Thinking about it this way, it becomes quite natural that Daisy was able to join the special team, not entirely because of her powerful background.

Thoughts raced for only a moment, and after Holm boarded the fighter jet, the Quinjet's hatch gradually closed.

Seeing Daisy already seated in the driver's seat and starting to adjust the program, Holm sat down next to her and began to explain the mission.

"The mission location is an area outside Acapulco, Mexico. I've already sent you the exact coordinates..."

"Our mission this time is to dismantle a terrorist organization. They'll be trading drugs for weapons with arms dealers here..."

"The estimated number of personnel is around thirty to forty...firepower includes light weapons and a small amount of heavy weaponry..."

"The objective of this mission is to eliminate these terrorist members and arms dealers quickly and discreetly... There are no clues or information we need to look for..."

As Holm explained today's mission, Daisy entered the coordinates into the program while asking doubtfully, "Are you sure this is a mission that the two of us need to complete?"

"That's thirty to forty men, and they also have a small number of heavy firepower. I'm having a hard time even fighting three or four dummies right now..."

"That's it! We can use airplanes, right? We can just blow them all up!" Daisy suddenly thought of a great idea.

But as soon as she finished speaking, Holm shook his head and said, "We can't use planes to bomb. You forgot what the mission requirements mentioned earlier: it had to be as quick and quiet as possible."

“Then what should we do…” Daisy frowned upon hearing this.

"Don't worry, don't forget I have special abilities. You'll support me on the plane in a bit, and I'll go down and take care of them." Before Daisy could finish speaking, Holm pointed to himself and said.

“Even if you have special abilities, this mission is too outrageous. And you can’t take on the whole mission yourself. Even if I’m not very good at fighting, I can still help a little.” Daisy still felt that the mission was unreasonable and disagreed with Holm going down to deal with the enemy by himself.

Seeing her expression, Holm elaborated further, saying, "You can think about it carefully. Don't you think this mission is a bit too straightforward compared to the past?"

"There are no intelligence requests, nor anything we need to retrieve. We just need to eliminate all those people quickly and discreetly."

“Now that you mention it, it does seem a bit strange.” Hearing Holm’s words, Daisy also realized the crux of the matter.

"Speaking of which, this mission seems to only require killing people, and the faster and less noisier the killing, the better."

As Daisy looked at Holm, her mind was already filled with images of his special abilities and the ruthless methods he used to defeat his enemies.

Seeing her eyes gradually brighten, Holm continued with a smile, "You guessed it, didn't you? Actually, this mission was mainly to test me. They wanted to see just how powerful I really am now."

Although Holm used his abilities to complete several missions during the month between the end of the Dr. Lizard incident and joining the special team.

However, those missions were more like showing off skills, posing no difficulty or pressure for Holm.

He could have solved the problem without using his abilities; using them simply accelerated the process and allowed him to demonstrate his unique value to his superiors.

Now that his superiors have recognized his special value, they're starting to test his mettle and see just how sharp his blade really is.

Chapter 67, Strike!

After understanding the true purpose of the mission, Daisy no longer insisted on going down to fight.

However, she was still a little worried about whether Holm could handle so many enemies and weapons by himself, so she told Holm that if things became unmanageable, they should quickly leave the battlefield and let her use the weapons on the plane to clear the area.

Although this caused a bit of a stir and didn't fully meet the requirements of the mission, at least Holm's safety was guaranteed.

Holm had no objection to Daisy's suggestion of a worst-case scenario. If a truly difficult situation were to occur, he certainly wouldn't try to be brave, since the mission was SHIELD's, but his life was his own.

Having Daisy as a teammate who cares about his life is indeed a good thing. In Holm's memory, he has never had a teammate like her in his career as a secret agent.

In the past, he either worked alone or engaged in backstabbing and intrigue, and he was even more wary of some of the Hydra members.

Sure enough, the little white rabbit has its advantages; at least for her teammates, she is a solid support and a reliable backer.

The Quinjet was very fast, and it took them no more than half an hour to reach their target location.

"Activate stealth mode and proceed with a covert descent," Dai tide muttered to herself as she operated the program, activating the corresponding function.

