them without mercy!"

Along the way, he used all the abilities he had learned to the fullest: using a faint airflow to accelerate his run, using a water film to temporarily change his facial contours to avoid cameras, using precise electrical sparks to short-circuit the pursuers' communication equipment, and even using his rudimentary understanding of mental techniques to project simple, misleading hallucinations...

Finally, he temporarily shook off his pursuers and infiltrated the vast, chaotic, and infinitely possible city called New York.

The rain washed away the filth from his body, making him more alert.

Those deep eyes no longer held the indifference of the laboratory, but instead ignited a cold, controlling flame.

The military base is just a beginner's area.

This is his true stage.

His "super learning" ability is thirstily sensing the countless power rules flowing through the city.

"Tony Stark's technology... Steve Rogers' serum... Hulk's gamma radiation... Doctor Strange's magic... and those hidden dimensional energies..."

He muttered to himself, a slight smile playing on his lips.

Chapter 294, Uncle Wolf and Little Rascal

The cold rain soaked through his thin clothes. Uchiha Xiang leaned against the damp brick wall of the alley, breathing slightly heavily.

Behind him, a young girl wearing gloves, who looked panicked, was hiding.

Uchiha Eboshi's Rinnegan instinctively activated, analyzing: [Individual 1: Male. Abnormally dense skeletal structure containing ultra-high-strength metal. Extremely high cellular activity, possessing extremely strong self-healing factors. Fighting style: Wild, direct, efficient. Threat level: High.]

[Individual Two: Female. Life energy and even abilities can be absorbed upon skin contact (tentative). Energy manifestation is unstable; currently in a state of fear. Threat level: Low (currently).]

Clearly, they weren't the group that was after him, and they had just dealt with what could have been another group of troublemakers.

The man—Logan, or rather Wolverine—immediately detected the scent of another person in the alley with his keen sense of smell.

He whirled around, his fierce gaze locking onto Uchiha Elephant in the shadows. His claws snapped out again, blocking the girl—Mary (Little Rascal).

"Who's there? Come out!"

He growled, like a fierce beast protecting its cubs.

Uchiha Sho slowly emerged from the shadows, raindrops dripping from the ends of his dark hair.

He raised his hands to indicate that he was unarmed, his expression calm, even carrying a perfectly measured hint of weariness and wariness: "I mean no harm. It seems you're in trouble too."

His gaze swept over the unconscious agent on the ground, then turned to Logan and Mary: "I'm not one of them."

"An experimental subject who just escaped."

Uchiha Enoki chose to speak the truth in certain parts, which resonated most with the audience.

"They call me number 1347. I don't have a name."

He glanced at the gloves on Mary's hands. "It seems we're in somewhat similar situations?"

Mary instinctively withdrew her hand, nodded, and her eyes dimmed.

The sound of police sirens could be heard in the distance, indicating that the fighting had attracted attention.

"Tsk, troublesome."

Logan spat in annoyance and withdrew his claws. "This place is no longer safe. Kid, can you walk by yourself?"

Uchiha Ei nodded. His stamina had recovered somewhat, and the simulated "Gale" ability was enough for him to keep up with the running speed of an ordinary person.

"Follow us, no tricks!"

Logan warned, then grabbed Mary's wrist (through her clothes), "Let's go!"

The three quickly navigated through the complex alleyways, shaking off the police who had come after hearing the commotion.

"Professor X?"

Uchiha Sho timely expressed doubt and a hint of interest, "Is it... really safe there? Can he control... our abilities?"

His gaze seemingly casually swept over Mary's gloves and Logan's arm, which concealed sharp claws.

"I heard he's the most powerful psychic, and he can help us."

Mary's eyes were full of hope. "It's better than being caught by these people outside, right?"

She looked at Uchiha Sho, as if seeking approval.

Uchiha Sō's heart sank, but he remained outwardly calm.

Joining as a harmless, needy exile is the perfect cover.
