The three were placed in an empty room to wait, while Lucci and the other CP9 members went into Spandam's office.

After waiting for at least an hour, Spandam finally had them brought to his office.

With all the CP9 agents around him, Spandam became incredibly arrogant. He first mocked Franky mercilessly, and then started provoking Robin.

When he revealed that he possessed the Golden Den Den Mushi capable of triggering the Buster Call, Robin's astonishment reached its peak. At this time, the Buster Call was still a nightmare for Robin.

Why did Aokiji entrust you with the authority to issue the Buster Call?

Spandam's maniacal laughter abruptly ceased, his face instantly turning sinister, and he suddenly charged towards Robin.

Although Robert always felt that Robin at this stage was simply stubborn and pretentious, if it weren't for her self-righteousness, there wouldn't have been such a mess like the Enies Lobby battle.

But even if Robin needs to be taught a lesson, it's not Spandam's place to do it. There are plenty of ambitious and righteous men among the One Piece readers.

Even with sea stone handcuffs, Robert still had 16 points of strength. He stepped in front of Robin and delivered a left front kick.

Spandam's speed was as fast as the speed at which he rushed in, and the speed at which he flew out.

After kicking Robb, he smiled and cupped his hands in a gesture of respect to the CP9 members around him: "My condition for agreeing to turn myself in is that you can't lay a hand on Robin. He's a man of his word. You guys wouldn't be so rude, would you?"

Although the CP9 agents were all unscrupulous and only cared about completing their missions, they already had a lot of grievances against Spandam. Seeing that Robert was acting in self-defense, they kept their eyes down and remained seated.

Spandam angrily scrambled to his feet: "What are you all standing there for! Kill him!"

Robert glared at the impotently furious Spandam: "Do you think it's faster for them to kill me, or for me to take you down?"

Spandam swallowed hard. Although he felt that with CP9 agents all around him, Robert would never be able to kill him, but what if he was?

He wasn't even willing to risk getting hurt, and could only glare at Robin hatefully, saying, "I heard a group of people came to the island to rescue you, you good-for-nothing. I'll capture them all and lock them up in Impel Down!"

Robin's first reaction wasn't shock, but rather an instinctive glance at Robert, who was standing in front of her.

Robert turned his head and said, "I told you, it's incredibly stupid to pin your hopes on the enemy keeping their word."

Robin's voice trembled as she said, "You promised me that if I listened to you, you would let Luffy and the others leave safely..."

Spandam laughed wildly: "Lucci! Reiterate our promise!"

Lucci said expressionlessly, "We will ensure that Luffy and his crew leave Water 7 safely."

Spandam laughed wildly, "Have they not left Water Seven safely by now?!"

He had intended to continue humiliating Robin and Franky, but seeing Robert's glances at his neck, he simply snorted and said:

"Take them away, and once we capture Straw Hat Luffy and his crew, we'll lock them all up in Impel Down!"

CP9 members were about to distribute Devil Fruits, so naturally they wouldn't do it in front of the three prisoners.

Robert wasn't interested in the two Devil Fruits either; one turned him into a giraffe, and the other made him slippery by secreting bubbles.

Since I'm not going to open a zoo or a bathhouse in the future, I won't bother trying to snatch those two useless fruits.

Tied to a pillar in the corridor, Robert, with a fierce expression, yelled at the navy guarding them: "Hey, stay away from us. Even with handcuffs on, you little punks can't handle me. We're all going to die anyway, so be careful I don't kill you both in a fit of rage!"

The two marines were so frightened that they retreated. Robert chuckled and said to Robin, "Now that Luffy and the others have arrived, and Spandam has been proven to have been lying to you all along, how about it? Do you regret it?"

Robin had completely broken down and sat on the ground without saying a word.

Robert said, "Hey Robin, give me a straight answer. You know, the hardest part about getting you out of here is never how strong the enemy is, but whether you want to live or not."

Robin's tears flowed uncontrollably: "You said there was a way to escape, right? Please, escape. Tell Luffy and the others not to save me. Staying with me will only lead to trouble sooner or later. If not this time, then there will be a next time."

Robert sighed: "I'm genuinely a little angry. Do you think Luffy and the others would abandon their crew just because of danger? Stop being so self-righteous. You're not the only one who's great."

Robin completely broke down and cried, "What can I do? We can't win! You don't know what the Buster Call is! We can't win!"

