Seeing five figures brazenly walking across the middle of the road, First Mate Satchis, who had nowhere to vent his anger, shouted at them:

"Are you blind?! Get the hell out of my way!"

Blackbeard's mood at this moment was completely different from the original storyline; he showed no signs of frustration at missing Luffy's crew.

His laughter did not stop for a moment, but a black vortex was already gathering in his palm.

Under the cover of night, shadows silently crept up to the feet of all the Bellamy Pirates crew members:

"Robert, you have shown me your schemes and tactics, but I, the captain, have not yet shown you my abilities. Enjoy this, the most powerful force on this sea!"

Darkness erupted instantly, and all the pirates present, except for the five members of the Blackbeard Pirates and their horse, were pulled underground amidst screams.

Robert had seen Blackbeard fight more than once in the comics, but none of them were as shocking as witnessing it firsthand.

But he couldn't appear ignorant, so he quickly burst into laughter to hide his shock.

Only after all five people had boarded the enormous raft and sailed away did the dark shadow erupt like a singularity, expelling all those it had just sucked in.

However, these guys who were supposed to join the Supernova Pirates two years later with the transformed Bellamy were no longer breathing.

The Wild Cherry Tavern was already engulfed in flames. Two figures tiptoed into the tavern through a small door in the kitchen, picked up the Indian man lying on the ground, and left.

The carriage outside was already loaded with all sorts of belongings, as well as a large bucket of concentrated salt water. The two men put Ah San on the carriage and began to pour the salt water into his mouth.

As Ah San drank, he vomited repeatedly, and hurriedly gestured for the two men to stop: "Stop! Stop! You two idiots! The master said the poison wasn't that strong this time! None of the dishes I ate were highly poisonous!"

The two men were none other than the shop assistants who had disappeared earlier. One was driving the carriage, while the other sat helplessly next to Ah San, asking, "Brother Ah San, now that the shop is gone, where are we going?"

Ah San said excitedly, "I'm not called Ah San. Ah San is a name that bastard boss used to give me, like a number for livestock. The master gave me a new name!"

The two shop assistants asked curiously, "So what should we call you from now on?"

Ah San said, "The magistrate said that his surname is not actually Luo Ba. In his hometown, the first character of a name is the surname, so I will take the surname Luo from now on! You will also take the surname Luo!"

Both of them were orphans, with no ties in this town. From childhood to adulthood, people had always called them by their nicknames. Now, influenced by Ah San's emotions, they began to yearn for having a proper name of their own.

Ah San pointed at the man driving the carriage and said, "You're older, so let's call you Da Luo."

He then said to the person beside him, "From now on, you'll be called Xiao Luo. As for me! The master said I'm born to do business, and I'll be involved in all sorts of highly profitable ventures, so from now on, I'll be called—"

"Raleigh!"

"Rayle D. Dida!"

"As for our destination, we're going to a truly bustling place next!"

Chapter 1 Soaring Ambitions

Don't be fooled by the fact that the Blackbeard Pirates' ship is made of four huge logs tied together; it is actually enormous.

Robert regretted not being more agile, which made it difficult for him to even maintain his balance.

Seeing Robert's predicament, Blackbeard laughed loudly and said, "Robert, you'd better hurry up and become stronger. You can't keep up with us just by using tricks!"

Robert gripped the rope tightly to steady himself: "Don't worry, Captain. I just didn't have the chance before. Now that I've joined the team, I won't hold everyone back."

Robert appeared nonchalant, but he was actually extremely anxious inside.

His plan was truly fraught with obstacles; getting stuck at any step would have led to the complete failure of all his previous efforts.

He tried countless times to confirm with everyone how to follow the Straw Hat crew to Skypiea, but was interrupted by others. These people, whether they were highly skilled and daring or just plain daring, still maintained an attitude of "things will work themselves out."

To catch up with the main characters, you can't just follow behind them. In the original story, Blackbeard's crew only thought about following behind Luffy and his crew after receiving the news. They were always one step behind, which led to them ultimately missing out on them.

So Robert's plan was to wait and see!

He knew for certain that around 10 a.m. today, the surging ocean current would form beneath the so-called Emperor Cloud, so all they needed to do was head towards that massive dark cloud.

The sea was clear in the early morning. Robert even doubted that he remembered correctly. The visibility on the sea was extremely high. After being overcast for several days, the sea in Gaya had cleared up today.

Fortunately, Van Auger gave positive feedback: "There are extremely thick clouds in the southwest, which should be the Dijons that Robert mentioned."

Blackbeard burst into laughter: "Tsk, hahaha! Change course! Heading southwest!"

Bages vigorously rowed the boat a few times with the huge oar in his hand, and the boat began to turn.

At this point, Doc Q no longer seemed terminally ill. He rowed the raft on the other side of the boat, and the raft sped off towards the southwest.

"I see the Straw Hat crew. There are two other ships next to them, with monkeys and gorillas on board. They are about five nautical miles to our right and rear."

Van Augur has exceptional eyesight and has previously demonstrated his ability to snipe seabirds from distances far beyond his field of vision. Five nautical miles is just a tiny black dot to most people, but Van Augur seems to be able to see every detail of everyone on the ship.

Blackbeard took a swig of rum: "Slow down a bit. We can't reach the Sky Island on our own. Let's wait for the guide."

Robert took out a pocket watch and glanced at it. It was a quarter to ten o'clock, and the appearance of the surging ocean current was very close.