Under her control, the Quinjet, which was originally as black as iron, gradually brightened up and turned the same color as the sky.

As the fighter jet continued to descend, the buildings below appeared to grow larger and larger, eventually stopping at a certain altitude close to the ground.

Not far from the fighter jets was a cluster of buildings, low houses one after another, which looked not only dilapidated but also deserted. It was unknown what kind of changes had taken place here.

Among this cluster of low-rise houses, there are also a few dilapidated factory buildings that look slightly wider than the surrounding buildings.

Under the thermal imaging scan of the Quinjet, it can be vaguely seen that there are many people busy with something in this dilapidated factory, and there are also some people patrolling back and forth around the factory.

“It looks like there are more than forty people,” Daisy said, looking at the thermal imaging scan pattern on the Quinjet’s screen.

Although she counted on the screen with her fingers, the thermal imaging was not clear, and some people overlapped or merged into one another, so the overall number of people looked very large.

"There are 37 people in total. There are 17 patrolling outside the factory and 20 inside. According to the faction division, there should be 10 on each side." With Venom's reminder and the effect of his perception ability, Holm had already figured out the complete personnel distribution in his mind.

"You stay on the plane and support me. I'll go down and take care of them now," Holm instructed Daisy again, then turned and walked towards the cabin door.

Daisy nodded in response, typing rapidly on the virtual keyboard in front of her, and said, "I used the Quinjet's signal to overwhelm their walkie-talkies. As soon as you start your operation, I'll cut off their internal and external communications."

"And the aircraft's weapon systems are already activated and targeting them, so don't forget our plan."

“I understand. If it doesn’t work, I’ll let you know. You can just blow them all up.” Holm said, waving his hand as he jumped out of the open hatch.

The howling wind swept past his ears, and the ground seemed to be getting closer and closer to him. Countless black, viscous liquids seeped from his body, completely enveloping him into a large black sphere.

"boom!"

Under Holm's deliberate control, the large black sphere of venom scattered instantly upon contact with the ground to dissipate the force, ensuring that the noise was as slight as possible so as not to alert the people inside the factory.

"This is really troublesome. If you ask me, you might as well just jump down without any protection. That way, the noise won't be too loud."

"After all, with me here, you definitely won't die. Even if your bones are shattered to pieces, I can restore you." Venom said as it returned to Holm's body.

Holm was speechless at Venom's unreliable suggestion. Although, as Venom said, he wouldn't die even if he jumped down in his physical body, and Venom could help him recover, it would still hurt. Why would he make himself uncomfortable? He didn't have any special fetishes.

"Quickly put away your dangerous ideas born from symbiotic thinking. If you come up with such a bad idea again, I'll take away your chocolate. Remember, I'm human. You may not feel pain, but I do." Holm said as he swiftly and stealthily approached the factory.

Under the unfailing effect of his chocolate threat, Venom could only shut his mouth and mutter under his breath, as if to say something like how fragile humans are.

Holm ignored Venom's mutterings. He was now hidden near the factory's perimeter, observing the patrol patterns of the henchmen.

Although these henchmen were well-equipped and seemed to have received some training, they were still no match for regular armed personnel. Even while on patrol, they were still whispering to each other, talking and bragging. Occasionally, when the two groups of people on patrol met, they would exchange a few words.

Just like the situation inside the factory where they were divided into two factions, the patrols outside the factory were also divided into two teams based on their factions.

They consisted of nine people in one group and eight people in another, starting from opposite ends of the factory. They would meet approximately every minute and a half, so Holm had to deal with both groups in turn within that minute and a half.

"Don't mess up when things start to get serious. Try to kill them before they can even react or scream. If you do well, I'll give you two extra chocolates tonight." Holm communicated with Venom in his mind, while a viscous black liquid surged from his hands, transforming into two broad, sharp blades.

"Hehehe, don't worry, I guarantee they won't be able to make a sound." Venom chuckled as he assured them.

As it spoke, several tentacles extended from Holm's back, ready to fight.