Robert looked at him strangely: "Buster Call? Ten warships taking turns firing to create a barrage? Don't be ridiculous, Robin. When you were a child, that hellish scene was indeed terrifying, but think about your strength now? You're actually afraid of cannonballs? Enel is far more terrifying than ten warships, so why weren't you afraid when facing him?"

Robert suddenly shrank his neck, a sudden, inexplicable palpitation rising in his heart. It was as if, because of the Seastone, he had lost the ability of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit to sense the surrounding electrons, and his sixth sense had been activated instead.

"Robin, I feel that every second I stay here is a second more dangerous. Since you have no other choice, why don't you listen to my idea?"

Robin looked at him with tears in her eyes. Robert said, "I won't force you. Only Luffy and the others can persuade you. But once you're sure of their determination, I'll unlock your sea stone handcuffs immediately. I hope you can bravely save yourself then."

Franky exclaimed in surprise, "You can open the handcuffs!"

Robert looked exasperated: "Should I get you a megaphone? Do you want the whole of Enies Lobby to know I can pick locks?"

"Oh, so this is your plan?"

Robert reacted immediately, without bothering to figure out who had overheard his conversation. Since he had already been exposed, he simply decided to take action.

He immediately stored the sea stone handcuffs into his spatial storage. The ordinary chains on the pillar could no longer control his elemental body, and Robert moved away from his original spot with a sideways movement.

The next second, a tall figure appeared where he had been standing, wearing a white naval uniform and with black hair that was slightly curly.

Robert's heart nearly stopped: "Are you kidding me? You can get Aokiji in a beginner map?!"

Chapter 30 So you call yourself the King of Enjoyment?

Robert finally realized where his premonition came from: Aokiji was not the kind of opponent he should be facing at this stage.

Moreover, according to the original plot, he should have waited until Enies Lobby was completely destroyed before arriving, and conveniently pinned all the crimes of everyone in Water 7 on Luffy, thus protecting the safety of the others.

Aokiji withdrew his fist, which had been aimed at empty air: "You seem quite surprised by my presence here, Robert."

Robert dared to come to Enies Lobby for two reasons: first, because he had eaten the Rumble-Rumble Fruit and was not afraid of anyone in CP9; and second, because he believed in Luffy and his crew's great luck and that as long as he stayed with them, they would definitely be able to escape.

But now Aokiji's appearance has messed everything up. Not to mention that even ten of us combined couldn't defeat Aokiji at this stage, even with Luffy and his crew's protagonist aura, they might not be able to gain any advantage in the face of absolute power!

Aokiji scratched his head and said, "To be honest, I should be the one who's surprised. We just wanted to use you to lure Ace here to try and capture him, but we didn't expect you to walk right into our trap. Well, that makes things easier."

Robert took a deep breath, knowing that this time it would probably end badly. He couldn't even muster the thought of fighting back against Aokiji.

The only thought in my mind right now is how to keep Aokiji calm and create an opportunity for me to escape.

"I am not a pirate, I have been framed."

Aokiji nodded: "I know. Headquarters has already sent people to investigate you. You were a stateless person from the East Blue. You were captured by a slave ship and brought to the Grand Line. After killing the tavern owner who bought you, Blackbeard's crew burned down the tavern and then kidnapped you to the Sky Island."

Robert was somewhat impressed by the Navy. In just a few days, they had basically investigated all of his backgrounds and even explained his origins: the lowest of the low among the lowly—the unregistered—which exists in almost every country in the world.

"It is suspected that you formed a grudge with Blackbeard on Skypiea. After Blackbeard returned to the ground, he quickly gathered his accomplices and slaughtered the member countries of the World Government, just to frame you as their accomplice. According to analysis, you should have stolen and eaten the Rumble-Rumble Fruit that Blackbeard planned to take."

Although Aokiji seemed to be seriously recalling the information in his mind, Robert dared not make the slightest move.

Subconsciously, he told himself that even if Aokiji was distracted and talking, he still had the ability to kill him the moment he took action, even if he could teleport in his elemental form.

"Now that it has been determined that I was framed, why is there still a warrant for my arrest?"

Aokiji's voice was cold: "I did feel guilty towards you before, and I also disapproved of what that bastard Sakazuki did. But things are different now, Robert. You used your Devil Fruit power to escape during your escort, openly attacked the Marine G2 branch, and maintained close contact with Ace, the second division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. You are now a pirate!"