Luffy and his crew moved quickly, entering the cloud-covered area one after the other, just as Blackbeard's ship entered the area.

The two groups of ships were about a nautical mile apart, and everyone was struggling to maneuver their boats against the huge waves. Although they could see each other, they did not communicate.

The turbulent currents began to calm down. Robert forced himself not to vomit and tightened the rope around himself and the iron bucket to prevent himself from being thrown away by the huge waves.

But Robert soon realized why the current had calmed down; a huge whirlpool was forming before their very eyes.

The two large ships that accompanied Luffy and his crew had stopped, while only the Going Merry continued its journey into the whirlpool.

Blackbeard finally stood up: "Accelerate! Follow the vortex's rotation toward its center. That so-called surging current will definitely erupt at the very center; I can already feel it!"

Burgess and Doc Q rowed furiously, and the raft entered the whirlpool before the Merry, moving in circles towards the center of the whirlpool with the current.

Van Augur pressed down on his hat and turned to Robert, saying, "Hey, you can get into the barrel now, it's time."

Robert was taken aback, and Blackbeard laughed and said, "Kid, it's just the two of us going to the sky island this time. You climb into the barrel and close the lid, and leave the rest to me, the captain!"

Robert was so shaken that he almost lost his ability to think. Only after experiencing this near-catastrophic natural disaster firsthand did he realize how ridiculous his initial plan had been.

With his abilities, he probably wouldn't have been able to get here on his own.

He obediently crawled into the iron barrel. As long as Blackbeard was still thinking about translating the Poneglyphs to find the giant warship Pluton, he would definitely take him to the Sky Island even if no one else was with him.

After securing the lid from the inside with threads and latches, Robert was truly left to his fate.

After another ten minutes or so of bumpy travel, everything suddenly calmed down.

Robert was even more nervous, because he knew that the disappearance of the whirlpool meant that a huge, towering current was about to arrive!

Blackbeard's voice rang out: "Tsk, hahaha! Straw Hat Boy! We meet again. Are you guys also heading to Skypiea?"

Robert, hiding in the barrel, couldn't hear what was being said on the other side; he could only hear Blackbeard's voice:

"As expected, you guys noticed too? It seems like it's difficult to get on my boat. Could you give me a ride?"

It seemed like the other side had given a clear rejection, and Blackbeard's tone changed:

"Straw Hat Kids, that's not up to you! Burgess! Attack!"

Then Burgess let out a strange laugh, and the iron barrel began to shake violently.

Robert felt himself being tossed and turned in the air by the metal barrel, the unpredictable trajectory of which was threatening to destroy his balance.

The wild, unrestrained laughter of the Blackbeard Pirates filled the air, but then it faded into the distance, the roar of the massive waves drowning out everything.

Blackbeard never put the iron barrel into his Shadow Dimension. Robert probably thought it was because the pressure inside was too great, and even the iron barrel he had reinforced was difficult to withstand. Blackbeard was afraid of being killed, so he didn't do what he said he would do.

Robert huddled inside the metal barrel, helpless like an 80-kilogram child, left to his own devices.

The shaking grew stronger and stronger, as if it was constantly hitting some hard object.

Robert could no longer suppress the churning stomach acid. Fortunately, he hadn't eaten for almost a day, so he only vomited a mouthful of sour water, which was quickly suppressed.

However, even just holding his body up in this bumpy iron barrel requires a huge amount of physical strength, and even though he has increased his endurance to three times that of an average person, he still feels extremely strained.

Suddenly, a powerful horizontal impact came, and Robert, caught off guard, slammed the back of his head hard against the barrel wall.

As his consciousness began to fade, Robert had a fleeting thought:

"Have I forgotten something...? What is it...?"

"Oh right, didn't I make a helmet...?"

Chapter 2 I think you've really gotten cocky.

"What's in this bucket? I bet it's meat."

"How could that be! Do you think everyone is like you, throwing a bucket of meat at me like a lasso!"

"What could that be, Sanji? I'm so hungry, can we have grilled meat for lunch?"

Robert was awakened by the shaking and noise. Inside the dark metal barrel, he felt dizzy and disoriented.

It felt like my head was an egg, and someone was shaking it vigorously for a long time. From the outside, the egg looked intact, but the yolk and egg white inside had been thoroughly shaken together.

These noisy people outside, both men and women, seemed quite unreliable. Every now and then, they would bang on the lid of the bucket, making a loud thumping sound.

"Whatever it is, let me cut it open and see."

Robert's mind instantly cleared at those words. Split open? What do you mean, split open? This is an iron bucket, what are you going to split open with it?

Holy crap!

"Don't chop! There are people inside!"

While shouting, Robert frantically fiddled with the latch on the bucket lid.

They quickly opened the bucket lid, and several faces eagerly peered into the bucket.

Even though Robert had just completely lost consciousness, he now understood his situation.

A South American young man wearing a straw hat who seemed to have some intellectual disabilities, a Black young man whose nose looked like it had bone growing inside, and a deer with a blue nose.

When those three faces blocked out the blue sky outside the bucket, Robert knew he had succeeded!

"Uh, can I come out first? I'm about to throw up."

The two people and the deer quickly dodged away. Robert struggled to stand up from the tub, feeling pain all over his body.

Only then did he realize his situation: the iron barrel he was in was entangled in layers of rope, which was now wrapped around the triangular mast at the stern of the Merry.
