Silence, a deathly silence, spread across the pale land, now filled with the cheers of victory and the embers of death.

Aizen's power, like a tangible leaden cloud, enveloped them and the future of the entire world.

He no longer urged him, but simply hovered quietly above the skeletal throne, like a newly born god, awaiting the final choice of the lost lamb.

The Bōgyoku, which had been fused with the roots of the divine tree, emanated a deep and cold light on his chest, like a greedy eye peering into the three realms.

……

Soul Society, Seireitei, First Division Barracks.

The teacup in Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni's hand silently turned to dust, and the scalding tea flowed through his fingers, dripping onto the floor and instantly emitting white steam.

The enormous spiritual energy monitoring mirror in front of him had just captured a terrifying spiritual pressure fluctuation that surged instantly and was completely beyond comprehension from the direction of the Netherworld, when it completely lost all signal, leaving only a blinding speck of static, symbolizing the complete isolation of the spatial barrier.

In the Captain-Commander's eyes blazed a fury powerful enough to incinerate the entire Soul Society, and... a deep-seated apprehension that even he himself was unwilling to admit.

"Aizen...Sousuke...what exactly do you want?"

"Hopefully... everything... is still in time!"

Chapter 282, Itachi's Descent

Soul Society, Seireitei.

The barracks of the Gotei 13, which once symbolized order and majesty, are now shrouded in an apocalyptic atmosphere.

Above the Hill of Twin Killers, the colossal black cavity that tore through the sky, like a throat leading to hell, was continuously pouring out a suffocating torrent.

It is no longer the chaotic and disorderly Hueco Mundo of the past, filled with the roars of hunger.

The force that has now set foot on the land of Soul Society is an unprecedented and mind-blowing terrifying legion!

On the left is an army of undead from the Netherworld, clad in pale, bone-like armor and with eerie green flames burning in their eye sockets.

The skeleton warriors stood in a formidable array, their steps perfectly synchronized, the clash of their bone blades producing a cold, metallic scraping sound; the aggregates of vengeful spirits floated silently, emanating a chilling aura of wailing that could freeze souls; the skeletal behemoths trampled the streets of Seireitei, each step causing the earth to tremble.

They are permeated with a pure, cold law of death, carrying a silent will to end everything.

On the right is Aizen's Hollow Legion, but now their eyes no longer hold only madness and hunger.

Those Gillian, Adjuchas, and even many Arrancar had a light in their eyes that was a mixture of pain and confusion, yet also an unwavering determination—fragments of "humanity" awakened by the laws of the Underworld, which, under Aizen's "savior" ideology, transformed into a kind of fanaticism akin to that of a martyr!

Their screams were no longer chaotic, but coalesced into a unified, soul-stirring roar:

"For Lord Aizen! For the new world! For the salvation of Hueco Mundo!"

Two vastly different, yet equally cold and both governed by Aizen's will, armies of death, like the confluence of the River Styx and the Void, overwhelmed the outer defenses of Seireitei with their crushing power.

"What...what kind of monster is this?!"

An ordinary Grim Reaper looked at Adjuchas, who moved swiftly and even knew how to use cover to dodge the Ghost Path, with fear in his eyes.

As the void tore its companion apart, a hint of reluctance seemed to flash in its eyes, but it was quickly replaced by an even stronger fervor.

"Captain! We can't stop them! We can't stop them at all!"

The vice-captains reported at the top of their lungs, their voices filled with despair.

The Shinigami's prized Kido and Slash techniques appeared pale and powerless in the face of overwhelming numbers and the opponent's bizarre, orderly ferocity.

Even more terrifying is that the attacks of those undead necromancy directly erode the soul's origin. When a Grim Reaper is cut by a bone blade, the wound will quickly decay and the spirit body will disintegrate!

"Swastika! Daiguren Hyōrinmaru!"

Hitsugaya Toshiro roared, and his ice dragon soared into the air, attempting to freeze an area. However, his ice wings were instantly shattered by several eerie green shockwaves condensed from pure death laws, and the cold air was directly neutralized and melted by the icy death energy!

He himself was thrown back by the enormous impact, and blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.

"Baboon King Snake Tail Maru!"

Renji Abarai's Bankai Greatsword swept across, shattering a large number of skeletons, but he was immediately surrounded and attacked by several skeletal behemoths and a number of Arrancars who coordinated perfectly and whose eyes gleamed with the fighting skills they had used in life, putting him in grave danger.

Zaraki Kenyachiru charged into the enemy ranks with a wild laugh, unstoppable, but was soon submerged in an endless tide of pale and black light, with only the towering pillar of spiritual pressure being compressed continuously.

His wounds, tainted by the deathly aura of the Netherworld, were healing at an extremely slow pace.

Byakuya Kuchiki's "Kakei: Senbonzakura Kageyoshi" transforms into a storm of billions of sharp blades, shredding any approaching enemies. Wherever the petals pass, whether it be a skeleton or a Hollow, they are all reduced to dust.

However, his gaze was extremely solemn.

There were too many enemies, and they were too strong. Moreover, their cold, lifeless sense of order made even Senbonzakura feel sluggish.

He saw below that Rukia and Ichigo (who, though not persuaded by Aizen to stay, were swept into the Soul Society battlefield by the spatial turbulence) were struggling to hold on under Grimmjow's frenzied attacks, and Ishida Uryu's Quincy brilliance was also dimmed under the suppression of the laws of death.

Despair, like an ever-present dark cloud over the Seireitei, weighed heavily on the hearts of every Grim Reaper.

The glory of the Gotei 13 seems so fragile in the face of Aizen's irrational army of death.