Robert chuckled: "Yes, I'm a pure pirate now, but wasn't that all because of you Marines? Even after escaping Blackbeard's clutches, my first thought was to ask the Marines for help!"

Aokiji sighed: "Although I am sorry, the dignity of the Navy cannot be desecrated."

"This world is ruled by wolves, yet your navy spends all your time planning to catch chickens at karaoke bars!"

Aokiji seemed to be pondering the meaning of those words, and Robert seized the opportunity to escape.

But to his horror, he discovered that the entire hall had been sealed off by ice, and his elemental teleportation was limited to moving within the hall's spatial range!

For a moment, Robert was distracted, and a hand covered in Armament Haki grabbed his shoulder. Aokiji shook his head and said, "You are an important bargaining chip for us to capture Ace. We can't let you get away."

The next instant, a chilling aura emanated from Aokiji, freezing Robert into an ice sculpture!

Aokiji yawned and beckoned a few navy soldiers over: "Keep an eye on things, I'm going back to sleep."

Spandam suddenly appeared out of nowhere, arrogantly kicking Robert, who was frozen into an ice sculpture, a few times before walking up to Robin and Franky and starting to mock them.

Then everything started to unfold according to the plot again. Franky led Robin through the wall, and the Straw Hat crew gathered on the roof of the courthouse. Robin cried out with tears in her eyes, "I want to live."

The only difference was that there was an ice sculpture in the hall behind them.

Unlike Luffy on Long Chain Island, who lost consciousness after being frozen, Robert's body remained in elemental form when facing Aokiji. Although he couldn't escape the restraint of Armament Haki immediately, the subsequent Ice-Ice Fruit attack only trapped him in an ice shell.

Aokiji's combat strength is beyond doubt. Robert speculates that his Devil Fruit awakening level must be at least level three, and it's possible that it's already level four or even level five.

Although he wasn't instantly killed, the thick ice shell was something he couldn't break free of with his meager 20 points of strength.

Time ticked by, and Robert was increasingly anxious.

No matter how much he activated the electric current, he couldn't affect the frost that Aokiji had condensed. This ice shell was not only pure and flawless and non-conductive, but it even suppressed his field of energy. Now, Robert couldn't sense any information from the outside world at all.

Even though there were items like Flame Shells in the space, the ice layer was completely adhered to his body, making it impossible to take the items out of the space.

Suddenly, Robert sensed his bet with Robin, the metal coin he had used to show off, now lying quietly in his pocket!

Robert used an extremely low voltage to drive the maximum current, instantly heating the coin until it glowed red-hot and melted a hole through the hard ice.

As soon as there was even the slightest opening, Robert instantly transformed into lightning and burst out of the ice shell.

Before the two soldiers guarding Robert could even shout, Robert casually killed them.

On the outer terrace of the Tower of Justice, all the members of CP9 were facing off against Luffy and his crew across the chasm. Spandam was jumping around like a clown, while Robin was shouting at the top of her lungs, "I want to live! Take me to the sea too!"

Franky pulled a stack of blueprints from a hidden compartment in his body, gave a passionate speech, and then burned them to ashes.

Spandam was screaming in anguish when he was suddenly kicked away and fell straight into the abyss. The command Den Den Mushi that he had been clutching in his hand was suddenly grabbed by someone else.

The owl in CP9 quickly leaped down and used Moonwalk to catch the falling officer.

Robin turned around, his eyes flashing with surprise: "Robert! You're alive!"

Luffy and his crew on the other side were also excitedly shouting Robert's name.

But Robert had no time for pleasantries and shoved Robin into Franky's arms:

"Franky, can you take Robin to the other side?"

Franky looked astonished: "And what about you?"

Lu Qi's voice came from behind: "Hey kid, you don't seem to take us seriously at all!"

Robert: Have you finished cleaning the toilets of the Four Emperors before you start interrupting?

Chapter 31 This is such a great opportunity to level up, it only happens once in a lifetime!

Completely ignoring Lucci, Robert shouted into the Den Den Mushi in his hand that could connect to all the sound-emitting devices on Enies Lobby:

"Ace! It's me, Robert! I wasn't captured by the Navy! They sent Admiral Aokiji to ambush me on the island! I'm escaping! You should run too!"

The large Den Den Mushi on the rooftops of several buildings instantly transmitted Robert's voice throughout the entire island, silencing everyone.