It wouldn't be careless when it came to chocolate. Since it couldn't bite off these people's heads because of the S.H.I.E.L.D. mission, it couldn't miss out on a chocolate treat.

"Here we go!" Holm said as he dashed out like a black lightning bolt.

The two patrol teams outside the factory had just finished exchanging greetings, and some of them were still thinking about what even harsher things they would say next time they met, completely unaware that danger was already close at hand.

Chapter 68, 1 minute and 57 seconds

"Those arms dealers are really annoying! They're a bunch of sons of bitches! They can say such nasty things!" A henchman holding a submachine gun adjusted his hat and said to his companion.

Upon hearing this, his companion raised his gun and said, "I want to shove the gun into his mouth and blow his head to bits."

"This isn't Africa, they don't get to call the shots here. Mexico is our territory!"

"If they dare to be so rude again when I run into them later, I'll teach them a lesson..."

As the two of them were talking, he suddenly heard some faint sounds behind him.

But before he could turn around to see what had happened, his companion next to him had already been decapitated, his severed neck gushing bright red blood, staining his clothes and wetting his face.

"Pfft!" Just as he opened his mouth to scream, a sharp tentacle pierced through his neck, interrupting his about-to-let-out howl.

Tentacles and blood blocked his trachea and filled his throat, leaving him only able to make some hohoho sounds and spit out some blood and flesh.

"Crack!" With a dull, crisp sound, his head was forcibly twisted 180 degrees by the tentacle that pierced through his neck, and the bones in his neck were twisted into fragments.

As the tentacles retracted, a corpse collapsed limply to the ground, landing squarely on top of the headless body.

In just 30 seconds, an eight-man patrol team patrolling outside the factory was wiped out without a sound.

Holm glanced at the corpses scattered on the ground, flicked the blood off the broad blade of his knife, and continued to move silently in the opposite direction from the factory.

He planned to circle around to the rear of the remaining nine-man team and then, just like before, swiftly and efficiently eliminate them.

When Holm circled around to the back of the nine-man team, they were also whispering among themselves.

However, compared to the drug dealers' henchmen, these arms dealers seemed a bit more professional. Although they were talking, their attention was not distracted at all, and they were constantly observing the surrounding movements.

Holm dashed out like an arrow once again, while mentally reminding Venom, "Just like before, don't let them make a sound."

"Don't worry, absolutely no problem!" Venom chuckled in response, each of its tentacles already aimed at the necks of these people, ensuring they wouldn't make a single sound.

As Holm swung his hands, aiming to chop at the heads of the last few people in the line, the whistling wind alerted them to something amiss.

But when they tried to turn around to see what was going on, it was too late. With a flash of black light, their vision began to spin.

These arms dealers were clearly much more alert than the drug dealers from before. As the heads of the men behind them rolled, the men in front turned around and saw Holm charging toward them.

But before they could raise their guns and pull the trigger, Venom had already used its sharp black tentacles to sever their arms and tightly clamp their necks and mouths, rendering them unable to make a sound.

"Thud! Crack!" The sound of a blade slicing through a neck and the sound of bones breaking rang out simultaneously.

In the blink of an eye, the remaining people either had their heads smashed or their necks shattered, losing their breath and becoming corpses.

In less than a minute, all the patrol personnel on the perimeter had been killed by Holm.

Now all that's left are the two parties inside who are currently making the transaction.

The Mexicans inside are inspecting the guns and ammunition that arms dealers have delivered to them.

Meanwhile, the arms dealers were counting money with a banknote counter while their underlings were testing the purity of the drugs.

It seems that Mexicans pay for arms in a rather unique way, using a combination of cash and drugs.

They were all busy with their own tasks, yet wary of each other, glancing up every now and then. Clearly, they were all seasoned veterans, constantly on guard against each other's subtle moves.

Amid the cacophony of the money counting machine running and the henchmen talking amongst themselves, neither side noticed the small cylinders rolling in from outside, nor the subtle noises they made as they rolled.

They only realized something was wrong when the small cylinders started releasing thick smoke.

"Damn it! What's going on?! Are you trying to double-cross us?!"
