There's not much to say about the second part of Duel City, because in fact, the entire second part only consists of two duels, and the initial group battle can only be considered a warm-up.

Regarding the design of the duels, I personally feel that the "Malik vs. Yugi" battle is better than the "Yugi vs. Yugi" battle, but both battles feel somewhat drawn out due to the updates.

Let's put the update aside for now and talk about the rules and card effects first.

In fact, the rules of the original anime were officially established from the KC Grand Prix arc, the Daz arc was a transition, and as for Duel City... it is still full of some nonsense.

My original plan was to abandon the rambling and slightly blur the concepts of timing and chaining. However, as I wrote, I found that there was a lot of demand from everyone, so I started to standardize the timing and chaining rules in the second part of Duel City.

Even though these issues were addressed seriously, some problems still emerged. The most typical example was the Oogi ritual. But fanfiction is generally prohibited from DIY, which means that sometimes the fanfiction author might lose more hair than the original author.