Captain-Commander Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni stood atop the First Division barracks, watching the rapidly falling Seireitei. The veins on the back of his hand, gripping Ryujin Jakka, bulged, and the flame emblem flickered erratically beneath his wide sleeves.

His eyes burned with a furious rage that seemed to consume everything, but deep within them lay a sense of powerlessness that even he himself did not want to face.

With the strength of the Seireitei alone, defeat is inevitable!

"Aizen—Sousuke!!!"

Just as the entire Seireitei was about to be completely swallowed by the torrent of death, even Kenpachi Zaraki's maniacal laughter was drowned out, Byakuya Kuchiki's Senbonzakura storm was compressed to its limit, and all the captains were plunged into a desperate struggle or even serious injury—in the darkest of times—

Boom!!!

A beam of light, whose color was indescribable and which was purely composed of spiritual particles of immense power, crashed down from the heavens like a giant axe that split the sky and the earth!

The beam of light was aimed at Aizen Sousuke, who hovered like a demon god above Sōkyō Hill, looking down at his masterpiece!

Even before the beam of light arrived, the terrifying pressure had already frozen the entire space of Seireitei!

All the Shinigami, Hollows, and Necromancers engaged in battle momentarily froze in their movements.

Time seemed to stretch out, leaving only that destructive light piercing through heaven and earth!

"The Spirit King's Palace!!!"

A glimmer of hope for survival flashed in Captain-Commander Yamamoto's eyes as he roared, his voice echoing across the battlefield.

His pupils behind the blue-dyed lenses suddenly contracted! He felt it!

The will contained within that pillar of light was ancient, vast, and carried an unquestionable majesty like that of a "pillar of the world"!

Far surpassing anything he had ever faced before! The Hogyoku hummed wildly in front of his chest, its purple-gold light more intense than ever before, instinctively sensing both threat and...desire!

"A mirage!"

Aizen activated his ability without hesitation, and his figure instantly became illusory.

However, the beam of light seemed to lock onto reality, ignoring the illusion's deception, and with the will to purify everything and suppress all things, it slammed into the space where Aizen's true body was located!

"Ugh—!"

Aizen let out a muffled groan, and the purple-gold spiritual pressure shield formed by the power of the Hogyoku on his body was instantly covered with cracks!

The space beneath his feet shattered like glass!

The terrifying power of the Shadow level was shaken by this blow, slamming him hard from the sky to the ground!

boom!!!!

The Twin Peaks Hill, along with a large area below it, was completely reduced to nothingness in this earth-shattering impact!

A bottomless pit, with molten glass-like substance flowing along its edges, suddenly appeared!

Smoke and dust, along with turbulent spiritual energy currents, shot into the sky!

The light faded, and the smoke and dust subsided.

A massive, indescribable mecha, so enormous it blotted out the entire sky above Seireitei, slowly descended.

It is not a metal creation, but is composed of countless flowing spiritual runes that radiate divine light. Its form vaguely resembles a human figure, yet it is incredibly abstract, as if it were a personification of the "rules" themselves.

At its core is a huge crystal that emits a soft yet vast light. Within the crystal, a blurry figure, seemingly composed of pure light, appears and disappears—that is the vessel of the Spirit King's will!

"Spirit King... mecha..."

Kyoraku Shunsui lowered his straw hat, his voice dry and filled with disbelief and shock.

All the surviving Death Gods, looking at the colossal object that descended like a miracle, felt not only the ecstasy of surviving a catastrophe, but also a sense of awe and insignificance in the face of a supreme being!

Cheers erupted sporadically throughout Seireitei, like a long-suppressed volcano, before coalescing into a tsunami!

"Long live the Spirit King!"

"There's hope! The Seireitei is saved!"

The Spirit King mech remained silent; it simply raised an arm composed of countless runes, pointing towards the center of the pit.

At his fingertips, there was a destructive energy powerful enough to make even a Kage-level being tremble!

The target was the figure struggling to rebuild his power in the deep pit—Aizen Sousuke!

Aizen rose from the ruins of the deep pit, his magnificent white robe tattered, a trace of golden blood (Hogyoku energy) hanging from the corner of his mouth, and half of his glasses shattered, revealing his deep, abyss-like eyes.

He looked up at the sacred mech that blotted out the sky, but there was no fear on his face. Instead, he revealed a smile that was almost manic, a mixture of admiration and regret.

"Heh...hehehe...hahaha!"

Aizen's laughter sounded particularly jarring on the deathly silent battlefield.

"Incredible! Truly incredible! Spirit King Palace... is this your last trump card? A world rule shell forcibly driven by a will that has been imprisoned and manipulated? How pathetic, and yet how... powerful!"

He stroked the violently pounding, flickering light of the Hōgyoku on his chest, feeling the power within him churning from the previous attack, and even showing signs of a decline in his cultivation level.

His Kage-level power was not yet stable, and facing this home-field weapon that combined the original will of Soul Society and the remaining power of the Soul King, he was indeed... powerless.

"What a pity... what a pity."

Aizen's voice carried a chilling calmness, as if he were appraising a work of art that had nothing to do with him.

"If I had enough time to digest the Netherworld and stabilize my realm... unfortunately, you didn't give me that time. It seems that this game will eventually need to introduce... an even more powerful variable."

His gaze was no longer fixed on the Spirit King mech, but instead turned to the huge black cavity that still floated in the air, leading to the Netherworld!

"Captain Itachi,"

Aizen's voice wasn't loud, but it possessed a peculiar penetrating power, as if it traversed space and directly reached the other side of the Black Chamber.

"It seems my performance is over. Now, it's your turn. Show these frogs in a well what... true 'Shadow Transformation' power really is!"
